The title compound, {[N,N‐bis(2‐pyridylmethyl)amino]ethanol‐κ3N,N′,N′′}tricarbonylrhenium(I) bromide methanol solvate, [Re(C14H17N3O)(CO)3]Br·CH4O, has been prepared in almost quantitative yield by reacting (NEt4)2[Re(CO)3Br3] with the ligand N,N‐bispicolyl‐2‐ethanolamine in refluxing methanol. The X‐ray structure revealed that the Re(CO)3N3 coordination sphere is highly distorted from octahedral geometry and that the Re(CO)3 core is facial. The coordinated ligand forms two five‐membered rings, with the pyridine rings in a butterfly formation. The OH group is not involved in metal coordination. The packing of the molecule shows a network of classical O⋯H—O and Br⋯H—O, and non‐classical Br⋯H—C and O⋯H—C hydrogen bonds between the methanol solvate molecules, the metal complex cations and the bromide anions.  相似文献

Two tricarbonyl complexes of rhenium(I) and manganese(I) coordinated by the ligand 2‐{[2‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)ethyl]iminomethyl}‐5‐methylphenolate are reported, viz. fac‐tricarbonyl(2‐{[2‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl‐κN3)ethyl]iminomethyl‐κN}‐5‐methylphenolato‐κO)rhenium(I) methanol monosolvate, [Re(C16H14N3O4)(CO)3]·CH3OH, (I), and fac‐tricarbonyl(2‐{[2‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl‐κN3)ethyl]iminomethyl‐κN}‐5‐methylphenolato‐κO)manganese(I), fac‐[Mn(C16H14N3O4)(CO)3], (II), display facial coordination in a distorted octahedral environment. The crystal structure of (I) is stabilized by O—H...O, N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen‐bond interactions, while that of (II) is stabilized by N—H...O hydrogen‐bond interactions only. These interactions result in two‐dimensional networks and π–π stacking for both structures.  相似文献

The compounds tricarbonyl(η5‐1‐iodocyclopentadienyl)manganese(I), [Mn(C5H4I)(CO)3], (I), and tricarbonyl(η5‐1‐iodocyclopentadienyl)rhenium(I), [Re(C5H4I)(CO)3], (III), are isostructural and isomorphous. The compounds [μ‐1,2(η5)‐acetylenedicyclopentadienyl]bis[tricarbonylmanganese(I)] or bis(cymantrenyl)acetylene, [Mn2(C12H8)(CO)6], (II), and [μ‐1,2(η5)‐acetylenedicyclopentadienyl]bis[tricarbonylrhenium(I)], [Re2(C12H8)(CO)6], (IV), are isostructural and isomorphous, and their molecules display inversion symmetry about the mid‐point of the ligand C[triple‐bond]C bond, with the (CO)3M(C5H4) (M = Mn and Re) moieties adopting a transoid conformation. The molecules in all four compounds form zigzag chains due to the formation of strong attractive I...O [in (I) and (III)] or π(CO)–π(CO) [in (I) and (IV)] interactions along the crystallographic b axis. The zigzag chains are bound to each other by weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds for (I) and (III), while for (II) and (IV) the chains are bound to each other by a combination of weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds and π(Csp2)–π(Csp2) stacking interactions between pairs of molecules. The π(CO)–π(CO) contacts in (II) and (IV) between carbonyl groups of neighboring molecules, forming pairwise interactions in a sheared antiparallel dimer motif, are encountered in only 35% of all carbonyl interactions for transition metal–carbonyl compounds.  相似文献

