The synthesis of new ligand systems based on the bipyridine unit for bi- and trimetallic complexes, including a rare example of a chiral bimetallic complex, is presented. Ligands BBPX (bis-bipyridine-xylene, 3) and TBPBX (tris-bipyridine-bis-xylene, 4) were prepared in one step by reacting alpha,alpha'-dibromo-o-xylene (2) with 2 equiv of the monolithiated derivative of 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine. Dilithium (S)-binaphtholate (5) reacted with 2 equiv of 4-bromomethyl-4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine (6), affording ligand (S)-BBPBINAP (bis-bipyridine-binaphtholate, 7). These ligands reacted cleanly with 1, 1.5, and 1 equiv of the rhodium dimer [Rh(2)Cl(2)(HD)(2)] (HD = 1,5-hexadiene), respectively. Chloride abstraction led to the isolation of the cationic complexes BBPX[Rh(HD)BF(4)](2) (8), TBPBX[Rh(HD)BF(4)](3) (10), and (S)-BBPBINAP[Rh(HD)BF(4)](2) (12). When BBPX (3), TBPBX (4), and (S)-BBPBINAP (7) were added to 2, 3, and 2 equiv of [Rh(NBD)(2)]BF(4) or [Rh(NBD)(CH(3)CN)(2)]BF(4) (NBD = norbornadiene), respectively, clean formation of BBPX[Rh(NBD)BF(4)](2) (9), TBPBX[Rh(NBD)BF(4)](3) (11), and (S)-BBPBINAP[Rh(NBD)BF(4)](2) (13) was observed. The neutral iridium complex (S)-BBPBINAP[IrCl(COD)](2) (14) was obtained by reaction of (S)-BBPBINAP (7) with 1 equiv of [Ir(2)Cl(2)(COD)(2)] (COD = cyclooctadiene). The complexes were fully characterized including X-ray structural studies of 8, 9, and 13, and preliminary studies on their catalytic activity were performed.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](n) with bipy at different molar ratios, solvents or crystallisation conditions affords a series of two- and three-dimensional luminescent complexes, [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)(0.5)](n), [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)](n), [[Tl(bipy)][Tl(bipy)(0.5)(THF)][Au(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](2)](n), [[Tl(bipy)][Tl(bipy)(0.5)(THF)][Au(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](2)xTHF](n) and [[AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)]x0.5toluene](n)(bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine; THF = tetrahydrofuran) all of them containing polymeric chains formed via unsupported Au...Tl interactions and bridging bipyridine ligands.  相似文献

Reaction of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in aqueous solution with 2 equiv of AgBF(4) or AgSbF(6) and then with 2 equiv of 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine (4,4'-dtbipy), or 4,4'-di-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine (4,4'-dmbipy) affords compounds of the general formula cis-[V(IV)O(OH)(L(NN))(2)]Y [where L(NN) = bipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (1), L(NN) = 4,4'-dtbipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (2.1.2H(2)O), L(NN) = 4,4'-dmbipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (3.2H(2)O), and L(NN) = 4,4'-dtbipy, Y = SbF(6)(-) (4)]. Sequential addition of 1 equiv of Ba(ClO(4))(2) and then of 2 equiv of bipy to an aqueous solution containing 1 equiv of V(IV)OSO(4).5H(2)O yields cis-[V(IV)O(OH)(bipy)(2)]ClO(4) (5). The monomeric compounds 1-5 contain the cis-[V(IV)O(OH)](+) structural unit. Reaction of 1 equiv of V(IV)OSO(4).5H(2)O in water and of 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in ethanol with 2 equiv of bipy gives the compounds cis-[V(IV)O(OSO(3))(bipy)(2)].CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O (6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O) and cis-[V(IV)OCl(bipy)(2)]Cl (7), respectively, while reaction of 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in CH(2)Cl(2) with 2 equiv of 4,4'-dtbipy gives the compound cis-[V(IV)OCl(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]Cl.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) (8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2)). Compounds cis-[V(IV)O(BF(4))(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]BF(4) (9), cis-[V(IV)O(BF(4))(4,4'-dmbipy)(2)]BF(4) (10), and cis-[V(IV)O(SbF(6))(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]SbF(6) (11) were synthesized by sequential addition of 2 equiv of 4,4'-dtbipy or 4,4'-dmbipy and 2 equiv of AgBF(4) or AgSbF(6) to a dichloromethane solution containing 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)]. The crystal structures of 2.1.2H(2)O, 6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O, and 8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) were demonstrated by X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data are as follows: Compound 2.1.2H(2)O crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with (at 298 K) a = 21.62(1) A, b = 13.33(1) A, c = 27.25(2) A, V = 7851(2) A(3), Z = 8. Compound 6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/a with (at 298 K) a = 12.581(4) A, b = 14.204(5) A, c = 14.613(6) A, beta = 114.88(1) degrees, V = 2369(1), Z = 4. Compound 8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pca2(1) with (at 298 K) a = 23.072(2) A, b = 24.176(2) A, c = 13.676(1) A, V = 7628(2) A(3), Z = 8 with two crystallographically independent molecules per asymmetric unit. In addition to the synthesis and crystallographic studies, we report the optical, infrared, magnetic, conductivity, and CW EPR properties of these oxovanadium(IV) compounds as well as theoretical studies on [V(IV)O(bipy)(2)](2+) and [V(IV)OX(bipy)(2)](+/0) species (X = OH(-), SO(4)(2)(-), Cl(-)).  相似文献

