Taking into account the intrinsic decoherence,we have investigated quantum correlations in a two-qubit Heisenberg XX model when a nonuniform magnetic field is included.We compare entanglement measured by entanglement of formation,quantum discord and measurement-induced measurement(MID)and illustrate their diferent characteristics.Quantum discord and MID show the same features and always exist even though there is no entanglement in the long time limit.In the time evolution,quantum discord could be generated or enhanced to the stable value,while MID just decreases to the stable value.  相似文献

We discuss the symmetric quantum discord(SQD) for an arbitrary two-qubit state consisting of subsystems A and B and give the analysis formula of the symmetric quantum discord for the arbitrary two-qubit state. We also give the optimization process of the symmetric quantum discord for some states and obtain the symmetric quantum discord. We compare the quantum discord(QD) with the symmetric quantum discord, and find that the symmetric quantum discord is greater than the quantum discord. We also find that the symmetric quantum discord can be unequal to the quantum discord when the right quantum discord(measure on subsystem B) is equal to the left quantum discord(measure on subsystem A).  相似文献

We study the dynamics of quantum discord and entanglement for two spin qubits coupled to a spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.In the case of a two-qubit with an initial pure state,quantum correlations decay to zero at the critical point of the environment in a very short time.In the case of a two-qubit with initial mixed state,it is found that quantum discord may get maximized due to the quantum critical behavior of the environment,while entanglement vanishes under the same condition.Besides,we observed a sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence when only a single qubit interacts with the environment.The effects of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction on quantum correlations are considered in the two cases.The decay of quantum correlations is always strengthened by Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.  相似文献

Quantum correlations among parts of a composite quantum system are a fundamental resource for several applications in quantum information. In general, quantum discord can measure quantum correlations. In that way, we investigate the quantum discord of the two-qubit system constructed from the Yang-Baxter Equation. The density matrix of this system is generated through the unitary Yang-Baxter matrix R. The analytical expression and numerical result of quantum discord and geometric measure of quantum discord are obtained for the Yang-Baxter system. These results show that quantum discord and geometric measure of quantum discord are only connect with the parameter θ, which is the important spectral parameter in Yang Baxter equation.  相似文献

Quantum correlations play vital roles in the quantum features in quantum information processing tasks. Among the measures of quantum correlations, quantum discord (QD) and entanglement of formation (EOF) axe two significant ones. Recent research has shown that there exists a relation between QD and EOF, which makes QD more significant in quantum information theory. However, until now, there exists no general method of chaxaeterizing quantum discord in high-dimensional quantum systems. In this paper, we have proposed a general method for calculating quantum discord in axbitraxy-dimensionM bipaxtite quantum systems in terms of Hurwitz's theory. Applications including the Werner state, the spin-1 XXZ model thermal equilibrium state, the Horodecki state, and the separable-bound-free entanglement state are investigated. We present the method of obtaining the EOF of axbitraxy-dimensional bipaxtite quantum states via purification, and the relations.hip between QD and EOF.  相似文献

Quantum discord is a measure based on local projective measurements which captures quantum correlations that may not be fully captured by entanglement. A change in the measurement process, achieved by replacing rank-one projectors with a weak positive operator-valued measure (POVM), allows one to define weak variants of quantum discord. In this work, we experimentally simulate the effect of a weak POVM on a nuclear magnetic resonance quantum information processor. The two-qubit system under investigation is part of a three-qubit system, where one of the qubits is used as an ancillary to implement the phase damping channel. The strength of the weak POVM is controlled by varying the strength of the phase damping channel. We experimentally observed two weak variants of quantum discord namely, super quantum discord and weak quantum discord, in two-qubit Werner and Bell-diagonal states. The resultant dynamics of the states is investigated as a function of the measurement strength.  相似文献

极性分子具有较长的相干时间和较强的偶极-偶极相互作用,因此它被视为量子信息处理的有效量子载体.基于分子摆动态作为量子比特,研究了处于热平衡状态下三极性分子线性链系统的三体量子关联特性,分析了三体负性熵纠缠度、测量诱导扰动和三体量子失协随与电场强度、分子电偶极矩、分子转动常数、偶极-偶极相互作用和温度等参数有关的三个无量纲变量之间的变化关系.研究表明:在其他参数给定的情况下,随电场强度的增加,三体量子关联均变小;随偶极-偶极相互作用强度的增大,三体量子关联先增加到峰值再逐渐变小;温度越高,负性熵纠缠度和三体量子失协越小,但测量诱导扰动随温度的改变在电场强度和偶极-偶极相互作用影响下呈现不同的变化趋势.此外,通过调节电场强度、偶极-偶极相互作用和温度,可改变与操控极性分子摆动态的三体量子关联.  相似文献

