In this paper,the problem on periodic solutions of severalclasses of Riccati’s equation with periodic coefficients is dis-cussed,and the conditions,under which several classes of se-condorder equations with periodic coefficients have periodic so-lutions,are given.

In this paper we give some results of integrability and several classes of integrableequations of first-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations.Many known results ofintegrability and integrable equations are special cases of them.They may be applied inphysics and mechanics,and to derive soliton equations and find soliton solutions.

ON STABILITY OF SOLUTIONS OF CERTAIN FOURTH-ORDER DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

By the use of the Liapunov functional approach, a new result is obtained to ascertain the asymptotic stability of zero solution of a certain fourth-order non-linear differential equation with delay. The established result is less restrictive than those reported in the literature.     

ON THE ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOUR OF SOLUTIONS OF CERTAIN FIFTH-ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

The sufficient conditions are given for all solutions of certain non- autonomous differential equation to be uniformly bounded and convergence to zero as t →∞ ?. The result given includes and improves that result obtained by Abou-El-Ela & Sadek .     

EXISTENCE AND COMPARISON RESULTS FOR SOLUTIONS OF RANDOM INTEGRAL AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

This paper is the continuation of.In this paper,we give another criteria of theexistence of solutions for nonlinear random Volterra integral.A comparison theorem andthe existence of random extremal solutions are also obtained by using the notion of orderingwith respect to a cone.Our theorems generalize the corresponding results of Vaughanand Lakshmikantham.

TheC k instability of navier-Stokes equation appending polynomials of unknown functions

Applying the theory of stratification, the solution space structure about a class of deformed Navier-Stokes equation isdetermined. It is proved that such kind of equation has no C^k (k≥2) stable solution by the fact that the strate transversale is a null set. Stochastic differential equations for the kinetic and hydrodynamic equations

A finite system of stochastic interacting particles is considered. The system approximates the solutions of the kinetic equations (the Boltzmann equation, the Boltzmann-Enskog equation) as well as the solutions describing the macroscopic evolution of fluids: the Euler and the Navier-Stokes hydrodynamic equations.

On positive periodic solutions of nonlinear impulsive functional differential equations

Using the Krasnosel’skii theorem on a fixed point of a mapping in a cone, we obtain conditions for the existence of positive, piecewise-smooth, periodic solutions of impulsive functional differential equations. Computable error bounds for approximate periodic solutions of autonomous delay differential equations

In this paper, we prove a result that says: Given an approximate solution and frequency to a periodic solution of an autonomous delay differential equation that satisfies a certain noncriticality condition, there is an exact periodic solution and frequency in a neighborhood of the approximate solution and frequency and, furthermore, numerical estimates of the size of the neighborhood are computed. Methods are outlined for estimating the parameters required to compute the errors. An application to a Van der Pol oscillator with delay in the nonlinear terms is given.

Upwind local differential quandrature method for solving coupled viscous flow and heat transfer equations

The differential quadrature method (DQM) has been applied successfully to solve numerically many problems in the fluid mechanics. But it is only limited to the flow problems in regular regions. At the same time, here is no upwind mechanism to deal with the convective property of the fluid flow in traditional DQ method. A local differential quadrature method owning upwind mechanism (ULDQM) was given to solve the coupled problem of incompressible viscous flow and heat transfer in an irregular region. For the problem of flow past a contraction channel whose boundary does not parallel to coordinate direction, the satisfactory numerical solutions were obtained by using ULDQM with a few grid points. The numerical results show that the ULDQM possesses advantages including well convergence, less computational workload and storage as compared with the low-order finite difference method.
