A comparative study of the reactivity of isolobal rhenium and molybdenum carbonylmetallates containing a borole, in [Re(eta5-C4H4BPh)(CO)3]- (2), a boratanaphthalene, in [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BMe)(CO)3]- (4a) and [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (4b), a boratabenzene, in [Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (6) or a dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand, in [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3]- (7), toward palladium(II), gold(I), mercury(II) and platinum(II) complexes has allowed an evaluation of the role of these pi-bonded ligands on the structures and unprecedented coordination modes observed in the resulting metal-metal bonded, heterometallic complexes. The new metallate 6 was reacted with [AuCl(PPh3)], and with 1 or 2 equiv. HgCl2, which afforded the new heterodinuclear complexes [Au{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}(PPh3)] (Mo-Au) (10) and [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}Cl] (Hg-Mo) (11) and the heterometallic chain complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}2] (Mo-Hg-Mo) (12), respectively. Reactions of the new metallate 7 with HgCl2, trans-[PtCl2(CNt-Bu)2] and trans-[PtCl2(NCPh)2] yielded the heterodinuclear complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}Cl] (Mo-Hg) (15), the heterotrinuclear chain complexes trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(CNt-Bu)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (16) and trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(NCPh)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (17), the mononuclear complex [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3Cl] (18), the lozenge-type cluster [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)8] (19) and the heterodinuclear complex [[upper bond 1 start]Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4N[upper bond 1 end]Me2)(CO)3}(NCPh)Cl](Mo-Pt) (20), respectively. The complexes 11, 16, 17.2THF, 18 and 20 have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction and 20 differs from all other compounds in that the dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand forms a bridge between the metals.  相似文献

Carbophosphazene-based coordination ligands [{NC(NMe(2))}(2){NP(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(2)}] (1), [{NC(NEt)(2)}{NC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}{NP(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(2)}] (2), [NC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)](2)[NP(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(2)] (3), [{NCCl}(2){NP(NC(NMe(2))(2))(2)}] (4), and [{NC(p-OC(5)H(4)N)}(2){NP(NC(NMe(2))(2))(2)}] (5) were synthesized and structurally characterized. In these compounds, the six-membered C(2)N(3)P ring is perfectly planar. The reaction of 1 with CuCl(2) afforded [{NC(NMe(2))}(2){NHP(O)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}·{Cu(3,5-Me(2)PzH)(2)(Cl)}][Cl] (6). The ligand binds to Cu(II) utilizing the geminal [P(O)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)] coordinating unit. Similarly, the reaction of 2 with PdCl(2) afforded, after a metal-assisted P-N hydrolysis, [{NC(NEt)(2)}{NC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}{NP(O)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}·{Pd(3,5-Me(2)PzH)(Cl)}] (7). In the latter, the [P(O)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)] unit does not coordinate; in this instance, the Pd(II) is bound by a ring nitrogen atom and a carbon-tethered pyrazolyl nitrogen atom. The reaction of 3 with PdCl(2) also results in P-N bond hydrolysis affording [{NC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(2)}{NP(O)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}{Pd(Cl)}] (8). In contrast to 7, however, in 8, the Pd(II) elicits a nongeminal η(3) coordination from the ligand involving two carbon-tethered pyrazolyl groups and a ring nitrogen atom. Metalated products could not be isolated in the reaction of 3 with K(2)PtCl(4). Instead, a P-O-P bridged carbodiphosphazane dimer, [{NC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)NHC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)}{NP(O)}](2) (9), was isolated as the major product. Finally, the reaction of 5 with PdCl(2) resulted in [{NC(OC(5)H(4)N)}(2){NP(NC(NMe(2))(2))(2)}·{PdCl(2)}] (10). In the latter, the exocyclic P-N bonds are quite robust and are involved in binding to the metal ion. Compounds 6-10 have been characterized by a variety of techniques including X-ray crystallography. In all of the compounds, the bond parameters of the inorganic heterocyclic rings are affected by metalation.  相似文献