Deep-blue solutions of Y(2+) formed from Y(NR(2))(3) (R = SiMe(3)) and excess potassium in the presence of 18-crown-6 at -45 °C under vacuum in diethyl ether react with CO at -78 °C to form colorless crystals of the (CO)(1-) radical complex, {[(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO)(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 1. The polymeric structure contains trigonal bipyramidal [(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO)(2)](2-) units with axial (CO)(1-) ligands linked by [K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)](2+) dications. Byproducts such as the ynediolate, [(R(2)N)(3)Y](2)(μ-OC≡CO){[K(18-crown-6)](2)(18-crown-6)}, 2, in which two (CO)(1-) anions are coupled to form (OC≡CO)(2-), and the insertion/rearrangement product, {(R(2)N)(2)Y[OC(═CH(2))Si(Me(2))NSiMe(3)]}[K(18-crown-6)], 3, are common in these reactions that give variable results depending on the specific reaction conditions. The CO reduction in the presence of THF forms a solvated variant of 2, the ynediolate [(R(2)N)(3)Y](2)(μ-OC≡CO)[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)](2), 2a. CO(2) reacts analogously with Y(2+) to form the (CO(2))(1-) radical complex, {[(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO(2))(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 4, that has a structure similar to that of 1. Analogous (CO)(1-) and (OC≡CO)(2-) complexes of lutetium were isolated using Lu(NR(2))(3)/K/18-crown-6: {[(R(2)N)(3)Lu(μ-CO)(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 5, [(R(2)N)(3)Lu](2)(μ-OC≡CO){[K(18-crown-6)](2)(18-crown-6)}, 6, and [(R(2)N)(3)Lu](2)(μ-OC≡CO)[K(18-crown-6)(Et(2)O)(2)](2), 6a.  相似文献

This article describes a unique synthetic route that enables a neutral mono(dithiolene)metal unit, {Zn(dmit)}, to link with three different organic molecules, resulting in the isolation of a new class of neutral coordination polymers. The species {Zn(dmit)} coordinates with 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy), trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene (4,4'-bpe) and 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-ylmethyl)-benzene (bix) as linkers giving rise to the formation of coordination polymers [Zn(dmit)(4,4'-bpy)](n) (1), [Zn(dmit)(4,4'-bpe)](n) (2) and [Zn(dmit)(bix)](n) (3) respectively. Compounds 1-3 were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, diffuse reflectance and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Compounds 1 and 3 crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, whereby compound 2 crystallizes in triclinic space group P1[combining macron]. In the present study, we chose three linkers 4,4'-bpy, 4,4'-bpe and bix (see , respectively, for their structural drawings), that differ in terms of their molecular dimensions. The crystal structures of compounds 1-3 are described here in terms of their supramolecular diversities that include π-π interactions, not only among aromatic stacking (compounds 1 and 3), but also between an aromatic ring and an ethylenic double bond (compound 2). The electronic absorption spectroscopy of compounds 1-3 support these intermolecular π-π interactions.  相似文献

