Mononuclear Co(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes derived from bidentate or tridentate N,N′,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)amines (Ln = LA, LB), where LA is N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-3-methoxypropan-1-amine and LB is 3-methoxy-N,N-bis((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)propan-1-amine, have been synthesized and characterized. The geometry at Co(II) and Cd(II) for [LACoCl2], [LBCoCl2] and [LBCdBr2] with N,N′,N-tridentate ligands (Ln = LA, LB) can be described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid achieved by coordinative interaction of Npyrazole, two halides and the nitrogen of amine moiety. However, the molecular structure of four-coordinate [LAZnCl2] can be best described as tetrahedral, resulting in an eight-membered chelate ring. [LACoCl2] polymerized methyl methacrylate in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane at 60 °C and resulted in poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) with higher molecular weight and narrower polydispersity index compared to the other synthesized complexes. However, all the synthesized complexes yielded syndiospecific PMMA, characterized using 1H NMR spectroscopy, with ca. 0.70.  相似文献

A series of manganese-containing mononuclear and binuclear model compounds of superoxide dismutase (SOD) coordinated by a polydentate ligand N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis(2′-benzimidazolyl methyl)-1,2-ethanediamine (EDTB) have been synthesized and characterized. The SOD-like activities of these complexes have been measured by means of modified nitroblue tetrazolium (NBT) photoreduction, and the rate constants kQ of catalytic superoxide dismutation are in the range 6.96×106–2.32×107 l mol−1 s−1. In complex [Mn(EDTB)(Ac)](Ac)·C2H5OH the coordination environment around the manganese(II) ion can be described as a highly-distorted capped octahedron with an oxygen atom of the bidentate acetate ion at the capping site. This complex is the first example in which EDTB acts as a pentadentate ligand with one non-ligating benzimidazole group.  相似文献

Imidazole groups play an important role in the coordination chemistry of the metal ions in many biological systems1. Earlier work has established its suitability for formations of binuclear copper1, iron2 and manganese3 complexes. Thirteen novel bis-1,2,3-triazole derivatives were synthesized under copper (I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of N,N′-(hexane-1,6-diyl)bis(4-methyl-N-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)benzenesulfonamide) with different aryl azides and evaluated their biological activity. All the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, infrared, and elemental analysis and mass spectral studies. The synthesized bis-1,2,3-triazoles were evaluated for their antioxidant activity, and some of them were found to exhibit good to excellent antioxidant activity (IC50: 11.13 ± 1.5 to 98.98 ± 1.7 μM) in comparison with standard references, Trolox (11.73 ± 1.5 μM) and ascorbic acid (3.34 ± 1.8 μM). The bistriazoles also exhibited excellent-to-moderate anti-bacterial activity (MIC: 2.253 to 75 µg mL?1 against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa when compared with streptomycin. N,N′-(hexane-1,6-diyl)bis(N-((1-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl)-4-methyl benzenesulfonamide) has completely cleaved the DNA at a concentration of 100 mg mL?1, and the remaining compounds have partially cleaved the DNA.  相似文献

Summary CuII and NiII coordination compounds with N,N,N,N-tetrakis[(2-benzimidazolyl)methyl]-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (CDTB) have been prepared and characterized. The crystal structure of [Cu(CDTB)](ClO4)2 has been determined. The geometry around the Cu atom is highly irregular and can best be described as a cis-distorted octahedron, with four short CuN bond distances of 1.988(3) Å and 2.028(3) Å, and two very long CuN bond lengths of 2.543(4) A. The cis NCuN chelate angles in the complex range from 68.8(2) for N(1)CuN(1) to 141.03° for N(4)CuN(1). The cyclic voltammogram of the complex shows a fully reversible one-electron redox wave at E 1/2 = 0.162V versus standard calomel electrode, corresponding to the CuI/II redox couple. The structure of [Ni(CDTB)](NO3)2 ·EtOH has also been determined. The geometry around the Ni atom in this compound can be described as distorted octahedral, with N(4), N(4), N(1), N(1) as the ligating atoms in the basal plane, with cis chelate angles ranging from 79.37(10) to 120.9(2)° with the trans N(2)NiN(2) angle at 175.1(2)°. The structural differences in these two compounds are undoubtedly electronic rather than steric.  相似文献

