We investigate the reflection near the reststrahlen band of the optical phonon in bulk GaAs in the time domain, using time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy. We find that the dynamics of the reflection measured for GaAs differs strongly from the reflection dynamics that would be expected for a TO phonon with a frequency-independent dephasing time.  相似文献

Using time-domain terahertz spectroscopy we performed direct studies of the photoinduced suppression and recovery of the superconducting gap in a conventional BCS superconductor NbN. Both processes are found to be strongly temperature and excitation density dependent. The analysis of the data with the established phenomenological Rothwarf-Taylor model enabled us to determine the bare quasiparticle recombination rate, the Cooper pair-breaking rate and the electron-phonon coupling constant, λ=1.1±0.1, which is in excellent agreement with theoretical estimates.  相似文献

An ultrafast optical response is studied in a quasi-one-dimensional halogen-bridged mixed-valence metal complex [Pt(en)(2)] [Pt(en)2I2] (ClO4)(4) with ultrafast time resolution. Wave packet motions both in the ground and self-trapped exciton (STE) states are observed as oscillatory modulations in the time-resolved reflectivity. The wave packet motion on the STE potential surface begins after about 50 fs with respect to the photoexcitation. This delay is attributed to the lattice relaxation from the free exciton state to the STE state.  相似文献

本文采用光抽运-太赫兹探测技术系统研究了低温生长砷化镓(LT-GaAs)中光生载流子的超快动力学过程.光激发LT-GaAs薄层电导率峰值随抽运光强增加而增加,最后达到饱和,其饱和功率为54μJ/cm~2.当载流子浓度增大时,电子间的库仑相互作用将部分屏蔽缺陷对电子的俘获概率,从而导致LT-GaAs的快速载流子俘获时间随抽运光强增加而变长.光激发薄层电导率的色散关系可以用Cole-Cole Drude模型很好地拟合,结果表明LT-GaAs内部载流子的散射时间随抽运光强增加和延迟时间(产生光和抽运光)变长而增加,主要来源于电子-电子散射以及电子-杂质缺陷散射共同贡献,其中电子-杂质缺陷散射的强度与光激发薄层载流子浓度密切相关,并可由散射时间分布函数α来描述.通过对光激发载流子动力学、光激发薄层电导率以及迁移率变化的研究,我们提出适当增加缺陷浓度,可以进一步降低载流子迁移率和寿命,为研制和设计优良的THz发射器提供了实验依据.  相似文献

We have used point-projection K-shell absorption spectroscopy to infer the ionization and recombination dynamics of transient aluminum plasmas. Two femtosecond beams of the 100 TW laser at the LULI facility were used to produce an aluminum plasma on a thin aluminum foil (83 or 50 nm), and a picosecond x-ray backlighter source. The short-pulse backlighter probed the aluminum plasma at different times by adjusting the delay between the two femtosecond driving beams. Absorption x-ray spectra at early times are characteristic of a dense and rather homogeneous plasma. Collisional-radiative atomic physics coupled with hydrodynamic simulations reproduce fairly well the measured average ionization as a function of time.  相似文献

The two-dimensional layered transition metal dichalcogenides provide new opportunities in future valley-based information processing and also provide an ideal platform to study excitonic effects. At the center of various device physics toward their possible electronic and optoelectronic applications is understanding the dynamical evolution of various manyparticle electronic states, especially exciton which dominates the optoelectronic response of TMDs, under the novel context of valley degree of freedom. Here, we provide a brief review of experimental advances in using helicity-resolved ultrafast spectroscopy, especially ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy, to study the dynamical evolution of valley-related many-particle electronic states in semiconducting monolayer transitional metal dichalcogenides.  相似文献

介绍了一种利用光电摄谱法和条纹管相结合测量ps级时间分辨超快高能脉冲激光光谱的方法。论述了条纹相机工作原理和平面衍射光栅的分光原理,分析指出利用介绍的装置,可以实现波长300 nm ~1 600 nm、脉宽>2 ps超快高能脉冲激光的光谱测量。采用1 054 nm超快高能脉冲激光器,实验得到了条纹像,对条纹像进行数据处理后得到测量光谱曲线,通过能量标定后,得到了超快高能脉冲激光器实际光谱曲线,验证了ps级时间分辨超快高能脉冲激光光谱方法。讨论了系统中耦合透镜组对光谱测量和光纤色散角对条纹图像的影响,论述了ps级时间分辨超快高能脉冲激光光谱的作用。随着条纹管制造技术的飞速发展,该方法可用于fs级激光光谱的测量。  相似文献

The transient dynamics of anisotropic properties of GaAs was systematically studied by polarization-dependent ultrafast time-resolved transient absorption. Our findings revealed that the anisotropy of reflectivity was enhanced in both pump-induced and probe-induced processes, suggesting an extraordinary resonance absorption of photon-phonon coupling (PPC) with intrinsic anisotropic characteristic in carrier relaxation, regardless of the concrete crystallinity and orientation of GaAs sample. The results, delivering in-depth cognition about the polarization-dependent ultrafast carrier dynamics, also proved the paramount importance of interaction between polarized laser and semiconductor.  相似文献

利用双波长飞秒激光抽运-探测实验方法测量了掺氮多晶ZnTe薄膜在飞秒激光加热情况下载能子超快动力学过程. 采用包含电子弛豫过程和晶格加热过程的理论模型拟合实验数据, 二者符合得很好. 拟合得到10 ps以内影响掺氮多晶ZnTe薄膜表面超快反射率变化的三个弛豫过程的时间常数均为亚皮秒量级. 其中, 正振幅电子弛豫过程是由电子-光子相互作用引起的载流子扩散和带间载流子冷却过程, 负振幅电子弛豫过程是由缺陷造成的光激载能子的俘获效应引起的, 晶格加热过程主要通过电子-声子耦合过程进行的.  相似文献