The divalent complex (BQA)PtMe undergoes oxidative addition with MeI to afford the octahedral complex cis-(mer-BQA)PtMe2I {(BQA)- = bis(8-quinolinyl)amide}. When this molecule is irradiated with visible light, it isomerizes to (fac-BQA)PtMe2I, where the BQA ligand adopts an unexpected facial coordination mode. The amide nitrogen in this molecule is sp3 hybridized and can be easily quarternized with HBF4, resulting in [H(fac-BQA)PtMe2I][BF4], with only minor perturbation to the coordination sphere.  相似文献

Treatment of Ba[N(SiMe3)2]2(THF)2 with 2 equiv of dimethylaminotetrazole or diisopropylaminotetrazole and 1 equiv of 18-crown-6 afforded Ba[CN4(NMe2)]2(18-crown-6) (87%) and Ba[CN4(NiPr2)]2(18-crown-6) (79%) as colorless crystalline solids. Ba[CN4(NMe2)]2(18-crown-6) contains two 1,2-eta2-tetrazolato ligands and one eta6-18-crown-6 ligand. The molecular structure of Ba[CN4(NiPr2)]2(18-crown-6) is similar to that of Ba[CN4(NMe2)]2(18-crown-6), except that the tetrazolato ligands exhibit the isomeric 2,3-eta2-coordination mode and the tetrazolato ligand CN4 cores are bent significantly toward the 18-crown-6 ligands. Molecular orbital calculations were carried out on the model complexes Ba(azolate)2(18-crown-6) (azolate = 1,2-eta2-CHN4, 2,3-eta2-CHN4, and eta2-N5) and demonstrate that the ligand coordination modes are influenced by intramolecular interactions between filled nitrogen orbitals on the azolato ligands and empty C-H sigma* orbitals on the 18-crown-6 ligands.  相似文献

The reaction of platinum(IV) complex trans-[PtCl4(EtCN)2] with pyrazoles 3,5-RR'pzH (R/R' = H/H, Me/H, Me/Me) leads to the formation of the trans-[PtCl4{NH=C(Et)(3,5-RR'pz)}2] (1-3) species due to the metal-mediated nitrile-pyrazole coupling. Pyrazolylimino complexes 1-3 (i) completely convert to pyrazole complexes cis-[PtCl4(3,5-RR'pzH)2] by elimination of EtCN upon reflux in a CH2Cl2 solution or upon heating in the solid state; (ii) undergo exchange at the imino C atom with another pyrazole different from that contained in the pyrazolylimino ligand. The reaction of trans-[PtIICl2(EtCN)2] and 3,5-RR'pzH, conducted under conditions similar to those for trans-[PtIVCl4(EtCN)2], is much less selective, and the composition of the products strongly depends on the pyrazole employed: (a) with pzH, the reaction gives a mixture of three products, i.e., [PtCl2NH=C(Et)pz-kappa2N,N}] (4), [PtCl(pzH){NH=C(Et)pz-kappa2N,N}]Cl (5), and [Pt(pzH)2{NH=C(Et)pz-kappa2N,N}]Cl2 (6) (complexes 5 and 6 are rather unstable and gradually transform to trans-[PtCl2(pzH2] and [Pt(pzH)(4)]Cl(2) and free EtCN); (b) with 3,5-Me(2)pzH, the reaction leads to the formation of [PtCl2NH=C(Et)(3,5-Me2pz)-kappa2N,N}] (7) and [PtCl(3,5-Me2pzH)3]Cl (8); (c) in the case of asymmetric pyrazole 3(5)-MepzH, which can be added to EtCN and/or bind metal centers by any of the two nonequivalent nitrogen sites, a broad mixture of currently unidentified products is formed. The reduction of 1-3 with Ph3P=CHCO2Me in CHCl3 allows for the formation of corresponding platinum(II) compounds trans-[PtCl2{NH=C(Et)(3,5-RR'pz)}2] (9-11). Ligands NH=C(Et)(3,5-RR'pz) (12-14) were almost quantitatively liberated from 9-11 with 2 equiv of 1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphino)ethane in CDCl3, giving free imines 12-14 in solution and the precipitate of trans-[Pt(dppe)2](Cl)2. Pyrazolylimines 12-14 undergo splitting in CDCl3 solution at 20-25 degrees C for ca. 20 h to furnish the parent propiononitrile and the pyrazole 3,5-RR'pzH, but they can be synthetically utilized immediately after the liberation.  相似文献