Abstract

Two copper(II) coordination complexes, formulated as [Cu(tmen)(Clba)2] (1) and [Cu(tmen)(Hsal)2·H2O] (2) (where tmen?=?N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl ethylenediamine (C6H16N2), Clba1? = 2-chlorobenzoate (C7H4ClO21?), and Hsal1? (C7H5O31? = monoanion of o-hydroxybenzoic acid (salicylic acid)), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental combustion analysis, spectroscopic techniques, thermal studies, and single crystal X-ray analyses. Complex 1 consists of two distinct monomeric units in which the coordination environment around the central copper(II) ion is a distorted octahedron with a CuN2O4 chromophore, constituted by a chelating tmen molecule, and two 2-chlorobenzoate1? anions coordinated through their carboxylate-O atoms in an asymmetrical bidentate fashion. Complex 2 is also a monomer and consists of an CuN2O3 chromophore, in which tmen is coordinated to Cu(II) through its two N atoms in a chelating bidentate fashion, and an aqua-O and the two o-hydroxybenzoate1? (HSal1?) anions are coordinated through one of their carboxylate-O atoms in a monodentate mode, forming a square pyramidal structure. Hydrogen bonding interactions especially of O–H…O, N–H…O, and C–H…Cl types interweave monomeric units and stabilize the overall crystal structures in both complexes. Thermal analysis and antibacterial activities of 1 and 2 against various bacterial strains were also investigated.  相似文献

Summary A new Schiff base ligand, N,N-bis(l-ferrocenyl-1-oxo-3-methyl)propenylethylenediamine (H2L) and its copper(II), zinc(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), cadmium(II) and manganese(II) complexes have been prepared, and the structure of the copper complex has been determined by single crystal X-ray techniques and refined to R = 0.041 for 7403 independent reflections. The copper atom is situated in a distorted planar environment. The dihedral angle between planes of two chelating rings which do not contain the metal is 33.5°. Two substituted Cp rings are conjugated with two chelating acacim rings. The iron-centroid forms an angle of 179.4°. The Cp rings are twisted from the eclipsed conformation.  相似文献

Viscosities and densities of three binary liquid mixtures, benzene?+?methyl acetate, benzene?+?methyl propanoate and benzene?+?methyl butanoate, have been measured at 283.15, 298.15 and 313.15?K, and atmospheric pressure. From experimental data, viscosity deviation, excess energy of activation for viscous flow, and excess molar volume were calculated and satisfactorily correlated with Redlich and Kister equation. Empirical and semiempirical equations and the predicted group-contribution method, universal automatic computer, were applied.  相似文献

Two new zinc complexes, [Zn(Ppd)I]ClO4 (I) and [Zn(Ped)I]ClO4 (II), where Ppd and Ped are the Schiff bases N,N??-bis[(1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene)propane-1,3-diamine and N,N??-bis[(1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene)ethane-1,2-diamine, respectively, have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopic, molar conductivity, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of I is tri-clinic: space group $P\bar 1$ a = 8.421(2), b = 9.143(2), c = 13.166(3) ?, ?? = 92.521(5)°, ?? = 94.498(3)°, ?? = 94.232(4)°, V = 1006.6(4) ?3, Z = 2. The crystal of II is triclinic: space group $P\bar 1$ , a = 8.219(1), b = 8.483(1), c = 14.733(2) ?, ?? = 80.058(1)°, ?? = 81.960(1)°, ?? = 89.300(1)°, V = 1001.8(2) ?3, Z = 2. The zinc atom in the complexes assumes a distorted square pyramidal geometry through coordination by two pyridine N atoms and two imine N atoms of the Schiff base at the basal plane, and by a I atom at the apical position.  相似文献

β-Bromo-β-(methylsulfonyl)styrene reacted with dimethyl malonate and methyl cyanoacetate in the presence of sodium hydride to give sulfonyl-substituted cyclopropanes, and sulfonyl-substituted 2,3-dihydrofuran was also formed in the reaction with methyl acetoacetate. Reactions of α-bromo-β-(bromomethylsulfonyl) styrene with dimethyl malonate and methyl cyanoacetate led to the formation of 2,3-dihydro-λ6-thiophene S,S-dioxide derivatives. In the reaction of α-bromo-β-(bromomethylsulfonyl)styrene with methyl acetoacetate, 2,3-dihydro-λ6-thiophene S,S-dioxide and 2,5-dihydro-λ6-thiophene S,S-dioxide derivatives and methyl acetoacetate O-alkylation product, methyl 3-[(E)-2-(bromomethylsulfonyl)-1-phenylvinyloxy]but-2-enoate, were obtained at a ratio of 2.7: 1.2: 1. α-Bromo-β-(methylsulfonyl)styrene reacted with dimethyl malonate to produce dimethyl 2-[2-(methylsulfonyl)-1-phenylethylidene]malonate. The reaction of β-bromo-β-(bromomethylsulfonyl) styrene with dimethyl malonate and methyl cyanoacetate were strictly stereoselective, and they afforded tetrahydro-λ6-thiophene S,S-dioxide derivatives. The reaction of the same substituted styrene with methyl acetoacetate was not stereoselective, and the products were two diastereoisomeric tetrahydro-λ6-thiophene S,S-dioxides and sulfonyl-substituted 2,3-dihydrofuran at a ratio of 2.3: 2.7: 1.  相似文献

