This paper investigated the interaction between an edge dislocation and a nonuniformly coated circular inclusion. Based on the technique of conformal mapping and the method of analytical continuation in conjunction with alternating technique, the solutions to plane elasticity problems for three dissimilar media are derived explicitly in a series form. For a limiting case when the thickness of the interphase layer is uniform, the derived analytical solutions of this paper are reduced to exactly the same results available in the literature. The image force acting on the dislocation is then determined by using the Peach–Koehler formula. It is found that the combination of material constants and nonuniformity of the interphase thickness will exert a significant influence on the dislocation force.  相似文献

The problem of the elastic interaction between a screw dislocation and a three-phase circular inclusion with interracial rigid lines (anti-cracks) is investigated. An efficient and concise method for the complex multiply connected region is developed, with which explicit series form solutions of the complex potentials in the matrix, and the interphase layer and inclusion regions are derived. Based on the complex potentials, the image force on the screw dislocation is then calculated by using the Peach-Koehler formula. The equilibrium position of the dislocation is discussed in detail for various rigid line geometries, interphase layer thicknesses and material property combinations. The main results show that the interracial rigid lines exert a significant perturbation effect on the motion of the screw dislocation near the circular inclusion surrounded by an interphase layer.  相似文献

研究了纳米尺度圆环形涂层(界面层)中螺型位错与圆形夹杂以及无限大基体材料的干涉效应.涂层与夹杂的界面和涂层与基体的界面均考虑界面应力效应.运用复势方法,获得了三个区域复势函数的解析解答.利用求得的应力场和Peach-Koehler公式,得到了作用在螺型位错上位错力的精确表达式.主要讨论了界面应力对涂层(界面层)中螺型位错运动和平衡稳定的影响规律.结果表明,界面应力对界面附近位错的运动有大的影响,由于界面应力的存在,可以改变涂层内位错与夹杂/基体干涉的引斥规律,并使位错在涂层内部产生三个稳定或非稳定的平衡点.考虑界面效应后,有一个额外的排斥力或吸引力作用在位错上,使原有的位错力增加或减小.  相似文献

This research presents an analytical study of the interaction problem of an edge dislocation with a circular inclusion with a circumferentially inhomogeneously imperfect interface. The interface, which is modeled as a spring (interphase) layer with vanishing thickness, is characterized by that in which there is a displacement jump across the interface in the same direction as the corresponding tractions, and the same degree of imperfection is realized in both the normal and tangential directions. Furthermore, the interface parameter is nonuniform along the interface. In order to arrive at an elementary form solution, we introduce a conformal mapping function. Then the stress field as well as the Peach–Koehler force acting on the edge dislocation can be obtained from the derived complex potentials. Calculations demonstrate that the nonuniform interface parameter has a significant influence on the stress field.  相似文献

A novel method is proposed to design neutral N-phase (N ? 3) elliptical inclusions with internal uniform hydrostatic stresses. We focus on the study of the internal and external stress states of an N-phase elliptical inclusion which is bonded to an infinite matrix through (N ? 2) interphase layers. The interfaces of the N-phase elliptical inclusion are (N ? 1) confocal ellipses. The design of the resulting overall composite material consists of four stages: (i) an inner perfectly bonded interphase/inclusion interface which is necessary to make the internal uniform stress state hydrostatic; (ii) outer imperfect interphase layers properly designed to make the coated inclusion harmonic (i.e., the uniform mean stress of the original field within the matrix is unperturbed); (iii) the aspect ratio of the elliptic inclusion uniquely chosen for a given material and thickness parameters to make the resulting coated inclusion neutral (i.e., the prescribed uniform stress field in the matrix remains undisturbed); and finally (iv) the derivation of a simple condition relating the remote uniform stresses and the thickness parameters of the (N ? 2) interphase layers for given material parameters which lead to internal uniform hydrostatic stresses. We note that another interesting feature of the present results is that the mean stress is found to be constant within each interphase layer, and the hoop stress in the innermost interphase layer is uniform along the entire interphase/inclusion interface.  相似文献

The interaction between a piezoelectric screw dislocation and an interphase layer in piezoelectric solids is theoretically investigated.Here,the dislocation located at arbitrary points inside either the matrix or the inclusion and the interfaces of the interphase layer are imperfect.By the complex variable method,the explicit solutions to the complex potentials are given,and the electroelastic fields can be derived from them.The image force acting on the dislocation can be obtained by the generalized PeachKoehler formula.The motion of the piezoelectric screw dislocation and its equilibrium positions are discussed for variable parameters.The important results show that,if the inner interface of the interphase layer is imperfect and the magnitude of degree of the interface imperfection reaches the certain value,two equilibrium positions of the piezoelectric screw dislocation in the matrix near the interface are found for the certain material combination which has never been observed in the previous studies(without considering the interface imperfection).  相似文献

