The discrete Fitzhugh nerve systems obtained by the Euler method is investigated and it is proved that there exist chaotic phenomena in the sense of Marotto’s definition of chaos. And numerical simulations not only show the consistence with the theoretical analysis but also exhibit the complex dynarnical behaviors, including the ten-periodic orbit, a cascade of period-doubling bifurcation, quasiperiodic orbits and the chaotic orbits and intermittent chaos. The computations of Lyapunov exponents confirm the chaos behaviors. Moreover we also find a strange attractor having the self-similar ohit structure as that of Henon attractor.  相似文献

A mechanism for period doubling and transition to chaos for the dissipative Henon map is investigated. The renormalization group technique is used for that purpose. In this paper, we consider the families of nearby singular diffeomorphism and the measure of a set in the parameter space, such that for each point of the set the corresponding diffeomorphism possesses strange attractor. For some families of one-dimensional mapping satisfying certain transversality condition, we prove that there is a positive measure set in the parameter space, such that the system in the corresponding families of nearly singular diffeomorphism has strange attractor. The objective of this research is the presentation of a feed‐forward neural network capable of estimating the 2‐cycle fixed points of Henon map by solving their defining nonlinear algebraic system. The network uses the back propagation algorithm and solves the aforementioned system for a set of values of the parameters α and β of Henon map. Besides the estimation of the fixed points, the paper includes the study of the network convergence and its speed for many different initial conditions. In the first part of this work, the local singularity of non-smooth dynamical systems was discussed and the criteria for the grazing bifurcation were presented mathematically. In this part, the fragmentation mechanism of strange attractors in non-smooth dynamical systems is investigated. The periodic motion transition is completed through grazing. The concepts for the initial and final grazing, switching manifolds are introduced for six basic mappings. The fragmentation of strange attractors in non-smooth dynamical systems is described mathematically. The fragmentation mechanism of the strange attractor for such a non-smooth dynamical system is qualitatively discussed. Such a fragmentation of the strange attractor is illustrated numerically. The criteria and topological structures for the fragmentation of the strange attractor need to be further developed as in hyperbolic strange attractors. The fragmentation of the strange attractors extensively exists in non-smooth dynamical systems, which will help us better understand chaotic motions in non-smooth dynamical systems.  相似文献

This paper investigates the strange planet problem for the purpose of secure communication. To this end, the problem is modeled with automata, and the essential principle under the transitions is discovered. Strange non-chaotic, strange chaotic and quasiperiodic attractors are demonstrated to exist for a system of two non-linear coupled oscillators with almost periodic excitations. For same parameter values a transition from a strange non-chaotic to a quasiperiodic attractor is presented, whereas for other parameter values a shift from the strange chaotic attractor to a quasiperiodic one is found.  相似文献

Three algorithms based on the bifurcation method are applied to solving the D4(3) symmetric positive solutions to the boundary value problem of Henon equation. Taking r in Henon equation as a bifurcation parameter, the symmetry-breaking bifurcation points are found via the extended systems on the branch of the D4(3) symmetric positive solutions. Finally, other symmetric positive solutions are computed by the branch switching method based on the Liapunov–Schmidt reduction.  相似文献

In this work we show, on a manifold of any dimension, that arbitrarily near any smooth diffeomorphism with a homoclinic tangency associated to a sectionally dissipative fixed or periodic point (i.e. the product of any pair of eigenvalues has norm less than 1), there exists a diffeomorphism exhibiting infinitely many Hénon-like strange attractors. In the two-dimensional case this has been proved in [E. Colli, Infinitely many coexisting strange attractors, Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire 15 (1998) 539–579]. This paper presents some new ideas to understand the strange attractor fragmentation caused by grazing in non-smooth dynamic systems. The sufficient and necessary conditions for grazing bifurcations in non-smooth dynamic systems are presented. The initial sets of grazing mapping are introduced and the corresponding initial grazing manifolds are discussed. The grazing-induced fragmentation of strange attractors of chaotic motions in non-smooth dynamical systems is presented. The mathematical theory for such a fragmentation of strange attractors should be further developed.  相似文献

A relation is described between Arnold's strange duality anda polar duality between the Newton polytopes which is mostlydue to M. Kobayashi. It is shown that this relation continuesto hold for the extension of Arnold's strange duality foundby C. T. C. Wall and the author. By a method of Ehlers–Varchenko,the characteristic polynomial of the monodromy of a hypersurfacesingularity can be computed from the Newton diagram. This methodis generalized to the isolated complete intersection singularitiesembraced in the extended duality. This is used to explain theduality of characteristic polynomials of the monodromy discoveredby K. Saito for Arnold's original strange duality and extendedby the author to the other cases.  相似文献
