The influence of the boundary conditions on the two-dimensional gas velocity distribution in nuclear-pumped flowing-gas laser cells is considered for low energy deposits. It is demonstrated that, for any boundary conditions, the two-dimensional flow separates into two quasi-one-dimensional components and the size of the area of influence of the boundary conditions is comparable to the laser cell width.  相似文献

The distribution of the two-dimensional gas velocity inside ion-irradiated laser cells is considered for low ion energy deposits into the gas. It is shown that, if the energy deposit is smoothly nonuniform, the twodimensional motion has two quasi-one-dimensional components: the longitudinal gas velocity is practically uniform across the cell and depends on the transversely averaged energy deposit, while the transverse velocity component depends on the difference between the local energy deposit and energy deposit averaged over the transverse direction.  相似文献

Optical nonuniformities in the nuclear-pumped gas lasers are calculated. The nonuniformities are formed due to inhomogeneous energy deposition by the fission fragments from thin plane uranium layers that irradiate the laser active gas. Experiments on the lifetime of a CuBr laser with flowing neon as a buffer gas are reported. The CuBr laser with a discharge tube of inner diameter 18 mm, electrode separation 465 mm at an average output power of 3 W, an efficiency of 0.4% for a lifetime of 734 h is obtained. In consideration of the flow of the buffer gas and combined structure of the discharge tube we have achieved prolongation of the laser lifetime.  相似文献

针对激光对熔石英材料产生致燃损伤过程中存在的激光支持燃烧波,考虑激光作用的温度残余、目标形貌的改变、喷溅物质分布、目标表面气流状况的分布等效应,分阶段对激光支持燃烧波的过程进行建模和仿真研究.通过建立二维轴对称气体动力学模型,模拟研究包含逆韧致辐射、热辐射、热传导和对流过程在内的激光能量传输过程.此外,依据激光支持燃烧波在可见光波段具有明显的辐射特征这一特点,利用阴影法测量了激光对熔石英致燃损伤过程中的燃烧波扩展速度,得到了燃烧波演化过程图像.研究结果表明:在平行激光束作用下,燃烧波的传播是稳态的,气体动力学行为比较稳定;在聚焦激光束作用下,燃烧波的传播是非稳态的.模拟结果中得到的激光支持燃烧波扩展速度及气体动力学结构与实验结果和理论推导结果符合得很好,验证了理论模型的正确性.  相似文献

本文研究了DCM染料激光激发下的HoP5O14非晶在370-580nm兰绿波段上的转换发光的动力学过程,发现离子间能量传递上转换和步进双光子吸收两种要理都共同参与导致了它们的转换发光,而激发光频率的稍微改变会使其上转换动力学发生很大变化。  相似文献

We have studied the photolysis of molybdenum hexacarbonyl by focused excimer laser radiation. It was found that electronically excited Mo atoms detected in the focus region of a KrF laser are due to a direct two photon absorption transition. The upper limit of the energy for complete dissociation of Mo(CO)6 has been derived from these results. Two photon dissociation in the gas phase should be the dominant process at metal film deposition on substrates positioned perpendicularly and near to the focus. Adding buffer gases to the organometallic vapor particle formation was observed in the whole irradiated gas volume. The analysis of scattered He-Ne laser light yields information about the density and size of these particles. It is shown experimentally that an increase in the lasing mixture residence time in the case of a laser module over 60–120 min prior to an experiment elevates the lasing threshold and deteriorates the energy parameter of the laser. The worsening of the energy parameters of the laser may be due to accumulation of impurity gases. It is shown that the presence of impurities affects the working characteristics of the laser media under investigation to various extents.  相似文献

The operation of a master laser with solar excitation, using the mixture Br2-CO2-He and emitting at the wavelength = 10.6 um of the C02 molecules, is theoretically analyzed. The dependences of the relative values of the gain, lasing power, and efficiency for direct conversion of sunlight into laser energy are calculated. It is shown that at a 50-fold solar-energy flux concentration and for a round trip of this flux through a cell with cross section 10 x 1 cm, the attainable gain, lasing power, and efficiency are, respectively, 8.10-5 cm-1, 1 W/m, and 1%.Translated from Trudy Fizicheskogo Instituta im. A dynamic herding model with interactions of trading volumes is introduced. At time t, an agent trades with a probability, which depends on the ratio of the total trading volume at time t−1 to its own trading volume at its last trade. The price return is determined by the volume imbalance and number of trades. The model can reproduce the power-law distributions of the trading volume, number of trades and price return, and the probable relation between them. The exponents are tunable by adjusting the values of the parameters, but show slight deviation from those revealed in empirical studies. Moreover, the time series generated are long-range correlated. We demonstrate that the results are rather robust, and do not depend on the particular form of the trading probability.  相似文献

