Reaction of FcCH(2)PO(3)H(2) [Fc=(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))] (H(2)FMPA) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) with Cd(OAc)(2).2 H(2)O or ZnSO(4).7 H(2)O in methanol in the presence of triethylamine resulted in the formation of two new ferrocenylphosphonate metal-cage complexes [M(4)(fmpa)(4)(phen)(4)] 7 CH(3)OH (M=Cd 1, M=Zn 2). Both structures contain two kinds of isomeric tetranuclear metal phosphonate cages, which are linked to one another by pi-pi interactions between the phen molecules. In 1, the Cd1, Cd3, and Cd4 atoms are all pentacoordinate, while the Cd2 atom is coordinated by four oxygen atoms from three phosphonate ligands and two nitrogen atoms from the chelating phen in a distorted octahedral geometry. Four Cd atoms from each unit are interconnected through bridging phosphonate ligands with different coordination modes, such as 5.221, 4.211, and 2.11 (Harris notation), yielding a {Cd(4)} cage. In 2, each Zn atom is coordinated by three oxygen atoms from three phosphonate ligands and two nitrogen atoms from phen, leading to a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. The four Zn atoms of each isomeric unit are also interconnected through four bridging phosphonate ligands to yield a {Zn(4)} cage. Fluorescent studies indicate that ligand-to-ligand charge-transfer photoluminescence is observed for 1, while the emission bands of 2 can be assigned to an admixture of ligand-to-ligand and metal-to-ligand charge transfer. Solution-state differential pulse voltammetry indicates that the half-wave potentials of the ferrocenyl moieties in 1 and 2 have different deviations relative to the relevant H(2)FMPA ligand. This may be because the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) in 1 is located in the FMPA(2-) groups, while in 2 the HOMO is located in the phen and Zn(II) groups, so the Fe(II) centers in complex 1 are more easily oxidized to Fe(III) centers than those of 2. The third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) measurements show that both 1 and 2 exhibit strong third-order NLO self-focusing effects; hence, they are promising candidates for NLO materials. By calculating the component of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals of 1 and 2, we confirmed that the co-planar phen rings control their optical nonlinearity, while the H(2)FMPA ligands and metal ions have only a weak influence on their NLO properties.  相似文献

A systematic investigation of fluoride anion binding properties as a function of chelate backbone has been carried out for ferrocene functionalised boronic esters of the types FcB(OR)2 and fc[B(OR)2]2 [Fc = ferrocenyl = (eta5-C5H5)Fe(eta5-C5H4); fc = ferrocendiyl = Fe(eta5-C5H4)2]. Cyclic boronic esters containing a saturated five- or six-membered chelate ring are readily synthesized from ferrocene, and selectively bind fluoride via Lewis acid/base chemistry in chloroform solution. The resulting complexes are characterized by relatively weak fluoride binding (e.g.K = 35.8 +/- 9.8 M(-1) for FcBO2C2H2Ph2-S,S), and by cathodic shifts in the ferrocene oxidation potential that form the basis for electrochemical or colorimetric fluoride detection. The fluoride selectivity of these systems is attributed to relatively weak Lewis acidity, resulting in weak F- binding, and essentially no binding of potentially competitive anions. By contrast, more elaborate Lewis acid frameworks based on calix[4]arene (calixH4), such as (FcB)2calix or fcB2calix, do not survive intact exposure to standard fluoride sources (e.g. [nBu4N]F.xH2O solutions in chloroform or acetonitrile). Instead B-O bond cleavage occurs yielding the parent calixarene; the differences between alkoxo- and aryloxo-functionalised derivatives can be rationalised, at least in part, by consideration of the differences in electron donating capabilities of RO- (R = alkyl, aryl).  相似文献

The bidentate sandwich ligand [Fe(eta 5-C5H(4)-1-C5H4N)2] has been prepared, structurally characterized and employed in the preparation of the novel supramolecular heterobimetallic metalla-macrocycles [Fe(eta 5-C5H(4)-1-C5H4N)2]Ag2(NO3)(2).1.5H2O, [Fe(eta 5-C5H(4)-1-C5H4N)2]Cu2(CH3COO)(4).3H2O and [Fe(eta 5-C5H(4)-1-C5H4N)2]Zn2Cl4.  相似文献

