An approach to solving optimization problems with fuzzy coefficients is described. It consists in formulating and analyzing one and the same problem within the framework of mutually related models by constructing equivalent analogs with fuzzy coefficients in objective functions alone. Since the approach is applied within the context of fuzzy discrete optimization problems, modified algorithms of discrete optimization are discussed. These algorithms are based on a combination of formal and heuristic procedures and allow one to obtain quasi-optimal solutions after a small number of steps, thus overcoming the computational complexity posed by the NP-completeness of discrete optimization problems. The subsequent contraction of the decision uncertainty regions is associated with reduction of the problem to multiobjective decision making in a fuzzy environment using techniques based on fuzzy preference relations. The results of the paper are of a universal character and are already being used to solve practical problems in several fields.  相似文献

This paper deals with nonlinear chance constrained programming as well as multiobjective case and goal programming with fuzzy coefficients occurring in not only constraints but also objectives. We also present a fuzzy simulation technique for handling fuzzy objective constraints and fuzzy goal constraints. Finally, a fuzzy simulation based genetic algorithm is employed to solve a numerical example.  相似文献

New models for shortest path problem with fuzzy arc lengths   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper considers the shortest path problem with fuzzy arc lengths. According to different decision criteria, the concepts of expected shortest path, α-shortest path and the most shortest path in fuzzy environment are originally proposed, and three types of models are formulated. In order to solve these models, a hybrid intelligent algorithm integrating simulation and genetic algorithm is provided and some numerous examples are given to illustrate its effectiveness.  相似文献

Location of fire stations is an important factor in its fire protection capability. This paper aims to determine the optimal location of fire station facilities. The proposed method is the combination of a fuzzy multi-objective programming and a genetic algorithm. The original fuzzy multiple objectives are appropriately converted to a single unified ‘min–max’ goal, which makes it easy to apply a genetic algorithm for the problem solving. Compared with the existing methods of fire station location our approach has three distinguish features: (1) considering fuzzy nature of a decision maker (DM) in the location optimization model; (2) fully considering the demands for the facilities from the areas with various fire risk categories; (3) being more understandable and practical to DM. The case study was based on the data collected from the Derbyshire fire and rescue service and used to illustrate the application of the method for the optimization of fire station locations.  相似文献

The design of product recovery network is one of the important and challenging problems in the field of reverse logistics. Some models have been formatted by researchers under deterministic environment. However, uncertainty is inherent during the process of the practical product recovery. In order to deal with uncertainty, this paper employs a fuzzy programming tool to design the product recovery network. Based on different criteria, three types of optimization models are proposed and some properties of them are investigated. To solve the proposed models, we design a hybrid intelligent algorithm which integrates fuzzy simulation and genetic algorithm. Finally, several numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed models and algorithm.  相似文献

The proportion exponent is introduced as a measure of the validity of the clustering obtained for a data set using a fuzzy clustering algorithm. It is assumed that the output of an algorithm includes a fuzzy nembership function for each data point. We show how to compute the proportion of possible memberships whose maximum entry exceeds the maximum entry of a given membership function, and use these proportions to define the proportion exponent. Its use as a validity functional is illustrated with four numerical examples and its effectiveness compared to other validity functionals, namely, classification entropy and partition coefficient.  相似文献

Multi-item inventory model with stock-dependent demand and two-storage facilities is developed in fuzzy environment (purchase cost, investment amount and storehouse capacity are imprecise) under inflation and time value of money. Joint replenishment and simultaneous transfer of items from one warehouse to another is proposed using basic period (BP) policy. As some parameters are fuzzy in nature, objective (average profit) function as well as some constraints are imprecise in nature. Model is formulated as to optimize the possibility/necessity measure of the fuzzy goal of the objective function and constraints are satisfied with some pre-defined necessity. A genetic algorithm (GA) is developed with roulette wheel selection, binary crossover and mutation and is used to solve the model when the equivalent crisp form of the model is available. In other cases fuzzy simulation process is proposed to measure possibility/necessity of the fuzzy goal as well as to check the constraints of the problem and finally the model is solved using fuzzy simulation based genetic algorithm (FSGA). The models are illustrated with some numerical examples and some sensitivity analyses have been done.  相似文献

