In terms of effective field theory and mixed-propagator approach, we show that there is a larger hidden effect of isospin breaking in ρ→πγ decay due to a ω exchange, ρ→ω→πγ. The branching ratio is predicted as B(ρ→πγ) = (11.67±2.0)×10-4, which is much larger than Particle Data Group's datum (6.8±1.7)×10-4 and one of charged mode, B±→π±γ) = (4.5±0.5)×10-4. We eliminate by KAM methods the time dependence in a class of linear differential equations in ℓ2 subject to an unbounded, quasi-periodic forcing. This entails the pure-point nature of the Floquet spectrum of the operator H 0Pt) for ε small. Here H 0 is the one-dimensional Schr?dinger operator p 2+V, V(x)∼|x|α, α <2 for |x|→∞, the time quasi-periodic perturbation P may grow as |x|β, β <(α−2)/2, and the frequency vector ω is non resonant. The proof extends to infinite dimensional spaces the result valid for quasiperiodically forced linear differential equations and is based on Kuksin's estimate of solutions of homological equations with non-constant coefficients. The branching ratios and photon spectra of the rare processes ρ(ω) → π 0 π 0 γ, ρ(ω) → ηπ 0 γ are calculated in the framework of the standard local quark Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Three types of diagrams are considered: the quark box and the pole diagrams with scalar (σ, α 0(980)) and vector (ρ, ω) mesons. The obtained estimates for the widths of the processes ρ(ω) → π 0 π 0 γ are in satisfactory agreement with existing experimental data. Predictions are made for the widths of the processes ρ(ω) → ηπ 0 γ. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

A pronounced step-like (kink) behavior in the temperature dependence of resistivity ρ(T) is observed in the optimally doped Sm1.85Ce0.15CuO4 thin films around T sf = 87 K and attributed to the manifestation of strong-spin fluctuations induced by Sm3+ moments with the energy ħωsf = k B T sf ≃ 7 meV. The experimental data are found to be well fitted by the residual (zero-temperature) ρres, electron-phonon ρe-ph(T) = AT, and electron-electron ρe-e(T) = BT 2 contributions in addition to the fluctuation-induced contribution ρsf(T) due to thermal broadening effects (of the width ωsf). According to the best fit, the plasmon frequency, impurity scattering rate, electron-phonon coupling constant, and Fermi energy are estimated as ωp = 2.1 meV, τ 0 −1 = 9.5 × 10−14 s−1, λ = 1.2, and E F = 0.2 eV, respectively. In this paper the procedure of large-scale averaging of the magnetic-field diffusion equation with the α-term curlα(r,t)B(r,t) is used to show that a nonuniform distribution of the turbulent helicity fluctuations (more precisely, the fluctuations of the coefficient α) with a zero average value gives rise to large-scale amplification of the initial magnetic field. A detailed study is carried out of the dependence of the resulting large-scale α effect on the characteristics of the correlator 〈〈α(r, t)α(r″,t″)〉〉 in a rotating medium with a nonuniform distribution of the angular velocity ω=ω(ρ,z) (ρ is the distance for the rotation axis z). The effect of helicity fluctuations and the diffusion coefficient on the turbulent diffusion process is also investigated. Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 116, 85–104 (July 1999)  相似文献

A scenario that removes the contradiction between the suppression of the η(1475) → γγ decay width and the strong coupling of η(1475) to the ρρ, ωω, and γρ0 channels and which leads to a nontrivial prediction for the manifestation of η(1475) in γγ*(Q 2) collisions is considered. Data on the dependence of the cross section for the reaction γγ*(Q 2) → K[`(K)]pK\bar K\pi on the photon virtuality in the energy range 1.35–1.55 GeV are explained here by the production of an η(1475) resonance in contrast to their standard interpretation in terms of the f 1(1420) resonance. Experimental verification of the present explanation requires determining the spin-parity of resonance contributions, R, in the reactions γγ*(Q 2) RRK[`(K)]pK\bar K\pi and J/ψ → γR → γ(γρ0, γϕ).  相似文献

