Low-temperature specific heat in a dichalcogenide superconductor 2H-NbSe2 is measured in various magnetic fields. It is found that the specific heat can be described very well by a simple model concerning two components corresponding to vortex normal core and ambient superconducting region, separately. For calculating the specific heat outside the vortex core region, we use the Bardeen-Cooper Schrieffer (BCS) formalism under the assumption of a narrow distribution of the superconducting gaps. The field-dependent vortex core size in the mixed state of 2H-NbSe2, determined by using this model, can explain the nonlinear field dependence of specific heat coefficient γ(H), which is in good agreement with the previous experimental results and more formal calculations. With the high-temperature specific heat data, we can find that, in the multi-band superconductor 2H-NbSe2, the recovered density of states (or Fermi surface) below Tc under a magnetic field seems not to be gapped again by the charge density wave (CDW) gap, which suggests that the superconducting gap and the CDW gap may open on different Fermi surface sheets.  相似文献

In this paper the fabrication technique of amorphous SnO 2:(Zn,In) film is presented.The transmittance and gap-states distribution of the film are given.The experimental results of gap-states distribution are compared with the calculated results by using the facts of short range order and lattice vacancy defect of the gap states theory.The distribution of gap state has been proved to be discontinuous due to the short-range order of amorphous structure.  相似文献

Spark discharges in a preionized gas gap were studied. Preionization was produced by breaking down the spark gap directly before the main discharge, which was used to ignite fuel gas mixtures. The resulting experimental and computed data are compared with theoretical data and with results obtained in an investigation of spark discharge parameters.It is shown that, as in the case of self-breakdown, the volume energy density in discharges in a preionized gas remains constant in order of magnitude (1019 eV/cm3).The studies were carried out in order to obtain certain spark characteristics for the purpose of increasing the thermal efficiency of discharges in igniting fuel mixtures.The authors are grateful to Doctor of Engineering Sciences Professor I. In this paper, a novel excitation method named as sequential discharge is realized in a two-module TEA CO2 laser by using a special rotating spark gap. It is demonstrated that the repetition rate and the output power of a laser can be multiplied through this method. For the two-module TEA CO2 laser in the experiment, the repetition rate is 300 Hz and the average power is 356 W when each module discharges; the repetition rate is 600 Hz and the average power is 713 W when the two modules discharge sequentially.  相似文献

A two-pulse method is used to determine how fast and to what degree a small spark gap can recover its voltage holdoff capability after breaking down. The first pulse is used to overvolt and break down the gap. The second pulse is used, after a time delay, to determine the voltage recovery of the gap. By varying the time delay to the second pulse, a recovery voltage versus time plot can be obtained. Time delays from 10 ?s to 100 ms have been recorded. The spark gap discharges millijoules of energy with a gap spacing of less than 1 mm. Recovery has been measured at breakdown voltages of up to 10 kV in argon, hydrogen, and a mixture of the 2 gases. The experimental setup, pulse circuits, and data collection methods are described. Percent voltage recovery versus time plots for various parameters (gas species, gap spacing, and pressure) are discussed.  相似文献

The development of atmospheric lightning is initiated and sustained by the formation in virgin air of ‘streamer corona’ and ‘leader’ discharges, very similar to those observed in laboratory long sparks. Therefore, the experimental and theoretical investigations of these laboratory discharges have become of large interest to improve the physical knowledge of the lightning process and to develop self-consistent models that could be applied to new protection concepts.In the present paper the fundamental processes of the subsequent phases of long air gap discharges are analyzed, from the first corona inception and development to the leader channel formation and propagation. For all these processes simulations models are discussed that have been essentially derived and simplified by the authors, in order to develop sequential time-dependent simulation of the laboratory breakdown, with both positive and negative voltages. The possibility of extending these models to the case of natural lightning is discussed in the companion paper, presented in this same volume. To cite this article: I. Gallimberti et al., C. R. It is observed that doping suppresses the long range anti-ferromagnetic order and induces superconducting phase for a suitable doping. In order to study this effect, we present a model study of the doping dependence of the tunneling conductance in high-Tc systems. The system is described by the Hamiltonian consisting of spin density wave (SDW) and s-wave type superconducting interaction in presence of varying impurity concentrations. The gap equations are calculated by using Green’s functions technique of Zubarev. The gap equations and the chemical potential are solved self-consistently. The imaginary part of the electron Green’s functions shows the quasi-particle density of states which represent the tunneling conductance observed by the scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). We investigate the effect of impurity on the gap equations as well as on the tunneling conductance. The results will be discussed based on the experimental observations.  相似文献

The paper presents investigations of current–voltage and light emission characteristics of electrospraying of various liquids in atmospheric air. The spectroscopic measurements have shown that the onset of corona discharge coincides with the onset of electrospraying, with the voltage increasing. The emission intensity in selected spectral lines during electrospraying depends on spraying mode, discharge power and a kind of liquid. In the specific experimental conditions in air, mainly the N2 second positive system, which is visible as violet faint light, has been recorded. The emission intensity of other gaseous species, which could be product of electrosprayed molecules decomposition or dissociation, was at very low level for the voltages applied, i.e., for glow or onset streamer discharges. From the measured light emission spectra of discharges from capillary nozzle and liquid jet, the dependence of the amplitude of selected spectral lines on capillary-nozzle voltage has been determined and it was found that this relation can be approximated by a third-degree polynomial function. This approximation has been supported by theoretical considerations. The presented results support the hypothesis that faint electrical discharges (glow, onset streamers) usually occur during and are inherent to electrospraying.  相似文献

