New measurements of the reactione + e confirm previous evidence for the decay1 and provide a strong constraint on the mass of the1. The results from a detailed analysis of these data are compared with those from a corresponding analysis of new data on the reactione + e . It is shown that in accord with expectation. This identification of a strong1 decay supports a previous claim that the1 and theC(1480), observed in the channel, cannot be different manifestations of the same particle.  相似文献

We calculate the D s 1 (2536) ^+ decays into D*K channels,including the decay D s 1 (2536) + → D + π-K + through a virtual D*0 in a constituent quark model.Widths and S/D amplitudes ratio are in agreement with the recent Belle and BABAR data,being the results sensitive to 1 P 1 and 3 P 1 mixture.  相似文献

Motivated by nearly unanimous claim that the observed mass spectrum +- is not that expected from pure 0 dominance, we reanalyze all the published data on / +- decays. We find non-resonant contributions. In order to evaluate precisely the magnitude of these terms, we also refit the e+e- +- data to get reliably the 0 parameters and decay amplitude. We show that identifying the non-resonant contribution with the box anomaly predicted by QCD and chiral theories, one achieves a consistent picture. Several checks are performed which show the consistency of our fitted parameters. From four measurements, we determinef 1,f 8 and PS on purely experimental grounds, and we find them in the expected range. Presently available data allow for two solutions, one is consistent with QCD, the other favours integral charge quark models. We show that presently available data do not allow to choose among these two solutions. We discuss the interrelation of uncertainties in e+e- +- physics with our two solutions.  相似文献

The results of processing the data of the SERP-E-184 experiment that studied mechanisms of the production of charmed particles in proton-nucleus interactions at 70 GeV and their decays are presented. The data were obtained in irradiating the SVD-2 active target consisting of carbon, silicon, and lead plates with a 70-GeV proton beam. A detailed simulation based on the FRITIOF7.02 and GEANT3.21 packages made it possible to optimize event-selection criteria and to calculate the detection efficiencies for D ± mesons. After the selection of a signal from the three-body decay of charged charmed D ± mesons, the inclusive cross sections for their production at threshold energies were measured along with respective lifetimes and parameters of the A dependence of the cross sections. The yields of D mesons and their ratios are compiled in a table along with data fromother experiments and the respective theoretical predictions.  相似文献

We study the hadronic decays of ∧_c~+ to the final states ∑~+η and ∑~+η',using an e~+e~-annihilation data sample of 567 pb~(-1) taken at a center-of-mass energy of 4.6 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCⅡ collider.We find evidence for the decays ∧_c~+→∑~+η and ∑~+η' with statistical significance of 2.5σ and 3.2σ,respectively.Normalizing to the reference decays ∧_c~+→∑~+π0 and ∑~+ω,we obtain the ratios of the branching fractions■and ■to be 0.35±0.16±0.02 and 0.86±0.34±0.04,respectively.The upper limits at the 90% confidence level are set to be■and■.Using BESIII measurements of the branching fractions of the reference decays,we determine B(∧_c~+→∑~+η)=(0.41±0.19±0.05)%(0.68%)and B(∧_c~+→∑~+η')=(1.34±0.53 ±0.19)%(1.9%).Here,the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.The obtained branching fraction of ∧_c~+→∑~+η is consistent with the previous measurement,and the branching fraction of ∧_c~+→∑~+η' is measured for the first time.  相似文献

Using all experimentally measured charmless B → PP, PV decay modes, where P(V) denotes a light pseudoscalar(vector) meson, we extract the CKM angle γ by a global fit. All hadronic parameters are determined from the experimental data, such that the approach is least model dependent. The contributions of the various decay modes are classified by the topological weak Feynman diagram amplitudes, which are determined by the global fit.To improve the precision of the approach, we consider the flavor SU(3) breaking effects of the topological diagram amplitudes of the decay modes by including the form factors and decay constants. The fit result for the CKM angle γ is( 69.8 ± 2.1 ± 0.9)°. It is consistent with the current world average values but has a smaller uncertainty.  相似文献

A search for φ radiative decays has been performed using a data sample of about 2.0 million φ decays collected by the CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M collider in Novosibirsk. From the selected e+eπ+πγ events the following results were obtained:B(φf0(980)γ)<1×10−4 for destructive andB(φf0(980)γ)<7×10−4 for constructive interference with the Bremsstrahlung process respectively,B(φγπ+πγ)<3×10−5 for Eγ>20 MeV,B(φργ)<7×10−4. From the selected e+eμ+μγ eventsB(φμ+μγ)=(2.3±1.0)×10−5 has been obtained for Eγ>20 MeV. The upper limit on the P,CP-violating decay ηπ+π has also been placed:B(ηπ+π)<9×10−4. In the Standard Model, the Higgs potential allows only one minimum at tree level. But the open possibility that there might be two scalar doublets enriches the vacuum structure, allowing for the risk that we might now be in a metastable state, which we dub the panic vacuum. Current experiments at the LHC are probing the Higgs particle predicted as a result of the spontaneous symmetry breaking. Remarkably, in the two Higgs model with a softly broken U(1) symmetry, the LHC experiments already allow to exclude many panic vacuum solutions.  相似文献

