A new ammine dual-cation borohydride, LiMg(BH(4))(3)(NH(3))(2), has been successfully synthesized simply by ball-milling of Mg(BH(4))(2) and LiBH(4)·NH(3). Structure analysis of the synthesized LiMg(BH(4))(3)(NH(3))(2) revealed that it crystallized in the space group P6(3) (no. 173) with lattice parameters of a=b=8.0002(1) ?, c=8.4276(1) ?, α=β=90°, and γ=120° at 50 °C. A three-dimensional architecture is built up through corner-connecting BH(4) units. Strong N-H···H-B dihydrogen bonds exist between the NH(3) and BH(4) units, enabling LiMg(BH(4))(3)(NH(3))(2) to undergo dehydrogenation at a much lower temperature. Dehydrogenation studies have revealed that the LiMg(BH(4))(3)(NH(3))(2)/LiBH(4) composite is able to release over 8 wt% hydrogen below 200 °C, which is comparable to that released by Mg(BH(4))(3)(NH(3))(2). More importantly, it was found that release of the byproduct NH(3) in this system can be completely suppressed by adjusting the ratio of Mg(BH(4))(2) and LiBH(4)·NH(3). This chemical control route highlights a potential method for modifying the dehydrogenation properties of other ammine borohydride systems.  相似文献

Single crystals of the meta- and para-phenylene-bridged ditopic trihydridoborates (Li(THF)(2))(2)[m-C(6)H(4)(BH(3))(2)] and (Li(THF)(2))(2)[p-C(6)H(4)(BH(3))(2)] have been prepared and investigated by X-ray crystallography. The compounds turned out to be coordination polymers in which each trihydridoborate substituent is connected with one trihydridoborate substituent of a neighbouring monomer via two bridging Li(THF)(2)(+) ions. (Li(THF)(2))(2)[m-C(6)H(4)(BH(3))(2)] and (Li(THF)(2))(2)[p-C(6)H(4)(BH(3))(2)] suffer from poor solubility in all common non-protic solvents. Thus, a more soluble derivative of (Li(THF)(2))(2)[p-C(6)H(4)(BH(3))(2)], equipped with n-hexyl groups at the positions 2 and 5 of the phenylene ring, has been used for all further investigations (i.e., compound Li(2)[6]). Treatment of Li(2)[6] with Me(3)SiCl in the presence of excess N(Me)(2)Et leads to the abstraction of one hydride ion per boron atom under formation of the ditopic amine-borane adduct p-C(6)H(2)(n-hexyl)(2)(BH(2)-N(Me)(2)Et)(2) (7). The compound turned out to be an efficient hydroboration reagent both for internal olefins (i.e., 1,5-cyclooctadiene) and terminal alkynes (i.e., tert-butyl acetylene) to give p-C(6)H(2)(n-hexyl)(2)(9-BBN)(2) (8; 9-BBN = 9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonyl) and p-C(6)H(2)(n-hexyl)(2)(B(C(H)=C(H)tBu)(2))(2) (9), respectively.  相似文献

We describe the successful synthesis of the first mixed-cation (pseudoternary) amidoborane, Na[Li(NH(2)BH(3))(2)], with theoretical hydrogen capacity of 11.1 wt%. Na[Li(NH(2)BH(3))(2)] crystallizes triclinic (P1) with a = 5.0197(4) ?, b = 7.1203(7) ?, c = 8.9198(9) ?, α = 103.003(6)°, β = 102.200(5)°, γ = 103.575(5)°, and V = 289.98(5) ?(3) (Z = 2), as additionally confirmed by Density Functional Theory calculations. Its crystal structure is topologically different from those of its orthorhombic LiNH(2)BH(3) and NaNH(2)BH(3) constituents, with distinctly different coordination spheres of Li (3 N atoms and 1 hydride anion) and Na (6 hydride anions). Na[Li(NH(2)BH(3))(2)], which may be viewed as a product of a Lewis acid (LiNH(2)BH(3))/Lewis base (NaNH(2)BH(3)) reaction, is an important candidate for a novel lightweight hydrogen storage material. The title material decomposes at low temperature (with onset at 75 °C, 6.0% mass loss up to 110 °C, and an additional 3.0% up to 200 °C) while evolving hydrogen contaminated with ammonia.  相似文献

NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)] 1 and NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] 2 were obtained by the metathesis reaction of NO[SbF(6)] and the corresponding Li[Al(OR)(4)] salts in liquid sulfur dioxide solution in ca 40% (1) and 85% (2) isolated yield. 1 and 2, as well as Li[NO(3)] and N(2)O, were also given by the reaction of an excess of mixture of (90 mol%) NO, (10 mol%) NO(2) with Li[Al(OR)(4)] followed by extraction with SO(2). The unfavourable disproportionation reaction of 2NO(2)(g) to [NO](+)(g) and [NO(3)](-)(g)[DeltaH degrees = +616.2 kJ mol(-1)] is more than compensated by the disproportionation energy of 3NO(g) to N(2)O(g) and NO(2)(g)[DeltaH degrees =-155.4 kJ mol(-1)] and the lattice energy of Li[NO(3)](s)[U(POT)= 862 kJ mol(-1)]. Evidence is presented that the reaction proceeds via a complex of [Li](+) with NO, NO(2)(or their dimers) and N(2)O. NO(2) and Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] gave [NO(3)(NO)(3)][Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](2), NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] and (NO(2))[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] products. The aluminium complex [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]](2) 3 was prepared by the thermal decomposition of Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)]. Compounds 1 and 3 were characterized by single crystal X-ray structural analyses, 1-3 by elemental analyses, NMR, IR, Raman and mass spectra. Solid 1 contains [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and [NO](+) weakly linked via donor acceptor interactions, while in the SO(2) solution there is an equilibrium between the associated [NO](+)[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and separated solvated ions. Solid 2 contains essentially ionic [NO](+) and [Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](-). Complex 3 consists of two [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]] units linked via fluorine lithium contacts. Compound 1 is unstable in the SO(2) solution and decomposes to yield [AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-), [(PhC(CF(3))(2)O)(3)Al(mu-F)Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-) anions as well as (NO)C(6)H(4)C(CF(3))(2)OH, while compound 2 is stable in liquid SO(2). The [small nu](NO(+)) in 1 and [NO](+)(toluene)[SbCl(6)] are similar, implying similar basicities of [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and toluene.  相似文献

Li-Na ternary amidoborane, Na[Li(NH(2)BH(3))(2)], was recently synthesized by reacting LiH and NaH with NH(3)BH(3). This mixed-cation amidoborane shows improved dehydrogenation performance compared to that of single-cation amidoboranes, i.e., LiNH(2)BH(3) and NaNH(2)BH(3). In this paper, we synthesized the Li-Na ternary amidoborane by blending and re-crystallizing equivalent LiNH(2)BH(3) and NaNH(2)BH(3) in tetrahydrofuran (THF), and employed first-principles calculations and the special quasirandom structure (SQS) method to theoretically explore the likelihood for the existence of Li(1-x)Na(x)(NH(2)BH(3)) for various Li/Na ratios. The thermodynamic, electronic and phononic properties were investigated to understand the possible dehydrogenation mechanisms of Na[Li(NH(2)BH(3))(2)].  相似文献

Hydrocarbon-soluble model systems for the calcium-amidoborane-ammine complex Ca(NH(2)BH(3))(2)?(NH(3))(2) were prepared and structurally characterized. The following complexes were obtained by the reaction of RNH(2)BH(3) (R = H, Me, iPr, DIPP; DIPP = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl) with Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2))?(NH(3))(2) (DIPP-nacnac = DIPP-NC(Me)CHC(Me)N-DIPP): Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2)BH(3))?(NH(3))(2), Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2)BH(3))?(NH(3))(3), Ca(DIPP-nacnac)[NH(Me)BH(3)]?(NH(3))(2), Ca(DIPP-nacnac)[NH(iPr)BH(3)]?(NH(3))(2), and Ca(DIPP-nacnac)[NH(DIPP)BH(3)]?NH(3). The crystal structure of Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2)BH(3))?(NH(3)(3) showed a NH(2)BH(3)(-) unit that was fully embedded in a network of BH???HN interactions (range: 1.97(4)-2.39(4)??) that were mainly found between NH(3) ligands and BH(3) groups. In addition, there were N-H???C interactions between NH(3) ligands and the central carbon atom in the ligand. Solutions of these calcium-amidoborane-ammine complexes in benzene were heated stepwise to 60?°C and thermally decomposed. The following main conclusions can be drawn: 1)?Competing protonation of the DIPP-nacnac anion by NH(3) was observed; 2)?The NH(3) ligands were bound loosely to the Ca(2+) ions and were partially eliminated upon heating. Crystal structures of [Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2)BH(3))?(NH(3))](∞), Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2)BH(3))?(NH(3))?(THF), and [Ca(DIPP-nacnac){NH(iPr)BH(3)}](2) were obtained. 3)?Independent of the nature of the substituent R in NH(R)BH(3), the formation of H(2) was observed at around 50?°C. 4)?In all cases, the complex [Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2))](2) was formed as a major product of thermal decomposition, and its dimeric nature was confirmed by single-crystal analysis. We proposed that thermal decomposition of calcium-amidoborane-ammine complexes goes through an intermediate calcium-hydride-ammine complex which eliminates hydrogen and [Ca(DIPP-nacnac)(NH(2))](2). It is likely that the formation of metal amides is also an important reaction pathway for the decomposition of metal-amidoborane-ammine complexes in the solid state.  相似文献