The addition of the tris(pyrazolyl)methane ligand HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3) (pz = pyrazolyl ring) to a THF solution of TlPF(6) results in the immediate precipitation of {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Tl}PF(6). The structure has been determined crystallographically. The arrangement of the nitrogen donor atoms about the thallium is best described as a trigonally distorted octahedron. The thallium atom sits on a crystallographic center of inversion; thus the planes formed by the three nitrogen donor atoms of each ligand are parallel. The Tl-N bond distances range from 2.891(5) to 2.929(5) ? (average = 2.92) ?. The lone pair on thallium is clearly stereochemically inactive and does not appear to influence the structure. The pyrazolyl rings are planar, but are tilted with respect to the thallium atom so as to open up the N.N intraligand bite distances. The thallium(I) complex with a ligand to metal ratio of 1/1, {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Tl}PF(6), is prepared in acetone by the reaction of equimolar amounts of HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3) and TlPF(6). The structure of the cation is a trigonal pyramid, with Tl-N bond distances that range from 2.64(1) to 2.70(1) ? (average = 2.67) ?. Pyrazolyl ring tilting is also observed in this complex, but the degree of tilting is smaller. Crystal data for {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Tl}PF(6): monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 9.210(6) ?, b = 13.36(1) ?, c = 16.067(8) ?, beta = 92.48(5) degrees, V = 1975(2) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.029. For {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Tl}PF(6): monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 10.685(2) ?, b = 16.200(5) ?, c = 13.028(3) ?, beta = 94.02(2) degrees, V = 2249.6(8) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.042.  相似文献

Iron(II)-phenylpyruvate complexes of tetradentate tris(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine (6-Me3-TPA) and tridentate benzyl bis(2-quinolinylmethyl)amine (Bn-BQA) were prepared to gain insight into C-C bond cleavage catalyzed by dioxygenase enzymes. The complexes we have prepared and characterized are [Fe(6-Me3-tpa)(prv)][BPh4] (1), [Fe2(6-Me3-tpa)2(pp)][(BPh4)2] (2), and [Fe2(6-Me3-tpa)2(2'-NO2-pp)][(BPh4)2] (3), [Fe(6-Me3-tpa)(pp-Me)][BPh4] (4), [Fe(6-Me3-tpa)(CN-pp-Et)][BPh4] (5), and [Fe(Bn-bqa)(pp)] (8), in which PRV is pyruvate, PP is the enolate form of phenylpyruvate, 2'-NO2-PP is the enolate form of 2'-nitrophenylpyruvate, PP-Me is the enolate form of methyl phenylpyruvate, and CN-PP-Et is the enolate form of ethyl-3-cyanophenylpyruvate. The structures of mononuclear complexes 1 and 5 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both the PRV ligand in 1 and the CN-PP-Et ligand in 5 bind to the iron(II) center in a bidentate manner and form 5-membered chelate rings, but the alpha-keto moiety is in the enolate form in 5 with concomitant loss of a C-H(beta) proton. The PP ligands of 2, 3, 4, and 8 react with dioxygen to form benzaldehyde and oxalate products, which indicates that the C2-C3 PP bond is cleaved, in contrast to cleavage of the C1-C2 bond previously observed for complexes that do not contain alpha-ketocarboxylate ligands in the enolate form. These reactions serve as models for metal-containing dioxygenase enzymes that catalyze the cleavage of aliphatic C-C bonds.  相似文献

The new copper(I) nitro complex [(Ph(3)P)(2)N][Cu(HB(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3))(NO(2))] (2), containing the anionic hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate ligand, was synthesized, and its structural features were probed using X-ray crystallography. Complex 2 was found to cocrystallize with a water molecule, and X-ray crystallographic analysis showed that the resulting molecule had the structure [(Ph(3)P)(2)N][Cu(HB(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3))(NO(2))]·H(2)O (3), containing a water hydrogen bonded to an oxygen of the nitrite moiety. This complex represents the first example in the solid state of an analogue of the nitrous acid intermediate (CuNO(2)H). A comparison of the nitrite reduction reactivity of the electron-rich ligand containing the CuNO(2) complex 2 with that of the known neutral ligand containing the CuNO(2) complex [Cu(HC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3))(NO(2))] (1) shows that reactivity is significantly influenced by the electron density around the copper and nitrite centers. The detailed mechanisms of nitrite reduction reactions of 1 and 2 with acetic acid were explored by using density functional theory calculations. Overall, the results of this effort show that synthetic models, based on neutral HC(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3) and anionic [HB(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(3)](-) ligands, mimic the electronic influence of (His)(3) ligands in the environment of the type II copper center of copper nitrite reductases (Cu-NIRs).  相似文献

