We study oscillatory behavior of solutions to a class of second-order half-linear dynamic equations with deviating arguments under the assumptions that allow applications to dynamic equations with delayed and advanced arguments. Several improved Fite–Hille–Wintner-type criteria are obtained that do not need some restrictive assumptions required in related results. Illustrative examples and conclusions are presented to show that these criteria are sharp for differential equations and provide sharper estimates for oscillation of corresponding -difference equations. 相似文献

The behavior of multi-dimensional discrete Boltzmann systems with highly oscillatory data is studied. Homogenized equations for the mean solutions are obtained. Uniform convergence of the oscillatory solutions of the discrete Boltzmann equations to the solutions of the corresponding homogenized equations is established. Moreover, we find that the weak limits of the oscillatory solutions for a model of Broadwell type are not continuous functions of the discrete velocities. Generalization of the above results to problems with multiple-scale initial data is also established. 相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with oscillatory functional differential equations (that is, those equations where all the solutions oscillate) under a numerical approximation. Our interest is in the preservation of qualitative properties of solutions under a numerical discretisation. We give conditions under which an equation is oscillatory, and consider whether the discrete schemes derived using linear ?-methods will also be oscillatory.
