A new third-order integrable equation is constructed via combining the recursion operator of the modified KdV equation (MKdV) and its inverse recursion operator. The developed equation will be termed the modified KdV-negative order modified KdV equation (MKdV–nMKdV). The complete integrability of this equation is confirmed by showing that it nicely possesses the Painlevé property. We obtain multiple soliton solutions for the newly developed integrable equation. Moreover, this equation enjoys a variety of solutions which include solitons, peakons, cuspons, negaton, positon, complexiton and other solutions.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the numerical solution of the third-order nonlinear KdV equation using the element-free Galerkin (EFG) method which is based on the moving least-squares approximation. A variational method is used to obtain discrete equations, and the essential boundary conditions are enforced by the penalty method. Compared with numerical methods based on mesh, the EFG method for KdV equations needs only scattered nodes instead of meshing the domain of the problem. It does not require any element connectivity and does not suffer much degradation in accuracy when nodal arrangements are very irregular. The effectiveness of the EFG method for the KdV equation is investigated by two numerical examples in this paper.  相似文献

The celebrated Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) topics are of crucial significance in many fields of natural sciences. In this paper, a symbolic-computation-based method is applied to a perturbed form of the modified KdV equation, and one type of the analytic solutions is obtained. <正>This paper applies the variational iteration method to obtain approximate analytic solutions of a generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled Korteweg-de Vries(KdV) equation and a coupled modified Korteweg-de Vries(mKdV) equation. This method provides a sequence of functions which converges to the exact solution of the problem and is based on the use of the Lagrange multiplier for the identification of optimal values of parameters in a functional.Some examples are given to demonstrate the reliability and convenience of the method and comparisons are made with the exact solutions.  相似文献

This paper considers the multi-symplectic formulations of the generalized fifth-order KdV equation in Hamiltonian space. Recurring to the midpoint rule, it presents an implicit multi-symplectic scheme with discrete multi-symplectic conservation law to solve the partial differential equations which are derived from the generalized fifth-order KdV equation numerically. The results of the numerical experiments show that this multi-symplectic algorithm is good in accuracy and its long-time numerical behaviour is also perfect.  相似文献

Bosonization approach to the classical supersymmetric systems is presented. By introducing the multi-fermionic parameters in the expansions of the superfields, the N=1 supersymmetric KdV (sKdV) system is transformed to a system of coupled bosonic equations. The method can be applied to any fermionic systems. By solving the coupled bosonic equations, some novel types of exact solutions can be explicitly obtained. Especially, the richness of the localized excitations of the supersymmetric integrable system is discovered. The rich multi-soliton solutions obtained here have not yet been obtained by using other methods. However, the traditional known multi-soliton solutions can also not be obtained by the bosonization approach of this Letter. Some open problems on the bosonization of the supersymmetric integrable models are proposed in the both classical and quantum levels.  相似文献

We consider a generalized fifth-order KdV equation with time-dependent coefficients exhibiting higher-degree nonlinear terms. This nonlinear evolution equation describes the interaction between a water wave and a floating ice cover and gravity-capillary waves. By means of the subsidiary ordinary differential equation method, some new exact soliton solutions are derived. Among these solutions, we can find the well known bright and dark solitons with sech and tanh function shapes, and other soliton-like solutions. These solutions may be useful to explain the nonlinear dynamics of waves in an inhomogeneous KdV system supporting high-order dispersive and nonlinear effects.  相似文献

A new hamiltonian integro-differential equation is derived having a Lax representation and an infinite set of conserved quantities. This paper applies an extended auxiliary equation method to obtain exact solutions of the KdV equation with variable coefficients. As a result, solitary wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions, rational function solutions, Jacobi elliptic doubly periodic wave solutions, and nonsymmetrical kink solution are obtained. It is shown that the extended auxiliary equation method, with the help of a computer symbolic computation system, is reliable and effective in finding exact solutions of variable coefficient nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献
