The superconducting state of W5SiB2 with the T2-phase structure has been investigated by a specific heat measurement and a density of state calculation. The estimated ΔCp/γTc and 2Δ(0)/kBTc values are 1.49 and 3.32, which are close to 1.43 and 3.53 within the weak coupling regime. The electronic specific heat data clearly indicates the absence of gap nodes in the superconducting order parameter, suggesting an isotropic s-wave superconductor. From the density of state calculations, we found that W d-orbital plays an important role for the superconductivity in W5SiB2.  相似文献

Mean field calculations of the Peierls instability have been carried out for arbitrary bandfilling both in the case of free electrons as well as for the tightbinding approximation. New expressions for Δ(0) and Tp are derived which change the experimentally derived λ to a more reasonable value. Δ(0)/kBTp may differ significantly from the BCS value 1.76 in the tightbinding approximation.  相似文献

We present the first numerical computation of the neutral fermion gap, Δ(F), in the ν=5/2 quantum Hall state, which is analogous to the energy gap for a Bogoliubov-de Gennes quasiparticle in a superconductor. We find Δ(F)≈0.027e(2)/ε?(0), comparable to the charge gap. We also deduce an effective Fermi velocity v(F) for neutral fermions from the low-energy spectra for odd numbers of electrons, and thereby obtain a correlation length ξ(F)=v(F)/Δ(F)≈1.3?(0). We comment on implications for experiments, topological quantum information processing, and electronic mechanisms of superconductivity.  相似文献

A detailed investigation of multiband superconductivity and Leggett’s mode in the Mg1?x AlxB2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.45) system was carried out using tunneling and Andreev spectroscopy. Temperature dependences of superconducting gaps Δσ and Δπ and their variation upon the degree of disorder and the Al concentration were studied. The dependence of the Leggett’s mode energy ε0 upon the values of the gaps Δσ and Δπ has been derived.  相似文献

The e + e ?→π0π0 γreaction was studied in the energy range 0.36–0.97 GeV on a VEPP-2M e + e ? collider with an SND detector. The decay probabilities were found to be B(ω→ π0π0γ)= (7.8 ±2.7±2.0)×10?5 and B(π→ π0π0γ)= (4.8 ?1.8 +3.4 ±0.2)×10?5.  相似文献

The metal-to-insulator transition in V2O3 is described by a model that is based on the electronic band structure of this material. The vanadium 3d-t 2g band decomposes in the trigonal symmetry into two bands, a 1g and e π. The a 1g band consists of orbitals connecting pairs of c-axis neighbouring atoms, while the e π band consists of orbitals in the plane perpendicular to the c-axis. The change in distance between c-axis neighbours changes the nature of the a 1g band from molecular (delocalized) to atomic (localized). The localization of the a 1g electrons causes through the atomic exchange interaction also the localization of the e π electrons, and this localization creates a gap in the e π band which causes the material to become insulating. This model is treated in the Hartree-Fock approximation (the ‘Excitonic’ model) at zero and finite temperatures, and various aspects of the transition, such as changes in the c/a ratio, the creation of magnetic moments, changes in covalency, the effect of pressure and the order of the transition, are investigated.  相似文献

The metal- insulator transition and superconductivity of amorphous Si1−xAux was studied by tunneling measurements. A zero bias anomaly was observed in the density of states in the normal state, in agreement with the theory of electron interaction. The energy gap was obtained in the superconducting state. The value of the energy gap at 0 K, Δ0 was found smaller than 1.76 kBTC predicted by the BCS theory.  相似文献

The reaction e + e ?→ωπ0 near a Φ resonance was studied with a spherical neutral detector at VEPP-2M e + e ? collider. Both main modes of decay of a ω meson were investigated: ω→π+π?π0 and ω→π 0γ. The probability of decay Φ→ωπ0 was obtained from the magnitude of the interference wave in the cross section for the reaction e + e ?→ωπ0→ π+π?π0π0: B(Φ→ωπ0) = (5.5 ?1.4 +1.6 ±0.3) ×10?5. The ratio of the partial widths of the ω meson was obtained from the ratio of the cross sections for the two modes: Γ(ω→π0γ )/Γ(ω→π+π?π0) = 0.0994 ± 0.0036 ± 0.0038.  相似文献

The correlation function formula for the dynamic conductivity of a system of non-interacting electrons in the field of impurities is analyzed in terms of proper connected diagrams. By selecting those diagrams appropriate in the region of weak coupling and low impurity concentration, a set of coupled equations for the energy broadening γ (ω, ε, ns) and the energy shift Δ(ω, ε, ns) is derived, where both γ and Δ depend on the frequency ω of a probing field, the energy ε of the electron, and the concentration, ng, of impurities. With the assumption of a finite range potential, these equations are solved. It is found that γ (ω, ns) is smaller than that extrapolated value which the conventional expression γ0 for the low-concentration collision frequency would predict, in the entire region studied, that the difference γ0-γ becomes appreciable when the ratio of the average time between scatterings, τc, to the average duration of a scattering, τd, is 100 or less, that γ (ω, ns) decreases monotonically from its static value γ (0, ns), and becomes vanishingly small in the region ω≈1/τd, and that in the static limit (ω=0), γ=γ0[1?(2/π) (γ0τd)+…], that the energy shift Δ is positive, and increases from 0 and reach a peak of magnitude γ0 as ω is raised from 0. By using the γ and Δ obtained, the dynamic conductivity σ(ω, ns) for degenerated electrons is calculated. The deviation, σ-σ0, from the conventional expression σ0=(?i) (nee2/M) [ω-iΓ0]?1, (ne]=number density of electrons), for 0°K, is appreciable when the ratio τcd is 100 or less. The field-term correction, which arises from the modification of the scattering due to the probing field, is found to be negligible in the entire region studied.  相似文献