The title compounds with terminal N‐heterocyclic carbenes, namely octacarbonyl(imidazolidinylidene‐κC2)di‐μ3‐sulfido‐triiron(II)(2 FeFe), [Fe3(C3H6N2)(μ3‐S)2(CO)8], (I), and octacarbonyl(1‐methylimidazo[1,5‐a]pyridin‐3‐ylidene‐κC3)di‐μ3‐sulfido‐triiron(II)(2 FeFe), [Fe3(C8H8N2)(μ3‐S)2(CO)8], (II), have been synthesized. Each compound contains two Fe—Fe bonds and two S atoms above and below a triiron triangle. One of the eight carbonyl ligands deviates significantly from linearity. In (I), dimers generated by an N—H...S hydrogen bond are linked into [001] double chains by a second N—H...S hydrogen bond. These chains are packed by a C—H...O hydrogen bond to yield [101] sheets. In (II), dimers generated by an N—H...S hydrogen bond are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form [111] double chains.  相似文献

The structures of tricarbonyl(formylcyclopentadienyl)manganese(I), [Mn(C6H5O)(CO)3], (I), and tricarbonyl(formylcyclopentadienyl)rhenium(I), [Re(C6H5O)(CO)3], (II), were determined at 100 K. Compounds (I) and (II) both possess a carbonyl group in a trans position relative to the substituted C atom of the cyclopentadienyl ring, while the other two carbonyl groups are in almost eclipsed positions relative to their attached C atoms. Analysis of the intermolecular contacts reveals that the molecules in both compounds form stacks due to short attractive π(CO)...π(CO) and π(CO)...π interactions, along the crystallographic c axis for (I) and along the [201] direction for (II). Symmetry‐related stacks are bound to each other by weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds, leading to the formation of the three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

Carbon monoxide (CO) has recently been identified as a gaseous signaling molecule that exerts various salutary effects in mammalian pathophysiology. Photoactive metal carbonyl complexes (photoCORMs) are ideal exogenous candidates for more controllable and site‐specific CO delivery compared to gaseous CO. Along this line, our group has been engaged for the past few years in developing group‐7‐based photoCORMs towards the efficient eradication of various malignant cells. Moreover, several such complexes can be tracked within cancerous cells by virtue of their luminescence. The inherent luminecscent nature of some photoCORMs and the change in emission wavelength upon CO release also provide a covenient means to track the entry of the prodrug and, in some cases, both the entry and CO release from the prodrug. In continuation of the research circumscribing the development of trackable photoCORMs and also to graft such molecules covalently to conventional delivery vehicles, we report herein the synthesis and structures of three rhenium carbonyl complexes, namely, fac‐tricarbonyl[2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′](4‐vinylpyridine‐κN )rhenium(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate, [Re(C7H7N)(C12H8N2S)(CO)3](CF3SO3), ( 1 ), fac‐tricarbonyl[2‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′](4‐vinylpyridine‐κN )rhenium(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate, [Re(C7H7N)(C16H10N2S)(CO)3](CF3SO3), ( 2 ), and fac‐tricarbonyl[1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N ,N ′](4‐vinylpyridine‐κN )rhenium(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate, [Re(C7H7N)(C12H8N2)(CO)3](CF3SO3), ( 3 ). In all three complexes, the ReI center resides in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. These complexes exhibit CO release upon exposure to low‐power UV light. The apparent CO release rates of the complexes have been measured to assess their comparative CO‐donating capacity. The three complexes are highly luminescent and this in turn provides a convenient way to track the entry of the prodrug molecules within biological targets.  相似文献

In the title complex salt, [Ir(C5H4O)(C16H22N6)(CO)](CF3O3S), the IrIII centre adopts a distorted octahedral geometry with a facial coordination of the tris(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl)methane ligand. The C—C distances of the iridacycle are in agreement with its iridacyclohexa‐2,5‐dien‐4‐one nature, which presents a nonsymmetric boat‐like conformation with the C—Ir—C vertex more bent than the C—C(=O)—C vertex. The supramolecular architecture is mainly directed by CO...CO and CO...π and Csp3—H...O interactions, the arrangement of which depends on the anion.  相似文献

