Owing to the importance of differential equations in physics, the existence of solutions for differential equations has been paid much attention. In this paper, the existence of solution are obtained for the nonlinear second order two-point boundary value problem in the reproducing kernel space. Under certain assumptions on right-hand side, we propose constructive proof for the existence result, and a method is presented to obtain the exact solution expressed by the form of series. This paper is a extension of previous paper [Wei Jiang, Minggen Cui, The exact solution and stability analysis for integral equation of third or first kind with singular kernel, Appl. Math. Comput. 202 (2) (2008) 666-674], which extends a method of solving linear problems to present method for solving nonlinear problems.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel method is proposed for solving nonlinear two-point boundary value problems (BVPs). This method is based on a combination of the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and the reproducing kernel method (RKM). A major advantage of this method over standard ADM is that it can avoid unnecessary computation in determining the unknown parameters. The proposed method can be applied to singular and nonsingular BVPs. Numerical results obtained using the scheme presented here show that the numerical scheme is very effective and convenient for solving nonlinear two-point boundary value problems.  相似文献

In this letter, a new numerical method is proposed for solving second order linear singularly perturbed boundary value problems with left layers. Firstly a piecewise reproducing kernel method is proposed for second order linear singularly perturbed initial value problems. By combining the method and the shooting method, an effective numerical method is then proposed for solving second order linear singularly perturbed boundary value problems. Two numerical examples are used to show the effectiveness of the present method.  相似文献

In [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7] and [8], it is very difficult to get reproducing kernel space of problem (1). This paper is concerned with a new algorithm for giving the analytical and approximate solutions of a class of fourth-order in the new reproducing kernel space. The numerical results are compared with both the exact solution and its n-order derived functions in the example. It is demonstrated that the new method is quite accurate and efficient for fourth-order problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we apply the homotopy perturbation method for solving the fifth-order boundary value problems. The analytical results of the equations have been obtained in terms of convergent series with easily computable components. Several examples are given to illustrate the efficiency and implementation of the homotopy perturbation method. Comparisons are made to confirm the reliability of the method.  相似文献

In this paper we have presented a method based on cubic splines for solving a class of singular two-point boundary value problems. The original differential equation is modified at the singular point then the boundary value problem is treated by using cubic spline approximation. The tridiagonal system resulting from the spline approximation is efficiently solved by Thomas algorithm. Some model problems are solved, and the numerical results are compared with exact solution.  相似文献

An error bound for the collocation method by spline in tension is developed for a nonlinear boundary value problemay+by+cy=f(·,y),y(0)=y 0,y(1)=y 1. Sharp error bounds for the interpolating splines in tension are used in conjunction with recently obtained formulae for B-splines, to develop an error bound depending on the tension parameters and net spacing. For singularly perturbed boundary value problems (|a|=1), the representation of the error motivates a choice of tension parameters which makes the convergence of the collocation method problem at least linear. The B-representation of the spline in tension is also used in the actual computations. This paper investigates the numerical solutions of singular second order three-point boundary value problems using reproducing kernel Hilbert space method. It is a relatively new analytical technique. The solution obtained by using the method takes the form of a convergent series with easily computable components. However, the reproducing kernel Hilbert space method cannot be used directly to solve a singular second order three-point boundary value problem, so we convert it into an equivalent integro-differential equation, which can be solved using reproducing kernel Hilbert space method. Four numerical examples are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the present method. The numerical results demonstrate that the method is quite accurate and efficient for singular second order three-point boundary value problems.  相似文献

In this paper, a method is presented to obtain the analytical and approximate solutions of linear and nonlinear systems of second order boundary value problems. The analytical solution is represented in the form of series in the reproducing kernel space. In the mean time, the approximate solution un(x) is obtained by the n-term intercept of the analytical solution and is proved to converge to the analytical solution. Some numerical examples are studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the present method. Results obtained by the method indicate the method is simple and effective.  相似文献

However, the reproducing kernel method can not be used directly to solve third order three-point boundary value problems, since there is no method of obtaining reproducing kernel satisfying three-point boundary conditions. This paper presents a method for solving reproducing kernel satisfying three-point boundary conditions so that reproducing kernel method can be used to solve third order three-point boundary value problems. In this paper, a robust and accurate algorithm for solving both linear and nonlinear singular boundary value problems is proposed. We introduce the Chebyshev wavelets operational matrix of derivative and product operation matrix. Chebyshev wavelets expansions together with operational matrix of derivative are employed to solve ordinary differential equations in which, at least, one of the coefficient functions or solution function is not analytic. Several examples are included to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel method is presented for solving a class of singularly perturbed boundary value problems. Firstly the original problem is reformulated as a new boundary value problem whose solution does not change rapidly via a proper transformation; then the reproducing kernel method is employed to solve the boundary value new problem.