An N-Alkyl bipyridinium having a polymethylene chain and a bulky aryl group at the end, [4,4'-bpy-N-(CH2)10OC6H(3)-3,5-tBu2]Cl (Cl), reacts with K[PtCl3(dmso)] to produce the Pt complex with the N-alkyl bipyridinium ligand [Cl2(dmso)Pt{4,4'-bpy-N-(CH2)10OC6H(3)-3,5-tBu2}][PtCl3(dmso)] as a 6:1 mixture of trans and cis isomers ([trans-][PtCl3(dmso)] and [cis-][PtCl3(dmso)]). Addition of alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD) to a solution of Cl in dmso-d6/D2O (3:1) forms [2]pseudorotaxane [{4,4'-bpy-N-(CH2)10OC6H(3)-3,5-tBu2}.(alpha-CD)]Cl (Cl) which is equilibrated with Cl and alpha-CD in solution. The reaction of K[PtCl3(dmso)] with Cl affords the [2]rotaxane [trans-Cl2(dmso)Pt{4,4'-bpy-N-(CH2)10OC6H(3)-3,5-tBu2}.(alpha-CD)][PtCl3(dmso)] ([trans-][PtCl3(dmso)]) which contains alpha-CD and [trans-][PtCl3(dmso)] as the cyclic and axis components, respectively. Dissolution of a mixture of [trans-][PtCl3(dmso)], [cis-][PtCl3(dmso)] and alpha-CD in dmso-d6/D2O (3:1) forms a mixture of the rotaxanes containing [trans--d6][PtCl3(dmso)] and [cis--d6][PtCl3(dmso)]. The reaction involves partial dissociation of the bipyridinium from Pt of [trans-][PtCl3(dmso)] or [cis-][PtCl3(dmso)] to yield [PtCl3(dmso)] and formation of pseudorotaxane with alpha-CD, followed by recoordination of the bipyridinium to the Pt. The reversible formation of the Pt-N coordination bond is studied in a dmso solution of the N-butyl compounds [trans-Cl2(dmso)Pt{4,4'-bpy-N-nBu}][PtCl3(dmso)] ([trans-][PtCl3(dmso)]).  相似文献

N-Arylamido complexes of zirconium in which the amido functional group is attached to an o-(alkyliminoethyl) substituted aromatic ring, have been synthesised by salt elimination reactions and characterised by spectroscopic and diffraction methods; they are analogous to the N-silylamido species recently reported (Dalton Trans., 2002, 3290-3299). The ligands 2-[CyN=C(CH(3))]C(6)H(4)N(H)(xyl), L(xyl)H, and 2-[CyN=C(CH(3))]C(6)H(4)N(H)(mes) L(mes)H, Cy = C(6)H(11), xyl = 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3) mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2), were prepared in good yields by Buchwald-Hartwig amination of the arylbromides with 2-[CyN=C(CH(3))]C(6)H(4)NH(2). Reaction of L(mes)Li with Zr(NEt(2))(2)Cl(2)(thf)(2) gave after chloride substitution the arylamido ketimino complex L(mes)Zr(NEt(2))(2)Cl 1; variable amounts of the arylamido vinylamido complex 2 were also obtained. Interaction of L(mes)Li or L(xyl)Li with Ti(NMe(2))(2)Cl(2) gave rise to the tripodal bis-amido amino complexes 5 and 6 possibly formed by ligand rearrangement involving migration of the dimethylamido group to the ketimino carbon.  相似文献

