A quantitative analysis of the roots ofAconitum kusnezoffi has been made by a group of mass-spectrometric methods. The structure and configuration of a new homoproaporphine, robustamine cis-N-oxide, isolated fromMerendera robusta (fam. Liliaceae) have been established by spectral characteristics and chemical transformations. The formation and protonation constants of 17 Schiff bases-derived 2-hydroxyaniline with some substituted benzaldehydes, and the stability constants of Cu(II) complexes of these Schiff bases, have been determined potentiometrically in 20, 40, and 60% dioxane–water media. The data from the potentiometric titrations were evaluated with the BEST computer program. For all Schiff bases studied, it was observed that the log KOH values related to the protonation equilibria of the phenolic oxygen are increased, and the log KNH values related to the protonation equilibria of the azomethine nitrogen are decreased, as the dioxane content is increased. The variation of these constants is discussed on the basis of specific solute–solvent interactions and structural changes of Schiff bases from water to the dioxane–water media. Also, titrimetric-pH investigation of substituted benzilidene-2-hydroxyaniline systems has revealed the formation of stable mono-Schiff base complexes with the metal ion Cu(II).  相似文献

The epigeal part ofConvolvulus krauseanus collected in two vegetation periods — flowering and fruit-bearing — has been studied for the first time. Five bases have been isolated. Schiff bases (HL) derived from sulfanilamides or aminobenzothiazoles add to Pd(OAc)2 to give complexes of the type PdL2 (1–7) in moderate to excellent yields. Reactions of Schiff bases containing pyrimidine groups, however, gave several products arising from competing coordination of the pyrimidine nitrogen. Palladium complexes and Schiff bases have been investigated as antifungal agents against Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus.  相似文献

Summary Partial displacement of the symmetrical bis-Schiff bases (1)–(4) of ethylenediamine and salicyladehyde, o-hydroxyacetophenone, acetylacetone or benzoylacetone by dehydroacetic acid have led to the formation and isolation of the unsymmetrical bis-Schiff base ligands (6)–(9). Attempted partial displacements of the symmetrical bis-Schiff base (5) of dehydroacetic acid or (1)–(4) by each of the other four carbonyl compounds have been unsuccessful. The Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes of (6)–(9) have been prepared and characterized.  相似文献

Summary Copper(II) complexes with the Schiff bases derived from Salicylaldehyde and its 5-chloro-, 5-bromo-, 5-nitro-, 3-ethoxy- and 3,5-dichloro derivatives, or from 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde ando-hydroxybenzylamine, have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, i.r. and electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The Schiff bases behave as tridentate dibasic O, N and O donor ligands and form complexes with 11 metal: ligand stoichiometry which exhibit subnormal magnetic moments ( eff=0.88–0.98 B.M.) and are involved in strong antifer-romagnetic exchange (–J=482–525 cm–1). The complexes exhibit a d-d band atca. 1600 cm–1. A dimeric structure with aminophenolic oxygen atoms as the bridging atoms is proposed on the basis of i.r. and magnetic data.  相似文献

Summary The alkaloids ofMerendera iolantae E. Czerniak have been studied for the first time. The total alkaloids consist of tropolone compounds and bases without a tropolone ring. From this plant we isolated the known alkaloids colchicine, colchamine, -lumicolchicine, colchameine, and 2-demethylcolchiceine, and four new, nontropolone, bases — MI-1 (iolantamine), MI-2, MI-3, and MI-4. The presence of colchiceine, 3-demethylcolchamine, and two unknown bases with R f 0.49 and 0.53 was shown by chromatographic methods.A developed formula has been put forward for iolantamine on the basis of its spectral characteristics.V. Summary The qualitative and quantitative changes in the composition of the combined bases inReseda luteola during the vegetation periods have been studied. From the epigeal part of the plant we have isolated cinnamamide and two new alkaloids: lutine and lutinine. The alkaloid nitraraine and four new bases have been isolated for the first time from the epigeal part ofNitraria komarovii. Their structures have been established with the aid of chemical transformations and spectral characteristics: tetrahydronitramarine, tetrahydrokomarovinine, dihydroisokomarovine, and tetrahydroisokomarovine. Passages have been effected to nitramarine, komarovinine, isokomarovinine, and komarovidinine. Tetrahydroisokomarovine is a new alkaloid, while this is the first time that tetrahydronitroamarine, tetrahydrokomarovinine, and dihydroisokomarovine have been found in nature. Summary The syntheses of several new oxovanadium(IV) complexes of new Schiff bases derived from Salicylaldehyde, 5-ch orosalicylaldehyde, 5-bromosalicylaldehyde, 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde, 4-methoxysalicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-l-naphthaldehyde and 3-aminothiophenol are described. The complexes, which are of the VOL2 type, have been characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, i.r. and electronic absorption spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The Schiff bases behave as bidentate ligands and a five-coordinate square-pyramidal structure is suggested for the complexes which exhibit two or three spin-allowed d-d bands atca. 12000, 17000 and 22000 cm–1. The v(V=0) vibration occurs in the 940–980 cm–1. range. The complexes exhibit normal magnetic moments (µeff = 1.71-1.73 B.M.) at room temperature.  相似文献

Summary It has been established that the epigeal part of the plantNitraria schoberi L. in the budding stage contains 0.5% of alkaloids.By a combination of the fractionation of the mixture of alkaloids by polybuffer separation with other methods of separation, nine alkaloids have been isolated and studied.Fractions with a high pH value yielded the following strong bases: nitramine (pH 9 and 8), schoberidine and base A (pH 8), and nitrarine, isonitrarine, and nitramidine (pH 7).
