实验研究了平顶激光光束经微透镜阵列在熔融石英中成丝的演化以及超连续辐射的产生,并进一步与高斯光束的成丝和超连续辐射进行了对比研究.分别对这两种光束的多丝传输进行了横向和纵向成像.结果表明,使用平顶光束可以获得更为均匀的多丝分布,成丝的起点也更为一致;尤其重要的是,相对于高斯光束,平顶光束可以使用更高的入射激光脉冲能量而不会造成介质的损伤,从而可以获得更高脉冲能量和更高转换效率的超连续辐射. 相似文献

利用广义惠更斯-菲涅耳衍射积分法,推导出平顶高斯光束在梯度折射率介质中传输时的解析表达式,对平顶高斯光束在梯度折射率介质中的传输特性进行了分析,讨论了介质梯度折射率系数和光束阶数对传输特性的影响。研究表明,平顶高斯光束在梯度折射率介质中传输时轴上光强分布呈现周期性变化,其周期决定于介质梯度折射率系数,而与光束的阶数无关;轴上峰值处的横向光强分布受梯度折射率系数和光束阶数的影响较大,横向光强的最大值随着梯度折射率系数的增大而增大。 相似文献

The propagation properties of flattened Gaussian beam with a misaligned circular aperture in turbulent atmosphere have been studied by using the extended Huygens-Fresnel formula. From the study and numerical calculation, the effects of aperture parameters on the propagation properties of flattened Gaussian beams in turbulent atmosphere have been illuminated. The results show that angle misalignments and lateral displacements of aperture create unsymmetrical average intensity distribution at any cross section. The intensity distributions are much more sensitive to the lateral displacement than to the angle misalignments. And the propagation properties of different flattened Gaussian beams in turbulent atmosphere are also compared. 相似文献

The propagation properties of flattened Gaussian beam with aperture in turbulent atmosphere have been studied by using the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle. From the study and numerical calculation, the effects of aperture on the propagation of flattened Gaussian beams in turbulent atmosphere have been illuminated. It shows that when the value of the truncation parameter δ is bigger, for example δ?2, the effects of aperture on the propagation properties are too small to be neglected. But when the truncation parameter δ is smaller, for example δ<2, the effects of aperture are complex. The peak value of the average intensity descends more rapidly and the beam spot spreads quicker with aperture than that without aperture when the propagation distance increases. Meanwhile, with the propagation distance increasing, the average intensity profiles of flattened Gaussian beams gradually convert into Gaussian average intensity profiles. In addition, some limiting cases are also discussed. It agrees with the existing results. 相似文献

为分析平顶高斯光束通过光学系统传输时圆孔光阑失调和光学元件失调对平顶高斯光束传输特性的影响,利用失调圆孔光阑的近似展开式和适用于失调光学系统的广义衍射公式,得出了平顶高斯光束经含失调圆孔光阑的失调光学系统传输的近似解析式,给出了输出光束场分布与光束参量、光阑孔径尺寸、光阑和光学元件失调量等的定量关系.针对特定光学系统定量分析了各失调量对输出光束场分布的影响,结果表明各元件失调都对输出光束强度分布产生较大影响.但在各失调量较小的情况下,透镜失调对输出光束传输特性的影响比光阑失调对输出光束传输特性的影响更明显. 相似文献

Starting from the paraxial vectorial theory of beams propagating in uniaxially anisotropic media, the analytical propagation equations of three-dimensional flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) in uniaxial crystals are derived and illustrated numerically. It is shown that, due to the anisotropy of crystals, the ordinary and extraordinary beams originated by incident FGBs propagate with different Rayleigh lengths, thus the linear polarization state and axial symmetry of incident FGBs do not remain during propagation in crystals. 相似文献

