Ferroelectric thin films of Nd and Mn co-doped bismuth titanate, Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3−x
Mn
x
O12 (BNTM) (x = 0–0.1), were fabricated on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si(100) substrates by a sol–gel technique. The BNTM films had a polycrystalline perovskite structure and uniform and dense
surface morphologies. A lattice distortion was observed in the BNTM films due to Mn ion doping. The ferroelectric measurement
of the films indicated that the values of coercive field (E
c
) decreased gradually with the increase of the Mn content (x), however, the remanent polarization (P
r
) increase firstly and then decrease with the increase of x. The sample with x = 0.05 had optimum electrical properties and a maximum 2P
r
value. The 2P
r
and 2E
c
values of the film at a maximum applied electric field of 400 kV/cm were 38.3 μC/cm2 and 180 kV/cm, respectively. Moreover, this BNTM capacitors did not show fatigue behaviors after 1.0 × 1010 switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz, suggesting a fatigue-free character. The main reason for the increase of the 2P
r
and the decrease of the 2E
c
might be attributed to the lattice distortion in BNTM films due to Mn ion doping. 相似文献

Phase-pure nanocrystalline Li4Ti5O12 with BET surface areas between 183 and 196 m2/g was prepared via an improved synthetic protocol from lithium ethoxide and titanium(IV) butoxide. The phase purity was proved by X-ray powder diffraction, Raman spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Thin-film electrodes were prepared from two nanocrystalline samples of Li4Ti5O12 and one microcrystalline commercial sample. The non-isothermal sintering process of cerium dioxide containing gadolinium sesquioxide powders within a wide range of specific surface area was investigated by dilatometry. Linear shrinkage data of powder compacts were recorded under several constant rates of heating. Dilatometry data were analyzed by two methodologies enabling to preview the relative density for any temperature/time profile, and determination of the apparent activation energy for sintering. Correlation of dilatometry results with microstructure evolution was also carried out. Remarkable differences in sintering powders with different specific surface areas were found. The apparent activation energy for sintering increases with decreasing specific surface area and, in most cases, it does not change significantly in the approximately 70–85% range of relative density. 相似文献

The CaO-3 (1 + x)CuO-4TiO2 system was studied using powder X-ray diffraction in the concentration region near calcium copper titanate. A single-phase material is formed in this system only when x ~ 0. An excess or deficit of copper gives rise to extra phases: CuO or CaTiO3 and TiO2, respectively. Impurities increase the dielectric constant of CaCu3Ti4O12-based ceramics. An excess of copper oxide (x ~ 0.08) increases ? more than tenfold. 相似文献

The metal-ferroelectric-semiconductor (MFS) heterostructure has been fabricated using Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT) as a ferroelectric layer by sol-gel processing. The effect of annealing temperature on phase formation and electrical
characteristics of Ag/BLT/p-Si heterostructure were investigated. The BLT thin films annealed at from 500°C to 650°C are polycrystalline,
with no pyrochlore or other second phases. The C-V curves of Ag/BLT/p-Si heterostructure annealed at 600°C show a clockwise C-V ferroelectric hysteresis loops and obtain good electrical properties with low current density of below 2×10−8 A/cm2 within ±4 V, a memory window of over 0.7 V for a thickness of 400 nm BLT films. The memory window enlarges and the current
density reduces with the increase of annealing temperature, but a annealing temperature over 600°C is disadvantageous for

Bi2O2.7/Bi2Ti2O7 composite photocatalyst films are synthesized by sol–gel dip-coating. The ratio of adding Bi and Ti precursors can be controlled during the preparation process. The phase structure is confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectrum shows that the composite catalysts present light absorption in the visible region. The obtained Bi2O2.7/Bi2Ti2O7 composite films possess superior photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B, owing to the visible light response of Bi2O2.7 and the separation of photogenerated electrons and holes between the two components. As a result, the Bi2O2.7/Bi2Ti2O7 (Bi/Ti = 1:1) displays the highest photocatalytic activity under visible light or UV light irradiation for the degradation of different organic dyes, including methyl blue, methyl orange and acid orange 7. 相似文献

