Tellerium 135 and 137 nuclei were produced in thermal neutron fission of235U separated by on-line isotope separator and deposited on a movable tape. Gamma ray singles,γ-γ, β-γ coincidences and time sequencedγ spectra were collected using Ge(Li) detectors and scintillator (NE 102 A) telescope. The half-lives and mass excesses of135Te and137Te were measured and level schemes of135I and135I have been established. The level scheme of135I has been compared to different shell model calculations.  相似文献

Theβ ?-decay of148,150,152Pr into levels of148,150,152Nd has been studied byγ-singles,γγ-coincidence and for148Pr also byγγ-angular correlation measurements. The praseodymium activities have been obtained by thermal neutron-induced fission of235U followed by on-line mass separation with the helium-jet coupled mass separator HELIOS. Decay schemes for these heaviest praseodymium nuclides are proposed. From the angular correlation measurements spin values for the seven lowest levels of148Nd are deduced. Spin and parity assignments for the lower levels in150,152Nd have been extrapolated from level systematics.  相似文献

Spectroscopical investigations of89Br and90Br have been performed, utilizing the formation of the molecular ion AlBr+ in the ion-source of an isotope separator on-line a reactor. Detailed level schemes have been constructed for89Kr and90Kr, and theβ-strength function of89Br and90Br below the neutron binding energy is presented. The total decay energy of89,90Br, as well as of89Kr, have been measured by means ofβ γ-coincidences, and the population of excited states in89Kr via90Br delayed neutrons has been deduced.  相似文献

The level structure of124Xe and126Xe is studied on the basis ofβ + decay of124Cs and126Cs. The Cs isotopes were produced in the Xe(p, n) Cs reactions at a proton energy ofE≈9.5 MeV. Decay schemes are proposed for these nuclei. The available experimental data are compared with the predictions of various models.  相似文献

The beta-decay of100Sr and the low-spin isomer in the daughter nucleus100Y were investigated from sources of100Sr produced from thermal neutron fission in a high-temperature ion source of the online-separator facility OSTIS installed at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL), Grenoble. Gamma-single, gamma-multispectra and gamma-gamma-coincidence measurements were performed resulting in the first level scheme of100Y as well as a considerably extended scheme of100Zr. The schemes are placed in level systematics and implications for the appearance of shape coexistence atN=60 are discussed.  相似文献

The energy level schemes of152Gd and152Sm have been established on the basis of singlesγ-spectra, andγ- γ coincidence measurements. Ge(Li) detectors were used to study the gamma spectra produced in the EC/β+ and β? decays of152Eu to152Sm and152Gd, respectively. Thirteen new transitions are reported and data from eleven coincidence gates enabled five new levels to be suggested. Relative intensities and logf t values were calculated and spin/parities deduced. The level structures of146Gd and147Gd have been investigated by in-beamγ-ray ande ? spectroscopy with (α, xn) reactions on enriched Sm targets. Detailed level schemes up to ~4 MeV, which differ radically from earlier schemes, are reported. The energy levels are characterized as particle-hole excitations using empirical single particle energies and two nucleon interactions. Analysis of pure 1p 1h proton excitations demonstrates that theZ=64 andN=82 energy gaps are about equally large.  相似文献

The energy level schemes of192Os and192Pt have been established on the basis ofγ- γ coincidence studies using a dual parameter data collection system. Ge(Li) detectors were employed to study the gamma spectra produced in the E.C. andβ ? decays of192Ir to192Os and192Pt, respectively. Thirteen new transitions and three new levels at 1,146.95, 1,237.35 and 1,913.76 keV are suggested. Relative intensities from singles measurements, branching ratios,α(K) and log ft values were calculated and multipolarities, spins and parities deduced. Comparisons are made with predictions of the Interacting Boson Model calculated on the basis of an O(6) to SU(3) transition.  相似文献

Theβ-decays of172–175Ir have been studied using a Hejet system through32S induced reactions,β half-lives have been measured and compared with those given fromα decays. The level schemes of osmium nuclei are deduced and for172Os and174Os, the 22 + level is possibly located. The observedβ-decay half-lives clearly indicate an isomerism phenomenon occuring in light Ir isotopes.  相似文献

A study was made of the (n, n), (n, n′), and (n, n′ γ) reactions which occur when a natural rubidium scattering sample is exposed to mono-energetic neutron fluxes of energies ranging from 120 to 1910 keV. Total cross sections, elastic scattering angular distributions and excitation functions for inelastic scattering were measured with a neutron time-of-flight spectrometer. Results are compared with Hauser-Feshbach theory. A 40 cc Ge(Li) detector was used in the time-gated mode to measure γ-rays from the (n, n′ γ) reaction. The latter measurements were used to refine and extend the energy level schemes derived from neutron spectroscopy. Several new levels were discovered in the low-lying (below 1900 keV) energy level spectra of85Rb and87Rb. Gamma decay schemes and branching ratios were determined for the low-lying levels of85Rb and87Rb.  相似文献

