This article studies a delayed singular prey–predator economic model with stochastic fluctuations, which is described by differential‐algebraic equations due to a economic theory. Local stability and Hopf bifurcation condition are described on the delayed singular prey–predator economic model within deterministic environment. It reveals the sensitivity of the model dynamics on gestation time delay. A phenomenon of Hopf bifurcation occurs as the gestation time delay increases through a certain threshold. Subsequently, a singular stochastic prey–predator economic model with time delay is obtained by introducing Gaussian white noise terms to the above deterministic model system. The fluctuation intensity of population and harvest effort are calculated by Fourier transforms method. Numerical simulations are carried out to substantiate these theory analysis. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 19: 23–29, 2014  相似文献

A differential-algebraic model system which considers a prey-predator system with stage structure for prey and harvest effort on predator is proposed. By using the differential-algebraic system theory and bifurcation theory, dynamic behavior of the proposed model system with and without discrete time delay is investigated. Local stability analysis of the model system without discrete time delay reveals that there is a phenomenon of singularity induced bifurcation due to variation of the economic interest of harvesting, and a state feedback controller is designed to stabilize the proposed model system at the interior equilibrium; Furthermore, local stability of the model system with discrete time delay is studied. It reveals that the discrete time delay has a destabilizing effect in the population dynamics, and a phenomenon of Hopf bifurcation occurs as the discrete time delay increases through a certain threshold. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to show the consistency with theoretical analysis obtained in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability and Hopf bifurcation of a delayed viral infection model with logistic growth and saturated immune impairment is studied. It is shown that there exist 3 equilibria. The sufficient conditions for local asymptotic stability of the infection‐free equilibrium and no‐immune equilibrium are given. We also discussed the local stability of positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Moreover, the direction and stability of Hopf bifurcation is obtained by using standard form theory and the center manifold theorem. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

This paper studies the Neimark–Sacker bifurcation of a diffusive food‐limited model with a finite delay and Dirichlet boundary condition by the backward Euler difference scheme, Crank‐Nicolson difference scheme, and nonstandard finite‐difference scheme. The existence of Neimark‐Sacker bifurcation at the equilibrium is obtained. Our results show that Crank‐Nicolson and nonstandard finite‐difference schemes are superior to the backward Euler difference scheme under the means of describing approximately the dynamics of the original system. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the analytical results. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, an age‐structured population model with the form of neutral functional differential equation is studied. We discuss the stability of the positive equilibrium by analyzing the characteristic equation. Local Hopf bifurcation results are also obtained by choosing the mature delay as bifurcation parameter. On the center manifold, the normal form of the Hopf bifurcation is derived, and explicit formulae for determining the criticality of bifurcation are theoretically given. Moreover, the global continuation of Hopf bifurcating periodic solutions is investigated by using the global Hopf bifurcation theory of neutral equations. Finally, some numerical examples are carried out to support the main results.  相似文献

Both discrete and distributed delays are considered in a two‐neuron system. We analyze the influence of interaction coefficient and time delay on the Hopf‐pitchfork bifurcation. First, we obtain the codimension‐2 unfolding with original parameters for Hopf‐pitchfork bifurcation by using the center manifold reduction and the normal form method. Next, through analyzing the unfolding structure, we give complete bifurcation diagrams and phase portraits, in which multistability and other dynamical behaviors of the original system are found, such as a stable periodic orbit, the coexistence of two stable nontrivial equilibria, and the coexistence of a stable periodic orbit and two stable equilibria. In addition, the obtained theoretical results are verified by numerical simulations. Finally, we perform the comparisons of the obtained results of Hopf‐pitchfork bifurcation with other Hopf‐fold bifurcation results in some biological neural systems and give the obtained mathematical results corresponding to the physical states of neurons. Assuming that the prey refuge is proportional to the prey density if its population size is below a critical threshold, or constant if its size is above the threshold, this paper proposes, and qualitatively analyzes, a Leslie–Gower predator–prey model assuming alternative feeding and harvesting in predators, and a Holling II function as the predator functional response. From the results of the mathematical analysis to the predator–prey models with proportional or constant prey refuge, the proposed model retains the same bifurcation cases obtained for each model analyzed. However, appropriate alterations of the parameters representing the critical threshold of prey population size and harvest in predators allows the formation of at least one limit cycle, stable or unstable, that lives in both vector fields of the proposed model.  相似文献