Two metastable states of a multilayer Ge/p-Ge1−x Six heterosystem with wide (∼ 35 nm) potential wells (Ge) are observed in strong magnetic fields B at low temperatures. In the first state, the Hall resistivity exhibits an inflection near the value ρxy=h/e 2 scaled to one Ge layer. The longitudinal magnetoresistivity ρxx(B) possesses a minimum in the range of fields where this inflection occurs. The temperature evolution of the inflection in ρxy(B), the minimum of ρ xx(B), and the value of ρxy at the inflection indicates a weakly expressed state of the quantum Hall effect with a uniform current distribution over the layers. In the second metastable state, an unusually wide plateau near h/2e 2 with a very weak field dependence is observed in ρxy(B). Estimates show that in these samples the Fermi level lies below but close to the top of the inflection in the bottom of the well. For this reason, the second state can be explained by separation of a hole gas in the Ge layers into two sublayers, and the saturation of ρxy(B) near h/2e 2 can be explained by the formation of a quantum Hall insulator state. Transport and dielectric properties of polycrystalline CoO films were studied as functions of the applied field, frequency and temperature. TheI–V plots showed that the Poole-Frenkel field emission mechanism is responsible for conduction at fields>105 V/cm. The ac conductivity σ(ω), the imaginary part of the dielectric constantε 2, and tan δ plots as functions of frequency revealed three dispersion regions. The σ(ω) andε 2 frequency dependence indicates a non-adiabatic hopping of charge carriers at low frequencies and adiabatic hopping at high frequencies. The activation energy of a dielectric oscillator is 0.15 eV. Work supported by the Office of Naval Research.  相似文献

A ππ, ˉKK, and ρρ(ωω) fully coupled channel model is used to predict the lowest isospin S, P, D, F-wave phase shifts and inelasticities for elastic ππ scattering from threshold to 2.0 GeV. As input the S-matrix is required to exhibit poles corresponding to the meson resonance table of the Particle Data Group. As expected, the ππ inelasticity is very strongly related to the opening of the ˉK channel near 1 GeV, and the opening of ρρ(4π) and ωω(6π) channels in the 1.5 GeV region. The predictions of this model are compared to the various elastic ππ→ππ amplitudes, that were obtained from analyses of π p →ππ+n data. The role of the various resonances, in particular the glueball candidate f 0(1500) and the f J(1710) is investigated. Received: 19 November 1997  相似文献

It might be expected that trajectories of a dynamical system which has no negative Lyapunov exponent (implying exponential growth of small separations) will not cluster together. However, clustering can occur such that the density ρ(Δx) of trajectories within distance |Δx| of a reference trajectory has a power-law divergence, so that ρ(Δx) ∼ |Δx| β when |Δx| is sufficiently small, for some 0 < β < 1. We demonstrate this effect using a random map in one dimension. We find no evidence for this effect in the chaotic logistic map, and argue that the effect is harder to observe in deterministic maps.  相似文献