The first structural characterization of the text-book tetraammineberyllium(II) cation [Be(NH(3))(4)](2+), obtained in the compounds [Be(NH(3))(4)](2)Cl(4)?17NH(3) and [Be(NH(3))(4)]Cl(2), is reported. Through NMR spectroscopic and quantum chemical studies, its hydrolysis products in liquid ammonia were identified. These are the dinuclear [Be(2)(μ-OH)(NH(3))(6)](3+) and the cyclic [Be(2)(μ-OH)(2)(NH(3))(4)](2+) and [Be(3)(μ-OH)(3)(NH(3))(6)](3+) cations. The latter species was isolated as the compound [Be(3)(μ-OH)(3)(NH(3))(6)]Cl(3)?7NH(3). NMR analysis of solutions of BeF(2) in liquid ammonia showed that the [BeF(2)(NH(3))(2)] molecule was the only dissolved species. It acts as a strong fluoride-ion acceptor and forms the [BeF(3)(NH(3))](-) anion in the compound [N(2)H(7)][BeF(3)(NH(3))]. The compounds presented herein were characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis, (9)Be, (17)O, and (19)F?NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy, deuteration studies, and quantum chemical calculations. The extension of beryllium chemistry to the ammine system shows similarities but also decisive differences to the aquo system.  相似文献

A new borohydride, [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-), has been synthesized through the metathesis of CH(3)NH(3)F and NaBH(4) in methylamine. Room-temperature X-ray diffraction studies have shown that [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-) adopts a tetragonal unit cell with considerable hydrogen mobility similar to that observed in NH(3)BH(3). The kinetics and thermodynamics of hydrogen release have been investigated and were found to follow a similar pathway to that of [NH(4)](+)[BH(4)](-). Decomposition of [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-) occurred slowly at room temperature and rapidly at ca. 40 °C to form [BH(2)(CH(3)NH(2))(2)](+)[BH(4)](-), the methylated analogue of the diammoniate of diborane. The decomposition has been investigated by means of in situ X-ray diffraction and solid state (11)B NMR spectroscopy and occurred in the absence of any detectable intermediates to form crystalline [BH(2)(CH(3)NH(2))(2)](+)[BH(4)](-). [(CH(3))(2)NH(2)](+)[BH(4)](-) and [BH(2){(CH(3))(2)NH}(2)](+)[BH(4)](-) have also been synthesized through analogous routes, indicating a more general applicability of the synthetic method.  相似文献

[(NH(3))(2)BH(2)](+)[BH(4)](-) is formed from the room temperature decomposition of NH(4)(+)BH(4)(-), via a NH(3)BH(3) intermediate. Its crystal structure has been determined and contains disordered BH(4)(-) ions in 2 distinct sites. Hydrogen release is similar to that from NH(3)BH(3) but with faster kinetics.  相似文献

X-ray crystal structures are reported for the following complexes: [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O (tacn = 1,4,7-triazacyclononane), monoclinic P2(1)/n, Z = 4, a = 14.418(8) ?, b = 11.577(3) ?, c = 18.471(1) ?, beta = 91.08(5) degrees, V = 3082 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.039 (0.043) using 4067 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, monoclinic P2(1)/a, Z = 4, a = 13.638(4) ?, b = 12.283(4) ?, c = 18.679(6) ?, beta = 109.19(2) degrees, V = 3069.5 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.052 (0.054) using 3668 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2), cubic P2(1)/3, Z = 3, a = 14.03(4) ?, beta = 90.0 degrees, V = 2763.1(1) ?(3), R (R(w)) = 0.022 (0.025) using 896 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K. All of the cations have cofacial bioctahedral geometries, although [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O, [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, and [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2) are not isomorphous. Average bond lengths and angles for the cofacial bioctahedral cores, [N(3)Ru(&mgr;-X)(3)RuN(3)](2+), are compared to those for the analogous ammine complexes [Ru(2)Cl(3)(NH(3))(6)](BPh(4))(2) and [Ru(2)Br(3)(NH(3))(6)](ZnBr(4)). The Ru-Ru distances in the tacn complexes are longer than those in the equivalent ammine complexes, probably as a result of steric interactions.  相似文献

