In this paper, a new method for comparing fuzzy numbers based on a fuzzy probabilistic preference relation is introduced. The ranking order of fuzzy numbers with the weighted confidence level is derived from the pairwise comparison matrix based on 0.5-transitivity of the fuzzy probabilistic preference relation. The main difference between the proposed method and existing ones is that the comparison result between two fuzzy numbers is expressed as a fuzzy set instead of a crisp one. As such, the ranking order of n fuzzy numbers provides more information on the uncertainty level of the comparison. Illustrated by comparative examples, the proposed method overcomes certain unreasonable (due to the violation of the inequality properties) and indiscriminative problems exhibited by some existing methods. More importantly, the proposed method is able to provide decision makers with the probability of making errors when a crisp ranking order is obtained. The proposed method is also able to provide a probability-based explanation for conflicts among the comparison results provided by some existing methods using a proper ranking order, which ensures that ties of alternatives can be broken. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to develop two extended continuous ordered weighted geometric (COWG) operators, such as the weighted geometric averaging COWG (WG-COWG) and ordered weighted geometric averaging COWG (OWG-COWG) operators. We study some desirable properties of the WG-COWG and OWG-COWG operators, and present their application to multiple attributive group decision making (MAGDM) problems with interval numbers. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is used to verify the developed approaches. 相似文献

The multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem with intuitionistic fuzzy information investigated in this paper is very useful for solving complicated decision problems under uncertain circumstances. Since experts have their own characteristics, they are familiar with some of the attributes, but not others, the weights of the decision makers to different attributes should be different. We derive the weights of the decision makers by aggregating the individual intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrices into a collective intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrix. The expert has a big weight if his evaluation value is close to the mean value and has a small weight if his evaluation value is far from the mean value. For the incomplete attribute weight information, we establish some optimization models to determine the attribute weights. Furthermore, we develop several algorithms for ranking alternatives under different situations, and then extend the developed models and algorithms to the MAGDM problem with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information. Numerical results finally illustrate the practicality and efficiency of our new algorithms. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to develop a new methodology for solving fuzzy multi-attribute group decision making problems with non-homogeneous information, including multi-granular linguistic term sets, fuzzy numbers, interval values and real numbers. In this methodology, different distances are defined to measure differences between alternatives and the ideal solution as well as the negative ideal solution. A relative closeness method is developed by introducing the multi-attribute ranking index based on the particular measure of closeness to the IS. The proposed method determines a compromise solution for the group, providing a maximum “group utility” for the “majority” and a minimum of an individual regret for the “opponent”. The implementation process, effectiveness and feasibility of the method proposed in this paper are illustrated with a real example of the missile weapon system design project selection. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the group decision making problems in which all the information provided by the decision-makers is presented as interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrices where each of the elements is characterized by interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy number (IVIFN), and the information about attribute weights is partially known. First, we use the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid geometric (IIFHG) operator to aggregate all individual interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrices provided by the decision-makers into the collective interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrix, and then we use the score function to calculate the score of each attribute value and construct the score matrix of the collective interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrix. From the score matrix and the given attribute weight information, we establish an optimization model to determine the weights of attributes, and then we use the obtained attribute weights and the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted geometric (IIFWG) operator to fuse the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information in the collective interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision matrix to get the overall interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values of alternatives, and then rank the alternatives according to the correlation coefficients between IVIFNs and select the most desirable one(s). Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the applicability of the proposed approach. 相似文献

A dual hesitant fuzzy set (DHFS) consists of two parts, that is, the membership hesitancy function and the nonmembership hesitancy function, supporting a more exemplary and flexible access to assign values for each element in the domain, and can handle two kinds of hesitancy in this situation. It can be considered as a powerful tool to express uncertain information in the process of group decision making. Therefore, we propose a correlation coefficient between DHFSs as a new extension of existing correlation coefficients for hesitant fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and apply it to multiple attribute decision making under dual hesitant fuzzy environments. Through the weighted correlation coefficient between each alternative and the ideal alternative, the ranking order of all alternatives can be determined and the best alternative can be easily identified as well. Finally, a practical example of investment alternatives is given to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the developed approach. 相似文献

