The MP2 (the second-order M?ller-Plesset calculation) and CCSD(T) (coupled cluster calculation with single and double substitutions with noniterative triple excitations) interaction energies of all-trans n-alkane dimers were calculated using Dunning's [J. Chem. Phys. 90, 1007 (1989)] correlation consistent basis sets. The estimated MP2 interaction energies of methane, ethane, and propane dimers at the basis set limit [EMP2(limit)] by the method of Helgaker et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 106, 9639 (1997)] from the MP2/aug-cc-pVXZ (X=D and T) level interaction energies are very close to those estimated from the MP2/aug-cc-pVXZ (X=T and Q) level interaction energies. The estimated EMP2(limit) values of n-butane to n-heptane dimers from the MP2/cc-pVXZ (X=D and T) level interaction energies are very close to those from the MP2/aug-cc-pVXZ (X=D and T) ones. The EMP2(limit) values estimated by Feller's [J. Chem. Phys. 96, 6104 (1992)] method from the MP2/cc-pVXZ (X=D, T, and Q) level interaction energies are close to those estimated by the method of Helgaker et al. from the MP2/cc-pVXZ (X=T and Q) ones. The estimated EMP2(limit) values by the method of Helgaker et al. using the aug-cc-pVXZ (X=D and T) are close to these values. The estimated EMP2(limit) of the methane, ethane, propane, n-butane, n-pentane, n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, n-nonane, and n-decane dimers by the method of Helgaker et al. are -0.48, -1.35, -2.08, -2.97, -3.92, -4.91, -5.96, -6.68, -7.75, and -8.75 kcal/mol, respectively. Effects of electron correlation beyond MP2 are not large. The estimated CCSD(T) interaction energies of the methane, ethane, propane, and n-butane dimers at the basis set limit by the method of Helgaker et al. (-0.41, -1.22, -1.87, and -2.74 kcal/mol, respectively) from the CCSD(T)/cc-pVXZ (X=D and T) level interaction energies are close to the EMP2(limit) obtained using the same basis sets. The estimated EMP2(limit) values of the ten dimers were fitted to the form m0+m1X (X is 1 for methane, 2 for ethane, etc.). The obtained m0 and m1 (0.595 and -0.926 kcal/mol) show that the interactions between long n-alkane chains are significant. Analysis of basis set effects shows that cc-pVXZ (X=T, Q, or 5), aug-cc-pVXZ (X=D, T, Q, or 5) basis set, or 6-311G** basis set augmented with diffuse polarization function is necessary for quantitative evaluation of the interaction energies between n-alkane chains.  相似文献

Ab initio all-electron molecular-orbital calculations are carried out to study the structures and relative stability of low-energy silicon clusters (Si(n),n = 12-20). Selected geometric isomers include those predicted by Ho et al. [Nature (London) 392, 582 (1998)] based on an unbiased search with tight-binding/genetic algorithm, as well as those found by Rata et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 85, 546 (2000)] based on density-functional tight-binding/single-parent evolution algorithm. These geometric isomers are optimized at the M?ller-Plesset (MP2) MP2/6-31G(d) level. The single-point energy at the coupled-cluster single and double substitutions (including triple excitations) [CCSD(T)] CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) level for several low-lying isomers are further computed. Harmonic vibrational frequency analysis at the MP2/6-31G(d) level of theory is also undertaken to assure that the optimized geometries are stable. For Si12-Si17 and Si19 the isomer with the lowest-energy at the CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) level is the same as that predicted by Ho et al., whereas for Si18 and Si20, the same as predicted by Rata et al. However, for Si14 and Si15, the vibrational frequency analysis indicates that the isomer with the lowest CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) single-point energy gives rise to imaginary frequencies. Small structural perturbation onto the Si14 and Si15 isomers can remove the imaginary frequencies and results in new isomers with slightly lower MP2/6-31G(d) energy; however the new isomers have a higher single-point energy at the CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) level. For most Si(n) (n = 12-18,20) the low-lying isomers are prolate in shape, whereas for Si19 a spherical-like isomer is slightly lower in energy at the CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) level than low-lying prolate isomers.  相似文献