A learning process for fuzzy control rules using genetic algorithms   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10
The purpose of this paper is to present a genetic learning process for learning fuzzy control rules from examples. It is developed in three stages: the first one is a fuzzy rule genetic generating process based on a rule learning iterative approach, the second one combines two kinds of rules, experts rules if there are and the previously generated fuzzy control rules, removing the redundant fuzzy rules, and the thrid one is a tuning process for adjusting the membership functions of the fuzzy rules. The three components of the learning process are developed formulating suitable genetic algorithms.  相似文献

Redundant fuzzy rules exclusion by genetic algorithms   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A genetic-algorithm-based method for exclusion of the potential redundant if-then fuzzy rules that have been extracted from numerical input-output data is proposed. The main idea is the input-space separation into activation rectangles, corresponding to certain output intervals. The generation of fuzzy rules and the membership functions are based on these activation rectangles and appropriate fuzzy rules inference mechanism is proposed. As the method usually produces too many rules, it is necessary to exclude the potential redundant if-then rules. The concept for varying the family of sensitivity parameters, defining the overlapping of the fuzzy regions is proposed. The genetic algorithms are used to resolve the following combinatorial optimization problem: the generation of families of sensitivity parameters. In this way the potential redundant if-then fuzzy rules are excluded.

The method formalizes the synthesis of the fuzzy system and could be used for function approximation, classification and control purposes. An illustrative example for implementation of the method for traffic fuzzy control is given.  相似文献

We consider a weighted version of the well-known Vertex Coloring Problem (VCP) in which each vertex i of a graph G has associated a positive weight w i . Like in VCP, one is required to assign a color to each vertex in such a way that colors on adjacent vertices are different, and the objective is to minimize the sum of the costs of the colors used. While in VCP the cost of each color is equal to one, in the Weighted Vertex Coloring Problem (WVCP) the cost of each color depends on the weights of the vertices assigned to that color, and it equals the maximum of these weights. WVCP is known to be NP-hard and arises in practical scheduling applications, where it is also known as Scheduling on a Batch Machine with Job Compatibilities. We propose three alternative Integer Linear Programming (ILP) formulations for WVCP: one is used to derive, dropping integrality requirement for the variables, a tight lower bound on the solution value, while a second one is used to derive a 2-phase heuristic algorithm, also embedding fast refinement procedures aimed at improving the quality of the solutions found. Computational results on a large set of instances from the literature are reported.  相似文献

In apparel industry, manufacturers developed standard allowed minutes (SAMs) databases on various manufacturing operations in order to facilitate better scheduling, while effective production schedules ensure smoothness of downstream operations. As apparel manufacturing environment is fuzzy and dynamic, rigid production schedules based on SAMs become futile in the presence of any uncertainty. In this paper, a fuzzification scheme is proposed to fuzzify the static standard time so as to incorporate some uncertainties, in terms of both job-specific and human related factors, into the fabric-cutting scheduling problem. A genetic optimisation procedure is also proposed to search for fault-tolerant schedules using genetic algorithms, such that makespan and scheduling uncertainties are minimised. Two sets of real production data were collected to validate the proposed method. Experimental results indicate that the genetically optimised fault-tolerant schedules not only improve the operation performance but also minimise the scheduling risks.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to deal with a multiobjective linear programming problem with fuzzy random coefficients. Some crisp equivalent models are presented and a traditional algorithm based on an interactive fuzzy satisfying method is proposed to obtain the decision maker’s satisfying solution. In addition, the technique of fuzzy random simulation is adopted to handle general fuzzy random objective functions and fuzzy random constraints which are usually hard to be converted into their crisp equivalents. Furthermore, combined with the techniques of fuzzy random simulation, a genetic algorithm using the compromise approach is designed for solving a fuzzy random multiobjective programming problem. Finally, illustrative examples are given in order to show the application of the proposed models and algorithms.  相似文献

