We extend the results for 2-D Boussinesq equations from ℝ2 to a bounded domain Ω. First, as for the existence of weak solutions, we transform Boussinesq equations to a nonlinear evolution equation U t + A(t, U) = 0. In stead of using the methods of fundamental solutions in the case of entire ℝ2, we study the qualities of F(u, υ) = (u · ▽)υ to get some useful estimates for A(t, U), which helps us to conclude the local-in-time existence and uniqueness of solutions. Second, as for blow-up criterions, we use energy methods, Sobolev inequalities and Gronwall inequality to control and by and . Furthermore, can control by using vorticity transportation equations. In this paper, we consider the problem of the existence of non-negative weak solution u of
having a given closed set S as its singular set. We prove that when and S is a closed subset of Ω, then there are infinite many positive weak solutions with S as their singular set. Applying this method to the conformal scalar curvature equation for n ≥ 9, we construct a weak solution of such that Sn is the singular set of u where L0 is the conformal Laplacian with respect to the standard metric of Sn. The proof is based on the fact that the operator norm of the Berezin transform is smaller than 1. The local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the fifth order shallow water equation δtu+αδx^5u+βδx^3u+rδxu+μuδru=0,x,t∈R, is established for low regularity data in Sobolev spaces H^s(s≥-3/8) by the Fourier restriction norm method. Moreover, the global well-posedness for L^2 data follows from the local well-posedness and the conserved quantity. For data in H^s(s〉0), the global well-posedness is also proved, where the main idea is to use the generalized bilinear estimates associated with the Fourier restriction norm method to prove that the existence time of the solution only depends on the L^2 norm of initial data.  相似文献
