Second-order optimality conditions for cone-subarcwise connected set-valued optimization problems

The concept of a cone subarcwise connected set-valued map is introduced. Several examples are given to illustrate that the cone subarcwise connected set-valued map is a proper generalization of the cone arcwise connected set-valued map, as well as the arcwise connected set is a proper generalization of the convex set, respectively. Then, by virtue of the generalized second-order contingent epiderivative, second-order necessary optimality conditions are established for a point pair to be a local global proper efficient element of set-valued optimization problems. When objective function is cone subarcwise connected, a second-order sufficient optimality condition is also obtained for a point pair to be a global proper efficient element of set-valued optimization problems.

Optimality conditions of set-valued optimization problem involving relative algebraic interior in ordered linear spaces

In this article, firstly, a generalized cone subconvexlike set-valued map involving the relative algebraic interior is introduced in ordered linear spaces. Secondly, some properties of a generalized cone subconvexlike set-valued map are investigated. Finally, the optimality conditions of set-valued optimization problem are established.     

Higher-Order Optimality Conditions for Set-Valued Optimization

This paper deals with higher-order optimality conditions of set-valued optimization problems. By virtue of the higher-order derivatives introduced in (Aubin and Frankowska, Set-Valued Analysis, Birkhäuser, Boston, [1990]) higher-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are obtained for a set-valued optimization problem whose constraint condition is determined by a fixed set. Higher-order Fritz John type necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are also obtained for a set-valued optimization problem whose constraint condition is determined by a set-valued map.     

Editorial Policy

Using the concept of contingent epiderivative, we generalize the notion of subdifferential to a cone-convex set-valued map. Properties of the subdifferential are presented and an optimality condition is discussed.     

Higher-order optimality conditions for strict and weak efficient solutions in set-valued optimization

In this paper, we introduce a notion of higher-order Studniarski epiderivative of a set-valued map and study its properties. Then, we discuss their applications to optimality conditions in set-valued optimization. Higher-order optimality conditions for strict and weak efficient solutions of a constrained set-valued optimization problem are established. Some remarks on the existing results in the literature are given from our results.