The theory of interval type-2 fuzzy sets provides an intuitive and computationally feasible way of addressing uncertain and ambiguous information in decision-making fields. The aim of this paper is to develop an interactive method for handling multiple criteria group decision-making problems, in which information about criterion weights is incompletely (imprecisely or partially) known and the criterion values are expressed as interval type-2 trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. With respect to the relative importance of multiple decision-makers and group consensus of fuzzy opinions, a hybrid averaging approach combining weighted averages and ordered weighted averages was employed to construct the collective decision matrix. An integrated programming model was then established based on the concept of signed distance-based closeness coefficients to determine the importance weights of criteria and the priority ranking of alternatives. Subsequently, an interactive procedure was proposed to modify the model according to the decision-makers’ feedback on the degree of satisfaction toward undesirable solution results for the sake of gradually improving the integrated model. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed methods are illustrated with a medical decision-making problem of patient-centered medicine concerning basilar artery occlusion. A comparative analysis with other approaches was performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the triangular fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem in which the attributes and experts are in different priority level. Motivated by the ideal of prioritized aggregation operators (R.R. Yager, Prioritized aggregation operators, International Journal of Approximate Reasoning 48 (2008) 263–274.), we develop some prioritized aggregation operators for aggregating triangular fuzzy information, and then apply them to develop some models for triangular fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which the attributes and experts are in different priority level. Finally, a practical example about talent introduction is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness. 相似文献

In this paper we present an approach and interactive procedure for group decision making under imprecision of expert judgements as applied to problems containing explicitly given resource constraints in particular to project selection. Alternatives (projects) are evaluated in a scale with a finite number of levels. Based on these estimates, fuzzy group preferences are determined and projects are divided into domination levels. Necessary quantities of resources are given in the form of intervals. Projects from successive levels are selected until maximum resource utilization is achieved. A numerical example is included to illustrate the proposed approach and procedure. 相似文献

The aim of this study is to develop new linguistic aggregation operators based on the power-average (PA) operator, such as the linguistic power average (LPA) operator, the linguistic weighted PA operator, and the LPOWA operator. We studied some desired properties of the developed operators, such as idempotency and commutativity. Moreover, we developed two approaches to deal with group decision-making problems under linguistic environments. If the weighting vector of the decision makers was known, we developed an approach based on the linguistic weighted PA operator. On the other hand, if the weighting vector of the decision maker was unknown, we developed a different approach based on the LPOWA operator. We also developed new uncertain linguistic operators under uncertain linguistic environments, such as the ULPA operator, the uncertain linguistic weighted PA operator, and the ULPOWA operator. We extended these approaches, which are based on ULWPA and ULPOWA operators, respectively, to solve group decision-making problems under an uncertain linguistic environment. Finally, a practical example is provided to illustrate the multiple-attribute group decision-making process. 相似文献

We investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems with triangular fuzzy information. Motivated by the ideal of Choquet integral [G. Choquet, Theory of capacities, Ann. Instit. Fourier 5 (1953) 131–295] and generalized OWA operator [R.R. Yager, Generalized OWA aggregation operators, Fuzzy Optim. Dec. Making 3 (2004) 93–107], in this paper, we have developed an generalized triangular fuzzy correlated averaging (GTFCA) operator. The prominent characteristic of the operators is that they cannot only consider the importance of the elements or their ordered positions, but also reflect the correlation among the elements or their ordered positions. We have applied the GTFCA operator to multiple attribute decision making problems with triangular fuzzy information. Finally an illustrative example has been given to show the developed method. 相似文献

This paper considers a construction project problem under multiple criteria in a fuzzy environment and proposes a new two-phase group decision making (GDM) approach. This approach integrates a modified analytic network process (ANP) and an improved compromise ranking method, known as VIKOR. To take uncertainty and risk into account, a new decision making approach is presented with multiple fuzzy information by a group of experts, and a risk attitude for each expert is incorporated that can be expressed linguistically. First, a modified fuzzy ANP method is introduced to address the problem of dependence as well as feedback among conflicting criteria and to determine their relative importance. Then, a fuzzy VIKOR method is extended to rank potential projects on the basis of their overall performance. An illustrative example from the literature is provided for the construction project problem to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach. The computational results show that the proposed two-phase GDM approach is suitable to cope with imprecision and subjectivity for the complicated decision making problem. Finally, the associated results of the proposed approach with risk attitudes and without risk attitudes are compared with the results reported by Cheng and Li [1], and the merits are highlighted. 相似文献

Trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TrIFNs) is a special intuitionistic fuzzy set on a real number set. TrIFNs are useful to deal with ill-known quantities in decision data and decision making problems themselves. The focus of this paper is on multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which the attribute values are expressed with TrIFNs, which are solved by developing a new decision method based on power average operators of TrIFNs. The new operation laws for TrIFNs are given. From a viewpoint of Hausdorff metric, the Hamming and Euclidean distances between TrIFNs are defined. Hereby the power average operator of real numbers is extended to four kinds of power average operators of TrIFNs, involving the power average operator of TrIFNs, the weighted power average operator of TrIFNs, the power ordered weighted average operator of TrIFNs, and the power hybrid average operator of TrIFNs. In the proposed group decision method, the individual overall evaluation values of alternatives are generated by using the power average operator of TrIFNs. Applying the hybrid average operator of TrIFNs, the individual overall evaluation values of alternatives are then integrated into the collective ones, which are used to rank the alternatives. The example analysis shows the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to develop a new fuzzy closeness (FC) methodology for multi-attribute decision making (MADM) in fuzzy
environments, which is an important research field in decision science and operations research. The TOPSIS method based on
an aggregating function representing “closeness to the ideal solution” is one of the well-known MADM methods. However, while
the highest ranked alternative by the TOPSIS method is the best in terms of its ranking index, this does not mean that it
is always the closest to the ideal solution. Furthermore, the TOPSIS method presumes crisp data while fuzziness is inherent
in decision data and decision making processes, so that fuzzy ratings using linguistic variables are better suited for assessing
decision alternatives. In this paper, a new FC method for MADM under fuzzy environments is developed by introducing a multi-attribute
ranking index based on the particular measure of closeness to the ideal solution, which is developed from the fuzzy weighted
Minkowski distance used as an aggregating function in a compromise programming method. The FC method of compromise ranking
determines a compromise solution, providing a maximum “group utility” for the “majority” and a minimum individual regret for
the “opponent”. A real example of a personnel selection problem is examined to demonstrate the implementation process of the
method proposed in this paper. 相似文献

In this paper a multi-criteria group decision making model is presented in which there is a heterogeneity among the decision makers due to their different expertise and/or their different level of political control. The relative importance of the decision makers in the group is handled in a soft manner using fuzzy relations. We suppose that each decision maker has his/her preferred solution, obtained by applying any of the techniques of distance-based multi-objective programming [compromise, goal programming (GP), goal programming with fuzzy hierarchy, etc.]. These solutions are used as aspiration levels in a group GP model in which the differences between the unwanted deviations are interpreted in terms of the degree of achievement of the relative importance amongst the group members. In this way, a group GP model with fuzzy hierarchy (Group-GPFH) is constructed. The solution for this model is proposed as a collective decision. To show the applicability of our proposal, a regional forest planning problem is addressed. The objective is to determine tree species composition in order to improve the values achieved by Pan-European indicators for sustainable forest management. This problem involves stakeholders with competing interests and different preference schemes for the aforementioned indicators. The application of our proposal to this problem allows us to be able to comfortably address all these issues. The results obtained are consistent with the preferences of each stakeholder and their hierarchy within the group. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new operator called the continuous interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (C-IVIFOWA) operator for aggregating the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values. It combines the intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (IFOWA) operator and the continuous ordered weighted averaging (C-OWA) operator by a controlling parameter, which can be employed to diminish fuzziness and improve the accuracy of decision making. We further apply the C-IVIFOWA operator to the aggregation of multiple interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values and obtain a wide range of aggregation operators including the weighted C-IVIFOWA (WC-IVIFOWA) operator, the ordered weighted (OWC-IVIFOWA) operator and the combined C-IVIFOWA (CC-IVIFOWA) operator. Some desirable properties of these operators are investigated. And finally, we give a numerical example to illustrate the applications of these operators to group decision making under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment. 相似文献

In this paper, we present the uncertain probabilistic ordered weighted averaging distance (UPOWAD) operator. Its main advantage is that it uses distance measures in a unified framework between the probability and the OWA operator that considers the degree of importance of each concept in the aggregation. Moreover, it is able to deal with uncertain environments represented in the form of interval numbers. We study some of its main properties and particular cases such as the uncertain probabilistic distance (UPD) and the uncertain OWA distance (UOWAD) operator. We end the paper by presenting an application to a group decision making problem regarding the selection of robots. 相似文献