The boron-bridged constrained geometry titanium complexes [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C5H4)B(NR2)NPh](NMe2)2][R = iPr (3), SiMe3(4)] and [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C9H6)B(NiPr2)NPh](NMe2)2](12) have been prepared in good yields by amine elimination reaction from [Ti(NMe2)4]. Subsequent deamination-chlorination with excess Me3SiCl yielded the corresponding dichloro-complexes (5, 6, 13). Reaction of the analogous ligand precursors (C5H5)B(NiPr2)N(H)R (R = Cy, tBu) with [Ti(NMe2)4] did not result in the expected bridged compounds, but rather in the half-sandwich complexes [Ti[(eta5-C5H4)B(NiPr2)N(H)R](NMe2)3][R = Cy (9), tBu (10)]. All compounds were fully characterised by means of multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. Thorough investigation of substituent effects was achieved by comparative X-ray diffraction studies on complexes 3, 5, 6 and 12.  相似文献

The ligand precursors P(CH2NH-3,5-(CF3)2C6H3)3 (1a), P(CH2NHPh)3 (1b), and P(CH2NH-3,5-Me2C6H3)3 (1c), react with the reagents Ti(NMe2)4 and tBuN=Ta(NEt2)3 to generate metal complexes of the type P(CH2NAr(R))3TiNMe2 (2a-c) and P(CH2NAr(R))3Ta=NtBu (3a-c) (where Ar(R) = 3,5-(CF3)2C6H3, Ph, and 3,5-Me2C6H3). Due to ring strain, the phosphine lone pair cannot chelate and is available to bind a second metal, and this feature can be utilized to synthesize heterometallic polynuclear complexes. The 31P chemical shifts observed upon complexation of the early transition metals to the amido donors are large and in the opposite direction expected for the increased C-P-C bond angles in these complexes; these unusual shifts are due to P-Ti and P-Ta distances that are significantly shorter than the sum of van der Waals radii. The reaction of 2c with Ni(CO)4 produces at first the bimetallic complex (CO)3Ni[P(CH2N-3,5-Me2C6H3)3TiNMe2] (4c), which gradually converts to the trimetallic complex (CO)2Ni[P(CH2N-3,5-Me2C6H3)3TiNMe2]2 (5c). The effect of the complexation of Ti and Ta fragments on the donor ability of the phosphine ligand was determined by the preparation of the bis-phosphine complexes trans-L(2)Rh(CO)Cl, (where L = 1a-c, 2a-c, and 3a-c) prepared by the reaction of the appropriate phosphine with [Rh(CO)2(mu-Cl)]2, and a measurement of the resultant CO stretching frequencies. Surprisingly, the complexes with the larger C-P-C angles are significantly poorer donors. Density functional theory calculations were performed to determine what factors affect the donor ability of the phosphine and if through-space interactions might play an important role in the observed electronic properties.  相似文献

A family of rare earth metal bis(amide) complexes bearing monoanionic amidinate [RC(N-2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))(2)](-) (R = cyclohexyl (Cy), phenyl (Ph)) as ancillary ligands were synthesized and characterized. One-pot salt metathesis reaction of anhydrous LnCl(3) with one equivalent of amidinate lithium [RC(N-2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))(2)]Li, following the introduction of two equivalents of NaN(SiMe(3))(2) in THF at room temperature afforded the neutral and unsolvated mono(amidinate) rare earth metal bis(amide) complexes [RC(N-2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))(2)]Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (R = Cy (1); R = Ph (2)), and the "ate" mono(amidinate) rare earth metal bis(amide) complex [CyC(N-2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))(2)]Lu[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) (3) in 61-72% isolated yields. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, and X-ray single crystal diffraction. Single crystal structural determination revealed that the central metal in complexes 1 and 2 adopts a distorted tetrahedral geometry, and in complex 3 forms a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. In the presence of AlMe(3), and in combination with one equimolar amount of [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], complexes 1 and 2 showed high activity towards isoprene polymerization to give high molecular weight polyisoprene (M(n) > 10(4)) with good cis-1,4 selectivity (>90%).  相似文献

Group 4 metal complexes [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole, M = Ti; R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr) containing the tetramethylcyclopentadienyl-dialkylsilyl bridged amidinato as pendant ligand, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, solution (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopy and experimental (13)C and (15)N CPMAS in the solid state. The crystal structures of [Ti(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. All compounds exhibit a distorted tetrahedral geometry, with the ansa-monocyclopentadienyl-amido ligands acting in a bidentate mode. The [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr, Ti) complexes are ethylene polymerization catalysts in the presence of MAO and they are active precursors in regioselective catalytic hydroamination operating with an anti-Markovnikov mechanism.  相似文献