Six cyclic stationary points on the water trimer potential energy surface have been fully optimized at the MP2 level with the aug-cc-pVQZ basis set. In agreement with previous work, harmonic vibrational frequencies indicate that two structures are minima, three are transition states connecting minima on the surface while the remaining stationary point is a higher-order saddle point. The 1- and n-particle limits of the electronic energies of each of these six structures were estimated by systematically varying both the basis sets and theoretical methods. The former limit was approached with the cc-pVXZ and aug-cc-pVXZ families of basis sets (X=2-7) while MP2, CCSD(T), and BD(TQ) calculations helped examine the latter. Core correlation effects have also been assessed at the MP2 level with the cc-pCVXZ series of basis sets (X=2-5). These data have been combined to provide highly accurate relative energies and dissociation energies for these stationary points.  相似文献

The structure and stability of various HCN2+ isomeric structures have been investigated at the complete active space SCF (CASSCF) and multireference-configuration interaction [MR-Cl-SD(Q)] levels of theory with the 6-31G(d) and 6-311G(d,p) basis sets. The investigated species include the singlet (S) and triplet (T) open-chain H-N-C-N+ ions 1S, 1S', and 1T, the open-chain H-C-N-N+ ions 2S, 2S', and 2T, the HC-N2+ cyclic structures 3S and 3T, and the HN-CN+ cyclic structures 4S and 4T. All these species have been identified as true energy minima on the CASSCF(8,7)/6-31G(d) potential energy surface, and their optimised geometries, refined at the CASSCF(8,8)/6-31G(d) level of theory, have been used to perform single point calculations at the [MR-Cl-SD(Q]/6-311G(d,p) computational level. The most stable structure was the H-N-C-N+ ion 1T, whose absolute enthalpy of formation at 298.15 K has been estimated as 333.9 +/- 2 kcalmol(-1) using the Gaussian-3 (G3) procedure. The two species closest in energy to 1T are the triplet H-C-N-N+ ion 2T and the singlet diazirinyl cation 3S, whose G3 enthalpies of formation at 298.15 K are 343.5 +/- 2 and 340.6 +/- 2 kcalmol(-1), respectively. Finally, we have discussed the implications of our calculations for the detailed structure of the HCN2+ ions formed in the reaction between N3+ and HCN, experimentally observed by flowing after-glow-selected ion flow/drift tube mass spectrometry and possibly occurring in Titan's atmosphere.  相似文献

Highly correlated ab initio electronic structure theory has been used to systematically investigate the linear (X 2Pi) GeGeH and H-bridged (X 2B1 and A 2A1) GeHGe structures and the isomerization transition state (A 2A') connecting X 2Pi with A 2A1. The equilibrium structures and physical properties have been predicted employing self-consistent field, configuration interaction with single and double excitations, coupled cluster with single and double excitations (CCSD), and CCSD with perturbative triple excitations [CCSD(T)]. Four correlation-consistent polarized valence-[cc-pVXZ and aug-cc-pVXZ (X=T and Q)] type basis sets were used in the study. For the H-bridged GeHGe isomer, the X 2B1 ground state is predicted to lie only 0.74 [0.95 with zero-point vibrational energy (ZPVE) corrections] kcal mol-1 below the A 2A1 excited state at the CCSD(T) level of theory with the augmented correlation-consistent polarized valence quadruple zeta (aug-cc-pVQZ) basis set. The X 2B1 state of the H-bridged GeHGe isomer lies 8.6 kcal mol-1 below the X 2Pi ground state of the linear GeGeH isomer. The forward isomerization barrier from the linear ground state to the A 2A' transition state is predicted to be 3.7 kcal mol-1. The reverse isomerization barrier between the A 2A1 GeHGe structure and the X 2Pi GeGeH structure is predicted to be 11.6 (10.8 with the ZPVE corrections) kcal mol-1 at the aug-cc-pVQZ CCSD(T) level of theory.  相似文献

