A simple and sensitive flow injection fluorometric method for the determination of ascorbic acid is described. Perylenebisimide-linked nitroxide (PBILN) is used as a fluorescent reagent, which permits the selective determination of ascorbic acid. The fluorescence of the perylenebisimide moiety in PBILN is quenched by the nitroxide moiety, which is linked to the perylenebisimide. When a stream of a solution of ascorbic acid is merged with a stream of PBILN, the ascorbic acid reacts with the nitroxide moiety of PBILN to form hydroxylamine, and the fluorescence properties of the perylenebisimide moiety are recovered. As a result, a peak-shaped fluorescence signal is produced, which can be observed by a fluorescence detector located downstream. Under optimized conditions, a good linear relationship between the concentration of ascorbic acid and peak height in the concentration range from 0.5 to 10 μmol L−1 was found and the detection limit (S/N = 3) was 0.28 μmol L−1. The relative standard deviation for the determination of 4.0 μmol L−1 ascorbic acid samples was 1.0% (n = 5). The proposed method was applied to the determination of ascorbic acid in several soft drink beverages and the analytical results were in good agreement with those obtained using a conventional method.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode modified with poly(alizarin red)/electrodeposited graphene (PAR/EGR) composite film was prepared and applied to detect ciprofloxacin (CPFX) in the presence of ascorbic, uric acid and dopamine. The morphology and interface property of PAR/EGR films were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrocatalytic oxidation of CPFX on AR/EGR was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The linearity ranged from 4 × 10−8 to 1.2 × 10−4 M with a detection limit (S/N = 3) of 0.01 μM. The modified electrode could be applied to the individual determination of CPFX as well as the simultaneous determination of CPFX, ascorbic acid, uric acid and dopamine. This method proved to be a simple, selective and rapid way to determine CPFX in pharmaceutical preparation and biological media.  相似文献

A series of new isatin–mesalamine conjugates ( 9a – g ) were synthesized via conjugation of isatin ( 3a ) and its derivatives ( 3b – 3d , 4 , 5 , and 6 ) with mesalamine ( 7 ) by using chloroacetyl chloride as a bifunctional linker. Compounds 3a – 3d were prepared by employing Sandmeyer reaction. Compounds 4 , 5 , and 6 were obtained from isatin ( 3a ) via previously reported methods. The synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, mass, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectral techniques. Synthesized compounds ( 3a – d , 4 , 5 , 6 , and 9a – g ) were evaluated for in vitro antioxidant activity by DPPH assay method using ascorbic acid as standard. Hybrids 9b (IC50 = 368.6 ± 3.5 μM) and 9f (IC50 = 335.1 ± 2.9 μM) showed better antioxidant activity than its parent compounds such as 3a (IC50 = 556.8 ± 2.9 μM), 5 (IC50 = 511.9 ± 3.6 μM), and 7 (IC50 = 768.9 ± 2.7 μM). Acetic acid‐induced ulcerative colitis in rat model was chosen to examine the antioxidant potential of the synthesized hybrids ( 9b and 9f ) in the amelioration of ulcerative colitis. Colonic myeloperoxidase and malondialdehyde enzymes were used as biomarkers of anti‐ulcerative colitis activity. In the present study, hybrids 9b and 9f reduced the levels of colonic myeloperoxidase and malondialdehyde enzymes significantly (p < 0.05) when compared with control (colitic), at a dose (0.03 mM/12.5 mg/kg b.w. p.o.) (50%) less than that of its parent moieties mesalamine (0.16 mM/25 mg/kg) and isatin (0.16 mM/25 mg/kg). Thus, the molecular hybridization was proved to be significant in enhancing the activity of hybrids 9b and 9f by reducing the dose.  相似文献