Treatment of the secondary phosphine {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}PH(C(6)H(4)-2-SMe) with BH(3)·SMe(2) gives the corresponding phosphine-borane {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}PH(BH(3))(C(6)H(4)-2-SMe) (9) as a colourless solid. Deprotonation of 9 with n-BuLi, PhCH(2)Na or PhCH(2)K proceeds cleanly to give the corresponding alkali metal complexes [[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}P(BH(3))(C(6)H(4)-2-SMe)]ML](n) [ML = Li(THF), n = 2 (10); ML = Na(tmeda), n = ∞ (11); ML = K(pmdeta), n = 2 (12)] as yellow/orange crystalline solids. X-ray crystallography reveals that the phosphido-borane ligands bind the metal centres through their sulfur and phosphorus atoms and through the hydrogen atoms of the BH(3) group in each case, leading to dimeric or polymeric structures. Compounds 10-12 are stable towards both heat and ambient light; however, on heating in toluene solution in the presence of 10, traces of free phosphine-borane 9 are slowly converted to the free phosphine {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}PH(C(6)H(4)-2-SMe) (5) with concomitant formation of the corresponding phosphido-bis(borane) complex [{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}P(BH(3))(2)(C(6)H(4)-2-SMe)]Li (14).  相似文献

The title compound [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)Ga(+)Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-), 1, containing a linear two-coordinate gallium cation, has been obtained by metathesis reaction of [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)GaCl with 2 equiv of Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)] in C(6)H(5)Cl solution at room temperature. Compound 1 has been characterized by (1)H, (13)C((1)H), (19)F, and (27)Al NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 consists of isolated [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)](2)Ga(+) cations and Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-) anions. The C-Ga-C angle is 175.69(7) degrees, and the Ga-C distances are 1.9130(14) and 1.9145(16) A. The title compound is remarkably stable, is only a weak Lewis acid, and polymerizes cyclohexene oxide.  相似文献

Reactions of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with tert-butylamine (>/=6 equiv) in benzene afford the dimeric imido complexes [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (90%) and [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (79%). The niobium complex exists as two isomers in solution, while the tantalum complex is composed of three major isomers and at least two minor isomers. Analogous treatments with isopropylamine (>/=7 equiv) give the monomeric complexes NbCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%) and TaCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%). The monomeric complexes are unaffected by treatment with excess isopropylamine, while the dimeric complexes are cleaved to the monomers MCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)(2) upon addition of excess tert-butylamine in chloroform solution. Treatment of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with 2,6-diisopropylaniline affords insoluble precipitates of [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%) and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%), which react with 4-tert-butylpyridine to afford the soluble complexes [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (45%) and [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (44%). Sublimation of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), MCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2), and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[MCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] leads to decomposition to give [MCl(3)(NR)(NH(2)R)](2) as sublimates (32-49%), leaving complexes of the proposed formulation MCl(NR)(2) as nonvolatile residues. By contrast, [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) sublimes without chemical reaction. Analysis of the organic products obtained from thermal decomposition of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) showed isobutylene and tert-butylamine in a 2.2:1 ratio. Mass spectra of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), and [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) showed the presence of dimeric imido complexes, monomeric imido complexes, and nitrido complexes, implying that such species are important gas phase species in CVD processes utilizing these molecular precursors. The crystal structures of [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))], [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2), [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2), and [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) were determined. [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.448(3) ?, b = 10.363(3) ?, c = 28.228(3) ?, beta = 94.92(1) degrees, V = 3628(5) ?(3), and Z = 4. [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 9.586(4) ?, b = 12.385(4) ?, c = 11.695(4) ?, beta = 112.89(2) degrees, V = 1279.0(6) ?(3), and Z = 2. [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.285(3) ?, b = 11.208(3) ?, c = 23.867(6) ?, beta = 97.53 degrees, V = 2727(1) ?(3), and Z = 2. [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.273(1) ?, b = 11.241(2) ?, c = 23.929(7) ?, beta = 97.69(2) degrees, V = 2695(2) ?(3), and Z = 2. These findings are discussed in the context of niobium and tantalum nitride film depositions from molecular precursors.  相似文献

