本文主要结果有三:第一,推导出基波激励和次谐波激励参量放大器的优值、功率增益、和通带等主要特性,并就这些特性对基波激励源的和次谐波激励源的参量放大器进行比较;第二,通过半导体二极管非线性电容的谐波分量的分析,在激励电压、偏压和放大器的特性间得出定量关系,并且对给定放大器特性求出激励源幅度和频率的稳定要求;第三,推导出放大器的有效噪声,并给出最低有效噪声的设计条件。以上特性的探讨和二极管损耗、信号迴路和镜象迴路通带比、匹配等因子结合在一起进行,使所得结果更具有实际意义。最后举出一数字例子,说明应用本文结果来设计参量放大器的一种可能步骤。 关键词:  相似文献

 介绍了准光腔型虚阴极振荡器。利用光学谐振腔标量波动理论,分析了准光学谐振腔的腔场特性;并采用二维半全电磁PIC程序对器件进行了粒子模拟,得到了主频为7.0GHz、平均功率超过1.3GW、以准高斯模为主的微波输出,束波作用平均转换效率接近10%。  相似文献

The field pattern of the resonator used in a quasi-optical gyrotron operating in the millimetre wave range is measured. Two resonators are studied: one composed of a spherical mirror and an ellipsoidal grating and the other symmetric using two mirrors with annular slots. The measurements indicate that the electric field distribution is gaussian, in spite of the complex geometry of the resonator, and thus provide an experimental basis for the assumption often used to compute the efficiency of quasi-optical gyrotrons.  相似文献

Open resonators in which both mirrors have a central step have been predicted to exhibit mode selection properties. This is advantageous for the design of quasi-optical gyrotrons. Quality factor measurements of a 36 cm resonator at 120 GHz are presented and compared with theory. Although the effect of the step is clearly seen, the quality factor Q of the resonator is lower than that predicted.  相似文献

The theoretical and experimental analysis of the open resonator with the reflection diffraction comb grating has been presented. This resonator has excitation where is close to the monofrequency mode. A quasi-optical reflection cavity intended to be used as the resonant load of a submillimeter wavelength oscillator has been designed, constructed, and tested. The resonator consists of three elements in cascade: a high Q, high finesse folded Fabry-Perot resonator, a lower Q, low finesse Fabry-Perot resonator, and a Littrow mounted diffraction grating. The resonator exhibits a Q of 6600 and 2.5 dB of loss at 63 GHz. The design can be scaled to 1 THz, where waveguide structures become impractical, to serve as the resonator for high frequency quantum well resonant tunneling device oscillators.  相似文献

提出一种基于分布反馈光注入锁定效应的可调谐光电振荡器,其环路主要由马赫曾德尔调制器、光电探测器、环形器、分布反馈激光器和射频放大器顺接而成,分布反馈激光器是系统关键器件,通过分布反馈激光器光注入锁定效应,分布反馈腔在光域实现了微波光子滤波器功能,无需传统光电振荡器必须的射频带通滤波器.同时,由于分布反馈激光器注入锁定提高了环路Q值,因此系统可采用短环路结构,从而降低了光纤因温度敏感对微波信号稳定性的影响并减小了整个系统的尺寸.另外,通过调节注入光波长和功率可改变该微波光子滤波器的中心频率,从而可实现系统的可调谐性.理论分析了该光电振荡器的原理和微波光子滤波器的调谐性,在此基础上开展了实验验证.结果表明该光电振荡器能够产生18.7~21.6 GHz的可调微波信号,在1 kHz频偏处的相位噪声为-90 dBc/Hz.  相似文献

采用双球镜准光腔、频谱仪和锁相返波管组建了D波段低损耗介质测试系统,该系统通过频谱仪和外置谐波混频器得到腔体谐振测试数据,并用拟合或积分方法从谐振曲线中求解出准光腔的品质因数。测得双球镜开腔的固有品质因数大于8105,使该系统在工作波段可测量损耗角正切为10-5量级的低损耗介质。用该系统测出的石英、人造金刚石和蓝宝石的介电常数和损耗,与报道的结果一致,并测得4H-SiC在132.07 GHz的介电常数实部为9.598,损耗角正切为6.110-5。  相似文献

We demonstrate, for what is the first time to our knowledge, long-term stable, continuously tunable operation of a doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a single-stripe diode laser without the use of an external semiconductor amplifier. The OPO is based on periodically poled lithium niobate and is pumped by a 150-mW distributed Bragg grating diode laser. 18-mW total output power is generated at 1.3- and 2.3-mum wavelengths. A cavity-length servo system allows continuous signal tuning of 17 GHz and idler tuning of 10 GHz, limited only by the range of a piezoelectric cavity mirror mount. OPO tuning is demonstrated from 1.1 to 1.4 mum and from 2.2 to 3.7 mum.  相似文献

基于非共线光参量放大,以波长800 nm飞秒激光的倍频光为抽运光,以激光二极管640 nm连续波激光为信号光,产生了与800 nm飞秒激光精确同步的无直流本底的1064 nm脉冲光。实验结果显示该1064 nm的光脉冲在脉冲能量和空间光束质量上均可作为1064 nm波长脉冲放大器的种子光。仅通过一级简单紧凑的非共线参量放大就可实现光周期量级的光参量啁啾脉冲放大系统的抽运激光和种子光的精确同步。  相似文献