The present study was aimed to use of N doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQDs) and N,K co-doped graphene quantum dots (N,K-GQDs) as a fluorescence quenching sensor to determine both mercury and copper in water sample, simultaneously using simple fluorescence protocol. Each of N-GQDs or N,K-GQDs was optimized separately with 1–5% (w/v) HNO3 or KNO3, respectively, and their quantum yields were determined and compared. It was found that N-GQDs, obtained from 3% (w/v) HNO3 doped resulted higher fluorescence intensity at the maximum excitation and emission wavelengths of 370 and 460 nm, respectively, with higher quantum yield (QY = 83.42%) compared with that of undoped GQDs (QY = 16.35%). While N,K-GQDs obtained from 5%(w/v) KNO3 gave somewhat different fluorescence spectrum, but still had the same maximum excitation and emission wavelengths with rather highest QY (94.07%). However, it is interesting that detection sensitivity expressed as slope of their calibration curve (y = 5.43x − 19.48; r2 = 0.9971) of the N-GQDs is rather higher than that (y = 1.29x + 17.66; r2 = 0.9977) of the N,K-GQDs for Hg2+ fluorescence quenching sensor, and the fluorescence intensity of N-GQDs had better selectively quenching effect only by both Hg2+ and Cu2+. Thus, their quenching effects were selected to develop the fluorescence turn-off sensor for trace level of both metal ions in real water samples. For method validation, the N-GQDs exhibited high sensitivity to detect both Hg2+ and Cu2+ with wide linear ranges of 20–100 μM and 100–500 μM, respectively. Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) were 0.42 μM & 1.41 μM for Hg2+ and 13.19 μM & 43.97 μM for Cu2+, respectively, with their precision expressed as an intra-day and an inter-day analysis of 6.98% & 11.35% for Hg2+ and 11.78% & 9.43% for Cu2+, respectively. Also the study of matrix analysis of the water samples (drinking water and tap water), was carried out using N-GQDs and N,K-GQDs resulted good percentage recoveries in comparison with those using undoped GQDs under the same optimum conditions.  相似文献

This study aims at developing a novel, sensitive, fast, simple and convenient method for separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of fluoxetine before its spectrophotometric determination. The method is based on combination of magnetic mixed hemimicelles solid phase extraction and dispersive micro solid phase extraction using 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide coated magnetic graphene as a sorbent. The magnetic graphene was synthesized by a simple coprecipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The retained analyte was eluted using a 100 μL mixture of methanol/acetic acid (9:1) and converted into fluoxetine-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex. The analyte was then quantified by fiber optic linear array spectrophotometry as well as mode-mismatched thermal lens spectroscopy (TLS). The factors affecting the separation, preconcentration and determination of fluoxetine were investigated and optimized. With a 50 mL sample and under optimized conditions using the spectrophotometry technique, the method exhibited a linear dynamic range of 0.4–60.0 μg L−1, a detection limit of 0.21 μg L−1, an enrichment factor of 167, and a relative standard deviation of 2.1% and 3.8% (n = 6) at 60 μg L−1 level of fluoxetine for intra- and inter-day analyses, respectively. However, with thermal lens spectrometry and a sample volume of 10 mL, the method exhibited a linear dynamic range of 0.05–300 μg L−1, a detection limit of 0.016 μg L−1 and a relative standard deviation of 3.8% and 5.6% (n = 6) at 60 μg L−1 level of fluoxetine for intra- and inter-day analyses, respectively. The method was successfully applied to determine fluoxetine in pharmaceutical formulation, human urine and environmental water samples.  相似文献

A new, simple and sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of salicylic acid (λex = 315 nm, λem = 408 nm) using As(III) as a sensitizing reagent has been investigated by measuring the increase of fluorescence intensity of salicylic acid due to the complexation of As(III)-salicylic acid in presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) 10−3 M. Under optimum conditions, a significant relationship was obtained between the fluorescence intensity and salicylic acid concentration. A linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 13.8-13812 μg l−1 with product-moment correlation coefficient (R) 0.99985 and detection limit 4.2 μg l−1. The R.S.D. is 2.35% (n = 5).The method was applied successfully to the determination of salicylic acid in human serum.  相似文献