利用上升沿约0.5 s、半高宽约6 s、幅值可达40 kV的微秒脉冲电源和上升沿约150 ns、半高宽约300 ns、幅值可达50 kV的纳秒脉冲电源激励大气压弥散放电,并分别采用刀型和锯齿电极放电。通过电压电流测量和发光图像拍摄,改变施加电压种类、脉冲重复频率、高压电极结构和气隙距离等参数,研究了不同条件下弥散放电特性。实验结果表明:纳秒脉冲电源和微秒脉冲电源均能在大气压空气中激励大面积的弥散放电,弥散放电面积最大达90 cm2;放电的均匀性受脉冲参数与电极形状影响显著,其中刀型电极条件下纳秒脉冲激励的弥散放电均匀性最佳;相同条件下纳秒脉冲弥散放电的瞬时功率大于微秒脉冲弥散放电,最高可达275 kW,而纳秒脉冲弥散放电的能量小于微秒脉冲弥散放电;保持其他条件不变,弥散放电传导电流幅值随着气隙距离的增加而降低,放电强度随着脉冲重复频率的增加而增强,弥散放电的工作电压范围随着脉冲重复频率的增加显著降低。因此在低频、刀型电极结构中易于获得均匀与较大工作电压范围的大气压弥散放电。  相似文献

First-principles calculations have been used to investigate the structural, electronic and elastic properties of the filled skutterudite CeRu4P12, using the full-potential linear muffin-tin orbital (FP-LMTO) method. The exchange-correlation energy is described in the local spin density approximation (LSDA) using the Perdew–Wang parameterization. The results of the electronic properties show that this compound is an indirect band gap material. A special interest has been made to the determination of the elastic constants since there have been no available experimental and theoretical data. The energy band gaps and their volume and pressure dependence are investigated. Our results of the ground-state electronic properties are found to agree with experimental results.  相似文献

If a permanent magnet has both a homogeneous polarization inside the material and a linear demagnetization characteristic in external fields, its magnetic field can be expressed using a surface pole model. For magnets satisfying these conditions and, in addition, having a rectangular shape, the fields at any given point in space can be calculated analytically. An algorithm for this calculation is presented in a form that can easily be implemented into a computer program. In our experiments we used Nd2Fe14B magnets to support low pressure glow discharges by magnetic fields. The magnets can be seen as composed of elementary magnets with rectangular shape, for which the magnetic field distribution is calculable. We present results of field calculations for various configurations of permanent magnets that we used in hollow cathode and Penning discharges.  相似文献

The electronic structures, dielectric functions and absorption coefficient of both perfect CdWO4 crystal (CWO) and the CWO crystal containing oxygen vacancy (CWO: V O) have been studied using the CASTEP code with the lattice structure optimized. The calculated total density of states (TDOS) of CWO: V O indicates that the oxygen vacancy would introduce a new electronic state within the band gap compared with that of perfect CWO. The dielectric functions are calculated since the imaginary part of the dielectric function can reduce the optical absorption of a certain crystal, and then the absorption coefficient is calculated. The calculated absorption spectra show that CWO: V O exhibits two absorption bands in the ultraviolet and visible region, peaking at about 3.0 eV (413 nm) and 3.5 eV (354 nm), respectively, which are in agreement with the experimental results showing that the yellow CWO has two optical absorption bands in this region peaking at around 350 nm and 400 nm respectively. It can be concluded that oxygen vacancy causes these two absorption bands. The calculations also indicate that the optical properties of CWO exhibit anisotropy, and can be explained by the anisotropy of the crystal lattice.  相似文献

For a wide class of technologically relevant compound III?CV and II?CVI semiconductor materials AC and BC mixed crystals (alloys) of the type A x B1?x C can be realized. As the electronic properties like the bulk band gap vary continuously with x, any band gap in between that of the pure AC and BC systems can be obtained by choosing the appropriate concentration x, granted that the respective ratio is miscible and thermodynamically stable. In most cases the band gap does not vary linearly with x, but a pronounced bowing behavior as a function of the concentration is observed. In this paper we show that the electronic properties of such A x B1?x C semiconductors and, in particular, the band gap bowing can well be described and understood starting from empirical tight-binding models for the pure AC and BC systems. The electronic properties of the A x B1?x C system can be described by choosing the tight-binding parameters of the AC or BC system with probabilities x and 1 ? x, respectively. We demonstrate this by exact diagonalization of finite but large supercells and by means of calculations within the established coherent potential approximation (CPA) We apply this treatment to the II?CVI system Cd x Zn1?x Se, to the III?CV system In x Ga1?x As and to the III-nitride system Ga x Al1?x N.  相似文献

