Let Φ be a unital associative commutative ring with 1/2. The local nilpotency is proved of binary Lie Φ-algebras satisfying the third Engel condition. Moreover, it is proved that this class of algebras does not contain semiprime algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, using generating functions, we study two categories ? and ? of modules for twisted affine Lie algebras g^[σ], which were firstly introduced and studied for untwisted affine Lie algebras by H. -S. Li [Math Z, 2004, 248: 635-664]. We classify integrable irreducible g^[σ]-modules in categories ? and ?, where ? is proved to contain the well-known evaluation modules and ? to unify highest weight modules, evaluation modules and their tensor product modules. We determine also the isomorphism classes of those irreducible modules.  相似文献

A Lie subalgebra of is said to be finitary if it consists of elements of finite rank. We show that, if acts irreducibly on , and if is infinite-dimensional, then every non-trivial ascendant Lie subalgebra of acts irreducibly on too. When , it follows that the locally solvable radical of such is trivial. In general, locally solvable finitary Lie algebras over fields of characteristic are hyperabelian.

In this paper, simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras is investigated. From the view point of the corresponding Gel’fand–Dorfman bialgebras, some su?cient conditions and necessary conditions to ensure simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are presented. By these observations, we present several new classes of infinite simple Lie conformal algebras. These results will be useful for classification purposes.  相似文献

We give a full classification of Lie algebras of specific type in complexified Clifford algebras. These 16 Lie algebras are direct sums of subspaces of quaternion types. We obtain isomorphisms between these Lie algebras and classical matrix Lie algebras in the cases of arbitrary dimension and signature. We present 16 Lie groups: one Lie group for each Lie algebra associated with this Lie group. We study connection between these groups and spin groups.  相似文献

It is proved that for any quasi-filiform of non-zero rank the solvable Lie algebra obtained by adjoining a maximal torus of outer derivations is complete. Further, for any positive integer m, it is shown that there exist solvable complete Lie algebras with the second Chevalley–Eilenberg cohomology group of arbitrary dimension.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that a biderivation of a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra without the restriction of being skewsymmetric is an inner biderivation. As an application, the biderivation of a general linear Lie algebra is presented. In particular, we find a class of a non-inner and non-skewsymmetric biderivations. Furthermore, we also obtain the forms of the linear commuting maps on the finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra or general linear Lie algebra.  相似文献

A locally convex Lie algebra is said to be locally exponential if it belongs to some local Lie group in canonical coordinates. In this note we give criteria for locally exponential Lie algebras of vector fields on an infinite-dimensional manifold to integrate to global Lie group actions. Moreover, we show that all necessary conditions are satisfied if the manifold is finite-dimensional connected and σ-compact, which leads to a generalization of Palais’ Integrability Theorem.   相似文献

Let \(\mathfrak{n}\) be a finite-dimensional noncommutative nilpotent Lie algebra for which the ring of polynomial invariants of the coadjoint representation is generated by linear functions. Let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be an arbitrary Lie algebra. We consider semidirect sums \(\mathfrak{n} \dashv _\rho \mathfrak{g}\) with respect to an arbitrary representation ρ: \(\mathfrak{g}\) → der \(\mathfrak{n}\) such that the center z \(\mathfrak{n}\) of \(\mathfrak{n}\) has a ρ-invariant complement.We establish that some localization \(\tilde P(\mathfrak{n} \dashv _\rho \mathfrak{g})\) of the Poisson algebra of polynomials in elements of the Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{n} \dashv _\rho \mathfrak{g}\) is isomorphic to the tensor product of the standard Poisson algebra of a nonzero symplectic space by a localization of the Poisson algebra of the Lie subalgebra \((z\mathfrak{n}) \dashv \mathfrak{g}\). If \([\mathfrak{n},\mathfrak{n}] \subseteq z\mathfrak{n}\), then a similar tensor product decomposition is established for the localized universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{n} \dashv _\rho \mathfrak{g}\). For the case in which \(\mathfrak{n}\) is a Heisenberg algebra, we obtain explicit formulas for the embeddings of \(\mathfrak{g}_P \) in \(\tilde P(\mathfrak{n} \dashv _\rho \mathfrak{g})\). These formulas have applications, some related to integrability in mechanics and others to the Gelfand-Kirillov conjecture.  相似文献