Reductions of CoBr(2) or cobaltocene by 3 equiv of potassium anthracene radical anion in tetrahydrofuran (THF) afford 60-80% yields of bis(anthracene)cobaltate(1-) (1), of interest as a readily accessible and quite labile source of spin-paired atomic Co(-). Although the unsolvated potassium salt of 1 is thermally unstable at 20 °C, the [K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)](+) salt of 1 functions as a useful storable crystalline reagent for Co(-) in several reactions. Previously known classic cobaltates, [CoL(4)](-), for L = 1/2 (1,3-butadiene) (2), PF(3) (3), and P(OiPr)(3) (5), were obtained directly from 1 and structurally characterized for the first time. Anion 3 is noteworthy because it appears to possess the shortest known Co-P distance, av = 2.012(4) ?. Although the naphthalene analogue of 1 is not yet available as a pure substance, low-temperature reductions of CoBr(2) or cobaltocene by naphthalene radical anion in the presence of 1,5-cyclooctadiene (COD) afford variable yields (80-90% from CoCp(2)) of (naphthalene)(COD)cobaltate(1-) (10). Ready displacement of naphthalene in 10 by L = 1,3-butadiene, 2,2'-bipyridine, and COD occurs to give good yields of the respective [Co(L)(COD)](-), all of which have been structurally characterized. Both ligands in 10 are displaced by tert-butylisocyanide to afford [Co(CNtBu)(4)](-) (16), the first isolable and structurally characterized homoleptic alkylisocyanometalate. The molecular structure of 16 shows unprecedented bending of the isocyanides, av C-N-C = 137(2)°, for homoleptic isocyanide complexes.  相似文献

New syntheses of complexes containing the recently discovered (N(2))(3-) radical trianion have been developed by examining variations on the LnA(3)/M reductive system that delivers "LnA(2)" reactivity when Ln = scandium, yttrium, or a lanthanide, M = an alkali metal, and A = N(SiMe(3))(2) and C(5)R(5). The first examples of LnA(3)/M reduction of dinitrogen with aryloxide ligands (A = OC(6)R(5)) are reported: the combination of Dy(OAr)(3) (OAr = OC(6)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-2,6) with KC(8) under dinitrogen was found to produce both (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(3-) products, [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)(2)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 1, and [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 2a, respectively. The range of metals that form (N(2))(3-) complexes with [N(SiMe(3))(2)](-) ancillary ligands has been expanded from Y to Lu, Er, and La. Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/M reactions with M = Na as well as KC(8) are reported. Reduction of the isolated (N(2))(2-) complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 3, with KC(8) forms the (N(2))(3-) complex, {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 4a, in high yield. The reverse transformation, the conversion of 4a to 3 can be accomplished cleanly with elemental Hg. The crown ether derivative {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)] was isolated from reduction of 3 with KC(8) in the presence of 18-crown-6 and found to be much less soluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF) than the [K(THF)(6)](+) salt, which facilitates its separation from 3. Evidence for ligand metalation in the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reaction was obtained through the crystal structure of the metallacyclic complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y[CH(2)Si(Me(2))NSiMe(3)]}[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(toluene)]. Density functional theory previously used only with reduced dinitrogen complexes of closed shell Sc(3+) and Y(3+) was extended to Lu(3+) as well as to open shell 4f(9) Dy(3+) complexes to allow the first comparison of bonding between these four metals.  相似文献

Excited-state properties of fac-[Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)]PF(6), [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2) (where dmb = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), and other tricarbonyl rhenium(I) complexes were investigated by transient FTIR and UV-vis spectroscopy in CH(3)CN or THF. The one-electron reduced monomer, Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S (S = CH(3)CN or THF), can be prepared either by reductive quenching of the excited states of fac-[Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)]PF(6) or by homolysis of [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2). In the reduced monomer's ground state, the odd electron resides on the dmb ligand rather than on the metal center. Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S dimerizes slowly in THF, k(d) = 40 +/- 5 M(-1) s(-1). This rate constant is much smaller than those of other organometallic radicals which are typically 10(9) M(-1) s(-1). The slower rate suggests that the equilibrium between the ligand-centered and metal-centered radicals is very unfavorable (K approximately 10(-4)). The reaction of Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S with CO(2) is slow and competes with the dimerization. Photolysis of [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2) in the presence of CO(2) produces CO with a 25-50% yield based on [Re]. A CO(2) bridged dimer, (CO)(3)(dmb)Re-CO(O)-Re(dmb)(CO)(3) is identified as an intermediate. Both [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2)(OCO(2)) and Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(OC(O)OH) are detected as oxidation products; however, the previously reported formato-rhenium species is not detected.  相似文献

