Three-dimensional supersonic ideal-gas flow past axisymmetric finned bodies rotating about the longitudinal axis is considered. A calculation method based on the numerical solution of the Euler equations by finite differences is described. The effect of the rotation of the body is taken into account within the framework of the curvature hypothesis [1], which provided that the dimensionless rate of rotation is small reduces the solution of the unsteady three-dimensional problem of supersonic flow past a rotating body to the solution of the steady-state problem of flow past a nonrotating body with specially curved fins. The problem of the rotation of a finned body in a free stream is solved.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 109–114, July–August, 1988.  相似文献

We investigate the flow past a sphere of a parallel supersonic stream which is nonuniform in magnitude; such a flow can be considered as two co-axial streams of an ideal gas. The problem is solved numerically by the method of establishment [1]. Supersonic flow of nonuniform magnitude and direction past blunt bodies and a plane wall was investigated in [2–5],Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 89–94, September–October, 1970.The author wishes to thank G. The problem of the flow of a radiating gas near the leading part of a body during intense vaporization of its surface is solved. Significant radiative heating occurs when a sufficiently dense gas flows past the body, thus a gasdynamic model of the flow is used according to which the flow takes place in a shock layer and a vapor layer separated by the contact surface. The radiant energy flux from the shock layer is partially absorbed by a vapor layer and falls on the surface of the body, causing intense vaporization.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 190–192, March–April, 1975.  相似文献

The problem is considered of constructing a semi-infinite axisymmetric body with minimum drag in subsonic flow of an ideal gas. This problem is formulated as the problem of finite-dimensional minimization by prescribing the shape of the body in parametric form and applying the projection method for solving a flow problem.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 108–113, March–April, 1985.  相似文献

Steady high-Reynolds-number flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past a slender axisymmetric body is considered. The structure of the near wake and the boundary layer in the vicinity of the rear end of the body is studied. The relationship between the maximum relative body thickness and the rearend shape giving a local boundary layer — potential flow interaction zone in a small neighborhood of the rear end is found. The boundary value problem for this region is solved numerically.Translated from Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 68–77, September–October, 1993.  相似文献

We introduce a simple method for the numerical simulation of bluff body flows where the solid object is represented by a distributed body force in the Navier–Stokes equations. The body force density is found at every time step to reduce the velocity within the computational cells occupied by the rigid body to a prescribed value. The method combines certain ideas from the immersed boundary method which was developed to treat biofluid mechanical flows and the volume-of-fluid method for simulating flows with fluid–fluid interfaces. The main advantage of this embedding method is that the computations can be effected on a regular Cartesian grid, without the need to fit the grid to the bluff body surfaces. Thus, flow past several complex bodies can be treated as easily as flow past a single body. The method is validated by reproducing well-established results for vortex shedding from a stationary cylinder. The flow past two side-by-side cylinders is then investigated. When the distance between the cylinders is small, they are seen to shed vortices in-phase, whereas for larger distances, the shedding occurs in anti-phase. For intermediate distances, various shedding patterns are observed, including quasi-periodic, asymmetric and chaotic regimes. Mean values and phase portraits associated with the cylinder lift and drag coefficients, as well as spectral analysis of the same data, are used to describe the flow. A transition diagram that can be compared with experiments or models outlines the various dynamical regimes as a function of the distance between the cylinders and the Reynolds number.  相似文献

At around the critical Reynolds number Re = (1.5–4.0)·105 there is an abrupt change in the pattern of transverse subsonic flow past a circular cylinder, and the drag coefficient Cx decreases sharply [1]. A large body of both experimental and computational investigations has now been made into subsonic flow past a cylinder [1–4]. A significant contribution to a deeper understanding of the phenomenon was made by [4], which gives a physical interpretation of a number of theoretical and experimental results obtained in a wide range of Re. Nevertheless, the complicated nonstationary nature of flow past a cylinder with separation and the occurrence of three-dimensional flows when two-dimensional flow is simulated in wind tunnels do not permit one to regard the problem as fully studied. The aim of the present work was to make additional experimental investigations into transverse subsonic flow past a cylinder and, in particular, to study the possible asymmetric stable flow regimes near the critical Reynolds number.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 154–157, March–April, 1980.  相似文献