Treating a thf (thf = tetrahydrofuran) suspension of Cd(acac)(2) (acac = acetylacetonate) with 2 equiv of HBF(4).Et(2)O results in the immediate formation of [Cd(2)(thf)(5)](BF(4))(4) (1). Crystallization of this complex from thf/CH(2)Cl(2) yields [Cd(thf)(4)](BF(4))(2) (2), a complex characterized in the solid state by X-ray crystallography. Crystal data: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.784(2) ?, b = 10.408(2) ?, c = 14.632(7) ?, beta = 94.64(3) degrees, V = 1181.5(6) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.0484. The geometry about the cadmium is octahedral with a square planar arrangement of the thf ligands and a fluorine from each (BF(4))(-) occupying the remaining two octahedral sites. Reactions of [Cd(2)(thf)(5)](BF(4))(4) with either HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3) or HC(3-Phpz)(3) yield the dicationic, homoleptic compounds {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Cd}(BF(4))(2) (3) and {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)](2)Cd}(BF(4))(2) (4) (pz = 1-pyrazolyl). The solid state structure of 3 has been determined by X-ray crystallography. Crystal data: rhombohedral, R&thremacr;, a = 12.236(8) ?, c = 22.69(3) ?, V = 2924(4) ?(3), Z = 3, R = 0.0548. The cadmium is bonded to the six nitrogen donor atoms in a trigonally distorted octahedral arrangement. Four monocationic, mixed ligand tris(pyrazolyl)methane-tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)][HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (5), {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)][HB(3-Phpz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (6), {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)][HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (7), and {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)][HB(3-Phpz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (8) are prepared by appropriate conproportionation reactions of 3or 4 with equimolar amounts of the appropriate homoleptic neutral tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes [HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Cd or [HB(3-Phpz)(3)](2)Cd. Solution (113)Cd NMR studies on complexes 3-8 demonstrate that the chemical shifts of the new cationic, tris(pyrazolyl)methane complexes are very similar to the neutral tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes that contain similar substitution of the pyrazolyl rings.  相似文献

The reactivity of isolobal molybdenum carbonylmetalates containing a 2-boratanaphthalene, [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BMe)(CO)3]- (5a) and [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (5b), a 1-boratabenzene, [Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (8), or a functionalized cyclopentadienyl ligand, the new metalate [Mo(eta5-C5H4Ph)(CO)3]- (7) and [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3]- (9), toward palladium (I and II) or platinum (I and II) complexes, such as trans-[PdCl2(NCPh)2], [Pd2(NCMe)6](BF4)2, trans-[PtCl2(PEt3)2], and [N(n-Bu)4]2 [Pt2Cl4(CO)2], has been investigated, and this has allowed an evaluation of the influence of the pi-bonded ligands on the structures and unprecedented coordination modes observed in the resulting metal-metal-bonded heterometallic clusters. The new 58 CVE planar-triangulated centrosymmetric clusters, [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H4Ph)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (11), [Mo2Pd2(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)2(CO)6] (12), [Mo(2)Pd(2)(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)2(CO)6] (13), [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (15), [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (16), and [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)8] (20), have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Their structural features were compared with those of the 54 CVE cluster [Re2Pd2(eta5-C4H4BPh)2(CO)6)] (4), previously obtained from the borole-containing metalate [Re(eta5-C4H4BPh)(CO)3]- (2), in which a 2e-3c B-C(ipso)-Pd interaction involving the pi-ring was observed. As an extension of what has been observed in 4, clusters 12 and 13 present a direct interaction of the boratanaphthalene (12) and the boratabenzene (13) ligands with palladium. In clusters 11, 15, 16, and 20, the pi-ring does not interact with the palladium (11 and 15) or platinum centers (16 and 20), which confers to these clusters a geometry very similar to that of [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H5)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (3b). The carbonylmetalates [Mo(pi-ring)(CO)3]- are thus best viewed as formal four electron donors which bridge a dinuclear d9-d9 unit. The orientation of this building block in the clusters influences the shape of their metal cores and the bonding mode of the bridging carbonyl ligands. The crystal structure of new centrosymmetric complex [Mo(eta5-C5H4Ph)(CO)3]2 (10) was determined, and it revealed intramolecular contacts of 2.773(4) A between the carbon atoms of carbonyl groups across the metal-metal bond and intermolecular bifurcated interactions between the carbonyl oxygen atoms (2.938(4) and 3.029(4) A), as well as intermolecular C-H...pi(Ar)(C=C) interactions (2.334(3) and 2.786(4) A) involving the phenyl substituents.  相似文献