Short lived Ru isotopes produced in thermal fission of235U have been chemically separated from the other fission products. Successiveγ-ray spectra were taken by means of Ge(Li) detectors. The observedγ-lines have been assigned to the various Ru isotopes (A=107 to 110) or to their daughter elements on the basis of their half-lives, intensity ratios and known level properties. Partial decay schemes are discussed and relative fission yields are given.111Ru has been identified (T 12: 1.5±0.3 s).  相似文献

Theγ spectra emitted in the decay of122Xe and122I have been investigated using Ge(Li) detectors and a Ge(Li)-NaI coincidence apparatus. 14γ transitions with energies between 61.8 and 416.9 keV have been identified in the decay of122Xe, 44 transitions between 564.0 and 3,291.0 keV in the decay of122I. A spectroscopic study is performed for high spin states of55Fe,55Co and57Ni. To populate the investigated residues with a relevant cross section, the fusion evaporation reactions of30Si(28Si, 2pn)55Fe,30Si(28Si, 2np)55Co and4He(54Fe,n)57Ni were chosen. To identify the newγ transitions and to build the energy level schemes,γ — γ coincidence techniques together with excitation functions were employed. Angular distributions andγ — γ angular correlations allowed us to assign the spin values of the nuclear states. The previous level scheme of55Fe is extended into the region between 6.5–11 MeV of excitation energy, up to spin 27/2, while the yrast decay paths of57Ni and55Co are reported here for the first time. Experimental data are fairly well reproduced by Glaudemans' shell model calculations.  相似文献

An in-beam study of74Br has been carried out using γ-ray spectroscopy in connection with the reactions (3He,p2in) and (d,2n) on74Se targets. Separate level schemes on top of the two β-decaying isomers of74Br are proposed. Two cascades connecting highspin states are assigned to populate theI π=4(+) isomer. In this level scheme, the excited states at 72.1, 188.3 and 472.0 keV are found to have half-lives of 13.3, 0.7 and 0.7 ns, respectively. The low-spin isomer of74Br is tentatively assigned asI π=(0?). This state is populated by two other cascades. For the low-spin levels two-particle configurations of proton and neutron Nilsson orbitals are proposed. The high-spin states are tentatively interpreted as arising from the configurations (πg 9/2,νg 9/2) and (πg 3/2,νg 9/2). As a by-product, a cascade of four transitions has been observed during the3He bombardment of74Se and tentatively assigned to negative-parity states in75Kr.  相似文献

The decay of149Gd(9.4d) to the levels of149Eu has been studied using large volume high resolution Ge(Li) and NaI(Tl) detectors,γ-γ coincidence and directional correlation experiments have been performed. Newγ-rays at energies 131.9, 278.6, 384.7, 415.7, 599.2, 726.5, 734.7, 956.4 and 1,231.1 keV in149Eu have been observed. Three new levels in149Eu have been placed at 956.4, 1,082.0 and 1,231.1 keV. Spin-parity assignments have been made to some of the levels in149Eu. Multipolarity assignments have been made for most of the electromagnetic transitions from the conversion coefficients obtained through the knowledge of ourγ-transition intensities and the published conversion-electron intensities. Based on the newγ-transitions observed in the singles and coincidence spectra, a revised level scheme has been proposed for149Eu and compared with previously published level schemes. The nuclei218, 220, 222Th were investigated by conversion electron andγ-ray spectroscopy after compound nucleus reactions of14N with209Bi and16, 18O with208Pb. The intenseγ-background from fission was suppressed by spectroscopy of conversion electrons andγ-rays in coincidence with the evaporation residues or theirα-decay. Level schemes were determined for218Th up toI π=10+ and for220Th and222Th up toI π=15?. The observed structure of218Th may be explained in the spherical shell model with residual interaction by two neutron excitation. ForN≧130 completely different level schemes are observed showing very intense, collective electric dipole transitions (B(E1)?10?2 W.u.) with energies of typically 200 keV. Interpretation in terms of stable octupole deformations of the ground state as well as in anα-cluster picture are discussed.  相似文献

Theβ ? decays of103Nb and105Nb have been studied at the fission product separators JOSEF and LOHENGRIN. Half-lives of (1.5±0.2) s and (2.95±0.06) s, respectively, have been determined for these decays. Fromγ singles andγ-γ coincidence measurements extended level schemes for103Mo and105Mo have been established for the first time. The lowest energy levels of these nuclei are consistent with the interpretation as members of rotational bands built on a 3/2+ [411] Nilsson state. Evidence is presented for the location of the 9/2+ [404] configuration.  相似文献

The level scheme of95Tc has been investigated with Ge(Li)-detectors by observing the γ-rays after the decay of 1.65 h95Ru. The energies and intensities of theγtransitions were extracted fromγ-singles andγγ-coincidence spectra. In the decay of95Ru 88γ-transitions were observed; a scheme of95Tc with 25 levels is proposed into which 86 transitions could be accomodated. Spin and parity assignments were made from log (ft) values andγ-ray branching ratios. The level structure of95Tc is compared with that of the other odd Tc isotopes.  相似文献