This paper deals with the optimization of 2D finite element shapes using the very promising methods based on genetic algorithms. The codification of the design variables is carried out by generating series of strings in binary code. Classical genetic operators such as crossover, mutation and reproduction are used for the optimization process. A more refined operators needed to improve the performance of the process are used as well. Some illustrative examples are presented and discussed  相似文献

We define fuzzy symbols as particular fuzzy sets whose membership functions operate between two linearly ordered spaces, and study the operations of maximum and of minimum between two fuzzy symbols. We consider the membership functions of the fuzzy symbols as possibility distributions. We study those of the maximum and the minimum of two non-interactive and weakly non-interactive variables.  相似文献

In this paper, the Kapur cross-entropy minimization model for portfolio selection problem is discussed under fuzzy environment, which minimizes the divergence of the fuzzy investment return from a priori one. First, three mathematical models are proposed by defining divergence as cross-entropy, average return as expected value and risk as variance, semivariance and chance of bad outcome, respectively. In order to solve these models under fuzzy environment, a hybrid intelligent algorithm is designed by integrating numerical integration, fuzzy simulation and genetic algorithm. Finally, several numerical examples are given to illustrate the modeling idea and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

A method is proposed for estimating the parameters in a parametric statistical model when the observations are fuzzy and are assumed to be related to underlying crisp realizations of a random sample. This method is based on maximizing the observed-data likelihood defined as the probability of the fuzzy data. It is shown that the EM algorithm may be used for that purpose, which makes it possible to solve a wide range of statistical problems involving fuzzy data. This approach, called the fuzzy EM (FEM) method, is illustrated using three classical problems: normal mean and variance estimation from a fuzzy sample, multiple linear regression with crisp inputs and fuzzy outputs, and univariate finite normal mixture estimation from fuzzy data.  相似文献

Project scheduling problem is to determine the schedule of allocating resources so as to balance the total cost and the completion time. This paper considers a type of project scheduling problem with fuzzy activity duration times. According to some management goals, three types of fuzzy models are built to solve the project scheduling problem. Moreover, the technique of fuzzy simulation and genetic algorithm are integrated to design a hybrid intelligent algorithm to solve the fuzzy models. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.  相似文献

Our main concern is the maximum flow in a network in which an excess over the beforehand fixed quota of arc capacity is admissible. The problem is represented as a partially fuzzy linear programming task. A theorem equivalent to the Ford and Fulkerson one concerning the classic task of maximum flow is proved in the paper. An algorithm for searching maximum flow assuming integer values of flows on network arcs is presented.  相似文献

In this article, a capacitated location allocation problem is considered in which the demands and the locations of the customers are uncertain. The demands are assumed fuzzy, the locations follow a normal probability distribution, and the distances between the locations and the customers are taken Euclidean and squared Euclidean. The fuzzy expected cost programming, the fuzzy β-cost minimization model, and the credibility maximization model are three types of fuzzy programming that are developed to model the problem. Moreover, two closed-form Euclidean and squared Euclidean expressions are used to evaluate the expected distance between customers and facilities. In order to solve the problem at hand, a hybrid intelligent algorithm is applied in which the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulation, and a modified genetic algorithm are integrated. Finally, in order to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed hybrid algorithm, some numerical examples are presented.  相似文献

Facility location-allocation (FLA) problem has been widely studied by operational researchers due to its many practical applications. Many researchers have studied the FLA problem in a deterministic environment. However, the models they proposed cannot accommodate satisfactorily various customer demands in the real world. Thus, we consider the FLA problem with uncertainties. In this paper, a new model named α-cost model under the Hurwicz criterion is presented with fuzzy demands. In order to solve this model, the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulations and a genetic algorithm are integrated to produce a hybrid intelligent algorithm. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献
