We investigate the level of harvested power from aeroelastic vibrations for an elastically mounted wing supported by nonlinear springs. The energy is harvested by attaching a piezoelectric transducer to the plunge degree of freedom. The considered wing has a low-aspect ratio and hence three dimensional aerodynamic effects cannot be neglected. To this end, the three dimensional unsteady vortex lattice method for the prediction of the unsteady aerodynamic loads is developed. A strong coupling scheme that is based on Hamming's fourth-order predictor–corrector method and accounts for the interaction between the aerodynamic loads and the motion of the wing is employed. The effects of the electrical load resistance, nonlinear torsional spring and eccentricity between the elastic axis and the gravity axis on the level of the harvested power, pitch and plunge amplitudes are investigated for a range of operating wind speeds. The results show that there is a specific wind speed beyond which the pitch motion does not pick any further energy from the incident flow. As such, the displacement in the plunge direction grows significantly and causes enhanced energy harvesting. The results also show that the nonlinear torsional spring plays an important role in enhancing the level of the harvested power. Furthermore, the harvested power can be increased by an order of magnitude by properly choosing the eccentricity and the load resistance. This analysis is helpful in designing piezoaeroelastic energy harvesters that can operate optimally at specific wind speeds.  相似文献

An experimental study aimed at minimizing pumping power required to supply air through a finned tube bundle configuration is presented in this article. Results were obtained for the Reynolds number based on the smaller ellipse axis (RE2b) ranging from 2,650 to 10,600, i.e., in turbulent flow. In the turbulent regime, pressure drops are expected to vary with eccentricity. Experimental optimization results for finned circular and elliptic tubes show that pumping power can be minimized with respect to tube spacing and eccentricity. In comparison with values obtained for circular tubes, the optimal elliptical arrangements show pumping power reductions from 5% to 10%.  相似文献

 根据Corkscrew运动的特征,建立了束心Corkscrew运动及其对束流发射度的影响的理论模型,并进行了数值计算,揭示了束心Corkscrew运动造成束流积分发射度增长的一般规律,分析了有关参数对积分发射度的影响。计算结果显示,束心Corkscrew运动是叠加在束心平均偏轴上的一种横向运动,同时也是一种色散效应。虽然束心Corkscrew运动与束心平均偏轴具有很多相同的激励因素,但二者具有截然不同的机理。束流的能散度和初始入射角是Corkscrew运动的两个基本因素,而传输磁场、线圈磁轴倾斜及线圈安装方式对Corkscrew运动的幅度和频率构成较大的影响,并引起束流发射度的增长。只要存在初始入射角、初始入射偏轴或线圈磁轴倾斜中的任何一种因素,就会出现束心偏轴。在数值分析的基础上,针对减小束心Corkscrew运动和束轴的偏心提出了相应的抑制措施。  相似文献

针对Marx发生器小型化的应用需求和快前沿脉冲下Marx发生器内部存在波过程的实际情况,开展了全同轴结构Marx发生器的研制和场路协同仿真。Marx发生器采用基于环形电容器、环形开关、锥形隔离电感、轴心单边充电的全同轴结构方案,避免结构偏心带来的局部场增强效应。在CST软件中建立了Marx发生器实际结构模型,利用时变材料和场路协同仿真功能实现了充放电过程的动态仿真,仿真结果显示出快前沿脉冲下Marx发生器内部存在波过程。据此可以对绝缘设计进行优化,并分析结构参数对输出脉冲的影响。研制的5级Marx发生器体积小于0.015 m3,可在10 μs内充电至88 kV,对40 Ω传输线输出峰值电压210 kV的高压脉冲,峰值功率约1.1 GW,脉冲前沿5.3 ns,半高宽11.2 ns。  相似文献

 氧碘化学激光器由于复杂的动力学因素,激光介质的增益分布通常是不均匀的,这就使得激光输出功率并不完全随着激光输出孔径成线性增加,也由于这种增益分布的不均匀性,即使在激光输出孔径不变的情况下,激光输出功率也会随着光轴位置的改变而发生变化。为此,在激光器工作参数固定条件下,通过实验描述了激光输出功率与激光输出孔径及光轴位置之间存在着的一定的依赖关系。  相似文献

A gyrokinetic analysis is presented to the influence of the electron beam eccentricity on the power and starting current of a coaxial cavity gyrotron, which operates in a higher-order mode TE31, 17, 1 with a frequency of 165 GHz. It is found that the starting current becomes larger because of the existence of the electron-beam eccentricity. Especially, the power will be decreased substantially by the electron beam eccentricity, for example, down to 93% of the power without any eccentricity even if the eccentricity is 1% of the outer conductor radius. The acceptable range of the electron beam voltage and operating magnetic field for the establishment of the electromagnetic oscillation is narrowed by the electron-beam eccentricity.  相似文献

为了进一步提高多单管半导体激光器的输出功率,通过对常见的阶梯型多单管半导体阵列进行分析,提出在光斑尺寸较小的慢轴方向对光束进行填充,在同样的耦合条件下,使更多的激光能量耦合进光纤中,实现更高功率的输出。文中使用光参数积作为评价光束质量的指标,论证了慢轴光束填充的可行性,利用ZEMAX仿真软件对8路常见阶梯型多单管半导体阵列和12路填充阵列进行对比仿真,在不影响耦合效率的前提下,实现了将12路波长为860 nm、输出功率3 W的单管半导体激光器耦合进芯径105 μm、数值孔径0.22的光纤中,光纤输出功率为33.4 W,光纤耦合效率为92.78%。仿真结果表明,对慢轴方向进行光束填充可以在一定程度上提高多单管半导体激光的功率输出。  相似文献