Nano-composites of LiNH(2)-LiH-xMg(BH(4))(2) (0 ≤ x ≤ 2) were prepared by plasma metal reaction followed by a nucleation growth method. Highly reactive LiNH(2)-LiH hollow nanoparticles offered a favorable nucleus during a precipitation process of liquid Mg(BH(4))(2)·OEt(2). The electron microscopy results suggested that more than 90% of the obtained nano-composites were in the range 200-400 nm. Because of the short diffusion distance and ternary mixture self-catalyzing effect, this material possesses enhanced hydrogen (de)sorption attributes, including facile low-temperature kinetics, impure gases attenuation and partial reversibility. The optimal hydrogen storage properties were found at the composition of LiNH(2)-LiH-0.5Mg(BH(4))(2), which was tentatively attributed to a Li(4)(NH(2))(2)(BH(4))(2) intermediate. 5.3 wt% hydrogen desorption could be recorded at 150 °C, with the first 2.2 wt% release being reversible. This work suggests that controlled in situ hybridization combined with formula optimization can improve hydrogen storage properties.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization of five novel Mo-containing polyoxometalate (POM) bisphosphonate complexes with nuclearities ranging from 4 to 12 and with fully reduced, fully oxidized, or mixed-valent (Mo(V), Mo(VI)) molybdenum, in which the bisphosphonates bind to the POM cluster through their two phosphonate groups and a deprotonated 1-OH group. The compounds were synthesized in water by treating [Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) or [Mo(VI)O(4)](2-) with H(2)O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(2))OPO(3)H(2) (alendronic acid) or its aminophenol derivative, and were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and (31)P NMR spectroscopy. (NH(4))(6)[(Mo(V)(2)O(4))(Mo(VI)(2)O(6))(2)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(2)]·12H(2)O (1) is an insoluble mixed-valent species. [(C(2)H(5))(2)NH(2)](4)[Mo(V)(4)O(8)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(2)]·6H(2)O (2) and [(C(2)H(5))(2)NH(2)](6)[Mo(V)(4)O(8)(O(3)PC(C(10)H(14)NO)OPO(3))(2)]·18H(2)O (4) contain similar tetranuclear reduced frameworks. Li(8)[(Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O))(4)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(4)]·45H(2)O (3) and Na(2)Rb(6)[(Mo(VI)(3)O(8))(4)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(4)]·26H(2)O (5) are alkali metal salts of fully reduced octanuclear and fully oxidized dodecanuclear POMs, respectively. The activities of 2-5 (which are water-soluble) against three human tumor cell lines were investigated in vitro. Although 2-4 have weak but measurable activity, 5 has IC(50) values of about 10 μM, which is about four times the activity of the parent alendronate molecule on a per-alendronate basis, which opens up the possibility of developing novel drug leads based on Mo bisphosphonate clusters.  相似文献

The reaction of a slurry of BaBr(2) in a minimal amount of tetrahydrofuran (THF) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in diethyl ether followed by crystallization from diethyl ether at -20 °C yields crystals of Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(2) (1). Drying 1 at room temperature under vacuum gives the partially desolvated analogue Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(x) (1') as a free-flowing white solid, where the value of x varies from <0.1 to about 0.4 depending on whether desolvation is carried out with or without heating. The reaction of 1 or 1' with Lewis bases that bind more strongly to barium than diethyl ether results in the formation of new complexes Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(L), where L = 1,2-dimethoxyethane (2), N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (3), 12-crown-4 (4), 18-crown-6 (5), N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylenediamine (6), and N,N,N',N",N"-pentamethylethylenetriamine (7). Recrystallization of 4 and 5 from THF affords the related compounds Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(12-crown-4)(THF)·THF (4') and Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(18-crown-6)·2THF (5'). In addition, the reaction of BaBr(2) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in the presence of diglyme yields Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(diglyme)(2) (8), and the reaction of 1 with 15-crown-5 affords the diadduct [Ba(15-crown-5)(2)][H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)](2) (9). Finally, the reaction of BaBr(2) with Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in THF, followed by the addition of 12-crown-4, affords the unusual salt [Na(12-crown-4)(2)][Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(3)(THF)(2)] (10). All of these complexes have been characterized by IR and (1)H and (11)B NMR spectroscopy, and the structures of compounds 1-3, 4', 5', and 6-10 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. As the steric demand of the Lewis bases increases, the structure changes from polymers to dimers to monomers and then to charge-separated species. Despite the fact that several of the barium complexes are monomeric in the solid state, none is appreciably volatile up to 200 °C at 10(-2) Torr.  相似文献