Lithium-ion battery based on LiMn2O4/Li4Ti5O12 materials was assembled for the first time. The cathode and anode of this battery are prepared with the aqueous combined binder poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene: polystyrene sulfonate/carboxymethylcellulose (without polyvinylidene fluoride). The capacity of the LiMn2O4/Li4Ti5O12 battery was found to be 75 mA h g–1 at 0.1 C and 55 mA h g–1 at 1 C. A 95% capacity was retained after 100 charge-discharge cycles. The batteries demonstrated a high Coulombic efficiency close to 100%. Scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that using the conducting binder poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene: polystyrene sulfonate/carboxymethylcellulose provides formation of dense compact layers of electrode materials with good adhesion to the substrate. The electrode structure remains maintained after 100 charge-discharge cycles. 相似文献

Bismuth germanate ceramic powders were synthesized for the first time by the polymeric precursor method (Pechini’s method).
Differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric techniques were used to study the decomposition of the resin precursor,
which indicated a suitable calcination temperature at 600 °C. It was observed that the mass loss occurs in two main stages
that are associated with two exothermic reactions. The crystalline phases of the powders were inspected by the X-ray diffraction
technique after thermal treatment between 300 and 600 °C. Single phase Bi4Ge3O12 ceramic bodies were obtained after sintering at 840 °C for 10 h. The sintered ceramics presented a luminescence band emission

Differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of an α-Bi2O3 sample revealed staged phase transitions in the range 720–800°C (at 720, 780, and 800°C) and the elimination of oxygen to the composition Bi2O2.967 during heating to 895°C in air at 16 K/min. In dynamic vacuum (p = 1.33 Pa) at 780–800°C, Bi2O3 consecutively transforms to a phase with the cubic γ-Bi2O3 structure and tetragonal Bi2O2.3?2.4. In the latter, electron diffraction in a transmission electron microscope (ED/TEM) shows a superstructure with the superstructure vector q 110 ≈ 1/9, which indicates an ordered arrangement of oxygen vacancies. 相似文献

Lanthanum-modified bismuth titanate (Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12, BLTO) powders were prepared by the complex polymerization method. The structure and morphology of BLTO powders were investigated
by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The complexation of citric acid with the metallic cations was detected
by Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR). The thermal analyses of obtained gels were investigated by differential thermal gravimetric
(DTG). The pure and normally stoichiometric phase of BLTO powders could be obtained at relatively low temperature of 550–700 °C
even if the bismuth content is not excess in the starting precursors, while the secondary phase could be detected at lower
and higher calcination temperatures. The shape of the BLTO grains is similarly to platelet in Bi-layer structure and stoichiometry

The conductivity and transport number of oxygen ions of Bi2O3-(10, 30, 50) vol % NiO composites are measured using the four-probe and coulomb-volumetric methods at various temperatures. It is shown that the Bi2O3-50 vol % NiO composite exhibits a high mixed ionic-electronic conductivity in the temperature range from 730 to 800°C. 相似文献

Spinel phase Li4Ti5O12 (s-LTO) with an average primary particle size of 150 nm was synthesised via a solid state route by calcining a precursor mixture at 600 °C. The precursor was prepared from a stoichiometric mixture of TiO2 nanoparticles and an ethanolic solution of Li acetate and activated by ball-milling. Effects of the calcination temperature and atmosphere are examined in relation to the coexistence of impurity phases by X-ray diffraction and 6Li MAS NMR. The charge capacity of s-LTO, determined from cyclic voltammogram at a scan rate of 0.1 mV/s, was 142 mAh/g. The capacity of our optimised material is superior to that of commercially available spinel (a-LTO), despite the considerably smaller BET-specific surface area of the former. The superior properties of our material were also demonstrated by galvanostatic charging/discharging. From these observations, we conclude that the presented low-temperature solid state synthesis route provides LTO with improved electrochemical performance. 相似文献