Because of their versatile coordination modes and strong coordination ability for metals, triazole ligands can provide a wide range of possibilities for the construction of metal–organic frameworks. Three transition‐metal complexes, namely bis(μ‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐ide‐3‐carboxylato)‐κ3N 2,O :N 13N 1:N 2,O‐bis[triamminenickel(II)] tetrahydrate, [Ni2(C3HN3O2)2(NH3)6]·4H2O, (I), catena‐poly[[[diamminediaquacopper(II)]‐μ‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐ide‐3‐carboxylato‐κ3N 1:N 4,O‐[diamminecopper(II)]‐μ‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐ide‐3‐carboxylato‐κ3N 4,O :N 1] dihydrate], {[Cu2(C3HN3O2)2(NH3)4(H2O)2]·2H2O}n , (II), (μ‐5‐amino‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐ide‐3‐carboxylato‐κ2N 1:N 2)di‐μ‐hydroxido‐κ4O :O‐bis[triamminecobalt(III)] nitrate hydroxide trihydrate, [Co2(C3H2N4O2)(OH)2(NH3)6](NO3)(OH)·3H2O, (III), with different structural forms have been prepared by the reaction of transition metal salts, i.e. NiCl2, CuCl2 and Co(NO3)2, with 1,2,4‐triazole‐3‐carboxylic acid or 3‐amino‐1,2,4‐triazole‐5‐carboxylic acid hemihydrate in aqueous ammonia at room temperature. Compound (I) is a dinuclear complex. Extensive O—H…O, O—H…N and N—H…O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions between the centroids of the triazole rings contribute to the formation of the three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. Compound (II) exhibits a one‐dimensional chain structure, with O—H…O hydrogen bonds and weak O—H…N, N—H…O and C—H…O hydrogen bonds linking anions and lattice water molecules into the three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. Compared with compound (I), compound (III) is a structurally different dinuclear complex. Extensive N—H…O, N—H…N, O—H…N and O—H…O hydrogen bonding occurs in the structure, leading to the formation of the three‐dimensional supramolecular structure.  相似文献

The Schiff base enaminones (3Z)‐4‐(5‐ethylsulfonyl‐2‐hydroxyanilino)pent‐3‐en‐2‐one, C13H17NO4S, (I), and (3Z)‐4‐(5‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxyanilino)pent‐3‐en‐2‐one, C15H21NO2, (II), were studied by X‐ray crystallography and density functional theory (DFT). Although the keto tautomer of these compounds is dominant, the O=C—C=C—N bond lengths are consistent with some electron delocalization and partial enol character. Both (I) and (II) are nonplanar, with the amino–phenol group canted relative to the rest of the molecule; the twist about the N(enamine)—C(aryl) bond leads to dihedral angles of 40.5 (2) and −116.7 (1)° for (I) and (II), respectively. Compound (I) has a bifurcated intramolecular hydrogen bond between the N—H group and the flanking carbonyl and hydroxy O atoms, as well as an intermolecular hydrogen bond, leading to an infinite one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded chain. Compound (II) has one intramolecular hydrogen bond and one intermolecular C=O...H—O hydrogen bond, and consequently also forms a one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded chain. The DFT‐calculated structures [in vacuo, B3LYP/6‐311G(d,p) level] for the keto tautomers compare favourably with the X‐ray crystal structures of (I) and (II), confirming the dominance of the keto tautomer. The simulations indicate that the keto tautomers are 20.55 and 18.86 kJ mol−1 lower in energy than the enol tautomers for (I) and (II), respectively.  相似文献

The reaction between fluorenyllithium and Mo(η3‐C3H5)Cl(NCMe)2(CO)2 led to the isolation of di‐μ3‐chlorido‐di‐μ3‐hydroxido‐tetrakis[(η3‐allyl)dicarbonylmolybdenum(II)]–9‐fluorenone–tetrahydrofuran (1/1/1), [Mo4(C3H5)4Cl2(OH)2(CO)8]·C4H8O·C13H8O. The tetrametallic Mo4 unit constitutes the first example of a complex containing simultaneously two μ3‐OH groups and two μ3‐Cl anions capping the metallic trigonal prism. The four crystallographically independent Mo2+ centres exhibit distorted octahedral geometry with the η3‐allyl groups being trans‐coordinated to a μ3‐OH group and the carbonyl groups occupying the equatorial plane. Space‐filling tetrahydrofuran and 9‐fluorenone molecules are engaged in strong O—H...O hydrogen‐bonding interactions with Mo43‐allyl)4Cl2(OH)2(CO)8 complexes.  相似文献