A series of six Ag(I) and Zn(II) coordination polymers, namely, [Ag(2)(ndc)](∞) (1), {[Zn(ndc)(H(2)O)](H(2)O)}(∞) (2), {[Ag(2)(ndc)(4bpy)(2)][Ag(4bpy)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(H(2)O)(2)}(∞) (3), [Zn(5)(ndc)(4)(4bpy)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)](∞) (4), {[Ag(ndc)(abp)][Ag(abp)](H(2)O)(3)}(∞) (5), and {[Zn(2)(ndc)(2)(abp)(H(2)O)(2)](H(2)O)(2)}(∞) (6), have been prepared by using 2,3-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (H(2)ndc), an analogue of 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid (H(2)bdc), and different 4,4'-bipyridyl-like bridging co-ligands 4,4'-bipyridine (4bpy) and trans-4,4'-azobis(pyridine) (abp). The initial complexes 1 and 2 display the unusual two-dimensional (2-D) five-connected (4(8).6(2)) and the 2-D three-connected (4.8(2)) coordination networks, respectively. When two comparable rod-like linkers 4bpy and abp (with different N,N'-donor separations of the molecular backbones of ca. 7 and 9 ?) are further introduced, two one-dimensional (1-D) complexes 3 and 5, a three-dimensional (3-D) coordination framework 4 with (4(3))(4(3).6(3))(4(3).6(5).8(2))(4(4).6(4).8(2))(4(10).6(5)) topology and a 2-D 6(3) layered coordination polymer 6 are constructed. A structural comparison of these complexes with those based on the structurally related bdc ligand suggests that the extended π-conjugated system of ndc with different electronic nature and steric bulk play an important role in constructing the supramolecular architectures for 1-6, which are also regulated by different bridging N-donor co-ligands and metal ions. Moreover, complexes 1-6 show strong solid-state luminescence emissions at room temperature that mainly originate from the intraligand transitions of ndc.  相似文献

The reaction of a slurry of BaBr(2) in a minimal amount of tetrahydrofuran (THF) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in diethyl ether followed by crystallization from diethyl ether at -20 °C yields crystals of Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(2) (1). Drying 1 at room temperature under vacuum gives the partially desolvated analogue Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(x) (1') as a free-flowing white solid, where the value of x varies from <0.1 to about 0.4 depending on whether desolvation is carried out with or without heating. The reaction of 1 or 1' with Lewis bases that bind more strongly to barium than diethyl ether results in the formation of new complexes Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(L), where L = 1,2-dimethoxyethane (2), N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (3), 12-crown-4 (4), 18-crown-6 (5), N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylenediamine (6), and N,N,N',N",N"-pentamethylethylenetriamine (7). Recrystallization of 4 and 5 from THF affords the related compounds Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(12-crown-4)(THF)·THF (4') and Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(18-crown-6)·2THF (5'). In addition, the reaction of BaBr(2) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in the presence of diglyme yields Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(diglyme)(2) (8), and the reaction of 1 with 15-crown-5 affords the diadduct [Ba(15-crown-5)(2)][H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)](2) (9). Finally, the reaction of BaBr(2) with Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in THF, followed by the addition of 12-crown-4, affords the unusual salt [Na(12-crown-4)(2)][Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(3)(THF)(2)] (10). All of these complexes have been characterized by IR and (1)H and (11)B NMR spectroscopy, and the structures of compounds 1-3, 4', 5', and 6-10 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. As the steric demand of the Lewis bases increases, the structure changes from polymers to dimers to monomers and then to charge-separated species. Despite the fact that several of the barium complexes are monomeric in the solid state, none is appreciably volatile up to 200 °C at 10(-2) Torr.  相似文献