Three-dimensional interconnected network graphene foam (GF) was synthesized by chemical vapor deposition. The GF was transferred onto indium tin oxide glass, acting as an electrode for the selective determination of L-dopa in the presence of ascorbic and uric acid. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) method, the oxidation peak current is well linear with L-dopa concentration in the range of 0.05–1 μM with a sensitivity of 2.64 μA μM?1 and in the range of 1–40 μM with a sensitivity of 1.82 μA μM?1. The detection limit of this electrode for L-dopa is about 20 nM. The proposed electrode can also effectively avoid the interference of ascorbic acid and uric acid, making the proposed sensor suitable for the accurate determination of L-dopa in human urine fluids. This electrode will have a wide range of potential application prospect in electrochemical detection.  相似文献

Graphite paste electrode modified with nitrogen doped porous carbon (NDPC) is used for the detections of paracetamol (PCM), ascorbic acid (AA) and p-aminophenol (PAP) at relatively low concentration. NDPC is synthesized by direct carbonization of Zn(OAc)2 incorporated melamine-formaldehyde resin microsphere. The NDPC shows small pore diameters centered at 3.14 nm and 8.12 nm and has a pseudo graphitic structure with reasonable porous matrix. The lower limit of detections (S/N = 3) for PCM, AA, and PAP are found to be 30 nM, 720 nM and 10 nM respectively. Under optimized experimental condition, the linear ranges of determination for PCM and AA are 1–400 μM, 10–2700 μM respectively in mixture. Similarly for PCM and PAP mixture, the linear ranges of determination are found to be 1–90 μM. It is also used for the analysis of urine and pharmaceutical products with better sensitivity.  相似文献

A novel carbon-nanofiber-modified carbon-paste electrode (CNF-CPE) was employed for the simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA), ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) with good selectivity and high sensitivity. The CNFs were prepared by combination of electrospinning technique with thermal treatment method and were used without any pretreatment. In application to determination of DA, AA and UA in the ternary mixture, the pristine CNF-CPE exhibited well-separated differential pulse voltammetric peaks with high catalytic current. Low detection limits of 0.04 μM, 2 μM and 0.2 μM for DA, AA and UA were obtained, with the linear calibration curves over the concentration range 0.04–5.6 μM, 2–64 μM and 0.8–16.8 μM, respectively.  相似文献

A new type of tryptophan-functionalized graphene nanocomposite (Trp-GR) was synthesized by utilizing a facile ultrasonic method via ππ conjugate action between graphene (GR) and tryptophan (Trp) molecule. The material as prepared had well dispersivity in water and better conductivity than pure GR. The surface morphology of Trp-GR was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Raman spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviors of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA), and uric acid (UA) were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) on the surface of Trp-GR. The separation of the oxidation peak potentials for AA–DA, DA–UA and UA–AA was about 182 mV, 125 mV and 307 mV, which allowed simultaneously determining AA, DA, and UA. Differential pulse voltammetery (DPV) was used for the determination of AA, DA, and UA in their mixture. Under optimum conditions, the linear response ranges for the determination of AA, DA, and UA were 0.2–12.9 mM, 0.5–110 μM, and 10–1000 μM, with the detection limits (S/N = 3) of 10.09 μM, 0.29 μM and 1.24 μM, respectively. Furthermore, the modified electrode was investigated for real sample analysis.  相似文献

The preparation of a persistently stable and sensitive biosensor is highly important for practical applications. To improve the stability and sensitivity of glutamate sensors, an electrode modified with glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH)/Ni–Pd/core–shell nanoparticles was developed using the thermal polymerization of acrylamide (AM) to immobilize the synthesized Ni–Pd/core–shell nanoparticles onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The modified electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Electrochemical data showed that the prepared biosensor had remarkably enhanced electrocatalytic activity toward glutamate. Moreover, superior reproducibility and excellent stability were observed (relative average deviation was 2.96% after continuous use of the same sensor for 60 times, and current responses remained at 94.85% of the initial value after 60 d). The sensor also demonstrated highly sensitive amperometric detection of glutamate with a low limit of detection (0.052 μM, S/N = 3), high sensitivity (4.768 μA μM−1 cm−2), and a wide, useful linear range (0.1–500 μM). No interference from potential interfering species such as l-cysteine, ascorbic acid, and l-aspartate were noted. The determination of glutamate levels in actual samples achieved good recovery percentages.  相似文献