本文提出了Winkler地基上变厚度圆板轴对称弯曲的传递矩阵算法。首先,根据贝塞尔函数理论获得了等厚度圆板和环板单元在任意荷载作用下轴对称弯曲的解析解,这些解均由通解和特解两部分组成。基于这些解析解,导出了等厚度圆板和环板单元的传递矩阵。然后沿径向将变厚度圆板划分成一个等厚度圆板单元和一系列等厚度环板单元,应用传递矩阵算法原理获得了变厚度圆板的整体传递矩阵。引入圆板的边界条件,给出了该板每条节线上的挠度、径向转角、径向弯矩和径向剪力。最后,讨论了受均布荷载作用的简支线性变厚度圆板的弯曲,将本文数值解与解析解进行比较,证实了本文方法的有效性,并简要地讨论了地基参数对板挠度和径向弯矩的影响。  相似文献

The interaction of a screw dislocation in the interphase layer with the circular inhomogeneity and matrix was dealt with . An efficient method for multiply connected regions was developed by combining the sectionally subholomorphic function theory, Schwatz symmetric principle and Cauchy integral technique. The Hilbert problem of the complex potentials for three material regions was reduced to a functional equation in the complex potential of the interphase layer, resulting in an explicit series solution . By using the present solution the interaction energy and force acting dislocation were evaluated and discussed.  相似文献

Within the framework of the linear theory of magnetoelectroelasticity, the problem of a circular layered inclusion interacting with a generalized screw dislocation under remote anti-plane shear stress and in-plane magnetoelectric loads is investigated in this paper. The generalized dislocation can be located either in the matrix or in the circular layered inclusion. The layers are coaxial cylinders of annular cross-sections with arbitrary radii and different material properties. Using complex variable theory and the alternating technique, the solution of the present problem is expressed in terms of the solution of the corresponding homogeneous medium problem subjected to the same loading. Some numerical results are provided to investigate the influence of material combinations on the shear stress, electric field, magnetic and image force. These solutions can be used as Green's functions for the analysis of the corresponding magnetoelectric crack problem.  相似文献

This research is devoted to the study of anisotropic bimaterials with Kelvin-type viscoelastic interface under antiplane deformations. First we derive the Green’s function for a bimaterial with a Kelvin-type viscoelastic interface subjected to an antiplane force and a screw dislocation by means of the complex variable method. Explicit expressions are derived for the time-dependent stress field induced by the antiplane force and screw dislocation. Also presented is the time-dependent image force acting on the screw dislocation due to its interaction with the Kelvin-type viscoelastic interface. Second we investigate a rectangular inclusion with uniform antiplane eigenstrains embedded in one of the two bonded anisotropic half-planes by virtue of the derived Green’s function for a line force. The explicit expressions for the time-dependent stress field induced by the rectangular inclusion are obtained in terms of the simple logarithmic and exponential integral functions. It is observed that in general the stresses exhibit the logarithmic singularity at the four corners of the rectangular inclusion. Our results also show that when one side of the rectangular inclusion lies on the viscoelastic interface, the interfacial tractions are still regular at the two corners of the inclusion which are located on the interface. Last we address a finite Griffith crack normal to the viscoelastic interface by means of the obtained Green’s function for a screw dislocation. The crack problem is formulated in terms of a resulting singular integral equation which is solved numerically. The time-dependent stress intensity factors at the two crack tips are obtained and some interesting features are discussed.  相似文献

We investigate the stability of a misfit screw dislocation dipole in a coated fibrous composite. The fiber is stiffer whereas the coating is more compliant than the matrix. A critical coating thickness is identified for given material parameters of the composite. For a compliant coating below the critical thickness, there exist an inner unstable and an outer stable equilibrium position in the matrix for the dislocation dipole. However, for a compliant coating above the critical thickness, the dislocation dipole will be attracted to the coating–matrix interface. If the coating thickness is greater than the inclusion radius, the dislocation dipole cannot lodge in the matrix no matter what values of the material parameters are chosen.  相似文献