The reactions of phenylaminobis(phosphonite), PhN{P(OC6H4OMe-o)2}2 (1) (PNP), with [AuCl(SMe2)] in appropriate ratios, afford the bi- and mononuclear complexes, [(AuCl)2(micro-PNP)] (2) and [(AuCl)(PNP)]2 (3) in good yield. Treatment of 2 with 2 equiv of AgX (X = OTf or ClO4) followed by the addition of 1 or 2,2'-bipyridine affords [Au2(micro-PNP)2](OTf)2 (4) and [Au2(C10H8N2)2(micro-PNP)](ClO4)2 (5), respectively. Similarly, the macrocycles [Au4(C4H4N2)2(micro-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (6), [Au4(C10H8N2)2(micro-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (7), and [Au6(C3H3N3)2(micro-PNP)3](ClO4)6 (8) are obtained by treating 2 with pyrazine, 4,4'-bipyridine, or 1,3,5-triazine in the presence of AgClO 4. The reaction of 1 with AgOTf in a 1:2 molar ratio produces [Ag2(micro-OTf)2(micro-PNP)] (9). The displacement of triflate ions in 9 by 1 leads to a disubstituted derivative, [Ag2(micro-PNP)3](OTf)2 (10). The equimolar reaction of 1 with AgClO4 in THF affords [Ag2(C4H8O)2(micro-PNP)2](ClO4)2 (11). Treatment of 1 with AgClO4 followed by the addition of 2,2'-bipyridine affords a discrete binuclear complex, [Ag2(C10H8N2)2(micro-PNP)](ClO4)2 (12), whereas similar reactions with 4,4'-bipyridine or pyrazine produce one-dimensional zigzag Ag (I) coordination polymers, [Ag2(C10H8N2)(micro-ClO4)(ClO4)(micro-PNP)]n (13) and [Ag2(C4H4N2)(micro-ClO4)(ClO4)(micro-PNP)]n (14) in good yield. The nature of metal-metal interactions in compounds 2, 4, 5, and 12 was analyzed theoretically by performing HF and CC calculations. The structures of the complexes 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 14 are confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

A novel synthesis method is introduced for the preparation of [Os(NN)(CO)(2)X(2)] complexes (X = Cl, Br, I, and NN = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy)). In the first step of this two-step synthesis, OsCl(3) is reduced in the presence of a sacrificial metal surface in an alcohol solution. The reduction reaction produces a mixture of trinuclear mixed metal complexes, which after the addition of bpy or dmbpy produce a trans(Cl)-[Os(NN)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] complex with a good 60-70% yield. The halide exchange of [Os(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] has been performed in a concentrated halidic acid (HI or HBr) solution in an autoclave, producing 30-50% of the corresponding complex. All of the synthesized trans(X)-[Os(bpy)(CO)(2)X(2)] (X = Cl, Br, I) complexes displayed a similar basic electrochemical behavior to that found in the ruthenium analog trans(Cl)-[Ru(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] studied previously, including the formation of an electroactive polymer [Os(bpy)(CO)(2)](n) during the two-electron electrochemical reduction. The absorption and emission properties of the osmium complexes were also studied. Compared to the ruthenium analogues, these osmium complexes display pronounced photoluminescence properties. The DFT calculations were made in order to determine the HOMO-LUMO gaps and to analyze the contribution of the individual osmium d-orbitals and halogen p-orbitals to the frontier orbitals of the molecules. The electrochemical and photochemical induced substitution reactions of carbonyl with the solvent molecule are also discussed.  相似文献

The dimeric iron carbonyl [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) and the iodosilanes tBu(2)RSiI were obtained from the reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I with the silanides Na[SiRtBu(2)] (R = Me, tBu) in THF. By the reactions of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I and Na[SiRtBu(2)] (R = Me, tBu) the disilanes tBu(2)RSiSiRtBu(2) (R = Me, tBu) were additionally formed using more than one equivalent of the silanide. In this context it should be noted that reduction of [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) with Na[SitBu(3)] gives the disilanes tBu(3)SiSitBu(3) along with the sodium ferrate [(Na(18-crown-6))(2)Cp][CpFe(CO)(2)]. The potassium analogue [(K(18-crown-6))(2)Cp][CpFe(CO)(2)] (orthorhombic, space group Pmc2(1)), however, could be isolated as a minor product from the reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I with [K(18-crown-6)][PtBu(2)BH(3)]. The reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) with the potassium benzophenone ketyl radical and subsequent treatment with 18-crown-6 yielded the ferrate [K(18-crown-6)][CpFe(CO)(2)] in THF at room temperature. The crown ether complex [K(18-crown-6)][CpFe(CO)(2)] was analyzed using X-ray crystallography (orthorhombic, space group Pna2(1)) and its thermal behaviour was investigated.  相似文献

