In this paper, we establish some fixed point theorems for a family of multivalued maps under mild conditions. By using our fixed point theorems, we derive some maximal element theorems for a particular family of multivalued maps, namely the Φ-condensing multivalued maps. As applications of our results, we prove some general equilibrium existence theorems in the generalized abstract economies with preference correspondences. Further applications of our results are also given to minimax inequalities for a family of functions.  相似文献

We present the Komlós theorem for multivalued functions whose values are closed (possibly unbounded) convex subsets of a separable Banach space. Komlós theorem can be seen as a generalization of the SLLN for it deals with a sequence of integrable multivalued functions that do not have to be identically distributed nor independent. The Artstein–Hart SLLN for random sets with values in Euclidean spaces is derived from the main result. Finally, since the main theorem concerns multifunctions whose values are allowed to be unbounded, we can restate it in terms of normal integrands (random lower semicontinuous functions).  相似文献

By using relatively weakly compactness conditions, we obtain existence theorems of fixed points for discontinuous multivalued increasing operators in Banach spaces. As an application, we utilize the results obtained in Section 2 to lead to the existence principles for integral inclusions of Hammerstein type multivalued maps.  相似文献

In a separable Hilbert space we consider an evolution inclusion with a multivalued perturbation and the evolution operators that are the compositions of a linear operator and the subdifferentials of a time-dependent proper convex lower semicontinuous function. Alongside the initial inclusion, we consider a sequence of approximating evolution inclusions with the same perturbation and the evolution operators that are the compositions of the same linear operator and the subdifferentials of the Moreau–Yosida regularizations of the initial function. We demonstrate that the attainable set of the initial inclusion as a multivalued function of time is the time uniform limit of a sequence of the attainable sets of the approximating inclusions in the Hausdorff metric. We obtain similar results for evolution control systems of subdifferential type with mixed constraints on control. As application we consider an example of a control system with discontinuous nonlinearities containing some linear functions of the state variables of the system.  相似文献

Motivated by the applications to differential equations without uniqueness conditions, we separately prove multivalued versions of the celebrated Sharkovskii and Li–Yorke theorems. These are then applied, via multivalued Poincaré operators, to Carathéodory differential inclusions. Thus, besides another, infinitely many subharmonics of all integer orders can be obtained. Unlike in the single-valued case, for example, period three brings serious obstructions. Three counter-examples, related to these complications, are therefore presented as well. In a multivalued setting, new phenomena are so exhibited.  相似文献

In this paper we consider systems of equations which are defined by nonsmooth functions of a special structure. Functions of this type are adapted from Kojima's form of the Karush–Kuhn–Tucker conditions for C2—optimization problems. We shall show that such systems often represent conditions for critical points of variational problems (nonlinear programs, complementarity problems, generalized equations, equilibrium problems and others). Our main purpose is to point out how different concepts of generalized derivatives lead to characterizations of different Lipschitz properties of the critical point or the stationary solution set maps.  相似文献

An example of an SDP (semidefinite program) exhibits a substantial difficulty in proving the superlinear convergence of a direct extension of the Mizuno—Todd—Ye type predictor—corrector primal-dual interior-point method for LPs (linear programs) to SDPs, and suggests that we need to force the generated sequence to converge to a solution tangentially to the central path (or trajectory). A Mizuno—Todd—Ye type predictor—corrector infeasible-interior-point algorithm incorporating this additional restriction for monotone SDLCPs (semidefinite linear complementarity problems) enjoys superlinear convergence under strict complementarity and nondegeneracy conditions. © 1998 The Mathematical Programming Society, Inc. In this paper, we prove sufficient conditions for controllability and strong controllability in terms of the Mordukhovich subdifferential for two classes of differential inclusions. The first one is the class of sub-Lipschitz multivalued functions introduced by Loewen-Rockafellar (1994) [10]. The second one, introduced recently by Clarke (2005) [18], is the class of multivalued functions which are pseudo-Lipschitz and satisfy the so-called tempered growth condition. To do this, we establish an error bound result in terms of the Mordukhovich subdifferential outside Asplund spaces.  相似文献