本文重点研究螺型住错偶极子和圆形夹杂界面刚性线的弹性干涉效应。利用复变函数方法,得到了该问题的一般解;此外还求出了只含一条界面刚性线时的封闭解答,得到了刚性线尖端的应力强度因子以及作用在螺型位错偶板子中心的像力和像力偶矩。研究结果表明:位错偶板子对应力强度因子具有很强的屏蔽或反屏蔽效应;软夹杂吸引位错偶极子,而刚性线排斥位错偶板子,在一定条件下,位错偶极子在刚性线附近出现一个平衡位置;当刚性线的长度争材料剪切模量比达到临界值时,可以改变偶极子和界面之间的干涉机理;刚性线长度对位错偶极子中心像力偶矩也有很大的影响。  相似文献

The interaction of a generalized screw dislocation with circular arc interfacial cracks under remote antiplane shear stresses, in-plane electric and magnetic loads in transversely isotropic magnetoelectroelastic solids is dealt with. By using the complex variable method, the general solutions to the problem are presented. The closed-form expressions of complex potentials in both the inhomogeneity and the matrix are derived for a single circular-arc interfacial crack. The intensity factors of stress, electric displacement and magnetic induction are provided explicitly. The image forces acting on the dislocation are also calculated by using the generalized Peach–Koehler formula. For the case of piezoelectric matrix and piezomagnetic inclusion, the shielding and anti-shielding effect of the dislocation upon the stress intensity factors is evaluated in detail. The results indicate that if the distance between the dislocation and the crack tip remains constant, the dislocation in the interface will have a largest shielding effect which retards the crack propagation. In addition, the influence of the interfacial crack geometry and materials magnetoelectroelastic mismatch upon the image force is discussed. Numerical computations show that the perturbation effect of the above parameters upon the image force is significant. The main result shows that a stable or unstable equilibrium point may be found when a screw dislocation approaches the surface of the crack from infinity which differs from the perfect bonded case under the same conditions. The present solutions contain a number of previously known results which can be shown to be special cases.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the interaction of a screw dislocation with a multi-layered interphase between a circularly cylindrical inclusion and a matrix. The layers are coaxial cylinders of annular cross-sections with arbitrary radii and different shear moduli. The number of layers may also be arbitrary. Continuity of traction and displacement across all interfaces is assumed. We extend Honein et al.’s solution of circularly cylindrical layered media in anti-plane elastostatics to the case where all the singularities reside inside the inclusion core. The solution to this heterogeneous problem is given explicitly, for arbitrary singularities, as a rapidly convergent Laurent series, whose coefficients are expressed in terms of those of the complex potential of a corresponding homogeneous problem with the same singularities. We then consider the two particular cases of a screw dislocation, where, in the first instance, the dislocation resides inside the matrix, while, in the second instance, it is located in the inclusion core. In both instances, the Peach–Koehler force acting on the dislocation is calculated explicitly as a rapidly convergent series. We present several examples, where the effect of the layers on the material force is examined.  相似文献

The electro-elastic interaction between a piezoelectric screw dislocation located either outside or inside inhomogeneity and circular interfacial rigid lines under anti-plane mechanical and in-plane electrical loads in linear piezoelectric materials is dealt with in the framework of linear elastic theory. Using Riemann–Schwarz’s symmetry principle integrated with the analysis of singularity of complex functions, the general solution of this problem is presented in this paper. For a special example, the closed form solutions for electro-elastic fields in matrix and inhomogeneity regions are derived explicitly when interface containing single rigid line. Applying perturbation technique, perturbation stress and electric displacement fields are obtained. The image force acting on piezoelectric screw dislocation is calculated by using the generalized Peach–Koehler formula. As a result, numerical analysis and discussion show that soft inhomogeneity can repel screw dislocation in piezoelectric material due to their intrinsic electro-mechanical coupling behavior and the influence of interfacial rigid line upon the image force is profound. When the radian of circular rigid line reaches extensive magnitude, the presence of interfacial rigid line can change the interaction mechanism.  相似文献

We consider the anti-plane shear deformation of a three-phase inhomogeneity-coating-matrix composite containing a coated non-elliptical inhomogeneity whose surrounding matrix is subjected to the action of a screw dislocation and uniform remote anti-plane shear stresses. Our objective is to establish conditions under which the inhomogeneity maintains an internal uniform stress field. Our analysis, which is based on a carefully chosen conformal mapping function, clearly indicates that such an internal uniform stress distribution can be achieved independently of the action of the screw dislocation, which influences the shape of the inhomogeneity depending on its proximity to the dislocation. In fact, we find that when the screw dislocation is located far from the coated inhomogeneity, the corresponding material interfaces become two confocal ellipses as reported previously in the literature. A simple criterion for the convergence of the series in the conformal mapping function is established.  相似文献
