Burkholder-Gundy-Davis inequality in martingale Hardy spaces with variable exponent

In this article, by extending classical Dellacherie's theorem on stochastic sequences to variable exponent spaces, we prove that the famous Burkholder-Gundy-Davis inequality holds for martingales in variable exponent Hardy spaces. We also obtain the variable exponent analogues of several martingale inequalities in classical theory, including convexity lemma, Chevalier's inequality and the equivalence of two kinds of martingale spaces with predictable control. Moreover, under the regular condition on σ-algebra sequence we prove the equivalence between five kinds of variable exponent martingale Hardy spaces.     

L1 Existence and Uniqueness of Entropy Solutions to Nonlinear Multivalued Elliptic Equations with Homogeneous Neumann Boundary Condition and Variable Exponent

In this work, we study the following nonlinear homogeneous Neumann boundary value problemβ （u） -diva （x, 7u） f in fΩ, a （x, u）. η= 0 on Ω, where Ω is a smooth bounded open domain in RN, N ≥ 3 with smooth boundary Ωand ηthe outer unit normal vector on Ω . We prove the existence and uniqueness of an entropy solution for L1-data f. The functional setting involves Lebesgue and Sobolev spaces with variable exponent.     

DOOB’S MAXIMAL INEQUALITIES FOR MARTINGALES IN VARIABLE LEBESGUE SPACE

In this paper we deal with the martingales in variable Lebesgue space over a probability space.We first prove several basic inequalities for conditional expectation operators and give several norm convergence conditions for martingales in variable Lebesgue space.The main aim of this paper is to investigate the boundedness of weak-type and strong-type Doob’s maximal operators in martingale Lebesgue space with a variable exponent.In particular,we present two kinds of weak-type Doob’s maximal inequalities and some necessary and sufficient conditions for strong-type Doob’s maximal inequalities.Finally,we provide two counterexamples to show that the strong-type inequality does not hold in general variable Lebesgue spaces with p>1.     

Morrey Estimates for Schrdinger Type Elliptic Equations

In this paper, by means of Olsen type inequalities related to the fractional integral operator, the authors establish the interior estimates in Morrey spaces for Schrdinger type elliptic equations with potentials satisfying a reverse Hlder condition.     

Vector-valued Inequalities for Commutators of Singular Integrals on Herz Spaces with Variable Exponents

Based on the theory of variable exponents and BMO norms,we prove the vector-valued inequalities for commutators of singular integrals on both homogeneous and inhomogeneons Herz spaces where the two main indices are variable exponents.Furthermore,we show that a wide class of commutators generated by BMO functions and sublinear operators satisfy vector-valued inequalities.     

Riesz-Kolmogorov theorem in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces and its applications to Riemann-Liouville fractional differential equations

In this paper, we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition of the pre-compact sets in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces, which is also called the Riesz-Kolmogorov theorem. The main novelty appearing in this approach is the constructive approximation which does not rely on the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator in the considered spaces such that we do not need the log-H¨older continuous conditions on the variable exponent. As applications, we establish the boundedness of Riemann-Liouville integral operators and prove the compactness of truncated Riemann-Liouville integral operators in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. Moreover, applying the Riesz-Kolmogorov theorem established in this paper, we obtain the existence and the uniqueness of solutions to a Cauchy type problem for fractional differential equations in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.

Lipschitz Properties in Variable Exponent Problems via Relative Rearrangement

The author first studies the Lipschitz properties of the monotone and relative rearrangement mappings in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces completing the result given in [9]. This paper is ended by establishing the Lipschitz properties for quasilinear problems with variable exponent when the right-hand side is in some dual spaces of a suitable Sobolev space associated to variable exponent.

Boundedness of maximal operators and potential operators on Carleson curves in Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent

We prove the boundedness of the maximal operator Mr in the spaces L^p（·）（Г,p） with variable exponent p（t） and power weight p on an arbitrary Carleson curve under the assumption that p（t） satisfies the log-condition on Г. We prove also weighted Sobolev type L^p（·）（Г, p） → L^q（·）（Г, p）-theorem for potential operators on Carleson curves.     

Weak martingale Hardy spaces and weak atomic decompositions

In this paper we define some weak martingale Hardy spaces and three kinds of weak atoms. They are the counterparts of martingale Hardy spaces and atoms in the classical martingale Hp-theory. And then three atomic decomposition theorems for martingales in weak martingale Hardy spaces are proved. With the help of the weak atomic decompositions of martingale, a sufficient condition for a sublinear operator defined on the weak martingale Hardy spaces to be bounded is given. Using the sufficient condition, we obtain a series of martingale inequalities with respect to the weak Lp-norm, the inequalities of weak (p ,p)-type and some continuous imbedding relationships between various weak martingale Hardy spaces. These inequalities are the weak versions of the basic inequalities in the classical martingale Hp-theory.     