The electrochemical detection of artemisinin generally requires high oxidation potential or the use of complex electrode modification. We find that artemisinin can react with p-aminophenylboronic acid to produce easily electrochemically detectable aminophenol for the first time. By making use of the new reaction, we report an alternative method to detect artemisinin through the determination of p-aminophenol. The calibration curve for the determination of artemisinin is linear in the range of 2 μmol L−1 to 200 μmol L−1 with the detection limit of 0.8 μmol L−1, which is more sensitive than other reported electrochemical methods. The relative standard deviation is 4.83% for the determination of 10 μM artemisinin. Because the oxidation potential of p-aminophenol is around 0 V, the present method is high selective. When 40 μM, 90 μM and 140 μM of artemisinin were spiked to compound naphthoquine phosphate tablet samples, the recoveries are 107.6%, 105.4% and 101.7%, respectively. This detection strategy is attractive for the detection of artemisinin and its derivatives. The finding that artemisinin can react with aromatic boronic acid has the potential to be exploited for the development of other sensors, such as fluorescence artemisinin sensors.  相似文献

A switchable polarity solvent was synthesized from triethylamine (TEA)/water/CO2 (Dry ice) via proton transfer reaction has been used for the microextraction of cadmium(II) as pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate (APDC) chelate. Cd(II)-APDC chelate was extracted into the switchable polarity solvent drops by adding 2 mL 10 M sodium hydroxide solution. Analytical parameters affecting the complex formation and microextraction efficiency such as pH, amount of ligand, volume of switchable polarity solvent and NaOH, sample volume were optimized. The effects of foreign ions were found tolerably. Under optimum conditions, the detection limit was 0.16 μg L−1 (3Sb/m, n = 7) and the relative standard deviation was 5.4% (n = 7). The method was validated by the analysis of certified reference materials (TMDA-51.3 fortified water, TMDA-53.3 fortified water and SPS-WW2 waste water, 1573a Tomato Leaves and Oriental Basma Tobacco Leaves (INCT-OBTL-5)) and addition/recovery tests. The method was successfully applied to determination of cadmium contents of water, vegetable, fruit and cigarette samples.  相似文献

Graphene was synthesized chemically by Hummers and Offeman method and the graphene-modified electrode was applied in selective determination of dopamine with a linear range from 5 μM to 200 μM in a large excess of ascorbic acid. Selective detection was realized in completely eliminating ascorbic acid, different from the methods based on the potential separations. π–π stacking interaction between dopamine and graphene surface may accelerate the electron transfer whereas weaken the ascorbic acid oxidation on this graphene-modified electrode. The resulted graphene-modified electrode also showed a better performance than multi-walled carbon nanotubes-modified electrode. The phenomena were considered from the elusive two-dimensional structure and unique electronic properties of graphene.  相似文献

In this report we reported a facile one-pot method for synthesis of water-soluble and stable fluorescent CuNCs at room temperature, in which branched polyethyleneimine (BPEI) served as capping scaffold and ascorbic acid as reducing agent. The prepared BPEI-CuNCs exhibited excellent properties such as good water-solubility, photostability and high stability toward high ionic strength. Based on the electron transfer induced fluorescence quenching mechanism, this fluorescence probe was used for the sensitive and selective determination of ferric ions (Fe3+) in aqueous solution. The limit of detection was 340 nM in the linear range of 0.5–1000 μM, which was lower than the maximum level of Fe3+ permitted in drinking water by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The method was successfully applied to the detection of Fe3+ in tap water, Yellow River water and human urine samples with the quantitative spike recoveries ranging from 95.3% to 112.0%.  相似文献