Partially deprotonated inorganic oxoanions derived from sulfuric and phosphoric acids have been used to assemble organometallic cations in inorganic-organometallic hybrid systems. The organometallic sandwich cations [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)Co]+, [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)Co]+ and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)Fe]+ have been used because they do not interfere with hydrogen bonding formation forcing self-assembling of the inorganic acids anions HSO(4)(-) and H(2)PO(4)(-) into hydrogen bonded mono- and bi-dimensional networks.  相似文献

Manual grinding of the organometallic complex [Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(2)] with a number of solid bases, namely 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane, C(6)H(12)N(2), 1,4-phenylenediamine, p-(NH(2))(2)C(6)H(4), piperazine, HN(C(2)H(4))(2)NH, trans-1,4-cyclohexanediamine, p-(NH(2))(2)C(6)H(10), and guanidinium carbonate [(NH(2))(3)C](2)[CO(3)], generates quantitatively the corresponding adducts, [HC(6)H(12)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (1), [HC(6)H(8)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (2), [H(2)C(4)H(10)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)] (3), [H(2)C(6)H(14)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)].2 H(2)O, (4.2 H(2)O), and [C(NH(2))(3)](2)[Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)].2 H(2)O, (5.2 H(2)O), respectively. Crystallization from methanol in the presence of seeds of the ground sample allows the growth of single crystals of these adducts; therefore we were able to determine the structures of the adducts by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This information was used in turn to identify and characterize the polycrystalline materials obtained by the grinding process. In the case of [HC(6)N(2)H(12)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (1), the base can be removed by mild treatment regenerating the starting dicarboxylic acid, while in all other cases decomposition is observed. The solid-solid processes described herein imply molecular diffusion through the lattice, breaking and reassembling of hydrogen-bonded networks, and proton transfer from acid to base.  相似文献

Treatment of p-ferrocenylbenzoate [p-HOOCH4C6Fc, Fc = (eta5-C5H5)Fe(eta5-C5H5)] with Mn(OAc)2 x 2H2O or Cd(OAc)2 x 2H2O afforded one-dimensional linear chain polymer [[Mn(OOCH4C6Fc)2(mu2-OH2)(H2O)2](H2O)]n (1), double-bridge polymer [Mn(mu2-OOCH4C6Fc)2(phen)]n (phen = phenanthroline) (2), and ladderlike framework [[Cd(mu2-OOCH4C6Fc)(eta2-OOCH4C6Fc)(bbp)](CH3OH)]n (bbp = 4,4'-trimethylene-dipyridine) (3). The solution-state cyclic voltammograms indicate that the half-wave potentials of the ferrocenyl moieties in these polymers are all shifted to positive potential compared to that of sodium p-ferrocenylbenzoate. Both 1 and 2 behave as 1D Heisenberg Mn(II) chains with weak intrachain antiferromagnetic interactions between the local high-spin Mn(II) ions, and the exchange coupling parameters J (-5.20 and -3.25 cm(-1) for 1 and 2, respectively) are larger than those of most of the reported di-Mn(II) complexes that contain mu2-aqua and mu2-carboxylato units and one-dimensional Mn(II) carboxylic polymers.  相似文献