The title racemic heterometallic dinuclear compound, [MnSn(C2H2O2S)3(H2O)5], (I), contains one main group SnIV metal centre and one transition metal MnII centre, and, by design, links the MnII centre to the building unit of the (Δ/Λ) [SnL3]2− complex anion (L is the 2‐sulfidoacetate dianion). In this cluster, the SnIV centre of the (Δ/Λ) [SnL3]2− unit is coordinated by three O atoms and three S atoms from three L ligands to form an [SnO3S3] octahedral coordination environment. The MnII centre is in an [MnO6] octahedral coordination environment, with five O atoms from five water molecules and the sixth from the μ2L ligand of the (Δ/Λ) [SnL3]2− unit. Between adjacent dinuclear molecules, there are many hydrogen‐bond interactions of O—H...O, O—H...S, C—H...O and C—H...S types. Of these, eight pairs of O—H...O hydrogen bonds fuse all the dinuclear molecules into two‐dimensional supramolecular sheets along the bc plane. Adjacent supramolecular sheets are further connected through O—H...S hydrogen bonds to give a three‐dimensional supramolecular network.  相似文献

PhotoCORMs (photo‐active CO‐releasing molecules) have emerged as a class of CO donors where the CO release process can be triggered upon illumination with light of appropriate wavelength. We have recently reported an Mn‐based photoCORM, namely [MnBr(pbt)(CO)3] [pbt is 2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole], where the CO release event can be tracked within cellular milieu by virtue of the emergence of strong blue fluorescence. In pursuit of developing more such trackable photoCORMs, we report herein the syntheses and structural characterization of two MnI–carbonyl complexes, namely fac‐tricarbonylchlorido[2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′]manganese(I), [MnCl(C12H8N2S)(CO)3], (1), and fac‐tricarbonylchlorido[2‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′]manganese(I), [MnCl(C16H10N2S)(CO)3], (2). In both complexes, the MnI center resides in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. Weak intermolecular C—H…Cl contacts in complex (1) and Cl…S contacts in complex (2) consolidate their extended structures. These complexes also exhibit CO release upon exposure to low‐power broadband visible light. The apparent CO release rates for the two complexes have been measured to compare their CO donating capacity. The fluorogenic 2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole and 2‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole ligands provide a convenient way to track the CO release event through the `turn‐ON' fluorescence which results upon de‐ligation of the ligands from their respective metal centers following CO photorelease.  相似文献

The crystal structures of fac‐(acetonitrile‐κN)(2‐{[3,5‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐2H‐pyrrol‐2‐ylidene‐κN1]amino}‐3,5‐bis(4‐<!?tlsb=0.2pt>methoxyphenyl)‐1H‐pyrrol‐1‐ido‐κN1)tricarbonylrhenium(I)–hexane–acetonitrile (2/1/2), [Re(C36H30N3O4)(CH3CN)(CO)3]·0.5C6H14·CH3CN, (2), and fac‐(2‐{[3,5‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐2H‐pyrrol‐2‐ylidene‐κN1]amino}‐3,5‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐1H‐pyrrol‐1‐ido‐κN1)tricarbonyl(dimethyl sulfoxide‐κO)rhenium(I), [Re(C36H30N3O4)(C2H6OS)(CO)3], (3), at 150 K are reported. Both complexes display a distorted octahedral geometry, with a fac‐Re(CO)3 arrangement and one azadipyrromethene (ADPM) chelating ligand in the equatorial position. One solvent molecule completes the coordination sphere of the ReI centre in the remaining axial position. The ADPM ligand shows high flexibility upon coordination, while retaining its π‐delocalized nature. Bond length and angle analyses indicate that the differences in the geometry around the ReI centre in (2) and (3), and those found in three reported fac‐Re(CO)3–ADPM complexes, are dictated mainly by steric factors and crystal packing. Both structures display intramolecular C—H...N hydrogen bonding. Intermolecular interactions of the Csp2—H...π and Csp2—H...O(carbonyl) types link the discrete monomers into extended chains.  相似文献