A small-parameter method is widely used today for solving many problems of aerodynamics. It has made it possible to obtain results which are interesting from the practical point of view. In particular, it has helped to solve a problem dealing with a substantially three-dimensional field of flow around a wing with finite wingspread past which a gas is flowing at supersonic speed [1]. However, in the problem of flow past solids of revolution, certain difficulties have been encountered in the application of the method. In the present paper, within the framework of the theory of small perturbations, we consider a method for obtaining a solution in which these difficulties can be avoided. We obtain simple analytic expressions for the aerodynamic characteristics of solids of revolution in a supersonic stream of gas. We give a comparison of the results with experimental data and with calculations carried out by the method of characteristics.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 6, pp. 99–106, November–December, 1977.In conclusion, the authors wish to thank V. The hypersonic flow of a laminar stream of viscous compressible gas past blunt axisyrametric bodies rotating about the longitudinal axis is considered. It is assumed that gas blows from the surface of the body. The solution of the problem is obtained by a finite-difference method in a wide range of Reynolds numbers and blowing and rotation parameters. Some results of the calculations characterizing the effect of the rotation on the velocity and temperature profiles across the shock layer, on the friction and heat transfer coefficients, and the shock wave separation are given for the neighborhood of the stagnation point. For large Reynolds numbers and strong blowing an analytic solution of the problem is found in an approximation of two inviscid layers separated by a contact surface. The calculations are made for the flow past a sphere and a paraboloid and it is shown that in the presence of rotation the maximum of the heat flux is shifted from the stagnation point onto the side surface of the body. The dependence of the pressure distribution, the heat flux, and the friction coefficient is investigated for cases of constant and variable blowing over the contour of the body.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 106–114, January–February, 1986.  相似文献

Hypersonic gas flow past a small hump on the surface of a cold body has been investigated. The main parameters controlling the physical features of the flow in the near-wall viscous layer are determined. The solution of the boundary-value problem on a viscous sublayer along the symmetry line of flow past a wedge of finite span has been investigated numerically and the influence of the similarity parameters demonstrated.Translated from Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No.1, pp. 157–165, January–February, 1993.  相似文献

The steady nonlinear problem of subsonic compressible gas flow past a wing of arbitrary shape in plan is considered. A numerical method was devized for solving the problem; this is a further development of the method of discrete vortices. The surface of the body and the vortex wake behind it are simulated by systems of discrete vortex sections, but, in contrast to the case of an incompressible medium, it is necessary in this case for the sources to be distributed outside the wing. The circulations of the attached vortices, the strengths of the sources, and the shape of the wake are determined by iterations.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 140–147, July–August, 1984.  相似文献

In a number of cases of supersonic flow past bodies with recesses pulsations in the flow arise [1–3]. Experiments [4, 5] indicate that stabilization of the steady supersonic flow past the body with a recess on which a shock wave is incident takes place after a series of oscillations of the bow wave. Numerical calculation of the interaction of a supersonic jet with a cylindrical cavity [6] reveals that damped pressure pulsations arise inside the cavity if the jet is homogeneous, and undamped pulsations it is inhomogeneous. The authors explain the damping of the pulsations by the influence of artificial viscosity. This paper investigates experimentally and theoretically (by numerical methods) the oscillations of the bow shock wave and the parameters of the flow behind it in the case of unsteady reflection of a shock wave from a body with a cylindrical recess turned towards the flow. The problem is posed as follows. A plane shock wave with constant parameters impinges on a cylinder with a cavity. The unsteady flow originating from this interaction is investigated.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 199–202, September–October, 1984.  相似文献

It is shown that under conditions of local interaction of a flow with the surface of a body the position of the center of pressure does not depend on the angle of attack or the form of the model of the flow past the body for a large class of configurations including conical, cylindrical, spherical, and flat elements. The problem of finding the shape of conical bodies with unchanged position of the center of pressure in a supersonic flow without slip was formulated by Ostapenko [1], who also found the shape of some such bodies.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 129–133, September–October, 1982.  相似文献