Pentacarbonyl-7H-indenediiron, [Fe2(CO)5(eta3,eta5-C9H8)] (1), reacts with aryllithium, ArLi (Ar = C6H5, p-C6H5C6H4), followed by alkylation with Et3OBF4 to give novel 7H-indene-coordinated diiron bridging alkoxycarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(OC2H5)Ar}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (2, Ar = C6H5; 3, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Complexes 2 and 3 react with HBF4.Et2O at low temperature to yield cationic bridging carbyne complexes [Fe2(mu-CAr)(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)]BF4 (4, Ar = C6H5; 5, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Cationic 4 and 5 react with NaBH4 in THF at low temperature to afford diiron bridging arylcarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(H)Ar}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (6, Ar = C6H5; 7, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). The similar reactions of 4 and 5 with NaSC6H4CH3-p produce the bridging arylthiocarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(Ar)SC6H4CH3-p}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (8, Ar = C6H5; 9, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Cationic 4 and 5 can also react with anionic carbonylmetal compounds Na[M(CO)5(CN)] (M = Cr, Mo, W) to give the diiron bridging aryl(pentacarbonylcyanometal)carbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(Ar)NCM(CO)5}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (10, Ar = C6H5, M = Cr; 11, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Cr; 12, Ar = C6H5, M = Mo; 13, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Mo; 14, Ar = C6H5, M = W; 15, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = W). Interestingly, in CH2Cl2 solution at room temperature complexes 10-15 were transformed into the isomerized 7H-indene-coordinated monoiron complexes [Fe(CO)2(eta5-C9H8)C(Ar)NCM(CO)5] (16, Ar = C6H5, M = Cr; 17, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Cr; 18, Ar = C6H5, M = Mo; 19, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Mo; 20, Ar = C6H5, M = W; 21, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = W), while complex 3 was converted into a novel ring addition product [Fe2{C(OC2H5)C6H4C6H5-p-(eta2,eta5-C9H8)}(CO)5] (22) under the same conditions. The structures of complexes 2, 6, 8, 14, 18 and 22 have been established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Cyclopentadienyl (Cp) ligands in moderately strained [1]- and [2]ferrocenophanes [Fe{(eta5-C5H4)2(ERx)y}: Fe{(eta5-C5H4)2SiMe2} (1), Fe{(eta5-C5H4)CH2}2 (10)] and highly strained [2]ruthenocenophanes [Ru{(eta5-C5H4)CR2}2 {R = H (15), Me (16)}] are susceptible to partial substitution by P donors and form mixed-hapticity metallocycles-[M(L2){(eta5-C5H4)(ERx)y(eta1-C5H4)}]: [Fe(dppe){(eta5-C5H4)SiMe2(eta1-C5H4)}] (5), [Fe(dmpe){(eta5-C5H4)SiMe2(eta1-C5H4)}] (6), [Fe(dmpe){(eta5-C5H4)(CH2)2(eta1-C5H4)}] (11), [Ru(dmpe){(eta5-C5H4)(CH2)2(eta1-C5H4)}] (17), [Ru(dmpe){(eta5-C5H4)(CMe2)2(eta1-C5H4)}] (18), and [Ru(PMe3)2{(eta5-C5H4)(CH2)2(eta1-C5H4)}] (19)-through haptotropic reduction of one eta5-, pi-bound Cp to eta1, sigma-coordination. These reactions are strain-controlled, as highly ring-tilted [2]ruthenocenophanes 15 and 16 [tilt angles (alpha) approximately 29-31 degrees ] react without irradiation to form thermodynamically stable products, while moderately strained [n]ferrocenophanes 1 and 10 (alpha approximately 19-22 degrees ) require photoactivation. The iron-containing photoproducts 5 and 11 are metastable and thermally retroconvert to their strained precursors and free phosphines at 70 degrees C. In contrast, the unprecedented ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of the essentially ring-strain-free adduct 6 to afford poly(ferrocenyldimethylsilane) [Fe(eta5-C5H4)2SiMe2]n (Mw approximately 5000 Da) was initiated by the thermal liberation of small amounts of P donor. Unlike reactions with bidentate analogues, monodentate phosphines promoted photolytic ROP of ferrocenophanes 1 and 10. MALDI-TOF analysis suggested a cyclic structure for the soluble poly(ferrocenyldimethylsilane), 8-cyclic, produced from 1 in this manner. While the polymer likewise produced from 10 was insoluble, the initiation step in the ROP process was modeled by isolation of a tris(phosphine)-substituted ring-opened ferrocenophane [Fe(PMe3)3{(eta5-C5H4)(CH2)2(C5H5)}][OCH2CH3] (13[OCH2CH3]) generated by irradiation of 10 and PMe3 in a protic solvent (EtOH). Studies of the cation 13 revealed that the Fe center reacts with a Cp- anion with loss of the phosphines to form [Fe(eta5-C5H5){(eta5-C5H4)(CH2)2(C5H5)}] (14) under conditions identical to those of the ROP experiments, confirming the likelihood of "back-biting" reactions to yield cyclic structures or macrocondensation to produce longer chains.  相似文献