The title organometallic compound, fac‐tricarbonyl‐2κ3C‐(4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine)‐2κ2N,N′‐triphenyl‐1κ3C1‐tin(II)rhenium(I)(Sn—Re), [ReSn(C6H5)3(C12H12N2)(CO)3], contains three unique π–π stacking interactions. The result is an infinite chain of uninterrupted alternating intra‐ and intermolecular offset π–π stacking interactions throughout the crystal lattice. This extended π–π stacking arrangement, and an additional isolated intramolecular π–π interaction between the remaining 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine ring and a second phenyl group, impose geometric constraints on the Re and Sn atoms, yielding distorted octahedral and tetrahedral coordinations, respectively, for the metal centers.  相似文献

The title complex, [Ag2(C7H5O2)2(C18H18F2N2)]n, is a dinuclear silver(I) compound with one inversion centre between pairs of Ag atoms and another at the mid‐point of the central C—C bond in the butane‐1,4‐diamine moiety. Each of the smallest repeat units consists of two silver(I) cations, two benzoate anions and one N,N′‐bis(2‐fluorobenzylidene)butane‐1,4‐diamine Schiff base ligand. Each AgI ion is three‐coordinated in a trigonal configuration by two O atoms from two benzoate anions and one N atom from a Schiff base ligand. The di‐μ‐benzoato‐disilver(I) moieties are linked by the bridging Schiff base ligand, giving zigzag polymeric chains with an [–Ag⋯Ag—N—C—C—C—C—N–]n backbone running along the b axis.  相似文献

Owing to increasing interest in the use of N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) based on imidazolidinium ions as ligands in the design of highly efficient transition‐metal‐based homogeneous catalysts, the characterizations of the 1‐ferrocenylmethyl‐3‐(2,4,6‐trimethylbenzyl)imidazolidin‐3‐ium iodide salt, [Fe(C5H5)(C19H24N2)]I, (I), and the palladium complex trans‐bis(3‐benzyl‐1‐ferrocenylmethyl‐1H‐imidazolidin‐2‐ylidene)diiodidopalladium(II), [Fe2Pd(C5H5)2(C16H17N2)2I2], (II), are reported. Compound (I) has two iodide anions and two imidazolidinium cations within the asymmetric unit (Z′ = 2). The two cations have distinctly different conformations, with the ferrocene groups orientated exo and endo with respect to the N‐heterocyclic carbene. Weak C—H donor hydrogen bonds to both the iodide anions and the π system of the mesitylene group combine to form two‐dimensional layers perpendicular to the crystallographic c direction. Only one of the formally charged imidazolidinium rings forms a near‐linear hydrogen bond with an iodide anion. Complex (II) shows square‐planar coordination around the PdII metal, which is located on an inversion centre (Z′ = 0.5). The ferrocene and benzyl substituents are in a transanti arrangement. The Pd—C bond distance between the N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands and the metal atom is 2.036 (7) Å. A survey of related structures shows that the lengthening of the N—C bonds and the closure of the N—C—N angle seen here on metal complexation is typical of similar NHCs and their complexes.  相似文献

Reaction of bis(2‐pyridylmethyl) ether with [Mo(CO)3(MeCN)3] in MeCN gives the title compound, [Mo(C12H12‐N2O)(CO)3], (I), as a yellow crystalline product. Compound (I) has been characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. In contrast with other examples of low‐valent early transition metal complexes of ethers, the ether linkage of (I) appears relatively inert. Nevertheless, the weak donor property of the ether ligand is evidenced by a trans effect manifested as a short Mo—CO bond length for the carbonyl ligand trans to the ether ligand.  相似文献

