We consider the plane and axisymmetric problems about the contact interaction between an elastic plate and an elastic half-space loaded at infinity by a uniform tensile force parallel to the half-space boundary. We assume that the plate resists extension and does not resist bending. We determine the contact tangential stresses under the plate, the plate point displacements, and the strain distortion coefficient on the half-space surface.Similar problems were considered earlier by a different method in [1].  相似文献

A contact problem of an axisymmetrically loaded flexible ring plate lying frictionlessly on an elastic half-space is considered. The plate subsidences are represented as a power series with unknown coefficients, which are determined by the Rayleigh-Ritz method using the minimum condition for the total strain energy of the plate and the elastic foundation. 选用更具广泛性的横观各向同性弹性半空间地基模型,来分析四边自由各向异性矩形地基板的弯曲解析解.将异性薄板的弯曲控制方程,与基于横观各向同性弹性半空间地基位移解建立的板与地基变形协调方程相结合,先按对称性分解,然后用三角级数法,得出横观各向同性弹性半空间地基上四边自由各向异性矩形薄板的弯曲解析解,包括地基反力、板的挠度及内力的解析表达式.该解析解克服了数值法的弊端,取消了对地基反力的假设,板的内力及地基反力求解更切实际.算例结果与文献结果吻合良好,证明本文方法的可行性.  相似文献

The contact interaction problem for a thin circular rigid cover plate and an elastic half-space loaded at infinity by a tensile force directed in parallel to the boundary of the half-space is considered. It is assumed that the cover plate is not resistant to bending deformations. The problem can be reduced to an integral equation of the first kind whose kernel has a logarithmic singularity. The equation is solved approximately by the Multhopp-Kalandia method. The resulting approximate solution is compared with the previously obtained asymptotic solution.  相似文献

In the plane (plane strain) and axially symmetric statements, we study the problem of stability, under the action of longitudinal compressing forces, of an infinite elastic plate in two-sided contact with an elastic half-space. The upper layer of finite depth is described by the usual equations of linear theory of elasticity; the lower layer, which is geometrically nonlinear, incompressible, and infinite in depth, is prestressed by gravity forces. The total adhesion between the layer of finite depth and the lower half-space is realized. It is also assumed that the same adhesion takes place between the upper layer of the half-space and the plate with the contact tangential stresses taken into account.The results can be used to calculate the working capacity of coated bodies and layered composites and in problems of geophysics.The problem of stability of an infinite elastic plate under longitudinal compression under conditions of two-sided contact with an elastic base was studied earlier in the monograph [1] (Fuss-Winkler base) and in [2–4].  相似文献

The paper addresses a plane problem: a concentrated force acts on a plate resting on an elastic half-space with homogeneous prestrain. The equations of motion of the plate incorporate shear and rotary inertia. The half-space is assumed to be incompressible and isotropic in the natural state. The elastic potential is given in general form and is only specified for numerical purposes. The dependence of the critical velocity of the load and the stress-strain state on the prestresses is analyzed for different ratios between the stiffnesses of the layer and half-space and different contact conditions. In this work, elastic wave propagation in the inhomogeneous half-space is solved by an analytical approach based on plane wave decomposition in conjunction with appropriate functional transformations for the displacement vector. Specifically, free-field motions are recovered at the surface of a half-space with either quadratic or exponential type of depth-dependent material parameters. The incident wave is a time harmonic, planar pressure wave and the resulting free-field motions are obtained in closed form, first for the full-space and then for the half-space by adding the reflected waves. Parametric studies show marked differences in the results when compared against the corresponding ones for a homogeneous background. Finally, sensitivities of the free-field waves on the basic characteristics of the underlying inhomogeneous material and of the incoming wave are investigated.  相似文献

This research explores the influence of distributed non-interpenetrating inhomogeneities on the contact of inhomogeneous materials via a new efficient numerical model based on Eshelby’s Equivalent Inclusion Method. The half-space contact of a sphere with an inhomogeneous material is considered, and the solutions take into account interactions between all inhomogeneities. The efficiency and solution accuracy of the proposed method are demonstrated through comparative studies with those of an existing numerical method and the finite element method. The influence of spatial inhomogeneity orientations on the contact elastic field is investigated and parametric studies are conducted for the effect of arbitrarily distributed inhomogeneities on the stress field of the materials. The significance of the influences of inhomogeneity distribution parameters on the inverse volumetric stress integral is quantified and the corresponding data are fitted into selected several formulas as a step towards understanding the rolling contact fatigue life of the materials.  相似文献

The paper concerns the unbonded contact between a thin circular plate of finite radius, governed by Kirchhof or Reissner theory, pressed by means of rotationally symmetric distributed load and its own weight against the surface of an elastic half-space. The contact is assumed frictionless and unbonded. A Hankel transform solution is used for the half-space and the plate deflection is found by inverting the plate equation. The coefficients in a power expansion are obtained by equating plate and half-space deflections at a number of points in the contact region. The variation of contact radius with plate radius, the radius of the uniformly applied load, and the relative stiffness of plate and foundation, is displayed in a series of figures.  相似文献

