Using ST-cut quartz crystal plates as an example, a new type of normal modes of acoustic vibrations is described. The modes propagate along the x axis with a velocity close or equal to that of longitudinal bulk waves propagating in the same direction and have a longitudinal component of elastic displacement no less than two orders of magnitude greater than the two other components (the shear-horizontal and shear-vertical ones) throughout the whole plate thickness. The domain of existence of the quasi-longitudinal modes consists of a set of limited zones that contain the “allowed” values of the plate thickness H/λ (H is the plate thickness and λ is the wavelength) and are separated by “forbidden” zones corresponding to common Lamb modes. The closeness (or coincidence) of the velocities of a quasi-longitudinal mode in the plate and a longitudinal bulk wave in an unbounded crystal is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the existence of the aforementioned type of modes in ST,x quartz.  相似文献

This study deals with the large amplitude axisymmetric free vibrations of cylindrically orthotropic thin circular plates resting on elastic foundations. Geometric non-linearity due to moderately large deflections has been included. Movable and immovable simply supported plates and immovable clamped plates resting on Winkler, Pasternak and non-linear Winkler foundations have been considered. The von Kármán type governing equations have been employed. Harmonic vibrations are assumed and the time t is eliminated by the Kantorovich averaging method. An orthogonal point collocation method is used for spatial discretization. Numerical results are presented for the linear natural frequency of the first axisymmetric mode and for the ratio of the non-linear period to the linear period of natural vibration. The effects of foundation parameters, the orthotropic parameter and the edge conditions on the non-linear vibration behaviour have been investigated.  相似文献

The characteristics of the three lowest order plate waves (A(0), S(0), and SH(0)) propagating in piezoelectric plates whose thickness h is much less than the acoustic wavelength lambda are theoretically analyzed. It is found that these waves can provide much higher values of electromechanical coupling coefficient K(2) and lower values of temperature coefficient of delay (TCD) than is possible with surface acoustic waves (SAWs). For example, in 30Y-X lithium niobate, the SH(0) mode has K(2)=0.46 and TCD=55 ppm/degrees C. The corresponding values for SAW in the widely used, strong coupling material of 128Y-X lithium niobate are K(2)=0.053 and TCD=75 ppm/degrees C. Another important advantage of plate waves is that, unlike the case of SAWs, they can operate satisfactorily in contact with a liquid medium, thus making possible their use in liquid phase sensors.  相似文献

An approximate solution for the large deflection axisymmetric responses of isotropic thin circular plates resting on Winkler, Pasternak and non-linear Winkler foundations is presented. Plates with edges elastically restrained against rotation and -in-plane displacement are considered. Von Kármán type equations in terms of transverse deflection and stress function are employed. A one term mode shape is used to approximate the transverse deflection and Galerkin's method is used to obtain an equation for the central deflection which has the form of a Duffing's equation. Non-linear frequencies, postbuckling response to radial load at the edge and the maximum transient response to transverse step load have been obtained. It is shown that sufficiently accurate results are obtained by this method. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the effect of various parameters.  相似文献

Relations between the amplitudes of acoustic waves excited by a thin elastic plate under the effect of external forces and the amplitudes of waves scattered by this plate are obtained. Two cases are considered: when the plate separates acoustic media filling two half-spaces and when it separates acoustic media filling an acoustic waveguide. The energy conservation law is used to derive the identities that determine the relations between the amplitudes of acoustic waves radiated by a thin elastic plate under the action of forces.  相似文献

为了将超声聚焦效应应用于工业加工中的冷却技术中,该文提出一种由夹心式换能器纵向振动驱动球面弯曲振动超声聚焦系统。基于基尔霍夫-亥姆霍兹声场理论分析了由换能器中心面纵向振动和球面弯曲振动组成的复合超声振动条件下的声场聚焦特性,并通过实验进行验证。研究结果表明,该聚焦系统具有显著的聚焦特性,球面弯曲振动将声能汇聚在声场焦区;当声场相位相同时,换能器中心面纵向振动和球面弯曲振动产生的声场在焦区发生叠加,可以进一步提高焦区声压;减小换能器中心面半径和球面曲率半径、增加球面开口半径可以增强复合超声振动的聚焦效果。  相似文献

To solve problems of transverse vibration of thin, rectangular plates with different edge flexibility coefficients polynomial co-ordinate functions are used which identically satisfy the boundary conditions. It is shown that by a proper combination of the polynomials several modes of vibrations can be analyzed with a minimum amount of labour. A variational formulation is used to generate the frequency equation. Eigenvalues calculated by using a two-term approximation seem to possess extremely good accuracy, at least from an engineering viewpoint. It is also shown that the effect of in-plane forces or the case where the plate is supported on a Winkler-type foundation can be studied without any formal difficulties.  相似文献