The mixed-ligand polypyridine ruthenium(II) complexes, [Ru(bpy)(2)(dmeb)](2+)(PF(6)(-))(2) (Ru(dmeb)(2+)) and [Ru(bpy)(2)(dbeb)](2+)(PF(6)(-))(2) (Ru(dbeb)(2+)), where bpy is bipyridine, dmeb is 4,4'-dimethyl ester-2,2'-bipyridine, and dbeb is 4,4'-dibutyl ester-2,2'-bipyridine, are synthesized and characterized, and their spectroscopic, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties are reported. Both Ru(II) complexes showed strong emission from the triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer excited state, red-shifted emission spectra (lambda(max) = 642 nm), and good solubility in organic solvents compared to the frequently used tris(bipyridine) Ru(II) complexes. The electrochemical measurements for these Ru complexes showed reversible and quasi-reversible redox processes, implying a potential improvement in the stability of the electroluminescent device. The electrophosphorescent devices were fabricated by doping them in a polymer host using a simple solution spin-coating technique. For a single-layer device with the 1.0 wt % Ru(dbeb)(2+)-doped polymer blends of poly(vinylcarbazole) (PVK) and 2-tert-butylphenyl-5-biphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol (PBD) as the emitting layer and with the metal Ba as the cathode, an external quantum efficiency of 3.0%, a luminous efficiency of 2.4 cd/A, and a maximum brightness of 935 cd/m(2) are reached with an electroluminescence (EL) spectral peak at 640 nm and Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage chromaticity coordinates of x = 0.64 and y = 0.33, which were comparable with standard red color.  相似文献

The conproportionation reaction between the dimeric diimidouranium(V) species [U(N(t)Bu)(2)(I)((t)Bu(2)bpy)](2) ((t)Bu(2)bpy = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridyl) and UI(3)(THF)(4) in the presence of additional (t)Bu(2)bpy yields U(N(t)Bu)(I)(2)((t)Bu(2)bpy)(THF)(2) (2), an unprecedented example of a monoimidouranium(IV) dihalide complex. The general synthesis of this family of uranium(IV) derivatives can be achieved more readily by adding 2 equiv of MN(H)R (M = Li, K; R = (t)Bu, 2,6-(i)PrC(6)H(3), 2-(t)BuC(6)H(4)) to UX(4) in the presence of coordinating Lewis bases to give complexes with the general formula U(NR)(X)(2)(L)(n) (X = Cl, I; L = (t)Bu(2)bpy, n = 1; L = THF, n = 2). The complexes were characterized by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of compounds 2 and {U[N(2,6-(i)PrC(6)H(3))](Cl)(2)(THF)(2)}(2) (4). (The X-ray structures of 5 and 6 are reported in the Supporting Information.)  相似文献