This paper studies the method of automatic optimization design of Gaussian beam shaping. Firstly, the principle of Gaussian beam shaping was studied theoretically and the flattened Lorentzian function (FL) is chosen as the distribution of flattened beam. The mapping function of arbitrary ray in incident plane and image plane was deduced based on the law of conservation of energy. And then, according to the characteristics of this system, Zemax programming language (ZPL) was used to compile ZPL macro orders to optimize the Gaussian beam shaping automatically. Finally, optical analyzing software was used to test the aspheric lens system. We generalized the nonparaxial field components of Laguerre-Gaussian and flattened Gaussian beams obtained using the angular spectrum method to include symmetric radial and angular expansions and simplified them using an approximate evaluation of the integral equations for the field components. These field components possess series expressions in orders of a natural expansion parameter, which clarifies the physical interpretation of the series expansion. A connection between Laguerre-Gaussian and flat-top Gaussian profiles is obtained. 相似文献

Based on the generalized diffraction integral formula for treating the propagation of a laser beam through a slightly misaligned optical system in a cylindrical coordinate system, an analytical formula for a Laguerre–Gaussian beam passing through such an optical system is derived. Furthermore, an approximate analytical formula is derived for a Laguerre–Gaussian beam passing through an apertured slightly misaligned optical system by expanding the hard aperture function as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. As an extension of our previous study, the area scintillation aspects of Bessel Gaussian and modified Bessel Gaussian beams
of zeroth order are investigated. The analysis is carried out on the basis of equal source sizes and equal source powers.
It is found that, when compared on equal source size basis, modified Bessel Gaussian beams always have less area scintillations
than a Gaussian beam, while Bessel Gaussian beams exhibit more area scintillations. Comparison on equal source power basis,
however, removes the advantage of modified Bessel Gaussian beams, that is, their area scintillations become nearly the same
as those of the Gaussian beam. On the other hand, for the case of equal source powers, Bessel Gaussian beams with larger width
parameters continue to have higher area scintillations than the Gaussian beam. We provide graphical illustrations for profiles
of equal source size beams, equal source power beams and the curves to aid the selection of equal source power beams. 相似文献

By using the second-order moment of the power density, the beam width, far-field divergence angle and M2 factor of nonparaxial truncated flattened Gaussian (FG) beams are derived analytically. It is shown that the M2 factor of nonparaxial truncated FG beams depends not only on the truncation parameter δ and beam order N, but also on the initial waist-width to wavelength ratio w0/λ. The far-field divergence angle approaches an asymptotic value of θmax=63.435° when the truncation parameter δ → 0. For the special cases of N = 0 and δ → ∞ our results reduce to those of nonparaxial truncated Gaussian beams and nonparaxial untruncated FG beams, respectively. 相似文献

The commonly used periodic patterning for quasi phase-matching plane-waves is theoretically adequate for completely depleting and transferring a fundamental wave to its second harmonic. However, when working with Gaussian beams the conversion efficiency of such a design lacks due to the inherent Gouy phase shift and the spatially varying beam profile, yielding roughly 88?% conversion efficiency. In this paper, we study the possibility of adding a linear chirp and Gouy-phase shift compensation to the periodic poling. We demonstrate that this poling pattern enables us to achieve near-optimal frequency doubling efficiency of up to 97?%. 相似文献

efficiencies are evaluated for a number of horn combinations and the results presented in a straightforward form useful in
the design of submillimetre-wave interferometers and astronomical receiver systems. We show that there is a marked variation

The problem of diffraction of a spherical wave with Gaussian amplitude distribution on two infinitesimally thin and ideally reflecting screens with apertures on an optical axis is solved within the framework of the quasi-optical approximation. It is shown theoretically and experimentally that when a Gaussian beam illuminates such a type of bicomponent diffraction system with small Fresnel numbers in a near zone of the second screen, the effect of diffractive multifocal focusing of radiation is observed. In this case, the diffraction picture from the second screen in the focal planes represents the circular nonlocal bands of the Fresnel zones with a bright narrow peak at the center, whose intensity can exceed by six times the value of the incident wave intensity. The energy efficiency of diffractive focusing of Gaussian beams by the bicomponent diffraction system can be as high as 70%. The diffractive method proposed allows the focusing of wide-aperture beams without using classical refraction elements such as lenses and prisms, and it is applicable to both low-intensity and high-power radiation. 相似文献