Interpolated time-domain equivalent source method (ITDESM) is based on the assumption of free space, which makes it not suitable for reconstructing the transient acoustic quantities in the half space. Here, a half-space ITDESM is proposed to model the transient acoustic radiation over a mass-like plane. In this method, the free transient Green’s function existing in the conventional ITDESM is replaced by a closed-form transient half-space Green’s function for a mass-like plane. Such transient Green’s function enables one to take the reflection effect of the mass-like plane into consideration. Modeling acoustic radiation from three transient monopoles above an infinite plane with mass-like behavior is studied by numerical simulations to demonstrate the feasibility of the half-space ITDESM. The proposed method is also examined by comparing the reconstruction accuracy among a free-field model, a rigid plane model and a mass-like plane model. An experiment with an impacted steel plate lying above a table plate is conducted in the semi-anechoic room, and the results further verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Summary In this paper a penalty formulation of the frictionless unilateral contact problem between an elastic rectangular plate and an elastic half-space is presented. In order to take into account the effects of the shear stress, the Mindlin plate model is analyzed. Some numerical results, obtained via finite elements, are given.
Sommario In questo lavoro viene presentata una formulazione penalty del problema di contatto unilaterale senza attrito tra una piastra rettangolare elastica ed un semispazio elastico. Per la piastra si utilizza il modello di Mindlin, che consente di tener conto dell'effetto delle tensioni da taglio. Si forniscono alcuni risultati numerici ottenuti mediante discretizzazione agli elementi finiti.

Boundary Element Analysis of Raft Foundations on Piles   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The boundary element method is used in the formulation of models for the analysis of raft foundations on piles. Two models are considered: a Kirchhoff plate on a layered elastic half-space and a Kirchhoff plate on a Winkler soil. The plates are modelled using conforming boundary elements and the piles by using linear finite elements. Mindlin's solution is used as influence function within the half-space while Boussinesq's solution, a precursor although a particular case of Mindlin's solution, is used to derive the deflections of the soil surface. The models are used in the analysis of some raft foundations on piles and the results and relative merits are discussed.  相似文献

研究横观各向同性饱和土地基上中厚弹性圆板的非轴对称振动问题。基于横观各向同性饱和介质Biot波动方程的一般解,按混合边值问题建立了饱和地基与弹性中厚圆板非轴对称动力相互作用的对偶积分方程,并将对偶积分方程转化为易于计算的第二类Fredholm积分方程;采用数值方法求解该积分方程。数值算例结果表明,当h/a>0.05时,饱和半空间体上中厚度圆板在不同频率下的振动特性与相应频率下的刚性板的振动特性基本相同,当h/a<0.05时,板中心的位移将随h/a的减小而增大。  相似文献

The paper presents a three-dimensional solution to the equilibrium equations for linear elastic transversely isotropic inhomogeneous media. We assume that the material has constant Poisson’s ratios, and its Young’s and shear moduli have the same functional form of dependence on the co-ordinate normal to the plane of isotropy. We show, apparently for the first time, that stresses and displacements in such an inhomogeneous transversely isotropic elastic solid can be represented in terms of two displacement functions which satisfy the second- and fourth-order partial differential equations. We examine and discuss key aspects of the new representation; they include the relationship between the new displacement functions and Plevako’s solution for isotropic inhomogeneous material with constant Poisson’s ratio as well as the application of the new representation to some important classes of three-dimensional elasticity problems. As an example, the displacement function is derived that can be used to determine stresses and displacements in an inhomogeneous transversely isotropic half-space which is subjected to a concentrated force normal to a free surface and applied at the origin (Boussinesq’s problem).  相似文献

The present paper framed to study the impact of heterogeneity on propagation of Love wave in a heterogeneous micropolar layer over an elastic inhomogeneous stratum, when both rigidity and density are assumed to vary linearly with depth. The equations of motion have been formulated separately for layer and half-space under suitable boundary conditions. Analytical solution for the dispersion equation has been obtained using method of separation of variables by means of the Airy function and Whittaker function. Some particular cases have also been investigated. Further, as a special case the velocity equation for isotropic layer over a homogeneous half-space coincides with the standard result of Love wave. Numerical calculations of frequency relation have been performed and depicted by means of graphs to exhibit the substantial impact of heterogeneity, micropolar parameters and wave number on the phase velocity of Love wave. The wave velocity is strongly influenced by these parameters.  相似文献

Composite structures on an elastic foundation are being widely used in engineering applications. Bending response of inhomogeneous viscoelastic plate as a composite structure on a two-parameter (Pasternak’s type) elastic foundation is investigated. The formulations are based on sinusoidal shear deformation plate theory. Trigonometric terms are used in the present theory for the displacements in addition to the initial terms of a power series through the thickness. The transverse shear correction factors are not needed because a correct representation of the transverse shear strain is given. The interaction between the plate and the foundation is included in the formulation with a two-parameter Pasternak’s model. The effective moduli and Illyushin’s approximation methods are used to derive the viscoelastic solution. The effects played by foundation stiffness, plate aspect ratio, and other parameters are presented.  相似文献

本文对大型汽轮发电机组-基础-土壤系统采用模态综合技术进行了动力分析.用弹性半空间理论建立土壤的模型,基础底板则通过弹性薄板的李兹(Ritz)函数近似解的形式来描述.用三维梁单元来建立基础底板以上的框架结构和转子系统的运动方程.此外,还用模态应变能的相对大小,在这种复杂机械结构系统存在的众多固有频率中,区分出哪些是属于主要为转子系统的固有频率,称为“重要振动固有频率”,以确定系统的临界转速.最后,对引进的一台500MW汽轮发电机组的动力特性进行了分析.  相似文献
