We report the observation of B(s)?→J/ψf?(980) and evidence for B(s)?→J/ψf?(1370), which are CP eigenstate decay modes. These results are obtained from 121.4 fb?1 of data collected at the Υ(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e? collider. We measure the branching fractions B(B(s)?→J/ψf?(980); f?(980)→π(+)π?)=(1.16(-0.19)(+0.31)(stat)(-0.17)(+0.15)(syst)(-0.18)(+0.26)(N(B(s)((*))B(s)((*)))))×10?? with a significance of 8.4σ, and B(B(s)?→J/ψf?(1370); f?(1370)→π(+)π?)=(0.34(-0.14)(+0.11)(stat)(-0.02)(+0.03)(syst)(-0.05)(+0.08)(N(B(s)((*))B(s)((*)))))×10?? with a significance of 4.2σ. The last error listed is due to uncertainty in the number of produced B(s)((*))B(s)((*)) pairs.  相似文献

We study two-body B_((c))→M_c(π,K) and semileptonic B_c→M_cl~-v_1 decays with M_c=(J/φ,X_c~0),where X_c~0=X~0(3872) is regarded as the tetraquark state ccuu(dd). With the decay constant f_x_c~O=(234±52) MeV determined from the data,we predict that B(B~-→X_c~0π~-) =(11.5±5.7)×10~(-6),B(B~C→X_c~0K~0)=(2.1±1.0)×10~(-4),and B(B_s~0→X_c~0K~0)=(11.4±5.6)×10~(-6).With the form factors in QCD models,we calculate that B(B_c~-→X_c~0π~-,X_c~0K~-)=(6.0±2.6)×10~(-5) and(4.7±2.0)×10~(-6),and B(B_c~-→J/φμ~-v_μ~-v_μ,X_c~0μ~-v_μ)=(2.3±0.6)×10~(-2) and(1.35±0.18)×10~(-3),respectively,and extract the ratio of the fragmentation fractions to be f_c/f_u=(6.4±1.9)×10~(-3).  相似文献

The decay B(s)(0) → J/ψK+ K- is investigated using 0.16 fb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector using 7 TeV pp collisions. Although the J/ψ? channel is well known, final states at higher K+ K- masses have not previously been studied. In the K+ K- mass spectrum we observe a significant signal in the f(2)'(1525) region as well as a nonresonant component. After subtracting the nonresonant component, we find B(B(s)(0) → J/ψf(2)'(1525))/B(B(s)(0) → J/ψ?) = (26.4 ± 2.7 ± 2.4)%.  相似文献

We report the first observation of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays D(+)→K(+)η((')) using a 791 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The ratio of the branching fractions of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed relative to singly Cabibbo-suppressed D(+)→π(+)η((')) decays are B(D(+)→K(+)η)/B(D(+)→π(+)η)=(3.06±0.43±0.14)% and B(D(+)→K(+)η')/B(D(+)→π(+)η')=(3.77±0.39±0.10)%. From these, we find that the relative final-state phase difference between the tree and annihilation amplitudes in D(+) decays, δ(TA), is (72±9)° or (288±9)°. We also report the most precise measurements of CP asymmetries to date: A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η)=(+1.74±1.13±0.19)% and A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η')=(-0.12±1.12±0.17)%.  相似文献

We present the first measurement of polarization and CP-violating asymmetries in a B(s)(0) decay into two light vector mesons, B(s)(0)→φφ, and an improved determination of its branching ratio using 295 decays reconstructed in a data sample corresponding to 2.9 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. The fraction of longitudinal polarization is determined to be f(L)=0.348±0.041(stat)±0.021(syst), and the branching ratio B(B(s)(0)→φφ)=[2.32±0.18(stat)±0.82(syst)]×10(-5). Asymmetries of decay angle distributions sensitive to CP violation are measured to be A(u)=-0.007±0.064(stat)±0.018(syst) and A(v)=-0.120±0.064(stat)±0.016(syst).  相似文献

With the recent investigations of the g*g*(') transition form factor and η-η' mixing scheme, we present an updated study of the radiative decays J/ψ → η(')γ in perturbative QCD. The decays are taken as a test ground for the g*g*(') transition form factors and the η-η' mixing scheme. The form factors are found to be working for glunic η' production and the mixing angle is constrained to be φ=35.1°±0.8°.  相似文献

The study of ρ-ω mixing has mainly focused on vector meson decays with isospin I = 1, namely theρ(ω)→π+π- process. In this paper, we present a study of ρ-ω mixing in ρ(ω)→π+π-π0(I = 0) using a flavor parameterization model for the J/ψ→VP process. By fitting a theoretical framework to PDG data, we obtain the SU(3)-breaking effect parameters sV = 0.03±0.12, sP = 0.17±0.17 and the ρ-ω mixing polarization operatorΠρω =(0.006±0.011) GeV2. New values are found for the branching ratios when the mixing effect is incorporated:Br(J/ψ→ωπ0)=(3.64±0.37)×10-4, Br(J/ψ→ωη)=(1.48±0.17)×10-3, Br(J/ψ→ωη)=(1.55±0.56)×10-4, these are different from the corresponding PDG2012 values by 19%, 15% and 15%, respectively.  相似文献

