Relativistic solution in D-dimensions to a spin-zero particle for equal scalar and vector ring-shaped Kratzer potential

The Klein-Gordon equation in D-dimensions for a recently proposed ring-shaped Kratzer potential is solved analytically by means of the conventional Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The exact energy bound states and the corresponding wave functions of the Klein-Gordon are obtained in the presence of the non-central equal scalar and vector potentials. The results obtained in this work are more general and can be reduced to the standard forms in three dimensions given by other works.      

The relativistic bound and scattering states of the Manning-Rosen potential with an improved new approximate scheme to the centrifugal term

The approximately analytical bound and scattering state solutions of the arbitrary l-wave Klein-Gordon equation for the mixed Manning-Rosen potentials are carried out by an improved new approximation to the centrifugal term. The normalized analytical radial wave functions of the l-wave Klein-Gordon equation with the mixed Manning-Rosen potentials are presented and the corresponding energy equations for bound states and phase shifts for scattering states are derived. It is shown that the energy levels of the continuum states, reduce to the bound states of those at the poles of the scattering amplitude. Some useful figures are plotted to show the improved accuracy of our results and the special case for wave is studied briefly.

Klein-Gordon oscillators in noncommutative phase space

We study the Klein-Gordon oscillators in non-commutative (NC) phase space.We find that the Klein-Gordon oscillators in NC space and NC phase-space have a similar behaviour to the dynamics of a particle in commutative space moving in a uniform magnetic field.By solving the Klein-Gordon equation in NC phase space,we obtain the energy levels of the Klein-Gordon oscillators,where the additional terms related to the space-space and momentum-momentum non-commutativity are given explicitly.     

Exact Klein-Gordon equation with spatially dependent masses for unequal scalar-vector Coulomb-like potentials

We study the effect of spatially dependent mass functions over the solution of the Klein-Gordon equation in the (3 + 1 -dimensions for spinless bosonic particles where the mixed scalar-vector Coulomb-like field potentials and masses are directly proportional and inversely proportional to the distance from the force center. The exact bound-state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions of the Klein-Gordon equation for mixed scalar-vector and pure scalar Coulomb-like field potentials are obtained by means of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The energy spectrum is discussed for different scalar-vector potential mixing cases and also for the constant-mass case.

Exact Analytical Solution of the Klein-Gordon Equation in the Generalized Woods-Saxon Potential

The exact analytical solution of the Klein-Gordon equation for the spin-0 particles in the generalized Woods-Saxon potential is presented. The bound state energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions are obtained in the closed forms. The correlations between the potential parameters and energy eigenvalues are examined for π⁰ particles.     

Arbitrary Wave Relativistic Bound State Solutions for the Eckart Potential

The approximately analytical bound state solutions of the l-wave Klein-Gordon and k-state Dirac equations with the mixed Eckart potentials are carried out by a proper approximation to the centrifugal term. The analytical radial wave functions of the l-wave Klein-Gordon and k-state Dirac equations with the mixed Eckart potentials are presented and the corresponding energy equations are derived. Two special cases for k=1 and for k=1 and β=0 are studied briefly. Finally, we also verify the rationality of this approximation.     

PT\mathcal {P}\mathcal {T}-Symmetric Klein-Gordon Oscillator

Parity-time (PT)(\mathcal {P}\mathcal {T}) symmetric Klein-Gordon oscillator is presented using PT\mathcal {P}\mathcal {T}-symmetric minimal substitution. It is shown that wave equation is exactly solvable, and energy spectrum is the same as that of Hermitian Klein-Gordon oscillator presented by Bruce and Minning. Landau problem of PT\mathcal {P}\mathcal {T}-symmetric Klein-Gordon oscillator is discussed.     

Progress in a trajectory interpretation of the Klein-Gordon equation

A trajectory interpretation is developed for the Klein-Gordon equation in one dimension. The development is couched in a Hamilton-Jacobi representation. Equations of motion are developed. Different trajectories for a given eigenvalue energy are shown to manifest different microstates of the eigenfunction of that particular energy.     

On Asymptotic Stability of Moving Kink for Relativistic Ginzburg-Landau Equation

We prove the asymptotic stability of the moving kinks for the nonlinear relativistic wave equations in one space dimension with a Ginzburg-Landau potential: starting in a small neighborhood of the kink, the solution, asymptotically in time, is the sum of a uniformly moving kink and dispersive part described by the free Klein-Gordon equation. The remainder decays in a global energy norm. Our recent results on the weighted energy decay for the Klein-Gordon equations play a crucial role in the proofs.

The notion of persistence applied to breathers in thermal equilibrium

We study the thermal equilibrium of nonlinear Klein-Gordon chains at the limit of small coupling (anticontinuum limit). We show that the persistence distribution associated to the local energy density is a useful tool to study the statistical distribution of the so-called thermal breathers, mainly when the equilibrium is characterized by long-lived pinned excitations; in that case, the distribution of persistence intervals turns out to be a power law. We demonstrate also that this generic behaviour has a counterpart in the power spectra, where the high-frequencies domains nicely collapse if properly rescaled. These results are also compared to nonlinear Klein-Gordon chains with a soft nonlinearity, for which the thermal breathers are rather mobile entities. Finally, we discuss the possibility of a breather-induced anomalous diffusion law, and show that despite a strong slowing down of the energy diffusion, there are numerical evidences for a normal asymptotic diffusion mechanism, but with exceptionally small diffusion coefficients.

The Relativistic Scattering States of the Hulthén Potential with an Improved New Approximate Scheme to the Centrifugal Term

The normalized analytical radial wave functions of the l-wave Klein-Gordon equation with the mixed Hulthén potentials are presented and the corresponding calculation formula of phase shifts is derived. It is well shown that the energy levels of the continuum states reduce to those of the bound states at the poles of the scattering amplitude. Some useful figures are plotted to show the improved accuracy of our results and two special cases for s-wave (l=0) and for l=0 and equal scalar and vector Hulthén potentials are also studied briefly.

Relativistic solutions for diatomic molecules subject to pseudoharmonic oscillator in arbitrary dimensions

The exact solutions of the N-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation in the presence of an exactly solvable potential of V(r)=De(r/re-re/r)2 type have been obtained. The N dimensional Klein-Gordon equation has been reduced to a first-order differential equation via Laplace transformation. The exact bound state energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions for CH,H2,and HCl molecules interacting with pseudoharmonic oscillator potential in the arbitrary N dimensions have been determined. Bound state eigenfunctions used in applications related to molecular spectroscopy are obtained in terms of confluent hypergeometric functions.     

Any l-state solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation with the generalized Hulthén potential

We present analytical solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation with non-zero l values for the general Hulthén potential within the framework of an approximation to the centrifugal potential for any l-states. The explicit expressions of bound state energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are derived. Three special cases, s-wave, standard Hulthén potential and ground state are discussed.