The level surfaces of quantum discord for a class of two-qubit states are investigated when the Bloch vectors and are perpendicularly oriented. The geometric objects of tetrahedron T and octahedron O are deformed. The level surfaces of constant discord are formed by three interaction "tubes" along three orthogonal directions. They shrink to the center when the Bloch vectors are increased and are expanded and cut off by the state tetrahedron T when the quantum discord is increased. In the phase damping channel, the quantum discord keeps approximately a constant when the time increases.  相似文献

In terms of geometric discord, we study quantum correlations between two qubits interacting with a common heat bath. A necessary and sufficient condition for zero discord for arbitrary two-qubit density matrix is derived. With this condition, we show that a common heat bath can always induce two-qubit quantum correlations if both qubits are initially prepared in arbitrary superposition of “pointer basis”.  相似文献

The thermal quantum discord (QD) is studied in a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction. We compare the thermal QD with thermal entanglement in this system and find remarkable differences between them. For instance, we show situations where QD decreases asymptotically to zero with temperature T while entanglement decreases to zero at the point of critical temperature, situations where QD decreases with certain tunable parameters such as Dz and Dx when entanglement increases. We find that the characteristic of QD is exotic in this system and this possibly offers a potential solution to enhance entanglement of a system. We also show that tunable parameter Dx is more efficient than parameter Dz in most regions for controlling the QD.  相似文献

We study the pairwise quantum discord (QD) for a symmetric multi-qubit system in different types of noisy channels, such as phase-flip, amplitude damping, phase-damping, and depolarizing channels. Using the QD and geometric quantum discord (GMQD) to quantify quantum correlations, some analytical and numerical results are presented. The results show that, the QD dynamics is strongly related to the number of spin particles N as well as the initial parameter ?? of the one-axis twisting collective state. With the number of spin particles N increasing, the amount of the QD increases. However, when the amount of the QD arrives at a stable maximal value, the QD is independence of the number of spin particles N increasing. The behavior of the QD is symmetrical during a period 0 ≤ ?? ≤ 2π. Moreover, we compare the QD dynamics with the GMQD for a symmetric multi-qubit system in different types of noisy channels.  相似文献

采用几何量子失协的计算方法,通过改变两原子初始状态、腔内光子数和偶极-偶极相互作用强度,研究了Tavis-Cummings模型中的几何量子失协特性.结果表明:几何量子失协都是随时间周期性振荡的,选取适当的初态可以使两原子一直保持失协状态,增加腔内光子数和偶极相互作用对几何量子失协有积极的影响.  相似文献

We analyze the classical and quantum correlation properties of the standard and so-called quasiclassical depolarizing channel with correlated noise and non-Markovian dephasing channel, specifically we use the quantum discord, entanglement, and measurement-induced disturbance (MID) to measure the quantum correlations. For the depolarizing channel, we find that the memory effect has more influence on the MID and quantum discord than entanglement. For the dephasing channel, we show that the non-Markovian dephasing channel is more robust than Markovian dephasing channel against deeoherence. We also find that at first MID and quantum discord take different values, and then after a specific time they will take almost the same value and both decay monotonically in the same way.  相似文献

本文研究了不同磁场环境下一维Heisenberg XXZ自旋链中两量子比特的热量子失协特性. 在四种不同的磁场环境下: 1) B1=B2=0 (无磁场); 2) B1≠0, B2=0 (磁场只作用于其中一个量子比特); 3) B1=B2 (均匀磁场); 4) B1=-B2 (非均匀磁场), 对分别作用在每个量子比特上的磁场B1B2对其量子关联的影响作了详细的讨论, 且数值计算和比较了其量子失协和量子纠缠的异同. 结果显示: 在有限温度下, 量子失协相比于量子纠缠更普遍, 且非均匀磁场相比于均匀磁场对量子失协和量子纠缠更有用, 更有利于量子通讯和量子信息处理过程. 关键词: 量子关联 纠缠 量子失协  相似文献

We consider the geometric global quantum discord(GGQD) of two-qubit systems. By analyzing the symmetry of geometric global quantum discord we give an approach for deriving analytical formulae of the extremum problem which lies at the core of computing the GGQD for arbitrary two-qubit states. The dynamics of entanglement and quantum discord(QD) between two two-level atoms interacting with two dissipative coupled cavities in the presence of initial atom-cavity correlations is investigated. In comparison with the result of the initial factorized state, we show that the initial state contained quantum correlation of atom-cavity is most robust against the dissipative environment, and the initial atom-cavity correlations, especially the quantum correlation, play a constructive role in the generation of atomic entanglement and QD.Simultaneously, the comparison between Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics, and the influences of inter-cavity hopping rate are also taken into account and analyzed.  相似文献