The title compound N,N,N′,N′-tetraethylpyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide (DEAP) forms a 1:1 complex with anhydrous CuCl2, [Cu(DEAP)Cl2], (1) which was crystallized from EtOH solution in the monoclinic space group P21/ n with cell constant, a = 10.024(1); b = 13.122(1); c = 14.404(1) Å β = 101.31(1)° V = 1857.8(3) Å3 and Z = 4. The chloro-perchlorato complex, [Cu(DEAP)Cl(ClO4)], (2) obtained in near quantitative yield by reacting (1) with an excess of NaClO4 in EtOH, crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/ n with cell constants, a = 7.965(1); b = 25.827(2); c = 10.046(1) Å β = 98.81(1)° V = 2042.2(4) Å3 and Z = 4. Both (1) and (2) contain 5-coordinated copper linked to DEAP through O~N~O donor set of atoms with covalently bonded chlorine atoms in (1) and chlorine and perchlorate groups in (2). The coordination geometry is intermediate between square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal, and is probably best described as a trigonally distorted rectangular pyramid.  相似文献

In this paper we present and discuss experimental results to evaluate performances and aging behaviour of two Hole Transporting Material (HTM), TPD and NPD, in Organic Light Emitting Device (OLED) with structure: ITO/HTM/Alq3/Al. For each of these HTMs, devices with several thicknesses have been built, to measure and emphasize behaviours of material-geometry combinations. The Rh(II)- and Cu(II)-catalyzed reactions of N-bis(trimethylsilyl)methyl, N-(2-indolyl)methyl α-diazoamides are investigated to delineate how conformational, steric and electronic factors influence the site- and chemoselectivity of the metallocarbenoid reaction. The N-bis(trimethylsilyl)methyl (N-BTMSM) group is found to be essential in promoting the metallocarbenoid reaction at the N-(2-indolyl)methyl moiety as well as providing subtle but effective conformational influence about the amide N-C(α) sigma bond in diazoamides carrying an N-C(α) alkoxymethyl side-chain, to afford excellent site- and chemoselectivity. In general, the metal-catalyzed reactions are found to favor metallocarbenoid addition to the indole C(2)-C(3) double bond over C-H insertion to give cyclopropanated products (tetracyclic γ-lactams); however, chemoselectivity is also affected by steric effects, as revealed in the N-[2-(3-methylindolyl)]methyl diazoamides, and to some extent by the nature of the catalyst employed, as seen in the N-C(α)-alkoxymethyl diazoamides. The tetracyclic γ-lactams are found to rearrange to give good to high yields of the tricyclic indole derivatives under the metallocarbenoid reaction conditions or under acidic conditions. The propensity of the tetracyclic γ-lactams to undergo rearrangement is found to be dependent on the nature of the α-substituent on the original diazo carbon and the indole N-substituent.  相似文献

Three new binuclear w -oxalato copper(II) complexes of composition [(Cu(N,N' -dieten) H2O)2ox](ClO4)2 ·H2O (1) (N,N'-dieten = N,N'-diethylethylenediamine, H2ox = oxalic acid), [(Cu(trimeen)H2O)2ox](ClO4)2·2H2O (2) (trimeen = N,N,N'-trimethylethylenediamine) and [(Cu(trimeen)H2O)2ox](NO3)2 ·2H2O (3) have been isolated from the reactions of Cu(ClO4)2 ·6H2O (or Cu(NO3)2 ·3H2O), the appropriate amine and Na2ox in water and have been characterized by IR and electronic spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure of [(Cu(N,N' -dieten)H2O)2 ox](ClO4)2.H2O (1) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The structure of ( 1 ) consists of binuclear cations [(N,N'-dieten)H2O)Cu(ox)Cu(N,N'-dieten)H2O)]2+, perchlorate anions and water molecules of crystallization. The copper atom is coordinated by two oxygen atoms of the oxalato ligand, two nitrogen atoms belonging to N,N'-dieten and one oxygen atom of water in a distorted square-pyramidal arrangement. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibilities (78-293 K) was measured for 1-3 . Magnetochemical measurements show that copper(II) ions in these compounds are antiferromagnetically coupled with J = -172 cm-1, -172 cm-1 and -168 cm-1 (H = -2JS 1 S 2, S 1= S 2 = 1/2) for 1, 2 and 3, respectively.  相似文献

Triaryl-substituted -aminoamidines were obtained by the reaction of ,-unsaturated N-arylimidoyl chlorides with arylamines. Acylation of the products gave the products from monosubstitution at the -amino group. Triaryl-substituted -aminoamidines react with phosgene and with oxalyl chloride to form 4-aryliminoperhydropyrimidin-2-ones and 5-aryliminoperhydro-1,4-diazepine-2,3-diones, respectively.For previous communication, see [1].A.