We have calculated the intermolecular interaction potentials of the methane dimer at the minimum-energy D(3d) conformation using the Hartree-Fock (HF) self-consistent theory, the correlation-corrected second-order M?ller-Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory, and the density functional theory (DFT) with the Perdew-Wang (PW91) functional as the exchange or the correlation part. The HF calculations yield unbound potentials largely due to the exchange-repulsion interaction. In the MP2 calculations, the basis set effects on the repulsion exponent, the equilibrium bond length, the binding energy, and the asymptotic behavior of the calculated intermolecular potentials have been thoroughly studied. We have employed basis sets from the Slater-type orbitals fitted with Gaussian functions (STO-nG) (n=3-6) [Quantum Theory of Molecular and Solids: The Self-Consistent Field for Molecular and Solids (McGraw-Hill, New York, 1974), Vol. 4], Pople's medium size basis sets of Krishnan et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 72, 650 (1980)] [up to 6-311++G(3df,3pd)] to Dunning's correlation consistent basis sets [J. Chem. Phys. 90, 1007 (1989)] (cc-pVXZ and aug-cc-pVXZ) (X=D, T, and Q). With increasing basis size, the repulsion exponent and the equilibrium bond length converge at the 6-31G** basis set and the 6-311++G(2d,2p) basis set, respectively, while a large basis set (aug-cc-pVTZ) is required to converge the binding energy at a chemical accuracy (approximately 0.01 kcal/mol). Up to the largest basis set used, the asymptotic dispersion coefficient has not converged to the destined C6 value from molecular polarizability calculations. The slow convergence could indicate the inefficacy of using the MP2 calculations with Gaussian-type functions to model the asymptotic behavior. Both the basis set superposition error (BSSE) corrected and uncorrected results are presented to emphasize the importance of including such corrections. Only the BSSE corrected results systematically converge to the destined potential curve with increasing basis size. The DFT calculations generate a wide range of interaction patterns, from purely unbound to strongly bound, underestimating or overestimating the binding energy. The binding energy calculated using the PW91PW91 functional and the equilibrium bond length calculated using the PW91VP86 functional are close to the MP2 results at the basis set limit.  相似文献

Ab initio calculations at the MP4(SDTQ)/6-311G//MP2/6-31G level were performed to study the structures and stabilities of the dimer of ethyl cation, (C(2)H(+)(5))(2), and related C(4)H(10)(2+) isomers. Two doubly hydrogen bridged diborane type trans 1 and cis 2 isomers were located as minima. The trans isomer was found to be more favorable than cis isomer by only 0.6 kcal/mol. Several other minima for C(4)H(10)(2+) were also located. However, the global energy minimum corresponds to C-H (C(4) position) protonated 2-butyl cation 10. Structure 10 was computed to be substantially more stable than 1 by 31.7 kcal/mol. The structure 10 was found to be lower in energy than 2-butyl cation 13 by 34.4 kcal/mol.  相似文献

The potential energy surface (PES) of thionylimide has been searched using ab initio MO and density functional calculations. The electronic structures of the isomers of HNSO have been studied using the HF/6‐31+G*, MP2(full)/6‐31+G*, and B3LYP/6‐31+G* levels. Final energies of these molecules have been calculated at the high‐accuracy G2 and CBS‐Q levels. The probable pathways of isomerization of thionylimide to its isomers (e.g., thiocyanic acid, HONS, nitrosothiols) have been explored by studying the three‐ or four‐membered transition states. This study identified total eight possible isomers ( 1–8 ) of HNSO, of which four ( 1–4 ) have already been realized experimentally. Of the remaining four ( 5–8 ), at least two ( 5, 7 ) can be generated experimentally. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2006  相似文献

The stable and transition structures of N4X (X = O, S, Se, Te) series with singlet state are optimized with the ab initio (MP2) and density functional theory (B3LYP) methods using the 6‐311+G(d) basis set. The ring isomers are found to be the global minima for N4O, N4S, N4Se, and the chain isomer is the minimum for N4Te. The stabilities are studied by evaluating the dissociation barriers with respect to dissociation. The reactants and products connected by transition structures are determined by applying the intrinsic reaction coordinate (IRC) calculations. The C2v, C3v and ring isomers decompose into linear NNX and N2 molecules, however, the chain isomers decompose into cyclic N2X and N2 firstly. A new possible isomerization mechanism between the cyclic and linear structures of N2X series is studied. The cyclic structures of N2X convert into linear structures easily with the very low barriers. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2009  相似文献