Depending on the stoichiometric ratio, squaric acid (3,4-dihydroxy-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione, H2SQA) reacts with [(eta6-C6H6)2Cr] in THF to form the crystalline material [(eta6-C6H6)2Cr][HSQA] (1) and in water to yield [[(eta6-C6H6)2Cr]2][SQA] x 6H2O (3); it also reacts with [(eta5-C5H5)2Co][OH] in water to form [[(eta5-C5H5)2Co]2][SQA] x 6H2O (4). Compound 1 is almost isostructural with the previously reported salt [(eta5-C5H5)2Co][HSQA] (2); its structure is based on pi-pi stacks between the benzene ligands and the hydrogen squarate anionic chains (pi-pi distance 3.375 A). Compounds 3 and 4 are isomorphous and have a structure in which layers of organometallic cations intercalate with layers of water molecules hydrogen bonded to squarate dianions. All crystals contain charge-assisted C-Hdelta+...Odelta- hydrogen bonds between the organometallic and the organic components, while negative O-H(-)...O(-) and O-H...O(2-) interactions are present in the pairs 1/3 and 2/4, respectively. In constrast to most organic salts of [(eta6-C6H6)2Cr]+ and [(eta5-C5H5)2Co]+ which are yellow, crystals of compounds 1-4 are orange. Reflectance spectra measured on the crystalline material 1 show the presence of an intense tail that can be assigned to a charge-transfer transition through the [(eta6-C6H6)2Cr]+/[HSQA]- pi-stacking interactions, while the pi stacking in 2 causes only a broadening of the band. The magnetic behaviour of 1 and 3 has been investigated by SQUID magnetometry. Both compounds are characterised by a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the S=1/2 Cr centres of the [(eta6-C6H6)2Cr]+ cations, which is significantly stronger in 1 due to the pi-stacking with the HSQA- anions.  相似文献

Reaction of a 1,3-bis(ferrocenylchalcogeno)propane, FcE(CH2)3E'Fc (L: E, E' = Se or Te; Fc = [Fe(eta5-C5H5)(eta5-C5H4)]), with a palladium(II) or platinum(II) precursor [M(NCMe)4](PF6)2 (M = Pd or Pt) in acetonitrile at room temperature led in good yield to the bis-chelate complexes [ML2](PF6)2. The structures of FcSe(CH2)3SeFc and all six complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Electrochemical studies showed that electronic communication between ferrocenyl groups, absent in all three bis(ferrocenylchalcogeno)propanes, is established on complexation only for E = Se and E' = Se or Te, when the through-bond Fe...Fe distance is reduced to 13.17 A or less.  相似文献

The reactions of AlCl 3.6H 2O and GaCl 3 with 2-pyridylphosphonic acid (2PypoH 2) and 4-pyridylphosphonic acid (4PypoH 2) afford cyclic aluminum and gallium phosphonate structures of [(2PypoH) 4Al 4(OH 2) 12]Cl 8.6H 2O ( 1), [(4PypoH) 4Al 4(OH 2) 12]Cl 8.11H 2O ( 2), [(2PypoH) 4Al 4(OH 2) 12](NO 3) 8.7H 2O ( 3), [(2PypoH) 2(2Pypo) 4Ga 8Cl 12(OH 2) 4(thf) 2](GaCl 4) 2..8thf ( 4), and [(2PypoH) 2(2Pypo) 4Ga 8Cl 12(OH 2) 4(thf) 2](NO 3) 2.9thf ( 5). Structures 1- 3 feature four aluminum atoms bridged by oxygen atoms from the phosphonate moiety and show structural resemblance to the secondary building units found in zeolites and aluminum phosphates. The gallium complexes, 4 and 5, have eight gallium atoms bridged by phosphonate moieties with two GaCl 4 (-) counterions present in 4 and nitrate ions in 5. The cage structures 1- 3 are interlinked by strong hydrogen bonds, forming polymeric chains that, for aluminum, are thermally robust. Exchange of the phosphonic acid for the more flexible 4PyCH 2PO 3H 2 afforded a coordination polymer with a 1:1 Ga:P ratio, {[(4PyCH 2PO 3H)Ga(OH 2) 3](NO 3) 2.0.5H 2O} x ( 6). Complexes 1- 6 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR, and mass spectrometry and studied by TGA.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions of bis(benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl)imino(methylenephosphonic acid) {[(C(7)H(5)N(2))CH(2)]2NCH(2)PO(3)H(2), bbimpH2} with metal salts result in four new compounds, namely, Mn2{[(C(7)H(5)N(2))CH2]2NCH(2)PO(3)}2(H2O)2.2H2O (1), Cd2{[(C(7)H(5)N(2))CH2]2NCH(2)PO(3)}2.2H2O (2), Fe2{[(C(7)H(5)N(2))CH2]2NCH(2)PO(3)}2.H2O (3), and CuI(2){[(C(7)H(5)N(2))CH2]2NCH(2)P(OH)O2}2 (4). Compounds 1 and 2 have dinuclear structures in which two {MN(3)O(3)} octahedra are linked through edge sharing. In compound 3, a chain structure is observed where the {FeN(3)O(2)} trigonal bipyramids are linked by {CPO(3)} tetrahedra through corner-sharing. The structure of compound 4 is unique. The monovalent Cu(I) ions are connected by the imidazole nitrogen atoms from the bbimp(2-) ligands forming a 16-member metallomacrocycle. These metallomacrocycles are further connected by the phosphonate oxygen atoms, leading to a two-dimensional net containing 16- and 32-member rings. Magnetic studies of 1 and 3 reveal that weak ferromagnetic interactions are mediated between magnetic centers in compound 1, while antiferromagnetic interactions were observed in compound 3.  相似文献