The M‐effect (monochromatization‐effect) is a powerful process which can give high intensity monochromatic spectra with a certain wavelength depending on the type of used gas mixtures to generate the plasma state. The effect consists in the emission of a single spectral line emerging from plasma under specific experimental conditions involving one electropositive gas and one electronegative gas mixture. For example, in the case of Ne‐H2 mixture, a clear monochrome radiation was obtained, corresponding to the λNe =585.3 nm wavelength at 2p1‐1s2 transition in the Paschen notation, the pressures ranging between 10‐100 torr. In this paper we prove the general character of this effect, i.e. if the optical emission spectra (OES) reduced to selective lines can be noticed also in other multiple gas mixture discharges. The Ne‐Ar‐Xe mixture discharges with different percentages of H2 as electronegative gas added in has been investigated. The triple M‐effect, means three specific monochromatic lines, could be revealed in the OES at 50% of H2 addition in Ne‐Ar‐Xe mixture (© 2010 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

为了研究缩比实验在气体放电中的有效性, 对缩比间隙中的低气压氩气放电进行了数值模拟. 根据气体放电相似性的猜想, 如果间隙气压p和间隙距离d的乘积为常量, 即p1d1=p2d2, 并且约化电场E/p 在两个间隙中的空间分布相同, 那么这两个放电间隙的放电特性存在相似性. 数值模拟中设置三个缩比间隙: 气隙A的长度为30 mm, 气压为1 Torr (1 Torr=133.322 Pa); 气隙B的长度为15 mm, 气压为2 Torr; 气隙C的长度为10 mm, 气压为3 Torr. 仿真结果表明, 三个间隙均为辉光放电, 并存在明显的阴极位降区. 间隙A, B, C 的阴极位降区的厚度dC分别为2.71, 1.35和0.87 mm, 相对应的pd值几乎相同, 即pdC≈2.70 Torr·mm. 这与氩气辉光放电Paschen曲线最低点(pd≈2.86 Torr·mm)相近. 缩比间隙的放电参数的特性(如工作电压、电场、电流密度、电子密度和离子密度的沿“空间”px的分布)的数值计算结果与放电相似性猜想所预计的结果一致. 所以, 可以认为放电相似性猜想适用于低气压氩气缩比间隙的辉光放电. 关键词: 放电相似性 辉光放电 缩比间隙  相似文献

Studies of nonsustained disruptive discharges (NSDDs), isolated cases of which can occur in vacuum interrupters, indicate lateral discharges between the cathode and shield, which can initiate a brief discharge between the contacts. To facilitate the study of such discharges, the sample discharges were triggered by a surface discharge induced by a spark gap, built into the side of the cathode, and observed with a high-speed film camera and image-converter camera. The tests showed a cathode spot after igniting. The emitted electrons first charge the shield negatively and then are directed toward the anode. The discharge burns at a high voltage, with current ranging from 10 to 100 A. After a period of up to 400 μs, the current demand increases abruptly; an arc discharge occurs between the contacts and discharges the capacitances near the switch. The contact gap undergoes a rapid dielectric recovery, and the restored voltage is maintained. These types of discharge were also observed with NSDDs; thus it can be assumed that the triggered discharges studied correspond to the NSDD type  相似文献

利用缝隙系数将钢壳内外各种电流源在壳内产生的磁场分成两部分,一部分按无壳处理,另一部分按无洞无缝的铜壶处理,因而各部分垂直场的解析计算结果与实验值符合很好,并能很好地解释HL-1装置平衡放电长达1S和外加垂直场很小的根本原因。经在装置上关闭内垂直场试验,结果表明,虽然有厚钢壳存在,外垂直场完全可以代替内垂直场。与以前相比,明显地改善了等离子体位置的平衡控制。  相似文献

本文计算出超导膜在磁场中的能隙。所得到的表达式适用于所有的温度,但磁场要满足((ehp0/(mc) A/(πkBTc))2《1条件,其中A是矢势,hp0是Fermi动量。理论结果和实验进行了比较,符合得还好。  相似文献

脉冲电源驱动的滑动放电能够在大气压下产生高能量、高功率密度的低温等离子体. 为了研究微秒脉冲电源在针-针电极结构中产生滑动放电的特征, 本文采用电压幅值为0–30 kV, 脉冲宽度约8 μs, 脉冲重复频率为1–3000 Hz的微秒脉冲电源, 通过测量电压、电流波形和拍摄放电图像, 研究了微秒脉冲滑动放电的电特性. 实验结果表明, 随着施加电压的增加微秒脉冲滑动放电存在三种典型的放电模式: 电晕放电、弥散放电和类滑动放电. 不同放电模式的电压、电流波形和放电图像之间差异显著. 脉冲重复频率对微秒脉冲滑动放电特性有影响, 表现为当气体流量较小(2 L/min)时, 类滑动放电的放电通道随着脉冲重复频率的增大逐渐集中, 而当气体流量较大(16 L/min)时, 类滑动放电的放电通道随着脉冲重复频率的增大逐渐分散. 不同气流下重复频率对滑动放电特性的影响与放电中粒子的记忆效应和气流的状态有关.  相似文献
