We first study some properties of the subspace, and investigate into the relationship of separation between a fuzzy topological space (fts) and its subspace. Then we obtain the equivalence conditions for O-connectivity. The results on O-connectivity and separation are very similar to those in general topology. Finally we discuss the relationship of connectivity between an O-connected set A in the fts (X, ω (T)) induced by the crisp topological space (X, T) and the crisp set A0 (=supp A) in (X, T).  相似文献

If the path connected topological space X has a countable open cover U with path connected elements, then π2(X,1) is computed as a colimit determined by the second homotopy groups of the intersection of elements of U and the indices of the fundamental group injections of these intersections into the fundamental group of X. Aside from assuming that the inclusions induce such monomorphisms, certain other inclusions are also required to induce monomorphisms of fundamental groups and restrictions are placed on the arrangement of the elements of U.  相似文献

For a set K in a locally convex topological vector space X there exists a set T, a σ-algebra S of subsets of T and a σ-additive measure m: SX such that K is the closed convex hull of the range {m(E): ES} of the measure m if and only if there exists a conical measure u on X so that KKu,Ku, the set of resultants of all conical measures v on X such that v < u.  相似文献

We show that if X is a finite CW-complex admitting a fixed point free involution then there is a singly graded spectral sequence with E11 ? H1(X;Z2) and E1∞ = 0. As an application we prove that for any n > 0 there is a natural number k(n) such that if n > k(n) and X is a homotopy RPn+kRPn, then X will not admit a fixed point free involution.  相似文献

Denote by Δ(resp. Δ) the open (resp. closed) unit disc in C. Let E be a closed subset of the unit circle T and let F be a relatively closed subset of T ? E of Lesbesgue measure zero. The following result is proved. Given a complex Banach space X and a bounded continuous function f:FX, there exists an extension f? of f, bounded and continuous on \?gD ? E, analytic on Δ and satisfying sup{6f?(z)6:zεδ?E. This is applied to show that for any separable complex Banach space X there exists an analytic function from Δ to X whose range is contained and dense in the unit ball of X.  相似文献

Let X be a Banach space, C a bounded closed subset of X, A a convex closed subset of X, E a complete metric space formed by all α-nonexpansive mappings fCA and M a complete metric space formed by α-nonexpansive differentiable mappings fCX. The following assertions are proved in this paper: (1) Properness of I ? f is a generic property in E (2)the subset of E formed by all α-contractive mappings is of Baire first category in E; and (3) for every y?X, the functional equation x ? f(x) = y has generically a finite number of solutions for f in M. Some applications to the fixed point theory and calculation of the topological degree are given.  相似文献

The complete Boolean homomorphisms from the category algebra C(X) of a complete matrix space X to the category algebra C(Y) of a Baire topological space Y are characterized as those σ-homomorphisms which are induced by continuous maps from dense G8-subsets of Y into X. This result is used to deduce a series of related results in topology and measure theory (some of which are well-known). Finally a similar result for the complete Boolean homomorphisms from the category algebra C(X) of a compact Hausdorff space X tothe category algebra C(Y) of a Baire topological space Y is proved.  相似文献

Let E be a Hausdorff topological vector space and X ? E an arbitrary nonempty set. Denote by E′ the dual space of E and the pairing between E′ and E by 〈w, x〉 for w?E′ and x?E. Given a point-to-set map S: X → 2X and a point-to-set map T: X → 2E, the generalized quasi-variational inequality problem (GQVI) is to find a point y? ? S(y?) and a point u? ? T(y?) such that Reu?, y? ? x〉 ? 0 for all x ? S(y?). By using the Ky Fan minimax principle or its generalized version as a tool, some general theorems on solutions of the GQVI in locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces are obtained which include a fixed point theorem due to Ky Fan and I. L. Glicksberg, and two different multivalued versions of the Hartman-Stampacchia variational inequality.  相似文献