Benzene-methanol cluster structures were investigated with theoretical chemistry methods to describe the microsolvation of benzene and the benzene-methanol azeotrope. Benzene-methanol (MeOH) clusters containing up to six methanol molecules have been calculated by ab initio [MP2/6-311++G(d,p)//MP2/6-31+G(d,p) + BSSE correction] method. The BSSE was found quite large with this basis set, hence, different extrapolation schemes in combination with the aug-cc-pVxZ basis sets have been used to estimate the complete basis set limit of the MP2 interaction energy [ΔE(MP2/CBS)]. For smaller clusters, n ≤ 3, DFT procedures (DFTB+, MPWB1K, M06-2X) have also been applied. Geometries obtained for these clusters by M06-2X and MP2 calculations are quite similar. Based on the MP2/CBS results, the most stable C(6)H(6)(MeOH)(3) cluster is characterized by a hydrogen bonded MeOH trimer chain interacting with benzene via π···H-O and O···H-C(benzene) hydrogen bonds. Larger benzene-MeOH clusters with n ≥ 4 consist of cyclic (MeOH)(n) subclusters interacting with benzene by dispersive forces, to be denoted by C(6)H(6) + (MeOH)(n). Interaction energies and cooperativity effects are discussed in comparison with methanol clusters. Besides MP2/CBS calculations, for selected larger clusters the M06-2X/6-311++G(d,p)//M06-2X/6-31+G(d,p) procedure including the BSSE correction was also used. Interaction energies obtained thereby are usually close to the MP2/CBS limit. To model the benzene-MeOH azeotrope, several structures for (C(6)H(6))(2)(MeOH)(3) clusters have been calculated. The most stable structures contain a tilted T-shaped benzene dimer interacting by π···H-O and O···H-C (benzene) hydrogen bonds with a (MeOH)(3) chain. A slightly less negative interaction energy results for a parallel displaced benzene sandwich dimer with a (MeOH)(3) chain atop of one of the benzene molecules.  相似文献

The hydrogen bonding of 1:1 complexes formed between formamide and water molecule have been investigated systematically using Hartree–Fock (HF), hybrid density functional theory (B3LYP), and post‐Hartree–Fock (MP2 and CCSD(T)) methods with range of basis sets 6‐31G(d), cc‐pVXZ (X = D, T, Q) and aug‐cc‐pVYZ (Y = D, T). Three stable structures are considered on the potential energy surface of formamide and water system. The optimized geometric parameters and interaction energies for various isomers at different levels are estimated. The IR frequencies, intensities, and frequency shifts are reported. This study shows that B3LYP/aug‐cc‐pVDZ method gives better performance for formamide‐water complexes. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2010.  相似文献

We establish that routine B3LYP and MP2 methods give qualitatively wrong conformations for flexible organic systems containing pi systems and that recently developed methods can overcome the known inadequacies of these methods. This is illustrated for a molecule (a conformer of the Tyr-Gly dipeptide) for which B3LYP/6-31+G(d) and MP2/6-31+G(d) geometry optimizations yield strikingly different structures [Mol. Phys. 2006, 104, 559-570]: MP2 predicts a folded "closed-book" conformer with the glycine residue located above the tyrosine ring, whereas B3LYP predicts a more open conformation. By employing different levels of theory, including the local electron correlation methods LMP2 (local MP2) and LCCSD(T0) (local coupled cluster with single, double, and noniterative local triple excitations) and large basis sets (aug-cc-pVnZ, n=D, T, Q), it is shown that the folded MP2 minimum is an artifact caused by large intramolecular BSSE (basis set superposition error) effects in the MP2/6-31+G(d) calculations. The B3LYP functional gives the correct minimum, but the potential energy apparently rises too steeply when the glycine and tyrosine residues approach each other, presumably due to missing dispersion effects in the B3LYP calculations. The PWB6K and M05-2X functionals, designed to give good results for weak interactions, remedy this to some extent. The reduced BSSE in the LMP2 calculations leads to faster convergence with increasing basis set quality, and accurate results can be obtained with smaller basis sets as compared to canonical MP2. We propose LMP2 as a suitable method to study interactions with pi-electron clouds.  相似文献