By employing the perturbative QCD(pQCD) factorization approach, we calculate the new physics contributions to the four B→Kη()decays in the Standard Model(SM) with a fourth generation of fermions(SM4),induced by the loop diagrams involving t quark. Within the considered parameter space of the SM4 we find that:(a) the next-to-leading order(NLO) pQCD predictions for the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries in both the SM and SM4 generally agree with the data within one standard deviation;(b) for Br(B→Kη), the inclusion of the fourth generation contributions can improve the agreement between the theoretical predictions and the data effectively;(c) however, for Br(B → Kη) the decrease due to t loops is disfavored by the data; and,(d) the new physics corrections to the CP-violating asymmetries of the considered decays are only about 10%.  相似文献

The relativistic bound state problem with the light-cone two-body equation (i.e. Bethe-Salpeter equation in the infinite momentum frame) is investigated in the light-cone ladder approximation to φ3-theories. QCD theory predicts the existence of glueballs,but so far all experimental endeavors have failed to identify any such states.To remedy this discrepancy between QCD,which has proven to be a successful theory for strong interactions,and the failure of experimental searches for glueballs,one is tempted to accept the promising interpretation that the glueballs mix with regular qq states of the same quantum numbers.The lattice estimate of the masses of pure 0~(++) glueballs ranges from 1 to 2 GeV,which is the region of the f_0 family.Thus many authors suggest that the f_0 mesonic series is an ideal place to study possible mixtures of glueballs and qq.In this paper,following the strategy proposed by Close,Farrar and Li,we try to determine the fraction of glueball components in f_0 mesons using the measured mass spectra and the branching ratios of J/ψ radiative decays into f_0 mesons.Since the pioneering papers by Close et al.,more than 20 years have elapsed and more accurate measurements have been done by several experimental collaborations,so it is time to revisit this interesting topic using new data.We suppose f_0(500) and f_0(980) to be pure quark states,while for f_0(1370),f_0(1500) and f_0(1710),to fit both the experimental data of J/ψ radiative decay and their mass spectra,glueball components are needed.Moreover,the mass of the pure 0~(++) glueball is phenomenologically determined.  相似文献

By employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach, we calculate the full leading and the partial next-to-leading order (NLO) contributions to the seven B →πη(′) and η(′)η(′) decays. For B^+→ π+η(′) decays, the pQCD predictions for their decay rates agree very well with the data after the inclusion of the small NLO contributions. For neutral decays, the pQCD predictions are also consistent with the experimental upper limits and can be tested by the LHC experiments. The measured value of dir .Acp^dir(π+η)= 19±7% can also be accommodated by the pQCD approach.  相似文献

We study the possible heavy molecular states composed of a pair of charm mesons in the H and S doublets. Since the P-wave charm-strange mesons D s0(2317) and D s1(2460) are extremely narrow, the future experimental observation of the possible heavy molecular states composed of $D_{s}/D_{s}^{\ast}$ and D s0(2317)/D s1(2460) may be feasible if they really exist. Especially the possible J PC =1?? states may be searched for via the initial state radiation technique.  相似文献

Constraints on the distribution amplitudes of the SU f (3) singlet η 1 and octet η 8 states are obtained from a comparison of the theoretical predictions for the η γ and ηγ electromagnetic transition form factors with experimental data of the CLEO and BaBar Collaborations. In calculations of the form factors F η(η′)γ (Q 2) the power-suppressed corrections arising from the end-point integration regions x→0,1 are taken into account by employing the infrared renormalon approach. It is demonstrated that the power-suppressed corrections allow one to describe the data on the η γ and ηγ transitions within a framework of the SU f (3) octet–singlet basis using one mixing angle for both the physical states and decay constants.  相似文献

Using the helicity formalism, we calculate the combined angular distribution functions of the polarized gamma photons and electron in the triple cascade process $\bar{\mathrm{p}}\mathrm{p}\to{}^{3}\mathrm{D}_{\mathrm{2}}\to\chi_{\mathrm{\mathrm{{J}}}}+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}\to(\psi +\gamma_{\mathrm{2}})+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}\to(\mathrm{e}^{+}+\mathrm{e}^{-})+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}+\gamma_{\mathrm{2}}\ (\mathrm{{J}}=0,1,2)$ , when $\bar{\mathrm{p}}$ and p are unpolarized. We also present the partially integrated angular distribution functions in different cases. Our results show that by measuring the two-particle angular distribution of γ 1 and γ 2 and that of γ 2 and e? with the polarization of either one of the two particles, one can determine the relative magnitudes as well as the relative phases of all the helicity amplitudes in the two radiative decay processes 3D2χ J+γ 1 and χ Jψ+γ 2.  相似文献

The effects of distributing entanglement through the amplitude damping channel or the phase damping channel on the teleportation of a single-qubit state via the Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger state and the W state are discussed. It is found that the average fidelity of teleportation depends on the type and rate of the damping in the channel. For the one-qubit affected case, the Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger state is as robust as the W state, i.e., the same quantum information is preserved through teleportation. For the two-qubit affected case, the W state is more robust when the entanglement is distributed via the amplitude damping channel; if the entanglement is distributed via the phase damping channel, the W state is more robust when the noisy parameter is small while the Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger state becomes more robust when it is large. For the three-qubit affected case, the Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger state is more robust than the W state.  相似文献

The near threshold behaviour of the reaction cross section for ppppη, recently measured in experiments at COSY and SATURNE, is analyzed. The interaction in the pp as well as in the η p final states is taken into account. The suppression of the total cross section for this process at excess energies Q < 3 MeV observed in these experiments is interpreted as an evidence for a strong repulsive η p interaction.