Based on the branching fractions of J/ψ→VP from different experiments, we investigate the properties of the coupling constants of J/ψ→VP decays using a model-dependent approach. We find that the octet coupling constant, g8, of strong interaction is about twice larger than that of the singlet coupling constant g1; the electromag- netic breaking parameters gEi are larger than the mass breaking parameters gMi, moreover, the three parameters of the electromagnetic effect are about equal, but the three parameters of the mass effect are obviously different and their uncertainties are also large; and the phase angle between strong and electromagnetic interactions is in the range of 70°-80°. It deepens our understanding of the coupling constant of J/ψ→VP decays.  相似文献

With a sample of (225.2±2.8)×10(6) J/ψ events registered in the BESIII detector, J/ψ→γπ(+)π(-)η(') is studied using two η(') decay modes: η(')→π(+)π(-)η and η(')→γρ(0). The X(1835), which was previously observed by BESII, is confirmed with a statistical significance that is larger than 20σ. In addition, in the π(+)π(-)η(') invariant-mass spectrum, the X(2120) and the X(2370), are observed with statistical significances larger than 7.2σ and 6.4σ, respectively. For the X(1835), the angular distribution of the radiative photon is consistent with expectations for a pseudoscalar.  相似文献

We show that in the standard model the parametrically leading (by a factor 1/α(s)) contribution to the inclusive CP asymmetry in B→X(s,d)γ decays arises from a long-distance effect in the interference of the electromagnetic dipole amplitude with the amplitude for an up-quark penguin transition accompanied by soft gluon emission. Using model estimates for the associated hadronic parameter Λ(17)(u), we predict a value in the range -0.6% < A(X(s)γ)(SM) < 2.8%. In view of current experimental data, a future precision measurement of the flavor-averaged CP asymmetry would signal the presence of new physics only if a value below -2% was found. A cleaner probe of new physics is offered by the difference of the CP asymmetries in charged versus neutral B→X(s,d)γ decays.  相似文献

Although J/ψ weak decays are rare, they are possible within the standard model of elementary particles.Inspired by the potential prospects of the future intensity frontier, the C parity violating J/ψ→πη~((')),ηη' decays and the strangeness changing J/ψ→πK,Kη~((')) decays are studied via the perturbative QCD approach. It is determined that the J/ψ→ηη' decays have relatively large branching ratios, approximately on the order of 10~(-11),which might be within the measurement capability and sensitivity of the future STCF experiment.  相似文献

In this paper, we calculated the B→(J/ψ,ηc)K decays in the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factoriza-tion approach with the inclusion of the partial next-to-leading order (NLO) contributions. With the inclusion of the significant enhancement from the NLO vertex corrections, the NLO pQCD predictions for the branching ra-tios agree with the data within 2σ errors: Br(B0→J/ψK0)=5.2+3.5-2.8×10-4,Br(B+→J/ψK+)=5.6+3.7-2.9×10-4,Br(B0→ηcK0)=5.5+2.3-2.0×10-4,Br(B+→ηcK+)=5.9+2.5-2.1×10-4.  相似文献

We present a search for f(J)(2220) production in radiative J/ψ→γf(J)(2220) decays using 460 fb?1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II e(+)e? collider. The f(J)(2220) is searched for in the decays to K(+)K? and K(S)?K(S)?. No evidence of this resonance is observed, and 90% confidence level upper limits on the product of the branching fractions for J/ψ→γf(J)(2220) and f(J)(2220)→K(+)K?(K(S)?K(S)?) as a function of spin and helicity are set at the level of 10??, below the central values reported by the Mark III experiment.  相似文献

QCD theory predicts the existence of glueballs, but so far all experimental endeavors have failed to identify any such states. To remedy this discrepancy between QCD,which has proven to be a successful theory for strong interactions, and the failure of experimental searches for glueballs, one is tempted to accept the promising interpretation that the glueballs mix with regular qq states of the same quantum numbers. The lattice estimate of the masses of pure 0~(++) glueballs ranges from 1 to 2 GeV,which is the region of the f_0 family. Thus many authors suggest that the f_0 mesonic series is an ideal place to study possible mixtures of glueballs and qq.In this paper, following the strategy proposed by Close,Farrar and Li,we try to determine the fraction of glueball components in f_0 mesons using the measured mass spectra and the branching ratios of J/ψ radiative decays into f_0 mesons.Since the pioneering papers by Close et al.,more than 20 years have elapsed and more accurate measurements have been done by several experimental collaborations,so it is time to revisit this interesting topic using new data.We suppose f_0(500) and f_0(980) to be pure quark states, while for f_0(1370),f_0(1500) and f_0(1710),to fit both the experimental data of J/ψ radiative decay and their mass spectra, glueball components are needed. Moreover, the mass of the pure 0~(++) glueball is phenomenologically determined.  相似文献

By employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach, we calculate the full leading and the partial next-to-leading order (NLO) contributions to the seven B→πη(') and η(')η(') decays. For B+B→π+η(') decays, the pQCD predictions for their decay rates agree very well with the data after the inclusion of the small NLO contributions. For neutral decays, the pQCD predictions are also consistent with the experimental upper limits and can be tested by the LHC experiments. The measured value of ACPdir(π±η)=-19±7% can also be accommodated by the pQCD approach.  相似文献