Reactions of β-diketiminato group 2 silylamides, [HC{(Me)CN(2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))}(2)M(THF)(n){N(SiMe(3))(2)}] (M = Mg, n = 0; M = Ca, Sr, n = 1), and an equimolar quantity of pyrrolidine borane, (CH(2))(4)NH·BH(3), were found to produce amidoborane derivatives of the form [HC{(Me)CN(2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))}(2)MN(CH(2))(4)·BH(3)]. In reactivity reminiscent of analogous reactions performed with dimethylamine borane, addition of a second equivalent of (CH(2))(4)NH·BH(3) to the Mg derivative induced the formation of a species, [HC{(Me)CN(2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))}(2)Mg{N(CH(2))(4) BH(2)NMe(2)BH(3)}], containing an anion in which two molecules of the amine borane substrate have been coupled together through the elimination of one molecule of H(2). Both this species and a calcium amidoborane derivative have been characterised by X-ray diffraction techniques and the coupled species is proposed as a key intermediate in catalytic amine borane dehydrocoupling, in reactivity dictated by the charge density of the group 2 centre involved. On the basis of further stoichiometric reactions of the homoleptic group 2 silylamides, [M{N(SiMe(3))(2)}(2)] (M = Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba), with (CH(3))(2)NH·BH(3) and (i)Pr(2)NH·BH(3) reactivity consistent with successive amidoborane β-hydride elimination and [R(2)N[double bond, length as m-dash]BH(2)] insertion is described as a means to induce the B-N dehydrocoupling between amine borane substrates.  相似文献

New quaternary lithium - d(0) cation - lone-pair oxides, Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) (Pmn2(1)) and Li(2)(MO(3))(TeO(3)) (P2(1)/n) (M = Mo(6+) or W(6+)), have been synthesized and characterized. The former is noncentrosymmetric and polar, whereas the latter is centrosymmetric. Their crystal structures exhibit zigzag anionic layers composed of distorted MO(6) and asymmetric AO(3) (A = Se(4+) or Te(4+)) polyhedra. The anionic layers stack along a 2-fold screw axis and are separated by Li(+) cations. Powder SHG measurements on Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) using 1064 nm radiation reveal a SHG efficiency of approximately 170 × α-SiO(2). Particle size vs SHG efficiency measurements indicate Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) is type 1 nonphase-matchable. Converse piezoelectric measurements result in a d(33) value of ~28 pm/V and pyroelectric measurements reveal a pyroelectric coefficient of -0.43 μC/m(2)K at 50 °C for Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6). Frequency-dependent polarization measurements confirm that Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) is nonferroelectric, i.e., the macroscopic polarization is not reversible, or 'switchable'. Infrared, UV-vis, thermogravimetric, and differential thermal analysis measurements and electron localization function calculations were also done for all materials.  相似文献

The mediation of dipolar ruthenium(II) ammine complexes containing pyridinium ions [Ru(NH(3))(5)(L(+))](3+)(L(+): pyridinium ions) in glucose oxidation has been investigated by a voltammetric method. These ruthenium(II) complexes had appropriate redox potentials of 0.10-0.18 V vs. Ag/AgCl and high k(s) values of 5.7-17 x 10(6) M(-1) s(-1) which are the second-order rate constants for electron transfer from glucose oxidase in reduced form to [Ru(NH(3))(5)(L(+))](4+). In particular, the k(s) values for [Ru(NH(3))(5)(L(+))](3+) were greater than those of osmium(II)-polypyridine complexes possessing similar redox potentials which are most commonly used. All the dipolar ruthenium(II) complexes used in this study are therefore concluded to be useful for the electron transfer mediators of amperometric glucose sensors.  相似文献

We analyzed the molecular orbitals for a Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) compound, which is a model of the (AlBr x NEt(3))(4) crystal structure recently reported by Schn?ckel and co-workers. We found that even though Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) contains a planar square Al(4) cluster it is not an aromatic compound. However, the addition of two sodium atoms to Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) yields a new Na(2)Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) compound which is a pi-aromatic molecule. We hope that prediction of this new compound will facilitate a synthesis of aluminum aromatic solids.  相似文献