In the framework of the linear theory of small perturbations the problem of unsteady subsonic flow past a two-dimensional cascade of plates has been considered in a number of papers. Thus, the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of a cascade of vibrating plates were calculated in [1] by the method of integral equations, while the same method was used in [2, 3] to calculate the sound fields that are excited when sound waves Coming from outside or vorticity inhomogeneities of the oncoming flow act on the cascade. The problem of a two-dimensional cascade of vibrating plates in a supersonic flow was solved in [4, 5]. In [4] the solution was constructed on the basis of the well-known solution of the problem of vibrations of a single plate, while in [5] a variant of the method of integral equations was used which differed slightly from the usual formulation of this method [1–3]. The approach proposed in [5] is used below to calculate the unsteady flow past a two-dimensional cascade of plates in the case when vorticity inhomogeneities of a supersonic oncoming flow act on it. Equations are obtained for the strength of the unsteady pressure jumps arising in such a flow and the vortex wakes shed from the trailing edges of the plates. Examples of the calculations illustrating the accuracy of the method and its possibilities are given.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp, 152–160, May–June, 1986.  相似文献

The problem of the separated axisymmetric subsonic flow of an inviscid perfect gas with the specific heat ratio 1.4 past a disk in accordance with the Riabouchinsky scheme is solved using the method developed in [1]. Formulas relating the main parameters with the base pressure coefficient and the Mach number at the free boundary are presented. Formulas which make it possible to determine the shape of the body of revolution giving the maximum critical Mach numbers are also derived.Kazan'. In the framework of the locally self-similar approximation of the Navier-Stokes equations an investigation is made of the flow of homogeneous gas in a hypersonic viscous shock layer, including the transition region through the shock wave, on wings of infinite span with rounded leading edge. The neighborhood of the stagnation line is considered. The boundary conditions, which take into account blowing or suction of gas, are specified on the surface of the body and in the undisturbed flow. A method of numerical solution of the problem proposed by Gershbein and Kolesnikov [1] and generalized to the case of flow past wings at different angles of slip is used. A solution to the problem is found in a wide range of variation of the Reynolds numbers, the blowing (suction) parameter, and the angle of slip. Flow past wings with rounded leading edge at different angles of slip has been investigated earlier only in the framework of the boundary layer equations (see, for example, [2], which gives a brief review of early studies) or a hypersonic viscous shock layer [3].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 150–154, May–June, 1984.  相似文献

The thin shock layer method [1–3] has been used to solve the problem of hypersonic flow past the windward surface of a delta wing at large angles of attack, when the shock wave is detached from the leading edge (but attached to the apex of the wing) and the velocity of the gas in the shock layer is of the same order as the speed of sound. A classification of the regimes of flow past a delta wing at large angles of attack has been made. A general solution has been obtained for the problem of three-dimensional hypersonic flow past the wing allowing for nonequilibrium physicochemical processes of thermal radiation of the gas at high temperatures.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 149–157, May–June, 1985.  相似文献

The problem of supersonic flow past an elongated axisymmetric body in the presence of an energy release zone between the surface of the body and the shock wave is considered. By means of such zones it is possible to modify the aerodynamic characteristics of the body and influence its flight by decreasing or increasing the drag coefficient (see, for example, [1, 2]) or by creating an additional lift force or aerodynamic moment [3]. A simple model of steady-state flow past a body with an energy source is used to determine what parameters the source should have to permit the maximization of the controlling force (in the present case the lift) for a given energy consumption per unit time.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 142–151, July–August, 1990.In conclusion, the author wishes to thank V. The problem of flow past a permeable cylinder at low Reynolds numbers is of interest for the solution of a number of problems in chemical technology in, for example, the design of porous electrodes and porous catalysts and in the calculation of nonstationary filtration of aerosols by fibrous filters. In the present paper, we solve the problem of transverse flow of a viscous fluid past a continuous cylinder in a porous shell and, in particular, in the case of a porous cylinder under conditions of constrained flow (system of cylinders) and an isolated cylinder at arbitrary permeability. The analogous problem of Stokes flow past permeable spheres has been solved in a number of papers [1–3].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 6, pp. 122–124, November–December, 1979.  相似文献
