The present paper describes various attractive logical code conversions using optical micro-ring resonator. We have proposed an all-optical switching activity using silicon waveguide based micro-ring resonator under low-power operation through two-photon absorption effect. The different properties of the optical switch are analyzed through numerical simulation. We have also proposed and described all-optical binary-to-octal, binary-coded-decimal-to-excess-3 and binary-to-Gray-code converter circuits by this proposed architecture. Numerical simulation results for code conversion verifying the proposed methods are given in this paper. We identify a combination of feasible ring radius and detuning through numerical simulation that allows analyzing the system performance of the scheme. 相似文献

The dynamical behaviours of valley current controlled buck
converter are studied by establishing its corresponding discrete
iterative map model in this paper. Time-domain waveforms and phase
portraits of valley current controlled buck converter are obtained
by Runge--Kutta algorithm through a piecewise smooth switching
model. The research results indicate that the valley current
controlled buck converter exhibits rich nonlinear phenomena, and it
has routes to chaos through period-doubling bifurcation and
border-collision bifurcation in a wide parameter range. Interesting
inverse nonlinear behaviours compared with peak current controlled
buck converter are observed in the valley current controlled buck
converter. Analysis and simulation results are verified by

Using Monte Carlo simulation, this paper explores the passing of gamma radiation through biological thin layers. In radiobiological experiments, this method of investigation simulates the conditions for determining the relative biological effectiveness (RBE). X-ray spectra from X-ray tubes, which are often used in such experiments, are simulated in this paper. The RBE is determined as the ratio of absorption doses, when the number of ionization events is equal for gamma and X-ray radiation. The results of the estimates are represented for the modeling of X-ray spectra in the case of irradiation of biological layers of different thicknesses. 相似文献

Vias passing through multilayered boards are studied by using microwave network theory and antenna theory. By means of suitable electromagnetic simulations, the propagation parameters of vias are computed accurately. The results are then organized into a form of a look-up table so that some interpolation algorithm could be used. Compared with the direct numerical simulation, this kind of process could save much time and space resource, and its results are fairly good as shown in this paper. Impulsive motion of a flexible, beam-like arm is investigated in this paper. The arm is attached to an inertial system through a revolute joint. A modelling approach and an analytical solution are outlined for this problem. Comparisons are presented between analytical and numerical solutions. This work introduces a numerical algorithm to calculate frequency response functions of damped finite element models with fuzzy uncertain parameters. Part 1 of this paper focusses on the numerical procedure for the solution of the underlying interval finite element problem, based on the undamped procedure and the principle of Rayleigh damping. Part 2 of this paper illustrates the applicability of the methodology through four case studies. The concepts of the interval and the fuzzy finite element frequency response function analysis are illustrated for different types of uncertainties. The obtained results are compared with the results of Monte Carlo simulations. 相似文献

Images obtained through stationary phase-distorting media are investigated in this paper. It is shown that the quality of the recorded images depends on the conditions of light beam limitation. Qualitative results and quantitative dependences of the contrast of the image being recorded through a phase-distorting medium on the magnitude of the aperture orifice are presented. A method is proposed for improving the image quality of objects being recorded through smooth phase-distorting stationary media, which is efficient for both coherent and noncoherent exposure. 相似文献

The spectral properties of the Perron–Frobenius operator of the one-dimensional maps are studied by using the moment. In this
paper we make an investigation into the properties of self-similar measures related to the theory of orthogonal polynomials.
Numerical investigation of a particular family of maps shows that the spectrum generates the invariant measure. Analytical

This paper proposed a flexible 3D profilometry based on fringe contrast analysis. A series of sinusoidal fringes are projected on the surface of the testing object that is laid in front of the imaging plane of the fringes, and captured through a beam splitter by a CCD camera in the same direction as the axis of the projection. After the fringe contrast obtained using phase-shifting technique, the height of the object can be restored through searching the look-up table of the contrast and the height. In the measurement process, we only need to capture fringe patterns in one position, without changing the imaging plane of the fringes, so it is faster and more convenient than the existing method based on fringe contrast analysis. Our system is simple and flexible by reason of no special devices used. In this paper, the principle of this method, the setup of the measurement system and primary experiment results are given. The experimental results prove this method can restore the height of the complex object accurately and effectively. 相似文献

This paper develops a modified Tait equation of state(EOS) for trans-decahydronaphthalene with four parameters A,B,V0 and P0 being treated as linear functions of temperature.The coefficients contained in these functions are determined through fitting the experimental compression data in the literature between 293 K and 446 K and at pressures from 10 to 200 MPa.Expressions for the thermal expansivity,isothermal compressibility and thermodynamic quantities are deduced and the numerical results are analytically derived.The numerical results show that the precision of the modified Tait EOS developed in this paper is superior to the EOS in the literature. 相似文献

In this paper, a more generalized beam containing an elegant Hermite Gaussian beam and a cosine Gaussian beam, which is called elegant Hermite cosine Gaussian (EHcoG) beam, is introduced and studied. The propagation properties of the EHcoG laser beams through a first-order paraxial optical system are demonstrated analytically and numerically. The recurrence propagation equations of the EHcoG beams through a first-order paraxial optical system with and without aperture are derived, from which the analytical propagation expression for EHcoG beams of any order can be obtained by means of the recursive procedures. The validity of the analytical results is confirmed by the numerical results. 相似文献