Ferroelectric Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT) thin films were fabricated by depositing sol-gel solutions on Pt(111)/Ti/SiO2/Si (100) substrates. Crystallographic orientations of the BLT films were random, but the preferred orientations along (00l) and (117) axes were found. All films showed a single-phase bismuth-layered structure but the orientation in the films could
be engineered by optimizing the growth condition, as well as by introducing dopant atoms such as Ce and Zr in the films, which
in turn influenced the ferroelectric properties of the films significantly. The shape of c-axis-oriented grains was more plate-like, while that of (117)-oriented grains was rod-like. Small % substitution of Ce, Mn,
and Zr atoms at Ti site enhanced the remanent polarization by approximately 20%, while substitution of Si atoms reduced the
remanent polarization in BLT films but improved insulating properties. It was also demonstrated that fatigue endurance could
be controlled by the concentration of dopant atoms, which was thought to be due to the decrease in oxygen vacancy concentration. 相似文献

Compatibility of the lithium-titanium spinel Li4Ti5O12 in contact with precursors of lithium-conducting solid electrolytes of composition Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 (LATP), Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO4)3 (LAGP), Li0.5La0.5TiO3 (LLT) was studied. It was found that, in sintering of Li4Ti5O12 brought in contact with LATP and LAGP, a solid-phase reaction occurs to give nonconducting phases (TiO2 and Li3PO4). The conductivity of the stable composite Li4Ti5O12/LLT (10%) is higher than that of the starting Li4Ti5O12, which makes it possible to regard the composite as a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries. 相似文献

A systematic investigation is conducted to evaluate the influence of dissolved manganese ions from LiMn2O4 cathode on the degradation of Li4Ti5O12-based lithium-ion batteries. Worse capacity fading is found in Li4Ti5O12-based full cells with increasing manganese ion addition. The interfacial film covered on Li4Ti5O12 anode is affected by the manganese ion contamination during cycling, which becomes thicker but more non-uniform, and is composed by less ratio of compact components and more ratio of loose components compared with that free of contamination. Such flawed passivation film cannot restrain the further penetration of electrolyte and inhibit the contact between electrolyte and Li4Ti5O12 anodes efficiently, thus triggering more interfacial reactions and that should be the reason for the more severe capacity degradation. Accordingly, we suggest that in addition to optimizing the chemistry and microstructure of Li4Ti5O12 electrode, more attention should also be paid to minimizing the destructive effect imposed on the passivation film of Li4Ti5O12 electrode by the transition metal ion contaminations. 相似文献

A novel electrochemical sensor based on LaNi0.5Ti0.5O3/CoFe2O4 nanoparticle-modified electrode (LNT–CFO/GCE) for sensitive determination of paracetamol (PAR) was presented. Experimental
conditions such as the concentration of LNT–CFO, pH value, and applied potential were investigated. Under the optimum conditions,
the electrochemical performances of LNT–CFO/GCE have been researched on the oxidation of PAR. The electrochemical behaviors
of PAR on LNT–CFO/GCE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that LNT–CFO/GCE exhibited excellent promotion
to the oxidation of PAR. The over-potential of PAR decreased significantly on the modified electrode compared with that on
bare GCE. Furthermore, the sensor exhibits good reproducibility, stability, and selectivity in PAR determination. Linear response
was obtained in the range of 0.5 to 901 μM with a detection limit of 0.19 μM for PAR. 相似文献

A complex oxalate precursor, CaCu3(TiO)4(C2O4)8·9H2O, (CCT-OX), was synthesized and the precipitate that obtained was confirmed to be monophasic by the wet chemical analyses,
X-ray diffraction, FTIR absorption and TG/DTA analyses. The thermal decomposition of this oxalate precursor led to the formation
of phase-pure calcium copper titanate, CaCu3Ti4O12, (CCTO) at ≥680°C. The bright-field TEM micrographs revealed that the size of the as synthesized crystallites to be in the
30–80 nm range. The powders so obtained had excellent sinterability resulting in high density ceramics which exhibited giant
dielectric constants upto 40000 (1 kHz) at 25°C, accompanied by low dielectric losses, <0.07. 相似文献