A new polydentate ligand 4,4'-bipyridazine (4,4'-bpdz) was prepared by employing inverse electron demand cycloaddition of 1,2,4,5-tetrazine. A unique combination of structural simplicity, ampolydentate character and efficient donor properties towards Cu(I), Cu(II) and Zn(II) provide wide new possibilities for the synthesis of coordination polymers incorporating the 4,4'-bpdz module either as a bi-, tri- or tetradentate connector between the metal ions. 1D coordination polymers Cu(2)(4,4'-bpdz)(CH(3)CO(2))(4) x 4H(2)O and Zn(4,4'-bpdz)(NO(3))(2), and interpenetrated (4,4)-nets in [Cu(4,4'-bpdz)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]S(2)O(6) were closely related to 4,4'-bipyridine compounds. 1D "ladder-like" polymer Cu(2)(4,4'-bpdz)(3)(CF(3)CO(2))(4) and the unprecedented 3D binodal net ({8(6)}{6(3);8(3)}) in [Cu(3)(4,4'-bpdz)(6)(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(6) x 6H(2)O were based upon a combination of linear and angular organic bridges. Complex [Cu(3)(OH)(2)(4,4'-bpdz)(3)(H(2)O)(2){CF(3)CO(2)}(2)](CF(3)CO(2))(2) x 2H(2)O has a "NbO-like" 3D topology incorporating discrete dihydroxotricopper(II) clusters linked by tri- and tetradentate ligands. The tetradentate function of the 4,4'-bpdz ligand was especially relevant for copper(I) complexes, which adopt layered Cu(2)X(2)(4,4'-bpdz) (X = Cl, Br) or 3D chiral framework (X = I) structures based upon infinite (CuX)(n) chains. The electron deficient character of the ligand was manifested by short anion-pi interactions (O-pi 3.02-3.20; Cl-pi 3.35 A), which may be involved as a factor for controlling the supramolecular structure.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of free 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene (tape). Tape was obtained from 1,1'-bis-2,7-naphthyridine by potassium promoted cyclization followed by oxidation with air. Mono- and dinuclear ruthenium(II) 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene complexes of the general formulas [Ru(L-L)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2), [1](PF(6))(2)-[5](PF(6))(2), and [{Ru(L-L)(2)}(2)(μ-tape)](PF(6))(4), [6](PF(6))(4)-[10](PF(6))(4), with{L-L = phen, bpy, dmbpy (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), dtbbpy (4,4'-ditertbutyl-2,2'-bipyridine) and tmbpy (4,4'5,5'-tetramethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)}, respectively, were synthesized. The X-ray structures of tape·2CHCl(3) and the mononuclear complexes [Ru(bpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·0.5CH(3)CN·0.5toluene, [Ru(dmbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·2toluene and [Ru(dtbbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·3acetone·0.5H(2)O were solved. The UV-vis absorption spectra and the electrochemical behavior of the ruthenium(ii) tape complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous dibenzoeilatin (dbneil), 2,2'-bipyrimidine (bpym) and tetrapyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c:3',2'-h:2',3'-j]phenazin (tpphz) species.  相似文献

From the reaction of Ni(COD)(2) (COD = cyclooctadiene) in dry diethylether with 2 equiv of 2-phenyl-1,4-bis(isopropyl)-1,4-diazabutadiene (L(Ox))(0) under an Ar atmosphere, dark red, diamagnetic microcrystals of [Ni(II)(L*)(2)] (1) were obtained where (L*)(1-) represents the pi radical anion of neutral (L(Ox))(0) and (L(Red))(2-) is the closed shell, doubly reduced form of (L(Ox))(0). Oxidation of 1 with 1 equiv of ferrocenium hexafluorophosphate in CH(2)Cl(2) yields a paramagnetic (S = 1/2), dark violet precipitate of [Ni(I)(L(Ox))(2)](PF(6)) (2) which represents an oxidatively induced reduction of the central nickel ion. From the same reaction but with 2 equiv of [Fc](PF(6)) in CH(2)Cl(2), light green crystals of [Ni(II)(L(Ox))(2)(FPF(5))](PF(6)) (3) (S = 1) were obtained. If the same reaction was carried out in tetrahydrofuran, crystals of [Ni(II)(L(Ox))(2)(THF)(FPF(5))](PF(6)) x THF (4) (S = 1) were obtained. Compounds 1, 2, 3, and 4 were structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography: 1 and 2 contain a tetrahedral neutral complex and a tetrahedral monocation, respectively, whereas 3 contains the five-coordinate cation [Ni(II)(L(Ox))(2)(FPF(5))](+) with a weakly coordinated PF(6)(-) anion and in 4 the six-coordinate monocation [Ni(II)(L(Ox))(2)(THF)(FPF(5))](+) is present. The electro- and magnetochemistry of 1-4 has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and SQUID measurements. UV-vis and EPR spectroscopic data for all compounds are reported. The experimental results have been confirmed by broken symmetry DFT calculations of [Ni(II)(L*)(2)](0), [Ni(I)(L(Ox))(2)](+), and [Ni(II)(L(Ox))(2)](2+) in comparison with calculations of the corresponding Zn complexes: [Zn(II)((t)L(Ox))(2)](2+), [Zn(II)((t)L(Ox))((t)L*)](+), [Zn(II)((t)L*)(2)](0), and [Zn(II)((t)L*)((t)L(Red))](-) where ((t)L(Ox))(0) represents the neutral ligand 1,4-di-tert-butyl-1,4-diaza-1,3-butadiene and ((t)L*)(1-) and ((t)L(Red))(2-) are the corresponding one- and two-electron reduced forms. It is clearly established that the electronic structures of both paramagnetic monocations [Ni(I)(L(Ox))(2)](+) (S = 1/2) and [Zn(II)((t)L(Ox))((t)(L*)](+) (S = 1/2) are different.  相似文献