Isospin-violating mixing of ρ- and ω-mesons is reconsidered in terms of propagators. Its influence on various pairs of (ρ,ω)-decays to the same final states is demonstrated. Some of them, (ρ,ω)↦π+π- and (ρ,ω)↦πγ, have been earlier discussed in the literature, others (e.g., (ρ,ω)↦ηγ and (ρ,ω)↦e + e -) are new in this context. Changes in partial widths for all the decay pairs are shown to be correlated. The set of present experimental data, though yet inconclusive, provides some limits for the direct (ρω)-coupling and indirectly supports enhancement of ρ↦πγ in comparison with ρ±↦π±γ, though not so large as in some previous estimates. We consider both periodic and quasi-periodic solutions for the standard map, and we study the corresponding conjugating functions, i.e. the functions conjugating the motions to trivial rotations. We compare the invariant curves with rotation numbers ω satisfying the Bryuno condition and the sequences of periodic orbits with rotation numbers given by their convergents ω N = p N /q N . We prove the following results for N→ ∞: (1) for rotation numbers ω N N we study the radius of convergence of the conjugating functions and we find lower bounds on them, which tend to a limit which is a lower bound on the corresponding quantity for ω; (2) the periodic orbits consist of points which are more and more close to the invariant curve with rotation number ω; (3) such orbits lie on analytical curves which tend uniformly to the invariant curve. We find the structure of generators of norm-continuous quantum Markov semigroups on B(h){\mathcal{B}({\rm h})} that are symmetric with respect to the scalar product tr (ρ 1/2 x*ρ 1/2 y) induced by a faithful normal invariant state ρ and satisfy two quantum generalisations of the classical detailed balance condition related with this non-commutative notion of symmetry: the so-called standard detailed balance condition and the standard detailed balance condition with an antiunitary time reversal.  相似文献

Radiative decays π 0(π 0′) → γ + γ, π 0′ρ 0(ω) + γ, ρ 0′(ω′) → π 0 + γ, ρ 0′(ω′) → π 0′ + γ, and some processes of π 0′ production at lepton colliders are considered in the framework of the nonlocal SU(2) × SU(2) Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Mixing of the radially excited and the ground meson states is taken into account. Numerical results for the decay and production processes are presented.  相似文献

The correlation of the local density of states 〈ρɛ(r 1ɛ + ω(r 2)〉 in quasi-one-dimensional disordered wires in a magnetic field is calculated under the assumption that |r 1r 2| is much smaller than the localization length. This amounts to finding the zero mode of the transfer-matrix Hamiltonian for the supersymmetric σ model, which is done exactly by mapping to the three-dimensional Coulomb problem. Both the regimes of level repulsion and level attraction are obtained, depending on |r 1r 2|. We demonstrate that the correlations of different eigenfunctions in the quasi-one-dimensional and strictly one-dimensional cases are dissimilar. The electronic and optical properties of InAs in core-level spectra are calculated using the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbitials (FP-LAPW +lo) method. The real and imaginary parts of the dielectric function ε(ω), the optical absorption coefficient I(ω), the reflectivity R(ω), the refractive index n(ω), and the extinction coefficient k(ω)are calculated. All these values are in good agreement with the experimental data. The effect of spin-orbit coupling on optical properties is also investigated and found to be quite small.   相似文献

Consider a mixed quantum mechanical state, describing a statistical ensemble in terms of an arbitrary density operator ρ of low purity, tr ρ 2 1, and yielding the ensemble averaged expectation value tr (ρ A) for any observable A. Assuming that the given statistical ensemble ρ is generated by randomly sampling pure states |ψ〉 according to the corresponding so-called Gaussian adjusted projected measure (Goldstein et al. in J. Stat. Phys. 125:1197, 2006), the expectation value 〈ψ|A|ψ〉 is shown to be extremely close to the ensemble average tr (ρ A) for the overwhelming majority of pure states |ψ〉 and any experimentally realistic observable A. In particular, such a ‘typicality’ property holds  whenever the Hilbert space ℋ of the system contains a high dimensional subspace ℋ+⊂ℋ with the property that all |ψ〉∈ℋ+ are realized with equal probability and all other |ψ〉∈ℋ are excluded.  相似文献

We consider a Kondo impurity coupled to a fermionic host with a power-law density of states near the Fermi level, ρ(ε) ∼ |ε|r, with exponent r < 0. Using both perturbative renormalization group (poor man's scaling) and numerical renormalization group methods, we analyze the phase diagram of this model for ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic Kondo coupling. Both sectors display non-trivial behavior with several stable phases separated by continuous transitions. In particular, on the ferromagnetic side there is a stable intermediate-coupling fixed point with universal properties corresponding to a fractional ground-state spin.