High-level ab initio molecular-orbital methods have been employed to determine the relative stability among four neutral and anionic B20 isomers, particularly the double-ring tubular isomer versus three low-lying planar isomers. Calculations with the fourth-order Moller-Plessset perturbation theory [MP4(SDQ)] and Dunning's correlation consistent polarized valence triple zeta basis set as well as with the coupled-cluster method including single, double, and noniteratively perturbative triple excitations and the 6-311G(d) basis set show that the double-ring tubular isomer is appreciably lower in energy than the three planar isomers and is thus likely the global minimum of neutral B20 cluster. In contrast, calculations with the MP4(SDQ) level of theory and 6-311+G(d) basis set show that the double-ring anion isomer is appreciably higher in energy than two of the three planar isomers. In addition, the temperature effects on the relative stability of both 10B20- and 11B20- anion isomers are examined using the density-functional theory. It is found that the three planar anion isomers become increasingly more stable than the double-ring isomer with increasing the temperature. These results are consistent with the previous conclusion based on a joint experimental/simulated anion photoelectron spectroscopy study [B. Kiran et al., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 102, 961 (2005)], that is, the double-ring anion isomer is notably absent from the experimental spectra. The high stability of the double-ring neutral isomer of B20 can be attributed in part to the strong aromaticity as characterized by its large negative nucleus-independent chemical shift. The high-level ab initio calculations suggest that the planar-to-tubular structural transition starts at B20 for neutral clusters but should occur beyond the size of B20- for the anion clusters.  相似文献

Previous field ionization kinetic experiments have supported strongly that the double hydrogen migration prior to the elimination of C5H8 from the molecular ions of the endo isomers of 8,9-disubstituted tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2,6)]decenes, which is not observed for the exo isomers, proceeds in a concerted, i.e., dyotropic way. This paper describes the results of ab initio calculations at the ROHF/4-31G and DFT level of theory, performed on the double hydrogen migration for the ionized endo isomer of unsubstituted tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2,6)]decene. An intrinsic reaction coordinate calculation at the DFT level has shown indeed a direct connection between the structures of the molecular ions of the endo isomer before and after the double hydrogen migration, thus corroborating the earlier suggested concerted, i.e., dyotropic pathway of this double hydrogen rearrangement.  相似文献

Accurate anharmonic experimental vibrational frequencies for water clusters consisting of 2-5 water molecules have been predicted on the basis of comparing different methods with MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ calculated and experimental anharmonic frequencies. The combination of using HF/6-31G* scaled frequencies for intramolecular modes and anharmonic frequencies for intermolecular modes gives excellent agreement with experiment for the water dimer and trimer and are as good as the expensive anharmonic MP2 calculations. The water trimer, the cyclic Ci and S4 tetramers, and the cyclic pentamer all have unique peaks in the infrared spectrum between 500 and 800 cm-1 and between 3400 and 3700 cm-1. Under the right experimental conditions these different clusters can be uniquely identified using high-resolution IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The novel cycloalkane pyramidane (tetracyclo[2.1.0.01,302,5]pentane, [3.3.3.3]fenestrane), C5H4, with a pyramidal carbon atom, was investigated further. Calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* and G2(MP2) levels supported earlier conclusions from QCISD(T)/6-31G*//MP2(FC)/6-31G* energies that pyramidane lies in a deep well (ca. 100 kJ mol−1) on the potential energy surface. The pyramidal carbon is predicted to have a lone electron pair, and calculations (CBS-4) indicate that pyramidane is remarkably basic for a saturated hydrocarbon (proton affinity 976, cf. 922 and 915 kJ mol−1 for pyridine and aniline, respectively). The calculated (CBS-4) acidity is similar to that of tetrahedrane and toluene; the pyramidyl group (C5H3) attached to an atom bearing a lone electron pair appears to be much more strongly electron-withdrawing than the phenyl group. The infrared CO stretching frequency and C–CHO rotational barriers of pyramCHO, PhCHO and cyclopropylCHO indicate that the pyramidyl group is comparable to phenyl and cyclopropyl in its ability to donate electrons to an electron-deficient carbon. The adiabatic ionization energy of pyramidane is ca. 9.0 eV (MP2/6-31G*, energy differences and Koopmans’ theorem), similar to that of typical cycloalkanes. The heat of formation of pyramidane was calculated by the G2(MP2) method and isodesmic reactions to be to be 585 kJ mol−1 and the strain energy was estimated to be 622 kJ mol−1; pyramidane is 122 kJ mol−1 more strained than its isomer spiropentadiene. Application of the NMR NICS method, varying the position of the probe nucleus, gave no evidence for benzenoid-type aromaticity in the potentially cyclobutadiene cation-like base of pyramidane.  相似文献

