This paper investigates theoretically the influence of magnetization
on fatigue life by using non-equilibrium statistical theory of
fatigue fracture for metals. The fatigue microcrack growth rate is
obtained from the dynamic equation of microcrack growth, where the
influence of magnetization is described by an additional term in the
potential energy of microcrack. The statistical value of fatigue
life of metal under magnetic field is derived, which is expressed in
terms of magnetic field and macrophysical as well as microphysical
quantities. The fatigue life of AISI 4140 steel in static magnetic
field from this theory is basically consistent with the experimental

Classical field theory simulations have been essential for our understanding of non-equilibrium phenomena in particle physics. In this talk we discuss the possible extension of the bosonic classical field theory simulations to include fermions. In principle we use the inhomogeneous mean field approximation as introduced by Aarts and Smit. But in practice we turn from their deterministic technique to a stochastic approach. We represent the fermion field as an ensemble of pairs of spinor fields, dubbed male and female. These c-number fields solve the classical Dirac equation. Our improved algorithm enables the extension of the originally 1+1 dimensional analyses and is suitable for large-scale inhomogeneous settings, like defect networks. 相似文献

The mode coupling contribution to the transverse transport coefficients of a three-dimensional one-component plasma in a strong external magnetic field is calculated. For very strong fields it is found that the tagged particle diffusion rate, the thermal diffusion rate, and the coefficient of viscosity in the plane orthogonal to the field have a Bohm-like B
–1 behavior. The mode coupling mechanism responsible for such an effect is always one that involves the finite-frequency upper hybrid modes. 相似文献

利用半经典开轨道理论, 研究了磁场和金属面附近氢负离子的剥离电子通量分布, 并揭示了电子通量分布中的振荡结构与经典轨道之间的关系.固定离子到金属面的距离, 研究了不同的磁场强度对电子通量分布的影响. 结果表明, 由于与电子通量分布相联系的剥离电子的经典轨迹增加, 随着磁场强度的增加, 通量分布变得复杂. 此外发现剥离电子的能量变化也会影响电子通量分布. 因此可以通过改变磁场强度大小和剥离电子的能量来调控剥离电子通量分布和干涉图样. 研究结果对于理解负离子在外场、表面附近的电子流通量和剥离电子干涉图样问题以及将来实验研究负离子的光剥离显微问题都可以提供一定的参考.

The formulation of perturbation expansions for a quantum field theory of strongly interacting systems in a general non-equilibrium state is discussed. Non-vanishing initial correlations are included in the formulation of the perturbation expansion in terms of cumulants. The cumulants are shown to be the suitable candidate for summing up the perturbation expansion. Also a linked-cluster theorem for the perturbation series with cumulants is presented. Finally, a generating functional of the perturbation series with initial correlations is studied. We apply the methods to a simple model of a fermion-boson system. 相似文献

The time-dependent correlations of a one-component plasma in a uniform magnetic field are studied with the help of kinetic theory. The time correlation functions of the particle density, the momentum density, and the kinetic energy density are evaluated for large time intervals. When the orbital motion and the spin motion of particles were considered simultaneously, the thermodynamic potential function
of a weakly interacting Fermi gas in a weak magnetic field was derived using the thermodynamics method. Based on the derived
expression, the analytical expressions of energy, heat capacity, chemical potential, susceptibility and stability conditions
of the system were given, and the effects of the interparticle interactions as well as the magnetic field on the properties
of the system were analyzed. It was shown that the magnetic field always causes energy and stability to decrease, while the
chemical potential of the system to increase. The repulsive (attractive) interactions always increase (decrease) energy and
stability, but decrease (increase) the chemical potential and paramagnetism. The repulsive (attractive) interactions decrease

Based on the closed-orbit theory, the magnetic field effect in the photodetachment of negative ion in the electric field near a metal surface is studied for the first time. The results show that the magnetic field can produce a significant effect on the photodetachment of negative ion near a metal surface. Besides the closed orbits previously found by Du et al. for the H in the electric field near a metal surface (J. Phys. B 43 035002 (2010)), some additional closed orbits are produced due to the effect of magnetic field. For a given ion-surface distance and an electric field strength, the cross section depends sensitively on the magnetic field strength. As the magnetic field strength is very small, its influence can be neglected. With the increase of the magnetic field strength, the number of the closed orbits increases greatly and the oscillation in the cross section becomes much more complex. Therefore we can control the photodetachment cross section of the negative ion by changing the magnetic field strength. We hope that our results may guide future experimental studies for the photodetachment process of negative ion in the presence of external fields and surfaces. 相似文献

The effect of a weak magnetic field on the diffusion of noninteracting electrons in a disordered system is studied in a nonlinear-model context. The effective Lagrangian describing the soft modes of the system in the weak field limit is derived. The result does not have the simple form that has been suggested by several authors. The effect of a zero-centered Gaussian random magnetic field distribution on the phase transition properties of the anisotropic quantum Heisenberg model has been investigated on a honeycomb lattice within the framework of effective field theory (EFT) for a two-spin cluster (which is abbreviated as EFT-2). Particular attention has been devoted to investigation of the effect of the anisotropy in the exchange interaction on a system with Gaussian random magnetic field distribution. The variation of the critical temperature with the randomness parameter (i.e., the width of the distribution) has been obtained for several anisotropy parameters. Critical Gaussian distribution width values, which make the critical temperature zero, have been obtained. Moreover, it has been concluded that all critical temperatures are of second order, and that reentrant behavior does not exist in the phase diagrams. 相似文献

The magnetic field along the central axis for an axially magnetized permanent magnetic ring was investigated by analytical and finite element methods. For open magnetic rings, both calculated and measured results show that the existence of the radial magnetic field creates a remarkable cosine distribution field along the central axis. A new structure of periodic permanent magnet focusing system with open magnetic rings is proposed. The structure provides a satisfactory magnetic field with a stable peak value of 120 mT for a traveling wave tube system. 相似文献

The effect of the random magnetic field distribution on the phase diagrams and ground state magnetizations of the Ising nanowire has been investigated with effective field theory with correlations. Gaussian distribution has been chosen as a random magnetic field distribution. The variation of the phase diagrams with that distribution parameters has been obtained and some interesting results have been found such as disappearance of the reentrant behavior and first order transitions which appear in the case of discrete distributions. Also for single and double Gaussian distributions, ground state magnetizations for different distribution parameters have been determined which can be regarded as separate partially ordered phases of the system. 相似文献