In this article we state conditions under which the existence of deterministic coincidence points of two multivalued random functions implies the existence of random coincidence points. Moreover, two existence results of measurable selections are obtained for the intersection of the multivalued function evaluated at the random coincidence point. We discuss a special eigenstate of the quantized periodic Calogero—Moser system associated to a root system. This state has the property that its eigenfunctions, when regarded as multivalued functions on the space of regular conjugacy classes in the corresponding semisimple complex Lie group, transform under monodromy according to the complex reflection representation of the affine Hecke algebra. We show that this endows the space of conjugacy classes in question with a projective structure. For a certain parameter range this projective structure underlies a complex hyperbolic structure. If in addition a Schwarz type of integrality condition is satisfied, then it even has the structure of a ball quotient minus a Heegner divisor. For example, the case of the root system E8 with the triflection monodromy representation describes a special eigenstate for the system of 12 unordered points on the projective line under a particular constraint.  相似文献

We show that a familiar constraint qualification of differentiable programming has nonsmooth counterparts. As a result, necessary optimality conditions of Kuhn—Tucker type can be established for inequality-constrained mathematical programs involving functions not assumed to be differentiable, convex, or locally Lipschitzian. These optimality conditions reduce to the usual Karush—Kuhn—Tucker conditions in the differentiable case and sharpen previous results in the locally Lipschitzian case.  相似文献

In this paper we study the existence of pullback global attractors for multivalued processes generated by differential inclusions. First, we define multivalued dynamical processes, prove abstract results on the existence of -limit sets and global attractors, and study their topological properties (compactness, connectedness). Further, we apply the abstract results to nonautonomous differential inclusions of the reaction–diffusion type in which the forcing term can grow polynomially in time, and to stochastic differential inclusions as well.  相似文献

In this paper we study the solvability of some classes of differential inclusions with multivalued linear operators in homogeneous spaces of functions. These spaces include a large number of functional spaces like periodic functions and Bohr and Stepanov almost periodic functions. This paper introduces seven derivatives in mathematical programming in locally convex topological vector spaces. All these derivatives have been known in various fields of mathematical sciences but they have never been used before in mathematical programming. The weakest of the seven derivatives is the compact derivative of Gil de Lamadrid and Sova. The derivative used by Neustadt in optimization theory is stronger than the compact derivative and it is equivalent to the derivative introduced by Michal and Bastiani. The main results of the paper show that the optimality conditions of both Lagrange—Kuhn—Tucker type and Caratheodory—John type hold for compactly differentiable functions. In the case of finite-dimensional spaces all these seven derivatives are equivalent to the Fréchet derivative.Research partly supported by the National Research Council of Canada. Because multifunctions do not have so good properties as single-valued functions, only the existence of solutions of the polynomial-like iterative equation of order 2 is discussed for multi functions. This article gives conditions for its Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability. As a consequence, the authors obtain its Hyers-Ulam stability and prove that the equation has a unique multivalued solution near an approximate multivalued solution.  相似文献

In this paper we give Markov Bernstein type inequalities for derivative of polynomials on some subsets of R. In this paper we define multivalued semiprocesses and give theorems providing the existence of global attractors for such systems. This theory generalizes the construction of nonautonomous dynamical systems given by V. V. Chepyzhov and M. I. Vishik to the case where the system is not supposed to have a unique solution for each initial state. Further, we apply these theorems to nonautonomous differential inclusions of reaction–diffusion type.  相似文献

In this paper, we apply a new version of the Brézis, Nirenberg, and Stampacchia theorem; we use pseudomonotonicity and some coercivity conditions to establish some existence result for a solution of generalized vector equilibrium problems for multivalued bifunctions. The proper quasiconvexity of multivalued bifunctions is introduced and existence theorems for generalized vector equilibrium problems related to multivalued mappings with the KKM property are obtained. The new results extend and modify various existence theorems for similar problems.  相似文献

Gauss—Seidel type relaxation techniques are applied in the context of strictly convex pure networks with separable cost functions. The algorithm is an extension of the Bertsekas—Tseng approach for solving the linear network problem and its dual as a pair of monotropic programming problems. The method is extended to cover the class of generalized network problems. Alternative internal tactics for the dual problem are examined.