Let P be a closed-hereditary topological property preserved by products. Call a space P-regular if it is homeomorphic to a subspace of a product of spaces with P. Suppose that each P-regular space possesses a P-regular compactification. It is well-known that each P-regular space X is densely embedded in a unique space γscPX with P such that if f: XY is continuous and Y has P, then f extends continuously to γscPX. Call P-pseudocompact if γscPX is compact.Associated with P is another topological property P#, possessing all the properties hypothesized for P above, defined as follows: a P-regular space X has P# if each P-pseudocompact closed subspace of X is compact. It is known that the P-pseudocompact spaces coincide with the P#-pseudocompact spaces, and that P# is the largest closed-hereditary, productive property for which this is the case. In this paper we prove that if P is not the property of being compact and P-regular, then P# is not simply generated; in other words, there does not exist a space E such that the spaces with P# are precisely those spaces homeomorphic to closed subspaces of powers of E.  相似文献

Let X be a set. A collection Uof subsets of X has subinfinite rank if whenever V ? U, ∩V≠ø, and V is infinite, then there are two distinct elements of V, one of which is a subset of the other. Theorem. AT1space with a base of subinfinite rank is hereditarily metacompact.  相似文献

Let CSK be the class of all K-scattered spaces having countable ranks. It is shown in this paper that if X is a regular θ-refinable space, then player one has a winning strategy in G(DK,X) if and only if he has one in G(CSK,X). This partly answers Y. Yajima's problem: By topological games, I prove that hereditary disconnectedness, zero-dimensionality and strong zero-dimensionality are equivalent in the realm of non-empty normal compact-scattered weak θ-refinable spaces. A collectionwise normal ultraparacompact-like space is an ultraparacompact space.  相似文献

Following Pareek a topological space X is called D-paracompact if for every open cover A of X there exists a continuous mapping f from X onto a developable T1-space Y and an open cover B of Y such that { f-1[B]|BB } refines A. It is shown that a space is D-paracompact if and only if it is subparacompact and D-expandable. Moreover, it is proved that D-paracompactness coincides with a covering property, called dissectability, which was introduced by the author in order to obtain a base characterization of developable spaces.  相似文献

Let V be a mixed characteristic complete discrete valuation ring, P a smooth formal scheme over V, P its special fiber, X a smooth subscheme of P, T a divisor in P such that TX=TX is a divisor in X and D2P the weak completion of the sheaf of differential operators on P. We prove that the unit-root F-isocrystals on X?TX overconvergent along TX are coherent over D2P,Q. To cite this article: D. Caro, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. I 338 (2004).  相似文献

Let X be a Banach space; S and T bounded scalar-type operators in X. Define Δ on the space of bounded operators on X by ΔX = TX ? XS if X is a bounded operator. We set up a calculus for Δ which allows us to consider f(Δ), for f a complex-valued bounded Borel measurable function on the spectrum of Δ, as an operator in the space of bounded operators whose domain is a subspace of operators which we call measure generating. This calculus is used to obtain some results on when the kernel of Δ is a complemented subspace of the space of bounded operators on X.  相似文献

Let T be a closed densely-defined operator on a Banach space X and let E(·) be a spectral measure whose range E is a complete Boolean algebra of projections in X. Then T is of the form ∝f(λ) dE(λ) if and only if T commutes with E and leaves invariant every invariant subspace of E.  相似文献

Let (Ω, B, μ) be a measure space, X a separable Banach space, and X1 the space of all bounded conjugate linear functionals on X. Let f be a weak1 summable positive B(X, X1)-valued function defined on Ω. The existence of a separable Hilbert space K, a weakly measurable B(X, K)-valued function Q satisfying the relation Q1(ω)Q(ω) = f(ω) is proved. This result is used to define the Hilbert space L2,f of square integrable operator-valued functions with respect to f. It is shown that for B+(X, X1)-valued measures, the concepts of weak1, weak, and strong countable additivity are all the same. Connections with stochastic processes are explained.  相似文献
