利用飞秒脉冲诱导生成的具有渐变折射率分布的等离子体通道产生空心光束.当飞秒脉冲在非线性介质中传输时将电离产生等离子体通道,该等离子体通道具有渐变的折射率分布,等离子体通道中激光束只能在电子密度低于临界等离子体密度的区域传播,故当探测光束在等离子体通道边缘传输时将偏转形成空心光束.当泵浦光束功率为8mW时,探测光束转变为典型的空心光束结构;当泵浦光束的入射功率、重复率或等离子体通道中轴向电子密度改变时,等离子体通道中可供探测光束通过的区域将随之发生改变,这将导致空心光束中黑斑的面积发生变化.因此通过调节泵浦光束的入射功率和重复率可以控制产生空心光束的黑斑大小.  相似文献

以利用双曲渐减的正常色散渐减光纤(ND-DDF)获得啁啾抛物线脉冲为基础,进一步利用对称分布傅立叶的数值方法,研究了其它色散渐减的ND-DDF获得啁啾抛物线脉冲的情况.数值研究的结果表明:在采用不同的色散渐减时,如线性、指数、高斯、余弦、双曲等,最终输出的脉冲均具有较好的线性啁啾,且基本符合抛物线形状,这说明在利用ND-DDF获得啁啾抛物线脉冲时色散渐减方式可灵活选择;同时结果还显示,色散渐减的方式导致所得脉冲的啁啾强度、以及脉冲宽度和峰值功率会有所差异;文章最后给出了不同情况下抛物线脉冲经啁啾补偿后的输出脉冲形状和压缩因子.  相似文献

Generation and transport of high-current electron beams are investigated in gas-filled diodes with plasma emitters based on arc and glow discharges. A space-charge neutralized beam with a current up to 1 kA was produced in a diode with a plasma emitter based on an arc discharge for an accelerating voltage of 15 kV. The beam is constricted from 8 cm down to 1 cm in diameter by a self-magnetic field and is transported through a distance of over 20 cm with an efficiency of 70%. A beam with a current of 80 A and a current density up to 100 A/cm2 was produced in a glow-discharge diode. The beam was transported through a distance of 30 cm in a weak axial magnetic field with induction B = 0.015 T.  相似文献

The linear and nonlinear theory of the surface wave generation in solid-state plasma by a relativistic electron beam propagating in a gaseous plasma is treated. The proposed scheme is in better agreement with the conditions of real experiment. Besides, the neutralization of beam charge is possible and the oscillation frequency and its stability increase, etc. A nonlinear analysis permits to obtain the estimation of efficiency of the beam interaction with the surface wave and a number of other characteristics of the system.  相似文献

We study the energy scaling of terahertz(THz) emission through difference frequency generation of near-infrared pulses, and demonstrate that Gigawatt few-cycle THz transients at the central frequency of 30 THz are produced from GaSe crystal pumped by two pulses at 1.65 and 1.95 micrometers, with the high quantum yield of 28%.Our analysis indicates that the high yield of DFG originates from the largely reduced group velocity mismatch as the long-wavelength pumping pulses are employed.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of a study on the generation of electron beams at gas pressures ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 Torr. The fact that this range of pressures is attainable with mechanical pumps only has provoked interest in this problem. To generate an electron beam, use is made of a plasma source based on a hollow-cathode discharge in combination with a plane-parallel acceleration gap. In the given range of pressures, the peculiarities of emission and acceleration of electrons are related to the high probability of ionization of the gas in the acceleration gap and to the formation of an ion flow propagating toward the electron beam. This causes a decrease in discharge operating voltage and also an increase in plasma density in the emission region. Two types of breakdown are observed in the acceleration gap: an interelectrode breakdown and a breakdown in the plasma–electrode system. The designed electron source allows one to obtain beams of cylindrical cross section with currents of up to 1 A and energies of up to 10 keV.  相似文献

Gyrotron Electron Beams: Velocity and Energy Spread and Beam Instabilities   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The stability of the electron beams and maximum share of the electrons oscillatory energy, i.e. finally efficiency, power, and pulse duration of the gyrotron to a considerable extent depend on the velocity and the energy spread (VESP) of the HEB. The basic factors determining VESP in the helical beams are discussed. Among these factors static (initial velocities, cathode heterogeneities, space charge fields) and dynamic (negative mass and diochotron instabilities and a global instability connected with the capture of the electrons in the gyrotron adiabatic trap) factors are considered. Qualitative models of the excitation of the space charge oscillation as well the parasite electromagnetic radiation of the HEB are developed. Some experimental data of the investigation of the parasitic electromagnetic radiation spectrum in one gyrotron are discussed. The methods of the experimental investigation of the VESP are described.  相似文献

The propagation of optical signals in optical fiber amplifier is treated with fully quantum mechanics method in this paper. The micro-Hamiltonian of the system with nonlinear effect is derived by combining spatial mode and temporal mode, and propagation equation of optical pulses in a optical fiber amplifier is derived with dispersion relation. The characteristic parameters such as gain, output power and noise figure of the amplifier are analyzed and their quantum mechanics formulas are obtained.  相似文献

In the experiment with an electron energy of ≈500 keV, the long-pulse (~300T, where T is the oscillation period) the generation regime of a relativistic Cherenkov microwave oscillator without a guiding magnetic field at a carrier frequency of 3.8 GHz has been obtained. A high-power microwave radiation pulse length of ~75 ns, a peak generation power of 210 ± 30 MW, and a power conversion efficiency of 9 ± 2% were attained.  相似文献

采用单电子近似和软核势模型, 通过数值求解一维含时薛定谔方程, 理论研究了当脉冲分别带有正、负啁啾的情况下所产生的阿秒脉冲.分析了不同脉冲啁啾特性对阿秒脉冲的强度和宽度的影响. 研究结果表明, 无论是正啁啾还是负啁啾, 随着啁啾量的增加, 都将使激光脉冲由产生单个阿秒脉冲趋向于产生阿秒脉冲链. 正啁啾和负啁啾对于阿秒脉冲宽度的影响是不同的, 负啁啾对于阿秒脉冲宽度影响很小, 适当的负啁啾有利于缩小阿秒脉冲的宽度; 而正啁啾脉冲产生的阿秒脉冲较无啁啾时展宽, 且随着啁啾量的增加, 其阿秒脉冲宽度迅速增大.  相似文献
