As the Laplacian also the Helmholtz operator can be factorized in Clifford analysis. Using the fundamental solution of the Helmholtz equation, a fundamental solution can be constructed for the factors of the Helmholtz operator. These are used in the case of quaternions to prove Cauchy–Pompeiu type representation formulas in terms of powers of the factors as well as in terms of powers of the Helmholtz operator. 相似文献

We study the semiclassical measure for the solution of the high-frequency Helmholtz equation in Rn with non-constant absorption index and a source term concentrated on a bounded submanifold of Rn. The potential is not assumed to be non-trapping, but trapped trajectories have to go through the region where the absorption index is positive. In that case, the solution is microlocally written around any point away from the source as a sum (finite or infinite) of lagrangian distributions. 相似文献

The main objective is the study of a class of boundary value problems in weak formulation where two boundary conditions are
given on the half-lines bordering the first quadrant that contain impedance data and oblique derivatives. The associated operators
are reduced by matricial coupling relations to certain boundary pseudodifferential operators which can be analyzed in detail.
Results are: Fredholm criteria, explicit construction of generalized inverses in Bessel potential spaces, eventually after
normalization, and regularity results. Particular interest is devoted to the impedance problem and to the oblique derivative

In this paper we prove the existence of integrable solutions for a generalized mixed type operator equation, which contains many key integral and functional equations appearing frequently in Mathematical literature. Our main tool is a Krasnosel’skii type fixed point theorem recently proved by Latrach and Taoudi, the first author. Generalized Anti-Wick operators are introduced as a class of
pseudodifferential operators which depend on a symbol and two different window
functions. Using symbols in Sobolev spaces with negative smoothness and
windows in so-called modulation spaces, we derive new conditions for the
boundedness on L2 of such operators and for their membership in the Schatten
classes. These results extend and refine results contained in [20], [10], [5],

This paper studies various aspects of reproducing kernel spaces with a possibly indefinite metric when the field of scalar is replaced by the skew–field of quaternions. We first discuss in some details the positive case. A key fact which allows to consider the non–positive case is that Hermitian matrices with quaternionic entries have only real eigenvalues. This permits to extend the notion of functions with a finite number of negative squares to the present setting and we prove in particular that there is a one–to–one correspondence between such functions and reproducing kernel Pontryagin quaternionic spaces. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to develop the Wiener-Hopf method for systems of pseudo-differential equations with non-constant coefficients and to apply it to the describtion of the asymptotic behaviour of solutions to boundary integral equations for crack problems when a crack occurs in a linear anisotropic elastic medium. The method was suggested in [15] for scalar pseudo-differential equations with constant coefficients and applied in [7] to the crack problems in the isotropic case. The existence and a-priori smoothness of solutions for the anisotropic case has been proved in [11, 12], while the isotropic case has been treated earlier in [7, 25, 41, 50]. Our results improve even those for the isotropic case obtained in [7, 50]. We consider the Neumann eigenvalue problem for the Laplace operator in the open subset φ(Ω) of Rn, where φ is a locally Lipschitz continuous homeomorphism of Ω onto φ(Ω). Then, we show Lipschitz-type inequalities for the reciprocals of the eigenvalues delivered by the Rayleigh quotient. In this paper we develop the necessary conditions of optimality for a class of distributed parameter systems (partial differential equations) determined by operator valued measures and controlled by vector measures. Based on some recent results on existence of optimal controls from the space of vector measures, we develop necessary conditions of optimality for a class of control problems. The main results are the necessary conditions of optimality for problems without state constraints and those with state constraints. Also, a conceptual algorithm along with a brief discussion of its convergence is presented. 相似文献
