The purpose of this paper is to present a fast algorithm for the numerical solution of the one-dimensional obstacle problem. An initial problem is considered for an ordinary singularly perturbed integro-differential equation with a nonlinear integral Fredholm operator. The case when the reduced equation has a smooth solution is investigated, and the solution to the reduced equation with a corner point is analyzed. The asymptotics of the solution to the Cauchy problem is constructed by the method of boundary functions. The asymptotics is validated by the asymptotic method of differential inequalities developed for a new class of problems.  相似文献

This paper investigates the existence of positive solutions of a singular boundary value problem with negative exponent similar to standard Emden-Fowler equation. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of C[0, 1] positive solutions as well as C1[0, 1] positive solutions is given by means of the method of lower and upper solutions with the Schauder fixed point theorem.  相似文献

We derive a nonlinear partial differential equation for the convex envelope of a given function. The solution is interpreted as the value function of an optimal stochastic control problem. The equation is solved numerically using a convergent finite difference scheme.

We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a kind of quasilinear stochastic integral-partial differential equations with obstacles. Our method is based on the probabilistic interpretation of the solutions so that penalization method can be applied to a sequence of backward doubly stochastic differential equations with jumps. This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of solutions for the quasilinear parabolic systems with mixed quasimonotone reaction functions, the elliptic operators in which are allowed to be degenerate. By the method of the coupled upper and lower solutions, and its monotone iterations, it shows that a pair of coupled upper and lower solutions ensures that the unique positive solution exists and globally stable if the quasisolutions are equal. We study the linearizability and stability of a nonautonomous dynamical system in the neighborhood of a neutral fixed point. Our results generalize the classical results of Schröder and Siegel in the case when the linear part of the mapping is an irrational rotation, well known results in the rational case and the fundamental result on the representation of the system as a translation in the neighborhood of a fixed point at infinity.  相似文献

利用微分不等式理论,研究了某一类三阶奇摄动非线性边值问题。以二阶边值问题的已知结果为基础,引入Volterra型积分算子,建立了三阶非线性边值问题的上下解方法。在适当条件下,构造出具体的上下解,得出解的存在性和渐进估计。结果表明这种技巧也为三阶奇摄动边值问题的研究提出了崭新的思路。最后举例验证文中定理的正确性。  相似文献

本文首先研究一类新的向量均衡问题,利用截口定理与KKM定理两种不同的工具证明此类均衡问题解的存在性,接着,把这类向量均衡问题推广到更为一般的情形,随后讨论了具有上下界的均衡问题,它是由Isac,Sehgal和Singh于1999年提出的一个公开问题,本文在一定条件下获得了一个新的解的存在性定理,并构造了一个迭代算法,讨论了算法的收敛性。  相似文献