Complex fac‐[Fe(CO)3(TePh)3]? was employed as a “metallo chelating” ligand to synthesize the neutral (CO)3Mn(μ‐TePh)3Fe(CO)3 obtained in a one‐step synthesis by treating fac‐[Fe(CO)3(TePh)3]? with fac‐[Mn‐(CO)3(CH3CN)3]+. It seems reasonable to conclude that the d6 Fe(II) [(CO)3Fe(TePh)3]? fragment is isolobal with the d6 Mn(I) [(CO)3Mn(TePh)3]2? fragment in complex (CO)3Mn(μ‐TePh)3Fe(CO)3. Addition of fac‐[Fe(CO)3(TePh)3]? to the CpNi(I)(PPh3) in THF resulted in formation of the neutral CpNi(TePh)(PPh3) also obtained from reaction of CpNi(I)(PPh3) and [Na][TePh] in MeOH. This investigation shows that fac‐[Fe(CO)3(TePh)3]? serves as a tridentate metallo ligand and tellurolate ligand‐transfer reagent. The study also indicated that the fac‐[Fe(CO)3(SePh)3]? may serve as a better tridentate metallo ligand and chalcogenolate ligand‐transfer reagent than fac‐[Fe(CO)3(TePh)3]? in the syntheses of heterometallic chalcogenolate complexes.  相似文献

The title compund, [Cu2(OH)2(C22H25N3)2](ClO4)2, is a copper(II) dimer, with two [CuL]2+ units [L is bis(6‐methyl‐2‐pyridylmethyl)(2‐phenylethyl)amine] bridged by hydroxide groups to define the {[CuL](μ‐OH)2[CuL]}2+ cation. Charge balance is provided by perchlorate counter‐anions. The cation has a crystallographic inversion centre halfway between the CuII ions, which are separated by 3.0161 (8) Å. The central core of the cation is an almost regular Cu2O2 parallelogram of sides 1.931 (2) and 1.935 (2) Å, with a Cu—O—Cu angle of 102.55 (11)°. The coordination geometry around each CuII centre can be best described as a square‐based pyramid, with three N atoms from L ligands and two hydroxide O atoms completing the coordination environment. Each cationic unit is hydrogen bonded to two perchlorate anions by means of hydroxide–perchlorate O—H...O interactions.  相似文献

Heterocubane Cluster Compounds (NEt4){Y=M[(μ3‐S)Re(CO)3]33‐E)} (M = W or Mo, Y = O or S, E = S or Se): Structures, Spectroscopy, and Electrochemistry Thiometallates [MS4]2– (M = Mo, W) or [WOS3]2– react with Re(CO)5(O3SCF3) and Li2E (E = S or Se) to yield the following compounds which were structurally characterized: (NEt4){S=W[(μ3‐S)Re(CO)3]33‐S)}(NEt4) ( 1 ), (NEt4){O/S=W[(μ3‐S)Re(CO)3](μ3‐S)}(NEt4) ( 1 / 2 ), (mixed crystals), (NEt4){S=W[(μ3‐S)Re(CO)3]33‐Se)}(NEt4) ( 3 ) and (NEt4){S=Mo[(μ3‐S)Re(CO)3]33‐S)}(NEt4) ( 4 ). The heterocubane anions 1 – 4 contain electron‐rich centers such as rhenium(I) or sulfide whereas molybdenum(VI) or tungsten(VI) act as acceptor sites. Accordingly, the absorption spectra show long‐wavelength metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer transitions, and cyclic voltammetry reveals a quasi‐reversible reduction of the clusters. Although both six‐coordinate rhenium(I) and four‐coordinate metal(VI) centers are present in the clusters there is no evidence for significant metal‐to‐metal charge transfer interaction.  相似文献