The operating characteristics of a small self-heated copper halide laser (=510.6 and 578.2 nm) are described, where the copper lasant atoms are produced by electric-discharge dissociation of copper bromide that is generatedin situ by flowing Ne-HBr gas mixture over copper pieces in the laser tube. The excitation technique permits fast startup (<1 min to laser oscillation from cold), and rapid and simple control of the CuBr vapour pressure, simultaneously introducing H2 to increase the efficiency. Specific laser output energies and average powers of 12J cm–3 and 195 mW cm–3, respectively, are almost a factor of 2 higher than those previously reported in the literature for multi-kilohertz copper bromide lasers. A maximum power of 7.8 W was obtained from the 40 cm3 active region. At its highest efficiency (0.8%) the laser produced 6.1 W.  相似文献

In real complex systems, the limited storage capacity of physical devices often results in the loss of data. We study the effect of buffer size on packet loss threshold in scale-free networks. A new order parameter is proposed to characterize the packet loss threshold. Our results show that the packet loss threshold can be optimized with a relative small buffer size. Meanwhile, a large buffer size will increase the travel time. Furthermore, we propose a Buffered-Shortest-Path-First(BSPF) queuing strategy. Compared to the traditional First-In-First-Out(FIFO) strategy, BSPF can not only increase the packet loss threshold but can also significantly decrease the travel length and travel time in both identical and heterogeneous node capacity cases. Our study will help to improve the traffic performance in finite buffer networks.  相似文献

Multiscale dislocation dynamics plasticity (MDDP) was used to investigate shock-induced deformation in monocrystalline copper. In order to enhance the numerical simulations, a periodic boundary condition was implemented in the continuum finite element (FE) scale so that the uniaxial compression of shocks could be attained. Additionally, lattice rotation was accounted for by modifying the dislocation dynamics (DD) code to update the dislocations’ slip systems. The dislocation microstructures were examined in detail and a mechanism of microband formation is proposed for single- and multiple-slip deformation. The simulation results show that lattice rotation enhances microband formation in single slip by locally reorienting the slip plane. It is also illustrated that both confined and periodic boundary conditions can be used to achieve uniaxial compression; however, a periodic boundary condition yields a disturbed wave profile due to edge effects. Moreover, the boundary conditions and the loading rise time show no significant effects on shock–dislocations interaction and the resulting microstructures. MDDP results of high strain rate calculations are also compared with the predictions of the Armstrong–Zerilli model of dislocation generation and movement. This work confirms that the effect of resident dislocations on the strain rate can be neglected when a homogeneous nucleation mechanism is included.  相似文献

A wide-aperture copper vapour laser was demonstrated at ∼10 kHz rep-rate with hydrogen additive in its buffer gas. Maximum power in excess of ∼50 W (at 10 kHz) was achieved by adding 1.96% hydrogen to the neon buffer gas at 20 mbar total gas pressure. This increase in output power was about 70% as compared to ∼30 W achieved with pure neon at 5.5 kHz rep-rate. The 70% enhancement achieved was significantly higher than the maximum reported value of 50% so far in the literature. The enhancement was much higher (about 150%) as compared to its 20 W power at 10 kHz rep-rate using pure neon as the standard CVL operation.  相似文献

We present the results of the detailed experimental study of multiple ionization of Ne and Ar by 25 and 7 fs laser pulses. Whereas in multiple ionization of Ar different mechanisms, involving field ionization steps and recollision-induced excitations, play a role, for Ne only one channel, where the highly correlated instantaneous emission of up to four electrons is triggered by a recollisional electron impact, is found to be important. Using few-cycle pulses we are able to suppress those processes that occur on time scales longer than one laser cycle.  相似文献