Non-embedding theorems of nilpotent Lie groups and sub-Riemannian manifolds

Wo prove that there do not exist quasi-isometric embeddings of connected nonabelian nilpotent Lie groups equipped with left invariant Riemannian metrics into a metric measure space satisfying the curvature-dimension condition RCD(Q,N)with N∈R and N>1.In fact,we can prove that a sub-Riemannian manifold whose generic degree of nonholonomy is not smaller than 2 cannot be bi-Lipschitzly embedded in any Banach space with the Radon-Nikodym property.We also get that every regular sub-Riemannian manifold do not satisfy the curvature-dimension condition CD(K,N),where K,N∈R and N>1.Along the way to the proofs,we show that the minimal weak upper gradient and the horizontal gradient coincide on the Carnot-Caratheodory spaces which may have independent interests.

In the case of Ω∈ Lipγ(Sn-1)(0 γ≤ 1), we prove the boundedness of the Marcinkiewicz integral operator μΩon the variable exponent Herz-Morrey spaces. Also, we prove the boundedness of the higher order commutators μmΩ,bwith b ∈ BMO(Rn) on both variable exponent Herz spaces and Herz-Morrey spaces, and extend some known results.

The main purpose of this paper is to characterize the Lipschitz space by the boundedness of commutators on Lebesgue spaces and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponent.Based on this main purpose, we first characterize the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponent by two families of operators. Immediately after, applying the characterizations of TriebelLizorkin space with variable exponent, we obtain that b ∈■β if and only if the commutator of Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operator is bounded, respectively, from■ to■,from■ to■ with■. Moreover, we prove that the commutator of Riesz potential operator also has corresponding results.     

Littlewood–Paley Operators on Spaces with Variable Exponent on Homogeneous Groups

In this paper,on homogeneous groups,we study the Littlewood–Paley operators in variable exponent spaces.First,we prove that the weighted Littlewood–Paley operators are controlled by the weighted Hardy–Littlewood maximal function,and obtain the vector-valued inequalities of the Littlewood–Paley operators,including the Lusin function,Littlewood–Paley g function and gλ* function.Second,we prove the boundedness of multilinear Littlewood–Paley gψ,λ* function.     

Anti-commutative Grbner-Shirshov basis of a free Lie algebra

The concept of Hall words was first introduced by P. Hall in 1933 in his investigation on groups of prime power order. Then M. Hall in 1950 showed that the Hall words form a basis of a free Lie algebra by using direct construction, that is, first he started with a linear space spanned by Hall words, then defined the Lie product of Hall words and finally checked that the product yields the Lie identities. Entropy and renormalized solutions for nonlinear elliptic problem involving variable exponent and measure data

We give an existence result of entropy and renormalized solutions for strongly nonlinear elliptic equations in the framework of Sobolev spaces with variable exponents of the type:-div(a(x, u, u) + φ(u)) + g(x, u, u) = μ, where the right-hand side belongs to L1(Ω) + W-1,p(x)(Ω),-div(a(x, u, u)) is a Leray–Lions oper- ator defined from W-1,p(x)(Ω) into its dual and φ∈ C0(R, RN). The function g(x, u, u) is a non linear lower order term with natural growth with respect to |u| satisfying the sign condition, that is,g(x, u, u)u ≥ 0.     

On the index of finite determinacy of vector fields with resonances

In this paper we study normal forms for a class of germs of 1-resonant vector fields on R^n with mutually different eigenvalues which may admit extraneous resonance relations. We give an estimation on the index of finite determinacy from above as well as the essentially simplified polynomial normal forms for such vector fields. In the case that a vector field has a zero eigenvalue, the result leads to an interesting corollary, a linear dependence of the derivatives of the hyperbolic variables on the central variable.     

N-Widths and Average Widths of Besov Classes in Sobolev Spaces

In this paper, we consider the n-widths and average widths of Besov classes in the usual Sobolev spaces. The weak asymptotic results concerning the Kolmogorov n-widths, the linear n-widths, the Gel＇fand n-widths, in the Sobolev spaces on T^d, and the infinite-dimensional widths and the average widths in the Sobolev spaces on Ra are obtained, respectively.     

On the boundary limits of monotone Sobolev functions in variable exponent Orlicz spaces

Our aim in this note is to deal with boundary limits of monotone Sobolev functions with ▽u∈ Lp(·)logLq(·)(B) for the unit ball BRn. Here p(·) and q(·) are variable exponents satisfyingthe log-Hlder and the log log-Hlder conditions, respectively.