The ratio-dependent predator–prey model exhibits rich dynamics due to the singularity of the origin. Harvesting in a ratio-dependent predator–prey model is relatively an important research project from both ecological and mathematical points of view. In this paper, we study the temporal, spatial and spatiotemporal dynamics of a ratio-dependent predator–prey diffusive model where the predator population harvest at catch-per-unit-effort hypothesis. For the spatially homogeneous model, we derive conditions for determining the direction of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solution by the center manifold and the normal form theory. For the reaction–diffusion model, firstly it is shown that Turing (diffusion-driven) instability occurs, which induces spatial inhomogeneous patterns. Then it is demonstrated that the model exhibit Hopf bifurcation which produces temporal inhomogeneous patterns. Finally, the existence and non-existence of positive non-constant steady-state solutions are established. Moreover, numerical simulations are performed to visualize the complex dynamic behavior.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the analytical and numerical study of stationary solutions of the one‐dimensional Phase Field Crystal Equation. This new model recently introduced by K. Elder and M. Grant describes phase transformations at the atomic level on large time scales. By using bifurcation methods, we investigate the quantitative and qualitative properties of these solutions: multiplicity, stability, and periodicity. Quite unusual bifurcation diagrams are obtained by numerical simulations. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a predator–prey model with herd behavior and prey‐taxis subject to the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. First, by analyzing the characteristic equation, the local stability of the positive equilibrium is discussed. Then, choosing prey‐tactic sensitivity coefficient as the bifurcation parameter, we obtain a branch of nonconstant solutions bifurcating from the positive equilibrium by an abstract bifurcation theory, and find the stable bifurcating solutions near the bifurcation point under suitable conditions. We have shown that prey‐taxis can destabilize the uniform equilibrium and yields the occurrence of spatial patterns. Furthermore, some numerical simulations to illustrate the theoretical analysis are also carried out, Turing patterns such as spots pattern, spots–strip pattern, strip pattern, stable nonconstant steady‐state solutions, and spatially inhomogeneous periodic solutions are obtained, which also expand our theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, stability and bifurcation of a two‐dimensional ratio‐dependence predator–prey model has been studied in the close first quadrant . It is proved that the model undergoes a period‐doubling bifurcation in a small neighborhood of a boundary equilibrium and moreover, Neimark–Sacker bifurcation occurs at a unique positive equilibrium. We study the Neimark–Sacker bifurcation at unique positive equilibrium by choosing b as a bifurcation parameter. Some numerical simulations are presented to illustrate theocratical results. Abstract Fisheries managers normally make decisions based on stock abundance estimates subject to process, observation, and model uncertainties. Considerable effort is invested in gathering information about stock size to decrease these uncertainties. However, few studies have evaluated benefits from collecting such information in terms of yield and stability of annual harvest. Here, we develop a strategic age‐structured population model for a long‐lived fish with stochastic recruitment, resembling the Norwegian spring‐spawning herring (NSSH, Clupea harengus L.). We evaluate how uncertainties in population estimates influence annual yield, spawning stock biomass (SSB), and variation in annual harvest, using both the proportional threshold harvesting (PTH) and the current harvest control rule for NSSH as harvest strategies. Results show that the consequences of a biased estimate are sensitive to the harvest strategy employed. If the harvest strategy is suitably chosen, the benefits of accurate information are low, and less information about the stock is necessary to maintain high average yield. Reduced harvest intensity effectively removes the need for accurate stock estimates. PTH (a variant of the constant escapement strategy) with low harvest ratio and the current NSSH harvest control rule both provide remarkable stability in yield and SSB. However, decreased uncertainty will often decrease year‐to‐year variation in harvest and the frequency of fishing moratoria.  相似文献

A nonlinear stochastic dynamical model on a typical HAB algae diatom and dianoflagellate densities was created and presented in this paper. Simplifying the model through a stochastic averaging method, we obtained a two-dimensional diffusion process of averaged amplitude and phase. The singular boundary theory of diffusion process and the invariant measure theory were applied in analyzing the bifurcation of stability and the Hopf bifurcation of the stochastic system. The critical value of the stochastic Hopf bifurcation parameter was obtained and the conclusion that the position of Hopf bifurcation drifting with the parameter increase is presented as a result.  相似文献