In the design of a 120 GHz 200 kW quasi-optical gyrotron, we have analyzed the influence of the open resonator geometry (two circular mirrors facing one another) on the electronic efficiency, the ohmic losses, the output coupling and the multimode behavior. The method we have used to optimized the resonator design will be presented. Mode selectivity is improved by using a resonator formed by two mirrors each of which has a central step. Numerical simulations show that single mode operation can also be attained in the more favorable situation of a magnetic field having a positive taper over the interaction region.  相似文献

抽运光源是光纤拉曼放大器应用于密集波分复用系统的关键技术,设计了一种紧凑型的808nm激光二极管抽运的基于钒酸钇(Nd^3+:YVO4)晶体1342nm固体激光器模块,提出利用上述1342nm固体激光器抽运基于光纤光栅的单级全光纤型拉曼谐振器获得1.4μm激光输出的光纤拉曼激光器,分析了固体激光器的阈值特性、性能优化方法和单级光纤拉曼谐振器的设计方法。上述1342nm固体激光器模块在抽运功率2W时获得了最大655mW的激光输出功率和42.6%的斜率效率,单级拉曼谐振器的1342nm到1.4μm光功率转换斜率效率达75%,在1425nm、1438nm、1455nm和1490nm处的输出功率达到300mW以上。最后给出基于1.4μm光纤拉曼激光器抽运的宽带平坦放大的光纤拉曼放大器的结构参量和性能测试结果。  相似文献

It is determined for the structure of the source-array located in inner surface of input quasi-optical resonator operating at frequency 100GHz using Type WT5731 GaAs Gunn diodes made in P.R. The processes of parametric amplification and oscillation in a medium with cubic polarization are investigated theoretically taking into consideration the depletion of the pump wave. We suppose that phase-matching is realized exactly (a possible nonlinear detuning of the exact phase-matching should be compensated by a suitable subsequent adjustment of the frequencies). A consequence of linear losses is the appearance of a threshold for the parametric amplification. There exist a maximum length, a minimum length and an optimum length of the nonlinear medium for the process of parametric amplification. The threshold intensity, the optimum length of the nonlinear medium and the optimum reflection coefficient for outcoupling are determined for two arrangements of the double resonant parametric four-photon oscillator (ring resonator, FABRY -PEROT resonator). It is shown that for the above mentioned arrangements of the single resonant and the double resonant four-photon oscillator the efficiency is a monotonous function of the threshold excess. On the contrary in case of the three-photon oscillator there exists an optimum value of the threshold excess.  相似文献

以光纤光栅为谐振腔搭建了波长为1020 nm的光纤激光器,并通过两级级联放大获得了590 mW的最大输出功率. 利用获得的波长为1020 nm的激光进行了波长为1064 nm种子光同带抽运放大,实验研究了不同增益光纤长度时放大器的输出功率和转换效率. 当增益光纤长度为8.5 m时,放大器最大输出功率为385 mW,斜率效率为81%. 进行了波长为976 nm的半导体激光器直接抽运波长为1064 nm种子光的实验. 在增益光纤长度最优时,其斜率效率为56.4%. 实验结果表明,同带抽运方式比传统抽运方式具有更高的转换效率. 研究结果可为波长为1020 nm的激光高功率放大和波长为1064 nm的光纤激光高功率同带抽运放大提供一定的参考. 关键词: 同带抽运 光纤放大器 斜率效率  相似文献

We report operation of an all-fiber degenerate optical parametric oscillator that employs a nonlinear-fiber Sagnac interferometer as a parametric amplifier. Synchronous pumping with 3.9-ps pulses at 1544 nm yields 0.83-ps output pulses. The wide bandwidth of the fiber parametric amplifier causes the oscillator to act as a pulse compressor. The output signal pulses exhibit improved spectral symmetry and a reduced time-bandwidth product compared with the pump pulses. Currently, the net group-velocity dispersion in the passive section of the fiber cavity limits the signal-pulse bandwidth and hence the minimum-obtainable pulse width. This experiment suggests the possibility of frequency conversion by operation of a similar pulsed parametric oscillator away from degeneracy.  相似文献

An experimental study was carried out to test the concept of using a gyrotron with a tapered circuit in a uniform magnetic field as a high-power tunable source of millimeter-wave radiation. It was demonstrated that the device can be used as either an oscillator or an amplifier with the operating frequency tunable by varying the magnetic field. In the oscillator mode, the tube produced a peak output power of 500-750 W with the frequency continuously tunable from 30 to 39 GHz. As an amplifier mode, the tube demonstrated an electronic gain of ~23 dB at a magnetically tunable center frequency with an instantaneous bandwidth of ~5 percent. The stability characteristics of the amplifier were also investigated.  相似文献

针对亚毫米波混频二极管管对电路模型不够精确的问题,采用场路结合协同分析,将进出二极管的频率信号分类处理,建立了一种应用于亚毫米波分谐波混频器电路的反向并联二极管对精确电路模型。基于获取的管对精确电路模型,建立了全局性的分谐波混频器电路的集总元件等效电路模型,设计并实现了一款183GHz分谐波混频器。测试结果表明混频器在本振频率为92GHz、功率为2mW,射频频率176~192GHz范围内,双边带变频损耗小于6.8dB,等效噪声温度小于800K,在182GHz测得最小双边带变频损耗为4.9dB,与仿真数据吻合较好。  相似文献

The rise time for the output power of a doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator with ring resonator configuration is calculated for the special case of subharmonic generation. It is shown that the rise time decreases by increasing the pumping level (for a constant threshold power) and, for a constant pumping level, by increasing the resonator loss.  相似文献