Treatment of the acetylene-coordinated tetrairon cluster, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCH)2]+, with N-bromosuccinimide led to stepwise bromination of two acetylene ligands to form [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCBr)(HCCH)]+, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCBr)2]+, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(BrCCBr)(HCCBr)]+, and [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(BrCCBr)2]+. Reaction of copper salts with 1,4-phenylenebis(phosphonic acid) yielded a conventional layered compound, Cu(2)[(O(3)PC(6)H(4)PO(3))(H(2)O)(2)], while a similar reaction with 4,4'-biphenylenebis(phosphonic acid) resulted in a new lamellar structure with composition Cu[HO(3)P(C(6)H(4))(2)PO(3)H]. The structures of these compounds were solved ab initio by using X-ray powder diffraction data. The crystals of the phenylenebis(phosphonate) compound are monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 18.8892(4) ?, b = 7.6222(2) ?, c = 7.4641(2) ?, beta = 90.402(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The layer structure in this case is similar to that in copper phenylphosphonate, Cu[O(3)PC(6)H(5)]. The metal atoms display a distorted square pyramidal geometry where four of the coordination sites are occupied by the phosphonate oxygens. The remaining site is filled by an oxygen atom of the water molecule. Adjacent metal-O(3)PC layers are covalently pillared by the phenyl group of the phosphonates to create a 3-dimensional structure. Cu[HO(3)P(C(6)H(4))(2)PO(3)H] is triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 4.856(2) ?, b = 14.225(5) ?, c = 4.788(2) ?, alpha = 97.85(1) degrees, beta = 110.14(1) degrees, gamma = 89.38(1) degrees, and Z = 1. The structure in this case, ideally consists of linear chains of copper atoms. The copper atoms are bridged by centrosymmetrically related phosphonate groups utilizing two of their oxygen atoms. This binding mode leads to square planar geometry for the copper atoms. The third oxygen atom of the phosphonate is protonated and is involved in linking adjacent linear chains through hydrogen bonds. At the same time, these hydroxyl oxygens interact weakly (Cu-O = 3.14 ?) with the copper atoms of the adjacent chain. Considering these long Cu-O interactions, the geometry of the copper atom may be described as distorted square bipyramidal. As in the phenylphosphonate structure, the biphenyl groups covalently link the Cu-O(3)PC networks in the perpendicular direction.  相似文献

