We present an efficient faithful multipartite polarization entanglement distribution protocol over an arbitrary noisy channel. The spatial degree of freedom is used to carry the entanglement during the transmission. We describe the principle by distributing n-qubit Greenberge-Horne-Zeilinger state and n-qubit W state. Our scheme can be used to distribute arbitrary n-qubit entangled states to n distant locations. The remote parties can obtain maximally entangled states deterministically on the polarization of photons. Only passive linear optics are employed in our setup, which makes our scheme more feasible and efficient for practical application in long distance quantum communication. 相似文献

We propose an efficient protocol for W polarization entangled state distribution over an arbitrary collective-noise channel with the help of the cross-Kerr nonlinearity. The entangled state in the frequency degree of freedom, which suffers little from the noise in an optical fiber, is used in the present protocol. The frequency entanglement can be transferred into polarization entanglement with the success probability of 100%. So, the three parities can share the maximally W polarization state with local operations and polarization independent wavelength division multiplexers which can erase distinguishability for frequency. 相似文献

Heralded noiseless amplification is beneficial in overcoming transmission photon loss in a noisy quantum channel. We propose a single-photon-assisted heralded noiseless amplification protocol of the singlephoton entanglement (SPE), where the single-photon qubit has an arbitrary unknown polarization feature. We focus on both the complete and partial photon loss during the transmission process. After the amplification, the parties can recover the pure less-entangled SPE into a maximally entangled SPE and increase its fidelity. Moreover, the polarization feature of the single-photon qubit will be well preserved and not be leaked. Our protocol can be realized under our current experimental condition. Based on the features above, our protocol may be useful in the quantum secure communication schemes that encode information in the polarization degree of freedom of photons. 相似文献

In quantum communication, the channel noise and the misalignment of the reference frames between the communication parties will lead to the failure of quantum state transmission. Here an alignment-free spatial-polarization hyperentanglement transmission scheme is provided for hyperentangled photons. In this scheme, before the spatial-polarization hyperentanglement is transmitted through the fiber channel, it is first encoded as a time-bin entanglement with the same polarization. After the photons pass through the noise channel, the polarization errors caused by reference frames misalignment and channel noise can be corrected by time-bin entanglement. In principle, by implementing this scheme, the communication parties can share the original hyperentangled state, and the success probability can approach unity. The scheme is robust to random channel noise and reference frames misalignment, and the decoherence effect caused by the misalignment of the reference frames between the communication parties can be completely suppressed by implementing this scheme. 相似文献

Due to the unavoidable interaction between the quantum channel and its ambient environment, it is difficult to generate and maintain the maximally entanglement. Thus, the research on multiparty information transmission via non-maximally entangled channels is of academic value and general application. Here, we utilize the non-maximally entangled channels to implement two multiparty remote state preparation schemes for transmitting different quantum information from one sender to two receivers synchronously. The first scheme is adopted to transmit two different four-qubit cluster-type entangled states to two receivers with a certain probability. In order to improve success probabilities of such multicast remote state preparation using non-maximally entangled channels, we put forward the second scheme, which deals with the situation that is a synchronous transfer of an arbitrary single-qubit state and an arbitrary two-qubit state from one sender to two receivers. In particular, its success probability can reach 100% in principle, and independent of the entanglement degree of the shared non-maximally entangled channel. We present an efficient entanglement concentration protocol(ECP) for the less-entangled W state with some identical conventional polarized single photons.In the protocol,two of the parties say Alice and Charlie should perform the parity check measurements and they can ultimately obtain the maximally entangled W state with a certain success probability.Otherwise,they can obtain another less-entangled W state,which can be reconcentrated into the maximally entangled W state.By iterating this ECP,a high success probability can be achieved.This ECP may be an optimal one and it is useful in current quantum information processing. 相似文献

A 1→2 telecloning solution for an arbitrary three-particle entangled W state is proposed in which two four-particle entangled
states are used as quantum channels. It is proposed that the three-particle W state can be telecloned based on the quantum
teleportation and the local copying of entanglement, and the fidelity of each clone depends on the input state. This scheme
can be generalized into the case of 1→N (N>2) telecloning of an arbitrary three-particle W state. Furthermore, another scheme for 1→N (N≥2) telecloning of an arbitrary n-particle (n≥4) W state is proposed, the multi-bit controlled-NOT (CNOT) gates and additional particles are needed in this case.