Reaction of UCl4 with 3 or 4 mol equiv of Na2dddt (dddt = 5,6-dihydro-1,4-dithiine-2,3-dithiolate) in THF afforded the first example of a tetrakis(dithiolene) metal compound, [Na4(THF)8U(dddt)4](infinity) (1). The red crystals of 1 are composed of infinite zigzag chains in which Na2(micro-THF)3 fragments ensure the linking of Na2(THF)5U(dddt)4 moieties; the uranium atom is in a dodecahedral environment of eight sulfur atoms. Treatment of UCl4 with 3 mol equiv of Na2dddt in pyridine gave a mixture of tris- and tetrakis(dithiolene) compounds. After addition of 18c6 (18-crown-6), only the tris(dithiolene) complex was obtained and crystallized as orange crystals of [Na(18c6)(py)2]2[U(dddt)3].2py (2.2py) in which the isolated [U(dddt)3]2- anion adopts a slightly distorted trigonal prismatic configuration. A few red crystals of the unsolvated complex 2 and the trinuclear anionic compound [Na(18c6)(py)2]3[Na{U(dddt)3}2] (3) were also obtained along with orange crystals of 2.2py. All the tris(dithiolene) compounds exhibit large folding of the dddt ligand and significant interaction between the C=C double bond and the metal center.  相似文献

A novel 1,2-dithiolate ligand, that is, the 2-(trifluoromethyl)acrylonitrile-1,2-dithiolate, abbreviated here as tfadt, is prepared from the corresponding cyclic dithiocarbonate. This ligand, substituted with both a CN and a CF(3) group, is compared with the well-known maleonitrile- and bis(trifluoromethyl)ethane-1,2-dithiolates. The preparation, electrochemical properties, and X-ray crystal structures of the square-planar nickel complexes, in both their dianionic diamagnetic [Ni(tfadt)(2)](2)(-) and their monoanionic paramagnetic [Ni(tfadt)(2)](*)(-) forms, are reported, as n-Bu(4)N(+), PPh(4)(+), and (18-crown-6)Na(+) salts, respectively. In the [(18-crown-6)Na](2)[Ni(tfadt)(2)] salt, each CN moiety of the [Ni(tfadt)(2)](2)(-) dianion is coordinated to a (18-crown-6)Na(+) cation through a CN...Na interaction [N...Na = 2.481(3) A], affording an "axle with wheels" model where two MeOH molecules act as axle caps. On the other hand, in [(18-crown-6)Na][Ni(tfadt)(2)], each (18-crown-6)Na(+) cation is coordinated on both sides by the CN groups of two monoanionic [Ni(tfadt)(2)](*)(-) complexes with N...Na(+) distances at 2.434(5) and 2.485(4) A, giving rise to heterobimetallic chains with alternating (18-crown-6)Na(+) and [Ni(tfadt)(2)](*)(-) ions. These two examples demonstrate the attractive ability of the CN moieties in the [Ni(tfadt)(2)](2)(-)(,)(*)(-) complexes to coordinate metallic cationic centers. The paramagnetic salts of the anionic [Ni(tfadt)(2)](*)(-) complex follow Curie-type law in the 2-300 K temperature range, indicating the absence of intermolecular magnetic interactions in the solid state. The complexes are found in their trans form in all crystal structures, while density functional theory calculations establish that both forms have essentially the same energy. A cis-trans interconversion process is observed by variable-temperature NMR on the dianionic [Ni(tfadt)(2)](2)(-) complex with a coalescence temperature T(c) of 260 K and a free energy of activation of 51-53 kJ mol(-)(1).  相似文献