The reaction of cyclohexylphosphonic acid (C(6)H(11)PO(3)H(2)), anhydrous CuCl(2) and 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) in the presence of triethylamine followed by a metathesis reaction with KNO(3) afforded [Cu(4)(mu-Cl)(2)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(bpy)(4)](NO(3))(2) (1). In an analogous reaction involving Cu(OAc)(2).H(2)O, the complex [Cu(4)(mu-CH(3)COO)(2)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(2,2'-bpy)(4)](CH(3)COO)(2) (2) has been isolated. The three-component reaction involving Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, cyclohexylphosphonic acid and 2,2'-bipyridine in the presence of triethylamine afforded the tetranuclear assembly [Cu(4)(mu-OH)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(2,2'-bpy)(4) (H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(3) (3). Replacing 2,2'-bipyridine with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in the above reaction resulted in [Cu(4)(mu-OH)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(phen)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(3) (4). In all the copper(II) phosphonates (1-4) the two phosphonate ions bridge the four copper(II) ions in a capping coordination action. Each phosphonate ion bridges four copper(II) ions in a mu(4), eta(3) coordination mode or 4.211 of the Harris notation. Variable-temperature magnetic studies on reveal that all four complexes exhibit moderately strong intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling. The DNA cleavage activity of complexes 1-4 is also described. Compounds 1 and 3 were able to completely convert the supercoiled pBR322 DNA form I to nick form II without any co-oxidant. In contrast, 50% conversion occurred with and 40% with 4. In the presence of magnesium monoperoxyphthalate all four compounds achieved rapid conversion of form I to form II.  相似文献

Three novel ferrocenecarboxylato-bridged lanthanide dimers [Gd2(mu 2-OOCFc)2(OOCFc)4(MeOH)2(H2O)2].2MeOH.2H2O (1) (Fc = (eta 5-C5H5)Fe(eta 5-C5H4)), [Nd2(mu 2-OOCFc)2(OOCFc)4(H2O)4].2MeOH.H2O (2), and [Y2(mu 2-OOCFc)2-(OOCFc)4(H2O)4].2MeOH (3) have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. In each complex, two Ln(III) (Ln = Gd, Nd, or Y) ions are bridged by two ferrocenecarboxylate anions as asymmetrically bridging ligands, leading to dimeric cores, [Ln2(mu 2-OOCFc)2]; each Ln(III) ion has an irregular polyhedral coordination environment with nine coordinated oxygen atoms derived from the ferrocenecarboxylate ligands and coordinated solvent molecules. In the solid-state structure of compound 1, [Gd2(mu 2-OOCFc)2(OOCFc)4(MeOH)2(H2O)2] groups are joined together by hydrogen bonds forming a two-dimensional network. Both compounds 2 and 3 show one-dimensional chain structures by hydrogen bonding; they are different from 1. Magnetic measurements show unexpected ferromagnetic coupling between the gadolinium(III) ions; the best fittings to the experimental magnetic susceptibilities gave J = 0.006 cm-1 and g = 2.0 for 1. The magnetic behavior for 2 was also studied in the temperature range of 1.8-300 K.  相似文献

Two new lead(II) phosphonates, namely, Pb2[PMIDA]*1.5H2O (1) (H4PMIDA = H2O3PCH2N(CH2CO2H)2) and Pb(H2L) (2) (H4L = CH3N(CH2PO3H2)2), have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions at 150 degrees C. Complex 1 crystallized in tetragonal P42/n with cell dimensions of a = 17.317(7) and c = 7.507(5) A and Z = 8. In complex 1, Pb(1) is 6-coordinated by chelation in a tetradentate fashion by a PMIDA ligand (3 O, 1 N) and two phosphonate oxygen atoms from neighboring Pb(PMIDA) units in a severely distorted octahedral geometry, whereas Pb(2) is 6-coordinated by 4 carboxylate and 2 phosphonate oxygen atoms also with a severely distorted octahedral environment. These two different types of Pb(II) ions are interconnected through bridging carboxylate and phosphonate groups, resulting in a 3D network with micropores, whose cavity is filled by lattice water molecules interlinked via hydrogen bonds. Each PMIDA ligand bridges with 8 Pb(II) ions (3 Pb(1) and 5 Pb(2)). Complex 2 is orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), with a = 7.382(5), b = 7.440(6), and c = 30.75(2) A and Z = 8. The structure of 2 features a 2D double lead(II) phosphonate layer along the ab plane. Each lead(II) ion is 5-coordinated by five phosphonate oxygen atoms from four ligands in a distorted trigonal bipyramid geometry. These double layers are further interconnected via hydrogen bonds between the protonated and uncoordinated phosphonate oxygens along the c-axis.  相似文献