Aryl bromides react with (H(2)NCH(2)CH(2))(3)N in a reaction catalyzed by Pd(2)(dba)(3) in the presence of BINAP and NaO-t-Bu to give the arylated derivatives (ArylNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N [Aryl = C(6)H(5) (1a), 4-FC(6)H(4) (1b), 4-t-BuC(6)H(4) (1c), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (1d), 3,5-Ph(2)C(6)H(3) (1e), 3,5-(4-t-BuC(6)H(4))(2)C(6)H(3) (1f), 2-MeC(6)H(4) (1g), 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2) (1h)]. Reactions between (ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N (Ar = C(6)H(5), 4-FC(6)H(4), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3), and 3,5-Ph(2)C(6)H(3)) and Mo(NMe(2))(4) in toluene at 70 degrees C lead to [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]Mo(NMe(2)) complexes in yields ranging from 64 to 96%. Dimethylamido species (Ar = 4-FC(6)H(4), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3)) could be converted into paramagnetic [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl species by treating them with 2,6-lutidinium chloride in tetrahydrofuran (THF). The "direct reaction" between 1a-f and MoCl(4)(THF)(2) in THF followed by 3 equiv of MeMgCl yielded [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl species (3a-f) in high yield. If 4 equiv of LiMe instead of MeMgCl are employed in the direct reaction, then [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoMe species are formed. Tungsten species, [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]WCl, could be prepared by analogous "direct" methods. Cyclic voltammetric studies reveal that MoCl complexes become more difficult to reduce as the electron donating ability of the [ArylNCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]3- ligand increases, and the reductions become less reversible, consistent with ready loss of chloride from ([(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl)(-). Tungsten complexes are more difficult to reduce, and reductions are irreversible on the CV time scale.  相似文献

Two different monoanionic O,N-chelating ligand systems, i.e., [OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6]- (1) and [OCMe2([2]-Py)]- (2), have been applied in the synthesis of vanadium(V) complexes. The tertiary amine functionality in 1 caused reduction of the vanadium nucleus to the 4+ oxidation state with either [VOCl3], [V(=NR)Cl3], or [V(=NR)(NEt2)3] (R = Ph, (3a, 5a), R = p-Tol (3b, 5b)), and applying 1 as a reducing agent resulted in the synthesis of the vanadium(IV) complexes [VO(OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6)2] (4) and [V(=NPh)(OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6)2] (6). In the case of [V(=N-p-Tol)(NEt2)(OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6)2] (7b), the reduction was sufficiently slow to allow its characterization by 1H NMR and variable-temperature studies showed it to be a five-coordinate species in solution. Although the reaction of 1 with [V(=N-p-Tol)(O-i-Pr)3] (9b) did not result in reduction of the vanadium nucleus, vanadium(V) compounds could not be isolated. Mixtures of the vanadium(V) (mono)phenolate, [V(=N-p-Tol)(O-i-Pr)2(OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6)] (10), and the vanadium(V) (bis)phenolate, [V(=N-p-Tol)(O-i-Pr)(OC6H2(CH2NMe2)-2-Me2-4,6)2] (11), were obtained. With the pyridylalkoxide 2, no reduction was observed and the vanadium(V) compounds [VOCl2(OCMe2([2]-Py))] (12) and [V(=N-p-Tol)Cl2(OCMe2([2]-Py)] (13) were obtained. 51V NMR showed 7b and 12 to be five-coordinate in solution, whereas for 10, 11, and 13 a coordination number of 6 was found. Compounds 12 and 13 showed decreased activity compared to their nonchelated vanadium(V) analogues when applied as catalysts in ethene polymerization. Two polymorphic forms with a difference in the V-N-C angle of 12.5 degrees have been found for 6.
