After earlier unsuccessful attempts, this work reports the application of covalent templating for the synthesis of mechanically interlocked molecules (MiMs) bearing no supramolecular recognition sites. Two linear strands were covalently connected in a perpendicular fashion by a central ketal linkage. After subsequent attachment of the first strand to a template via temporary benzylic linkages, the second was linked to the template in a backfolding macrocyclization. The resulting pseudo[1]rotaxane structure was successfully converted to a [2]catenane via a second macrocyclization and cleavage of the ketal and temporary linkages.  相似文献

Dimeric, trimeric, and tetrameric cyclic [2]catenanes have been prepared directly through one‐pot sodium‐ion‐templated dynamic imine formation from a diamine and a tetraaldehyde. NaBH4 mediated reduction of the labile imino bonds of these cyclic [2]catenane oligomers, followed by methylation of the resulting secondary amino groups enabled the isolation and characterization of oligomeric cyclic [2]catenanes as stable, covalently linked compounds.  相似文献

利用二甘醇为原料,以对甲苯磺酸为催化剂合成了1,4-二氧六环。结果表明:二甘醇(200mmol)在对甲苯磺酸(20mmol)作用下反应20min,产品收率75%。此法操作方便,反应温和。  相似文献

The synthesis of a novel pH‐sensitive hetero[4]rotaxane molecular machine through a self‐sorting strategy is reported. The original tetra‐interlocked molecular architecture combines a [c2]daisy chain scaffold linked to two [2]rotaxane units. Actuation of the system through pH variation is possible thanks to the specific interactions of the dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 (DB24C8) macrocycles for ammonium, anilinium, and triazolium molecular stations. Selective deprotonation of the anilinium moieties triggers shuttling of the unsubstituted DB24C8 along the [2]rotaxane units.  相似文献

The first anion‐templated synthesis of a lanthanide‐containing interlocked molecule is demonstrated by utilizing a nitrite anion to template initial pseudorotaxane formation. Subsequent stoppering of the interpenetrated assembly allows for the preparation of a lanthanide‐functionalized [2]rotaxane in high yield. Following removal of the nitrite anion template, the europium [2]rotaxane host is demonstrated to recognize and sense fluoride selectively.  相似文献

On the attempted synthesis of a series of homo‐ and heterotrimetallic [2]catenanes by the self‐assembly of a 2‐(pyridin‐4‐ylmethyl)‐2,7‐diazapyrenium ligand, (ethylenediamine)palladium(II) or platinum(II) nitrate, and a dioxoaryl bis(N‐monoalkyl‐4,4′‐bipyridinium) salt as building blocks, both the one‐pot direct self‐assembly of the components and the so called “magic ring” approach fail to produce the expected trinuclear [2]catenanes under thermodynamically driven conditions. However, one of the target supramolecules is obtained by following a stepwise protocol, consisting of the threading of a dinuclear PtII metallacycle and the dioxoaryl bis(N‐monoalkyl‐4,4′‐bipyridinium) axle, followed by kinetically controlled PtII‐directed cyclization of the corresponding pseudorotaxane.  相似文献

A novel chiral[4]pseudocatenane 5H(3)[PF(6)](3) was synthesized efficiently by treatment of a solution of chiral triptycene-based tri(crown ether) 1 and three equivalents of a bis[p-(but-3-enyloxy)benzyl]ammonium salt in CH(2)Cl(2) with a Grubbs II catalyst, followed by hydrogenation. It was found that the ammonium groups in 5H(3)[PF(6)](3) could be deprotonated by 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) in acetonitrile or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Consequently, N-acylation of the ammonium groups was easily performed in the presence of DBU, which resulted in a new class of neutral highly ordered interlocked molecules in good yields. In particular, the incorporation of stopper units, for example, diethyl phosphoramidate, lead to the isolation of the interlocked molecule 10 with an interesting ship's wheel-like structure, which was structurally studied with the help of detailed NMR experiments. Compared with 1, it was further found that the Cotton effect of (R)-1,1'-binaphthyl chromophore at 241 nm was greatly reduced in 5H(3)[PF(6)](3) and its derivatives. Moreover, a new positive Cotton effect at 248 nm appeared in the interlocked molecules; this observation could be attributed to the chirality transfer from the binaphthyl units to the macrocycles lying in the cavities of 1.  相似文献

A rotaxane containing a ruthenium bisphenanthroline complex, acting as an axis, and a macrocycle incorporating a 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) unit, threaded by the axis, has been synthesized. The bisphenanthroline ligand is such that its ruthenium(II) complexes possess a clearly identified axis, making such compounds ideal components of rotaxanes constructed around an octahedral ruthenium(II) center, which serves as a template. The ring is threaded by the axial ruthenium(II) precursor complex, to afford the corresponding pseudorotaxane in moderate yield. The X-ray structure analysis of this compound reveals the threaded nature of the complex. The length of the threaded ring (35 atoms in the periphery) is too short to allow easy threading of the axis through the macrocycle. As a consequence, an isomer is also obtained for which the axial ruthenium complex is attached in an exo fashion. (1)H NMR studies have been carried out, which reveal various conformational equilibria for the pseudorotaxane. Light-induced decoordination of the bpy-containing cyclic fragment was shown to be quantitative and to lead to the free ring and the axial ruthenium(II) complex, regardless of the starting compound (pseudorotaxane or exo isomer). Finally, the real rotaxane could be prepared, although it could not be separated from its exo isomer.  相似文献
