关于两类特殊图的色多项式唯一性

本文用全新的方法证明了两类图的色多项式唯一性,推广了Beatrice Loe-rine关于广义θ-图的色多项式唯一性的结论。

The Chromaticity of Certain Complete Multipartite Graphs

In this paper, we first establish a useful inequality on the minimum real roots of the adjoint polynomials of the complete graphs. By using it, we investigate the chromatic uniqueness of certain complete multipartite graphs. An unsolved problem (i.e., Problem 11), posed by Koh and Teo in Graph and Combin. 6(1990) 259–285, is completely solved by giving it a positive answer. Moreover, many existing results on the chromatic uniqueness of complete multipartite graphs are generalized.Acknowledgments. Chromatic Uniqueness of the Complement of T_m(l, 4, m - 6)

In the paper, we prove that the complement of Tm(1,4,m - 6)(m > 10) is chromatically unique if and only if m ≠5k(k ≥ 2).     

Chromaticity of complete 6-partite graphs with certain star or matching deleted II

Let P(G,λ) be the chromatic polynomial of a graph G. Two graphs G and H are said to be chromatically equivalent, denoted G～H, if P(G,λ)=P (H,λ). We write [G]={H|H～G}. If[G]={G}, then G is said to be chromatically unique. In this paper, we first characterize certain complete 6-partite graphs with 6n+1 vertices according to the number of 7-independent partitions of G. Using these results, we investigate the chromaticity of G with certain star or matching deleted. As a by-product, many new families of chromatically unique complete 6-partite graphs with certain star or matching deleted are obtained.     

一类Kn-同胚图色等价类的结构特征