Different geometries of nitromethane dimer and nitromethane trimer have been fully optimized employing the density functional theory B3LYP method and the 6-31++G** basis set. Three-body interaction energy has been obtained with the ab initio supermolecular approach at the levels of MP2/6-31++G**//B3LYP/6-31++G** and MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ//B3LYP/6-31++G**. The internal rotation of methyl group induced by intermolecular interaction has been observed theoretically. For the optimized structures of nitromethane dimer, the strength of C--H...O--N H-bond ranges from -9.0 to -12.4 kJ mol(-1) at the MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ//B3LYP/6-31++G** level, and the B3LYP method underestimates the interaction strength compared with the MP2 method, while MP2/6-31++G**//B3LYP/6-31++G** calculated DeltaE(C) is within 2.5 kJ mol(-1) of the corresponding value at the MP4(SDTQ)/6-31G**//B3LYP/6-31++G** level. The analytic atom-atom intermolecular potential has been successfully regressed by using the MP2/6-31++G**//B3LYP/6-31++G** calculated interaction energies of nitromethane dimer. For the optimized structures of nitromethane trimer the three-body interaction energies occupy small percentage of corresponding total binding energies, but become important for the compressed nitromethane explosive. In addition, it has been discovered that the three-body interaction energy in the cyclic nitromethane trimer is more and more negative as intermolecular distances decrease from 2.2 to 1.7 A.  相似文献

We have calculated the intermolecular interaction potentials of the silane dimer at the D3d conformation using the Hartree-Fock (HF) self-consistent theory, the correlation-corrected second-order M?ller-Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory, and the density functional theory (DFT) with 108 functionals chosen from the combinations of 9 exchange and 12 correlation functionals. Single-point coupled cluster [CCSD(T)] calculations have also been carried out to calibrate the correlation effect. The HF calculations yield unbound potentials largely because of the exchange-repulsion interaction. In the MP2 calculations, the basis set effects on the repulsion exponent, the equilibrium bond length, the binding energy, and the asymptotic behavior of the calculated intermolecular potentials have been thoroughly studied. We have employed basis sets from the Slater type orbitals fitted with Gaussian functions (STO-nG, n = 3 approximately 6), Pople's medium size basis sets [up to 6-311++G(3df,3pd)], to Dunning's correlation consistent basis sets (cc-pVXZ and aug-cc-pVXZ, X = D, T, Q). With increasing basis size, the repulsion exponent and the equilibrium bond length converge at the 6-31G** basis set and the 6-311++G(3d,3p) basis set, respectively, while a large basis set (aug-cc-pVTZ) is required to converge the binding energy at a chemical accuracy ( approximately 0.05 kcal/mol). Up to the largest basis set used, the asymptotic dispersion coefficient has not converged to the expected C6 value from molecular polarizability calculations. We attribute the slow convergence partly to the inefficacy of using the MP2 calculations with Gaussian type functions to model the asymptotic behavior. Both the basis set superposition error (BSSE) corrected and uncorrected results are presented to emphasize the importance of including such corrections. Only the BSSE corrected results systematically converge to the expected potential curve with increasing basis size. The DFT calculations generate a wide range of interaction patterns, from purely unbound to strongly bound, underestimating or overestimating the binding energy. The binding energies calculated using the OPTXHCTH147, PBEVP86, PBEP86, PW91TPSS, PW91PBE, and PW91PW91 functionals and the equilibrium bond lengths calculated using the MPWHCTH93, TPSSHCTH, PBEVP86, PBEP86, PW91TPSS, PW91PBE, and PW91PW91 functionals are close to the MP2 results using the 6-311++G(3df,3pd) basis set. A correlation between the calculated DFT potentials and the exchange and correlation enhancement factors at the low-density region has been elucidated. The asymptotic behaviors of the DFT potentials are also analyzed.  相似文献