Water-soluble fluorescent carbon dots (CDs) were synthesized by a hydrothermal method using citric acid as the carbon source and ethylenediamine as the nitrogen source. The repeated and scale-up synthetic experiments were carried out to explore the feasibility of macroscopic preparation of CDs. The CDs/Fe3+ composite was prepared by the interaction of the CDs solution and Fe3+ solution. The optical properties, pH dependence and stability behavior of CDs or the CDs/Fe3+ composite were studied by ultraviolet spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. Following the principles of fluorescence quenching after the addition of Fe3+ and then the fluorescence recovery after the addition of asorbic acid, the fluorescence intensity of the carbon dots was measured at λex = 360 nm, λem = 460 nm. The content of ascorbic acid was calculated by quantitative analysis of the changing fluorescence intensity. The CDs/Fe3+ composite was applied to the determination of different active molecules, and it was found that the composite had specific recognition of ascorbic acid and showed an excellent linear relationship in 5.0–350.0 μmol·L−1. Moreover, the detection limit was 3.11 μmol·L−1. Satisfactory results were achieved when the method was applied to the ascorbic acid determination in jujube fruit. The fluorescent carbon dots composites prepared in this study may have broad application prospects in a rapid, sensitive and trace determination of ascorbic acid content during food processing.  相似文献

In this study, we have successfully prepared surface modified zinc oxide quantum dots (M-ZnO QDs) with ultra-stable fluorescence and excellent hydrophilicity through introducing (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). The as-prepared M-ZnO QDs under the optimum condition presented strong yellow fluorescence emission under 355 nm excitation and showed satisfied reproducibility. Physical and chemical properties of the synthesized ZnO QDs were further studied by various characterization techniques. Transmission electron microscopy showed homogeneous distribution of spherical M-ZnO QDs with the average particle size of 4.03 nm. According to the characteristic that metal ions can quench fluorescence, M-ZnO QDs-based fluorescence sensor for the detection of Cu2+ in aqueous solution is developed in this work, which has the advantages of excellent selectivity, good sensitivity and a wide linear range. The limit of detection was 0.51 μM and the linear detection range was 1–200 μM for Cu2+ determination. The practicability of the fluorescent probe is further validated in the lake water and the satisfactory spiked recoveries of Cu2+ ranges from 99.1 % to 108.8 %. Besides, M-ZnO QDs displayed concentration inhibition effect and strain effect on the growth of fungi. Thus, the as-prepared M-ZnO QDs are demonstrated to be promising for Cu2+ determination and anti-fungal applications.  相似文献

Fluorescence and terbium-sensitised luminescence properties of new quinolone garenoxacin have been studied. The fluorimetric method allows the determination of 0.060-0.600 μg ml−1 of garenoxacin in aqueous solution containing HCl/KCl buffer (pH 1.5) with λexc=282 nm and λem=421 nm. Micellar-enhanced fluorescence was also studied, leading to a higher than 400% increase in analytical signal in presence of 12 mM sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), allowing the determination of 0.020-0.750 μg ml−1 of garenoxacin. The terbium-sensitised luminescence method allows the determination of 0.100-1.500 μg ml−1 of garenoxacin in 12 mM SDS solution containing 0.08 M acetic acid/sodium acetate buffer (pH 4.1) and 7.5 mM Na2SO3 (chemical deoxygenation agent), with λexc=281 nm and λem=546 nm. Relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) values for the three methods were in the range 1.0-2.0%. The proposed procedures have been applied to the determination of garenoxacin in spiked human urine and serum.  相似文献

An ascorbic acid sensor was fabricated via the drop-casting of dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid (DBSA)-doped polyaniline nanoparticles onto a screen-printed carbon-paste electrode. The modified electrode was characterised with respect to the numbers of drop cast layers, optimum potential and operating pH. The sensor was found to be optimal at neutral pH and at 0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Under these conditions, the sensor showed good selectivity and sensitivity in that it did not respond to a range of common interferents such as dopamine, acetaminophen, uric acid and citric acid, but was capable of the detection of ascorbic acid at a sensitivity of 0.76 μA mM−1 or 10.75 μA mM−1 cm−2 across a range from 0.5 to 8 mM (r2 = 0.996, n = 6), and a limit of detection of 8.3 μM (S/N = 3). The sensor was compared to a range of other conducting polymer-based ascorbate sensors and found to be comparable or superior in terms of analytical performance.  相似文献

This paper reports a new method for determination of ascorbic acid based on a peroxidase-oxidase (PO) biochemical oscillator reaction. The oscillation period changes linearly with concentration of ascorbic acid in the range 0.175–17.5 μM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9982 (n=6) based on oxygen measurement with an oxygen electrode. The results compared well with those obtained by an AOAC procedure.  相似文献