We experimentally realize a kind of entanglement transformations of bipartite pure states with 100% efficiency. The protocol employs two-outcome positive operator-valued measures (POVMs) and can transform two-photon maximally entangled state to any two-photon entangled pure state with 100% efficiency. The average fidelity of all output states is 96%. Moreover, the scheme to implement arbitrary POVM on single-photon polarization state is also discussed. In principle, our setup can be applied to any kind of entanglement transformations of two-qubit entangled states to achieve optimal successful probability. 相似文献

We present an efficient two-step entanglement concentration protocol (ECP) for three-level atoms trapped in one-sided optical micro-cavities in an arbitrary three-particle less-entangled W state, using the coherent state input-output process in low-Q cavity quantum electrodynamics system. In each step of the new proposed protocol, one of the three remote users prepares the auxiliary coherent optical pulses to perform cavity input-output process and then utilizes the standard homodyne measurement to discriminate the final outgoing coherent states. When both of the two steps are successful, remote parties can deterministically concentrate the less-entangled W state atoms to a standard maximally entangled W state. Compared with previous ECPs for W state, this protocol has some advantages and can be widely used in current quantum repeater and some quantum information processing tasks. 相似文献

We propose a scheme for generating bipartite and multipartite entangled squeezed states via the Jaynes-Cummings model with large detuning. Bipartite entanglement of these entangled states is quantified by the concurrence. We also use the N-tangle to compute multipartite entanglement of these multipartite entangled squeezed states. Finally we discuss two limiting cases which arise from r→∞ and r→0, in which the multipartite entangled squeezed state reduces correspondingly into an N-qubit Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state and an N-qubit W state. 相似文献

双模纠缠态是量子信息领域一种重要的量子资源,本文基于四波混频过程从理论上提出了对双模纠缠态的单个模式(单模放大方案)和对双模纠缠态的两个模式(双模放大方案)的放大.利用光学分束器模型来模拟在光学传输过程中损耗引入的真空场噪声,利用部分转置正定判据分析了两种不同的放大方案中四波混频过程的增益对初始双模纠缠态的纠缠程度的影响.结果表明,在特定的损耗情况下,两个方案中初始双模纠缠态的纠缠度都随增益的增大而减小,直至消失,且双模放大方案中初始双模纠缠态纠缠消失得比单模放大方案中更快.本文的理论结果为实验上实现基于四波混频过程的双模纠缠态的放大奠定了理论基础. 相似文献

We put forward two efficient entanglement concentration protocols(ECPs) for arbitrary less-entangled NOON state.Both ECPs only require one pair of less-entangled NOON state and an auxiliary photon.In the first ECP,the auxiliary photon is shared by two parties,while in the second ECP,the auxiliary photon is only possessed by one party,which can increase the practical success probability by avoiding the transmission loss and simplify the operations.Moreover,both ECPs can be used repeatedly to get a high success probability.Based on the above features,our two ECPs,especially the second one,may be useful in the quantum information processing. 相似文献

We present a protocol for directly measuring the concurrence of a two-photon polarization entangled pure or mixed state without prior quantum state tomography. By parity-check measurements and simple operations on two copies of the two-photon polarization entangled pure state, the concurrence is encoded in the total probability of picking up the odd parity states from the signal states. This protocol makes use of highly efficient homodyne detection, and it could be feasible in the near future with the help of the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity. Moreover, our protocol can be used in a distributed fashion to directly determine the entanglement of remote states, which may find its important applications in quantum communication. 相似文献