Synthetic conditions such as stoichiometries, temperature and pressure are optimized to achieve a high quality oxygen deficient SmFeAsO0.6 superconductor. Both electric and magnetic measurements show a sharp superconducting transition at about 55 K. Several important physical parameters are deduced. The apparent superconducting gap observed in heat capacity with 2Δo/kBTc of 4.57 larger than that of previous fluorine replaced samples indicate that this superconductivity will not strongly conflict with the phonon-mediated BCS mechanism. The mean free length ?=18.8 nm and the coherent length ξ=2.3-3.3 nm show that the superconductivity is in the clean limit.  相似文献

New constributions to the KL→π0e+e amplitude are presented. Short-distance penguin induced diagrams for the s→dγ1 transition supplement the previously considered electromagnetic penguin. The new CP-violating amplitude corresponds to a new piece of the relevant anomalous dimension matrix. Strong interaction corrections to the new part of the effective hamiltonian are calculated in the leading logarithmic approximation. The role of subleading terms is also discussed.  相似文献

We discuss QCD predictions for the production of direct photons ine + e ? collisions,e + e ?→ γ*→γ+ hadrons (C=+). A simple derivation of the QCD results for the structure functions is presented. These turn out to be exactly predicted by the theory, in contrast to hadron production where only the change withQ 2 is predictable. We also take up the phenomenology of this process. A dramatic rise of the γ/π0 ratio withz=E γ/E B (E π/E B ) and withQ 2 is predicted.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of heat treatment and the Ge substitution in place of Si in the recently discovered heavy-fermion superconductor CePt3Si. The annealed CePt3Si exhibited nonmagnetic heavy-fermion behavior instead of the antiferromagnetism (AF) found in quenched samples. The AF state was destroyed by only about 1 at.% of Ge-substitution and may not be a stable phase. Specific-heat measurements on the annealed CePt3Si and the Ge-substituted samples revealed a large hump around 2.2 K, originally claimed as Néel temperature. Its true nature is not clarified yet but conjectured at present as a sort of quadrupolar transition rather than AF long-range order. The superconducting transition around 0.75 K was equally sharp with ΔCp/γTc=0.7 for clean quenched and annealed samples. The interplay between the 2.2 K-anomaly and the superconductivity is discussed.  相似文献

The radiative decay models of the φ-meson have been studied: e+e?φηγ→3γ; e+e?φπoγ→3γ. Cross sections σφηγ→3γ and σφπoγ→3γ have been measured at five energies in the φ-meson energy region and clearly show the φ-resonance in the ηγ → 3γ mode as well as in the πoγ → 3γ mode. From a Breit-Wigner fit to the experimental data the values of the branching ratios are deduced: Bφηγ = (1.5 ± 0.4) × 10?2; Bφπoγ = (1.4 ± 0.5) × 10?3.  相似文献

The process e + e ? → η′γ, η′ → η π0π0, η → γγ is investigated by an SND detector in experiment on a VEPP-2M equipment with colliding electron-positron beams. The analysis of experimental data yields a value of B(? → η′γ)=(6.7 ?4.2 +5.0 ±1.5)×10?5 for the decay probability. Taking into account a previous measurement of this quantity by an SND detector in the decay channel η′ → π+π?η, one finally obtains B(?→η ′γ)=(6.7 ?2.4 +2.8 ±0.8)×10?5.  相似文献

The nuclear spin-electron coupling of copper has been determined by establishing stationary temperature differences between nuclei and electrons at electronic temperatures of 15 K to 5 mK in magnetic fields of 2 mT to 440 mT using a well-defined heat flow from the electrons to the nuclear spin system. The measured Korringa constantk increases proportional toB/T e 2 with decreasing electronic temperatureT e and with increasing magnetic fieldB. At the lowest temperaturesk is more than an order of magnitude larger than its high temperature value.  相似文献

We present a general framework for the model-independent decomposition of the fully differential cross section of the reactions e + e ?γ ?π 0 π 0 γ and e + e ?γ ?π 0 η γ, which can provide important information on the properties of scalar mesons: f 0(600), f 0(980) and a 0(980). For the model-dependent ingredients in the differential cross section, an approach is developed, which relies on Resonance Chiral Theory with vector and scalar mesons. Numerical results are compared to data. The framework is convenient for development of a Monte Carlo generator and can also be applied to the reaction e + e ?γ ?π + π ? γ.  相似文献

We calculated the ratio 2(0)/k BTc within the Eliashberg theory for a two dimensional (2D) high temperature superconductor.