The appropriate method often used for calculating the bending vibration of a single rectangular plate is extended to calculate the bending vibrations of a global system of combinations of rectangular plates with elastically supported and damped non-coupled edges. Two examples, a series of T-combinations and an L-combination of rectangular thin isotropic plates, are considered and the input and transfer mobilities due to point excitation derived. Numerical results are presented for the case of combinations of concrete plates and the effects of varying the material damping of the plates and edge damping are investigated.The eigenfrequencies of an L-combination of plates with one plate of very high bending stiffness are calculated and results compare well with the eigenfrequencies of a single plate calculated by means of the classical Ritz-Rayleigh method.  相似文献

Vibration intensity technique is used to measure vibration power transmission in thin single layer technical orthotropic plates for flexural waves. Measurement of flexural wave power is carried out in far-field conditions. All measurements are undertaken in the frequency domain using the cross-spectra of acceleration signals, facilitating the use of FFT analyzer. The two-transducer technique applicable to these plates is used for these measurements. Technical orthotropic (rectangular corrugation) plates of steel are used for the measurements. One isotropic plate of steel is also considered for comparison. Method of elastic equivalence technique is used. Both input power and vibration power transmission through the plates are estimated. Far-field power is normalized with the input power for flexural wave. Influence of flexural rigidity on vibration energy transfer is also investigated.  相似文献

基于kriging模型建立了水下结构振动声辐射计算的代理模型,可对水下结构的共振频率和声功率级进行预测。还将主分量分解和kriging模型相结合建立了可对整个计算频段内的振动声辐射响应进行预测的代理模型。这些代理模型可以基于样本信息在整个设计空间对水下结构的振动声辐射响应进行实时预测。文中以水下加筋板的振动声辐射为例进行了代理模型的构造和验证。计算结果表明:使用基于kriging方法的代理模型预测水下结构的共振频率及声功率级具有非常高的精度;使用基于主分量分解和kriging模型的代理模型预测整个计算频段内非共振频率处的声功率级响应也具有很好的精度。在水下结构振动声辐射的设计优化中,可以根据需要单独或联合使用这些代理模型。  相似文献

This paper presents solutions to a number of problems posed for the out-of-plane displacement of infinite thin elastic plates that are rigidly pinned in periodic configurations, but that possess a finite number of ‘defects’. We begin by considering a single one-dimensional periodic array of pins. We derive an analytic solution for the displacement produced by the forced oscillation of the central pin in the array, and this solution is shown to be closely connected to the problem of scattering of plane waves by an array when a finite number of pins are removed. Attention then focuses on doubly periodic rectangular arrays of pinned points possessing defects. Central to approaching such problems is an understanding of Bloch–Floquet waves in periodic arrays in the absence of defects and a simple method is described for computing the associated dispersion surfaces. The solutions to three problems are then sought: the trapping of localised waves by a finite number of missing pins; trapping of waves by entire rows of missing pins; and the wave radiation pattern due to the forcing of a single pin. All problems are treated analytically using bounded Green's functions for thin elastic plates, a discrete Fourier transform solution method and simple, explicit and rapidly convergent evaluations of the one- and two-dimensional lattice sums that arise.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the natural vibration of thin circular and annular plates using Hamiltonian approach. It is based on the conservation principle of mixed energy and is constructed in a new symplectic space. A set of Hamiltonian dual equations with derivatives with respect to the radial coordinate on one side of the equations and to the angular coordinate on the other side are obtained by using the variational principle of mixed energy. The separation of variables is employed to solve Hamiltonian dual equations of eigenvalue problem. Analytical frequency equations are obtained based on different cases of boundary conditions. The natural frequencies are the roots of the frequency equations and corresponding mode functions are in terms of the dual variables q1(r, θ). Three basic edge-constraint cases for circular plates and nine edge-constraint cases for annular plates are calculated and the results are compared well with existing ones.  相似文献

This paper presents a method of theoretical treatment of acoustic coupling due to flexural vibration of perforated plates and plates of porous elastic materials. The analytical model is developed by introducing flow continuity at the plate surface in a spatially mean sense and air-solid interaction within the plate material. To demonstrate the method of application, some fundamental acoustic problems based on a classical thin-plate theory are analyzed and discussed in relation to the interactive effect of flexural vibration and plate permeability. For acoustic radiation from a vibrating plate excited by a harmonic point-force, the attenuation effect of power radiation appears at frequencies below the critical frequency of coincidence. In the problem of sound absorption of a perforated plate or a plate of porous elastic material backed by an air layer, as permeability decreases, the effect of plate vibration increases. For perforated absorber systems including plate vibration effects, the trend of variation from ordinary theory depends on plate thickness.  相似文献

A nonlinear acoustic effect was observed experimentally in a freely suspended ferroelectric liquid-crystal film. The effect consisted of a change in the frequency of the film bending vibrations under the action of a varying electric field. In this study, we design periodic grille structures on a single homogenous thin plate to achieve anisotropic acoustic metamaterials that can control flexural waves. The metamaterials can achieve the bending control of flexural waves in a thin plate at will by designing only one dimension in the thickness direction, which makes it easier to use this metamaterial to design transformation acoustic devices. The numerical simulation results show that the metamaterials can accurately control the bending waves over a wide frequency range. The experimental results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis. This research provides a more practical theoretical method of controlling flexural waves in thin-plate structures.  相似文献
