We present an approximate method of calculation of energy spectrum and wave functions of translational motion of a two-level atom in the field of a standing wave at zero value of the quasimomentum. Wave functions in the momentum representation are expressed in terms of confluent hypergeometric functions in case of continuous spectrum and in terms of Hermitian polynomials in case of discrete spectrum. The energy spectrum exhibits infinite compaction at transition from discrete part to continuous, as it is the case for, e.g., Coulombian potential.  相似文献

We obtain two new families of compact solutions for a spherically symmetric distribution of matter consisting of an electrically charged anisotropic fluid sphere joined to the Reissner–Nordstrom static solution through a zero pressure surface. The static inner region also admits a one parameter group of conformal motions. First, to study the effect of the anisotropy in the sense of the pressures of the charged fluid, besides assuming a linear equation of state to hold for the fluid, we consider the tangential pressure p to be proportional to the radial pressure p r , the proportionality factor C measuring the grade of anisotropy. We analyze the resulting charge distribution and the features of the obtained family of solutions. These families of solutions reproduce for the value C=1, the conformal isotropic solution for quark stars, previously obtained by Mak and Harko. The second family of solutions is obtained assuming the electrical charge inside the sphere to be a known function of the radial coordinate. The allowed values of the parameters pertained to these solutions are constrained by the physical conditions imposed. We study the effect of anisotropy in the allowed compactness ratios and in the values of the charge. The Glazer’s pulsation equation for isotropic charged spheres is extended to the case of anisotropic and charged fluid spheres in order to study the behavior of the solutions under linear adiabatic radial oscillations. These solutions could model some stage of the evolution of strange quark matter fluid stars.  相似文献

In this work we study the leptonic-decay processes of a -meson in a field that is a superposition of a crossed field and the field of a plane electromagnetic wave. Expressions for the decay probability are obtained that take into account a non-zero neutrino mass. The dependence of the probabilities on the spin of the created lepton is investigated. The fluid variational theory and effective one-component model have been used to calculate the Hugoniot equation of state (EOS) of fluid He, D2, and He+D2 mixtures with different He:D2 compositions under high pressures and temperatures. An examination of the confidence of above computation is performed by comparing experiment and calculation, in which the similar calculation procedure used for He+D2 is adopted, of He and D2 each, since no experimental data are available to conduct this kind of comparison. Good agreement in both comparisons is found. This fact may be looked as if an indirect positive verification of calculation procedure used here at least in the pressure and temperature domain covered by the experimental data of He and D2 used for comparison, numerically nearly up to 35 GPa and 105K.  相似文献

The linearized form of the metric of a Finsler–Randers space is studied in relation to the equations of motion, the deviation of geodesics and the generalized Raychaudhuri equation are given for a weak gravitational field. This equation is also derived in the framework of a tangent bundle. By using Cartan or Berwald-like connections we get some types “gravito-electromagnetic” curvature. In addition we investigate the conditions under which a definite Lagrangian in a Randers space leads to Einstein field equations under the presence of electromagnetic field. Finally, some applications of the weak field in a generalized Finsler spacetime for gravitational waves are given.  相似文献

The divergences at all levels for the statistical entropy of a plane symmetry black hole arising from the massless Dirac field are considered using the brick-wall model. It is shown that if we ignore the usual contribution from the vacuum surrounding the system, then the statistical entropy consists of two parts: one is the linearly divergent term which has the geometric character, the other consists of two logarithmically divergent terms which are not proportional to the surface area of the horizon. The entropy of the Dirac field on extremal plane symmetry spacetime background has higher divergence than usual.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the nonclassical properties of the electromagnetic field resulting from the interaction of a three-level Λ-type atom with a two-mode field initially in the coherent state, such as squeezing properties and sub-Poisson statistics. This work relates to the famous experiments, performed in 1975 and 1979 by Werner et al., measuring neutron interference and neutron Sagnac effects in the earth’s gravitational field. Employing the method of Stodolsky in its weak field approximation, explicit expressions are derived for the two phase shifts, which turn out to be in agreement with the experiments and with the previously obtained expressions derived from semi-classical arguments: these expressions are simply modified by relativistic correction factors.  相似文献

The interaction between an atomic beam of two-level atoms and a standing wave light field has been studied by the exact solution of a time-dependent quantum system developed recently. When the initial atomic state is choosen to be ground, we find that with the limit of zero detuning the atoms will oscillate between the upper and the lower levels with a decaying amplitude. The most interesting result obtained in this paper is when the initial atomic state is a particular superposition of the two levels, now the system does not oscillate at any time.  相似文献

The equation of state is investigated for a thin superconducting film in a longitudinal magnetic field and with strong spin-orbit interaction at the critical point. As a first step, the state with the maximal value of the magnetic field for a given value of spin–orbit interaction at T = 0 is chosen. This state is investigated in the low-temperature region. We calculate the kaon-interferometry radius parameters for high-energy heavy-ion collisions, assuming a first-order phase transition from a thermalized quark-gluon plasma (QGP) to a gas of hadrons. At high transverse momenta K(T) approximately 1 GeV/c direct emission from the phase boundary becomes important; the emission duration signal, i.e., the R(out)/R(side) ratio, and its sensitivity to T(c) (and thus to the latent heat) are enlarged. The QGP+hadronic rescattering transport model calculations do not yield unusually large radii (R(i) < or = 9 fm). Finite-momentum-resolution effects have a strong impact on the extracted interferometry parameters ( R(i) and lambda), as well as on the ratio R(out)/R(side).  相似文献