为了研究温升对915 nm宽条形应变量子阱半导体激光器输出特性的影响,搭建了基于半导体制冷片(TEC)的双向温控平台对其进行了测试。首先,改变激光器的外表面温度,测量其在不同注入电流时的光功率和波长,并利用CCD相机测量其慢轴发散角。然后,利用计算机仿真软件对激光器的工作状态进行稳态模拟,从而获得了其对应的热分布情况,通过将模拟得到的数据与实验测量的结果进行比较,获得了两者趋于一致的结论:当热功率从2.1 W升高至20.0 W时,慢轴发散角从2.6°增大至5.0°,同时波长发生红移,热透镜焦距减小;激光器波长随温度变化关系的系数约为0.4 nm/℃,器件热阻为1.5 K/W。因此,为了同时获得高的输出功率和稳定的输出波长,有必要将激光器外表面温度精确控制在某一数值,否则波长将会发生漂移;此外,在设计制作高功率半导体激光器时,通过适当增加条宽并采用散热良好的封装结构,可以减小对慢轴发散角的影响。  相似文献

Based on a set of microoptics the output radiation from a continuous wave (CW) linear laser diode array is coupled into a multi-mode optical fiber of 400 μm diameter.The CW linear laser diode array is a 1 cm laser diode bar with 19 stripes with 100 μm aperture spaced on 500 μm centers.The coupling system contains packaged laser diode bar,fast axis collimator,slow axis collimation array,beam transformation system and focusing system.The high brightness,high power density and single fiber output of a laser diode bar is achieved.The coupling efficiency is 65% and the power density is up to 1.03×104 W/cm2.  相似文献

Normal diode lasers with average output powers of 1 W or more exhibit bad beam quality and therefore cannot be applied for high-precision applications or nonlinear optics. Therefore an external output coupling mirror was used in our experiments. Diffraction-limited operation was achieved, which yielded 400 mW of power and a factor-of-12 improvement in brightness. With this resonator type 1.1 W of average output power was also obtained, with a beam propagation factor of 2.6 in the slow axis; fast axis emission is always diffraction limited.  相似文献

风力机叶尖加小翼,在一定范围内可以增加风力发电机的输出功率,提高功率系数.本文通过应用谱分析法测量风力机风轮旋转时机头的振动谱,通过分析得到了风轮动频,应用动频曲线研究了风力机叶尖小翼对风轮固有频率的影响.实验表明,叶尖小翼虽然降低了风轮静频但通过增大离心力和气动力提高了动频.叶尖小翼可以改善旋转风轮的结构动态特性.  相似文献

基于二极管激光器mini-bar的光纤耦合方式是一种降低耦合系统成本并提高整体转换效率的方法, 为此,采用40片封装在铜微通道冷却器上的连续60 W二极管激光器mini-bar组成空间叠加阵列,作为耦合光源,采用非球面柱透镜及柱透镜阵列对mini-bar叠阵进行了快轴与慢轴的准直,实现了两列叠阵的激光束沿快轴方向的空间合成以提高叠阵激光束的填充因子,合成后的激光束可以耦合进入芯径为800 m、数值孔径为0.22的光纤。测试结果表明,光纤耦合模块输出功率最高为1360 W,整体光光效率58%,光纤端面的功率密度达到1.73105 W/cm2。  相似文献

A new method of using thermally induced second-harmonic output depolarization to determine the fractional thermal loading of a diode-pumped Nd:YVO(4) laser is proposed. The experimental results show that the fraction of the green output power polarized along the extraordinary axis of a KTP crystal, f(e) , is an oscillatory function of the absorbed pump power. The fractional thermal loading can be determined by measurement of the difference in the absorbed pump power between the peaks of f(e) .  相似文献

Comparative study is presented to the effect of the electron-beam misalignment on the starting current and output power of the coaxial-cavity and cylindrical-cavity gyrotron oscillators operating in the millimeter wave ranges. The numerical analysis is based on the gyrokinetic formulas for a TE28,16,1 mode at a frequency of 140 GHz. Results show that the coaxial-cavity gyrotron oscillator has lower starting current and less power loss than the cylindrical-cavity gyrotron oscillator when the electron-beam axis has a misalignment to the cavity axis.  相似文献

为改善条形大功率LD阵列的光束质量,提高其输出功率密度,使其更利于应用,提出了一种基于非成像光学的光束分割重排的光束整形方案,详细讨论了方案的工作原理和设计方法。对整个方案用Zemax进行了仿真优化并通过计算比较整形前后光束的光束参数乘积分析了光束质量的改善情况。首先采用抛物面反射镜对光束进行准直,并配合反射镜实现按发光区对光束的分割,进一步利用平行六面体棱镜对光束的平移效果完成光束重排,最后在输出端得到了光占空比为1的高亮度的矩形光斑。仿真计算结果表明,整形后光束的快慢轴尺寸相近,光束参数乘积比接近于1,质量均衡;整个光束的能量集中,平均功率明显提高。  相似文献

In this work, the effect of an axial external moveable magnetic field on the output power of a CuBr laser with small-bore tube has been investigated. In all experiments, by applying an EMF along the tube axis, the laser output power has been decreased and by moving the EMF toward the cathode region, more substantial decrease of output power has been observed. The effect is more significant at a magnetic field intensity of 1100 G, Ne gas pressure of 35 Torr, frequency of 19 kHz and voltage of 3.8 kV, such that there was no laser emission when the EMF was placed around the cathode.  相似文献

A planar waveguide Nd:YAG laser is pumped with 430 W of power from 10 laser diode bars to produce a multimode output power of 150 W at an optical efficiency of 35%. Use of a hybrid resonator of the positive-branch confocal unstable type for the lateral axis and of one of the near-case I waveguide type for the transverse axis increased the laser brightness by a factor of ~26 with only 12% less power than in the multimode case.  相似文献