We present a comparative study of ultrafast photoexcited state relaxation in pentacene single crystals and in pure and C60-doped pentacene films using optical pump-probe spectroscopy. The photoinduced absorption spectra in pentacene crystals is consistent with a dominant singlet-triplet fission decay channel for above-gap excitation. This decay channel is suppressed in thin films and even further suppressed by electron trapping in C60-doped films. Thus we show that suppression of triplet state production, which is necessary for free carrier formation and thus photovoltaic and photodiode performance, is controllable via sample morphology.  相似文献

We have examined the recombination of excess quasiparticles in superconducting Pb by time-resolved far-infrared spectroscopy using a pulsed synchrotron source. The energy gap shift calculated by Owen and Scalapino [Phys. Rev. Lett. 28, 1559 (1972)] is directly observed, as is the associated reduction in the Cooper pair density. The relaxation process involves a two-component decay; the faster ( approximately 200 ps) is associated with the actual (effective) recombination process, while the slower ( approximately 10 to 100 ns) is due to heat transport across the film/substrate interface. The temperature dependence of the recombination process between 0. 5T(c) and 0.85T(c) is in good agreement with theory.  相似文献

Photocurrent experiments using two femtosecond laser pulses are performed on a photodiode using a ladder-type conjugated polymer as the active layer. With a photon energy of 3.1 eV the first pulse excites singlet excitons. A time-delayed second pulse with a photon energy of 2.49 eV leads to a decrease of the photocurrent by exciton depletion due to stimulated emission. S1 excitons being dissociated during their entire lifetime are identified as the only relevant channel for charge carrier generation. Intrachain polaron pairs are also formed on an ultrafast time scale with a yield of approximately 10%. They can be efficiently dissociated by reexcitation with photons of an energy of 1.9 eV.  相似文献

利用二能级体系速率方程,推导了半导体中探测光探测到的法拉第旋转光谱的理论模型,发现电子-空穴对的复合对法拉第旋转信号随时间的衰减有重要影响,并利用该模型对GaAs量子阱中实验测得的法拉第旋转光谱进行拟合,得到GaAs量子阱材料中的电子自旋弛豫时间为73.5 ps,而直接利用单指数进行拟合得到的电子自旋弛豫时间仅为51.3 ps. 因此,直接利用单指数对法拉第旋转光谱进行拟合得到电子自旋弛豫时间的传统做法是不准确的. 关键词: 自旋弛豫时间 时间分辨法拉第旋转光谱 GaAs量子阱  相似文献

We have studied the photoluminescence and time-resolved photoluminescence of a set of InGaN quantum wells with well thickness from 1 to 7.5 nm. An analysis of the phonon satellites at 5 K shows Huang–Rhys factors from 0.32 to 0.44. The increase of this factor is caused by the electron–hole separation induced by the piezoelectric field. The time-resolved photoluminescence at room temperature shows that the decay time of the 1 and 2 nm wells does not depend on the wavelength. The maximum decay time is around 600 ps for the 2, 3 and 4 nm wells. However, for the 3 and 4 nm wells a decrease of the photoluminescence decay time is observed at the highest wavelengths. This suggest the onset of a non-radiative process in these samples. The optimum well width for efficient emission for these single quantum wells was found to be 2 nm.  相似文献

使用飞秒时间分辨抽运-探测透射光谱技术,实验研究了GaAs体材料中光激发载流子的超快弛豫动力学的波长依赖.在相同的光激发载流子浓度和抽运/探测比时,发现760 nm和780 nm两中心波长处的瞬态透射变化延迟扫描信号出现负的和振荡的信号.与模拟计算结果对比,判定该实验瞬态信号是错误的.分析探测器输出波形,发现是由于反相波形导致的,而引起反相波形的原因在于样品中存在长寿命的吸收过程.指出通过提高探测器上的抽运/探测比能够矫正反相波形,从而获得正确的瞬态透射变化动力学.提高探测器上的抽运/探测比与目前的应尽量减小抽运光对探测器的散射贡献的观点是对立的.文章的研究结果对应用抽运-探测时间分辨光谱技术正确地测量超快瞬态动力学过程具有重要的参考价值. 关键词: 时间分辨抽运-探测透射光谱 饱和吸收 吸收增强 GaAs体材料  相似文献

Transmitted laser propulsion in confined geometry using liquid propellant is proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that the coupling coefficient obtained by using carbonic ink is much higher than that using pure water due to the low breakdown threshold and high absorption. The influences of the focal condition and the mass of the liquid jet on the coupling coefficient are studied. The maxima of the coupling coefficient and the specific impulse obtained in the experiment are 1785.8 dyne/W and 19.3 s, respectively. We present a single-molecule study unraveling the effect of static disorder on the vibrational-assisted ultrafast exciton dynamics in multichromophoric systems. For every single complex, we probe the initial exciton relaxation process by an ultrafast pump-probe approach and the coupling to vibrational modes by emission spectra, while fluorescence lifetime analysis measures the amount of static disorder. Exploiting the wide range of disorder found from complex to complex, we demonstrate that static disorder accelerates the dephasing and energy relaxation rate of the exciton.  相似文献