Functional response of the Holling type II is incorporated into a predator–prey model with predators using hawk‐dove tactics to consider combination effects of nonlinear functional response and individual tactics. By mathematical analysis, it is shown that the model undergoes a sequence of bifurcations including saddle‐node bifurcation, supercritical Hopf bifurcation and homoclinic bifurcation. New phenomena are found that include the bistable coexistence of prey and predators in the form of a stable limit cycle and a stable positive equilibrium, the bistable coexistence of prey and predators in a large stable limit cycle that encloses three positive equilibria and a stable positive equilibrium within the cycle, and the bistable coexistence of two stable limit cycles.  相似文献

We investigate the qualitative behavior of a host‐parasitoid model with a strong Allee effect on the host. More precisely, we discuss the boundedness, existence and uniqueness of positive equilibrium, local asymptotic stability of positive equilibrium and existence of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation for the given system by using bifurcation theory. In order to control Neimark–Sacker bifurcation, we apply pole‐placement technique that is a modification of OGY method. Moreover, the hybrid control methodology is implemented in order to control Neimark–Sacker bifurcation. Numerical simulations are provided to illustrate theoretical discussion. In this paper, a stock‐effort dynamical model with two fishing zones is discussed. The nonlinear harvesting function is assumed depending upon stock size as well as fishing effort. The migration of fish is considered between two zones. The harvesting vessels also move between zones to increase their revenue. The movements of fish and fishing vessels between zones are assumed to take place at a faster time scale as compared with processes involving growth and harvesting occurring at a slow time scale. The aggregated model is obtained for total fish stock and fishing effort. This aggregated (reduced) model is analyzed analytically as well as numerically. Biological and bionomic equilibria of the system are obtained, and criteria for local stability or instability of the system are derived. The impact of levels of taxation T on the fish population and on the revenue earned by the fishery is investigated. An optimal harvesting policy is also discussed using the Pontryagin's maximum principle. The aggregated model also exhibits Hopf and transcritical bifurcation with respect to the bifurcation parameter tax T. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the results.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate obtained by the forward Euler method is investigated. The conditions for existence of codimension-1 bifurcations (fold bifurcation, flip bifurcation and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation) are derived by using the center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory. Furthermore, the condition for the occurrence of codimension-2 bifurcation (fold-flip bifurcation) is presented. In order to eliminate the chaos or Neimark-Sacker bifurcation of the discrete epidemic model, a tracking controller is designed. The number of the infectives tends to zero when the number of iterations is gradually increasing, that is, the disease disappears gradually. Finally, numerical simulations not only illustrate the validity of the proposed results, but also display the interesting and complex dynamical behaviors.  相似文献

This paper investigates a discrete-time epidemic model by qualitative analysis and numerical simulation. It is verified that there are phenomena of the transcritical bifurcation, flip bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation types and chaos. Also the largest Lyapunov exponents are numerically computed to confirm further the complexity of these dynamic behaviors. The obtained results show that discrete epidemic model can have rich dynamical behavior.  相似文献

In this paper, we concentrate on the spatiotemporal patterns of a delayed reaction‐diffusion Holling‐Tanner model with Neumann boundary conditions. In particular, the time delay that is incorporated in the negative feedback of the predator density is considered as one of the principal factors to affect the dynamic behavior. Firstly, a global Turing bifurcation theorem for τ = 0 and a local Turing bifurcation theorem for τ > 0 are given. Then, further considering the degenerated situation, we derive the existence of Bogdanov‐Takens bifurcation and Turing‐Hopf bifurcation. The normal form method is used to study the explicit dynamics near the Turing‐Hopf singularity. It is shown that a pair of stable nonconstant steady states (stripe patterns) and a pair of stable spatially inhomogeneous periodic solutions (spot patterns) could be bifurcated from a positive equilibrium. Moreover, the Turing‐Turing‐Hopf–type spatiotemporal patterns, that is, a subharmonic phenomenon with two spatial wave numbers and one temporal frequency, are also found and explained theoretically. Our results imply that the interaction of Turing and Hopf instabilities can be considered as the simplest mechanism for the appearance of complex spatiotemporal dynamics.  相似文献