Divalent metal complexes of macrocyclic ligand 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-1,8-bis(methylphosphonic acid)) (1,8-H4te2p, H4L) were investigated in solution and in the solid state. The majority of transition-metal ions form thermodynamically very stable complexes as a consequence of high affinity for the nitrogen atoms of the ring. On the other hand, complexes with Mn2+, Pb2+ and alkaline earth ions interacting mainly with phosphonate oxygen atoms are much weaker than those of transition-metal ions and are formed only at higher pH. The same tendency is seen in the solid state. Zinc(II) ion in the octahedral trans-O,O-[Zn(H2L)] complex is fully encapsulated within the macrocycle (N4O2 coordination mode with protonated phosphonate oxygen atoms). The polymeric {[Pb(H2L)(H2O)2].6H2O}n complex has double-protonated secondary amino groups and the central atom is bound only to the phosphonate oxygen atoms. The phosphonate moieties bridge lead atoms creating a 3D-polymeric network. The [{(H2O)5Mn}2(micro-H2L)](H2L).21H2O complex contains two pentaaquamanganese(II) moieties bridged by a ligand molecule protonated on two nitrogen atoms. In the complex cation, oxygen atoms of the phosphonate groups on the opposite sites of the ring occupy one coordination site of each metal ion. The second ligand molecule is diprotonated and balances the positive charge of the complex cation. Complexation of zinc(II) and cadmium(II) by the ligand shows large differences in reactivity of differently protonated ligand species similarly to other cyclam-like complexes. Acid-assisted dissociations of metal(II) complexes occur predominantly through triprotonated species [M(H3L)]+ and take place at pH < 5 (Zn2+) and pH < 6 (Cd2+).  相似文献

Representative members of a new family of covalently bonded charge-transfer molecular hybrids, of general formula [(eta5-C5H5)Fe(mu,eta6:eta1-p-RC6H4NN)Mo(eta2-S2CNEt2)3] +PF6- (R: H, 5+PF6-; Me, 6+PF6-; MeO, 7+PF6-) and [(eta5-C5Me5)Fe(mu,eta6:eta1-C6H5NN)Mo(eta2-S2CNEt2)3]+PF6-, 8+PF6-, have been synthesized by reaction of the corresponding mixed-sandwich organometallic hydrazines [(eta5-C5H5)Fe(eta6-p-RC6H4NHNH2)]+PF6- (R: H, 1+PF6-; Me, 2+PF6-; MeO, 3+PF6-) and [(eta5-C5Me5)Fe(eta6-C6H5NHNH2)]+PF6-, 4+PF6-, with cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) bis(diethyldithiocarbamato) complex, [MoO2(S2CNEt2)2], in the presence of sodium diethyldithiocarbamato trihydrate, NaSC(=S)NEt2.3H2O, in refluxing methanol. These iron-molybdenum complexes consist of organometallic and inorganic fragments linked each other through a pi-conjugated aryldiazenido bridge coordinated in eta6 and eta1 modes, respectively. These complexes were fully characterized by FT-IR, UV-visible, and 1H NMR spectroscopies and, in the case of complex 7+PF6-, by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Likewise, the electrochemical and solvatochromic properties were studied by cyclic voltammetry and UV-visible spectroscopy, respectively. The electronic spectra of these hybrids show an absorption band in the 462-489 and 447-470 nm regions in CH2Cl2 and DMSO, respectively, indicating the existence of a charge-transfer transition from the inorganic donor to the organometallic acceptor fragments through the aryldiazenido spacer. A rationalization of the properties of 5+PF6--8+PF6- is provided through DFT calculations on a simplified model of 7+PF6-. Besides the heterodinuclear complexes 5+PF6--8+PF6-, the mononuclear molybdenum diazenido derivatives, [(eta1-p-RC6H4NN)Mo(eta2-S2CNEt2)3] (R: H, 9; Me, 10; MeO, 11), resulting from the decoordination of the [(eta5-C5H5)Fe]+ moiety of complexes 5+PF6--7+PF6-, were also isolated. For comparative studies, the crystalline and molecular structure of complex 10.Et2O was also determined by X-ray diffraction analysis and its electronic structure computed.  相似文献
